I ordered online. Bought two things and decided to call them to speak to them about the issue. The lady on the phone argued saying bring the food and I’ll refund the missing items to you. I ordered for a reason, because I can’t drive myself to get the food. She refused to refund and said come in person and I’ll give you the missing item. Never and I mean never going to order from them again. Shame because I’ve been their customer since they opened years ago. First time I had an issue and this is the way they treat customers. Gonna go in tomorrow and speak in person about their horrible customer service.

Google
The soup was fire 🔥. So delicious!! 😋. Best Chinese food in Lexington!!

Google
The food was amazing. Some of the best American-Chinese food I've had in a long time. The egg drop soup is by far the best I've had in a hot minute. The tables were super clean and the lady upfront was more than friendly.

Salah Shakir

Google
Great place to eat with freshly made meals. Good portions with a great service. Many menu items to choose fir dinning in with social distancing or take out. We ate many times and will go back. I prefer it over any buffet food.

Trevor Campbell

Google
Very disappointed. Reviews were positive however I did not experience that. Sesame chicken 14.00 small tough little little shards. And kung pow chicken not spicy at all and again very small tough pieces. Egg rolls. Peppery and cold. The owner was nice but there is a reason the restaurant was empty. Unfortunate.

Google
Very delicious and for lunch meal, it is still big. Fully satisfied and recommended. I ordered Hunan chicken for 2nd time and 5 times ordered general soy chicken.

Google
I'm generally not a huge fan of Chinese food but this place was great. The food has a different twist to it that is subtle but refreshing. I've yet to try anything there that was bad which is honestly quite surprising since even the best restaurants usually have something they don't do well. Favorites are dumplings but only with the sauce, and maybe the beef lo mein. It's kind of hard to pick

Abdul Samad

Google
The best halal Chinese food I had in Kentucky, just had their beef kung pak, chicken lowmen and orange chicken. The food is amazing, the people here are very welcoming and hospitable. I came here with my college friends and they gave us a free dessert.

Yelp
I picked up food here for a late lunch, which was delicious. I ordered beef lo mein and chicken with ginger sauce. I thoroughly enjoyed my lo mein so quickly when I took it to-go and ate at the park that's close by. The place can be found in a shopping center close to Kroger and has plenty of parking spots. The interior of this restaurant is homely. The service for to-go orders was quick as well. It only took 10 minutes for my orders to be ready for pick-up.

Yelp
Amazing food. Good service too. I would normally recommend something but honestly everything I've tried was good

Yelp
Good food. Even better service. Thanks for staying open after hours to serve us! The orange chicken and beef lo mein were delicious

Yelp
This is our favorite restaurant in Lexington. The service is outstanding and the owner is so kind. She knows our names and our orders. Their tofu dishes are without a doubt the best around. Their egg rolls and spring rolls are amazing and so crispy. Don't sleep on this place!

terry

Yelp
First time ordering and won't again. Ordered the Szechuan beef and orange chicken. Neither meal was very good. Not much beef, mostly carrots, and beef was just hot. Chicken was overdone. For the price I could have done better at home. Probably worst I have had here in Lexington

Marthanne M.

Yelp
Such tasty beef fried rice! Sandy, one of the owners, is very friendly and engaging. I got a take out order, and the food was prepared quickly. A completely satisfying experience. I'll definitely be back.

Marc K.

Yelp
Me and my homie coming here at least once a week and it's bussin! Great customer service and to die for food! No line and great service I recommend the egg drop soup
google avatar

Tori S.

Yelp
We got take out for the family and it couldn't have been worse! The fried rice tasted just like regular rice with soy sauce, no egg, no vegetables and no flavor. My orange chicken was burnt, hard as a rock and the sauce was dark brown with no taste. The general tso chicken was also burnt and the meat was tough, and the sauce tasted like bbq sauce. Will never go back here.

Yelp
Even though this place look like take out but some times in the menu are well cooked and have some authenticity. The place is also clean and good to dine in.

Yelp
It's been a long time since we last visited Santi and her wonderful restaurant in Beaumont, but let me tell you...we missed her kindness, passion, and wonderful food. She made us Mooshu Chicken and Singapore Meifun and as always her Chicken Dumplings which deserve a Michelin Star by themselves! She does it the best in Lexington and even has folks from Hazard where her old shop was coming here for her amazing food.

Zeke F.

Yelp
This is my second time going to this Peking and it has not disappointed me either time! The food is amazing as well as the service. They are super helpful, patient and welcoming. I highly recommend checking it out!

Alice W.

Yelp
We didn't realize they got a new owner (from Indonesia) since we're in the neighborhood so just walked in for a nice Chinese dinner. Got both orders in extremely tiny paper plates plus only one white rice in another tiny and shallow disposable bowl. Food is okay but Charged over $3 for one hot tea (with 5 cents tea bag lol) Very disappointed and definitely our first and last visit

Jane S.

Yelp
It's a little restaurant in a strip mall. If no one is out front, ring the bell. You can place your order to go or eat in the clean and comfortable dining room. I don't know when I have been so warmly greeted in a restaurant. The cook was also our server, and I believe she must also be the owner. If not, she definitely deserves a raise. She proudly pointed out her most popular dishes and recommended we try the Chicken Dumplings as an appetizer. We had Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken and of course the dumplings. It was all delicious. I am not a huge fan of Chinese food, but I am definitely a fan of this little place. I have a feeling I will be craving the Mongolian Beef regularly. The New Peking Bistro should not be missed.

K A.

Yelp
Visited here with family when we were in town. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness of all of the dishes. The flavors were delicious in every single item that we order and the service was very friendly. The general Tso's chicken was amazing. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
The sesame chicken ( chicken??? Or dried mule ) was disgusting, truly disgusting, soaking in a sauce which could turn one's stomach. I would only suggest this restaurant to someone I truly wished not long for on this Earth. As I haven't yet met someone so vile, I suggest saving money ( 2 meals for nearly $60! A total ripoff) and finding a smaller Chinese place. Hopefully you will eat what was once chicken.. I give the fried rice one star

Yelp
Sitting at work a few weeks back I didn't have the time to take a full lunch break but I knew my protein bars were only taking me so far. Located within walking distance from my office, a colleague of mine let me know I could just order online and go pick it up. I looked online and their full menu is on there and easy to order. You can even write in the comments if you want something prepared in a certain way. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken without the sauce (yes I'm a weirdo, I don't dig the sauce) with a spring roll. Within 15 minutes of ordering (took me less than 5 minutes to order) I was able to take a quick breather from my desk to go get it. They were quick and the service was friendly. Their portions are huge and are definitely enough for 2.

Yelp
Amazing place! Food is delicious, hot and fresh and it's in large portions too! My favorites are the Mongolian Beef, General Tso Chicken, and the chicken dumplings because they are huge and made in house! It is located next to Kroger in Beaumont Center Circle, so plenty of parking. (pro tip: weekday lunch w/ soup and spring roll is a steal for less than $10

Hoda S.

Yelp
New Peking bistro is by far my favorite Chinese food in Lexington. Made with halal meat and no msg and the quality is always top notch. My personal favorite meals from here are chicken lo mein, beef fried rice and steamed dumplings. If you haven't tried them yet, go support this local family owned business!!
google avatar

Christine G.

Yelp
Excellent all the way around! Had the house made dumplings and sauce--perfection! Salt and pepper chicken my husband ordered--tasty! Mongolian beef and chicken for my son--scrumptious. Moo goo gai pan shared between my daughter and me--lovely (tiny bit bland). The owner is delightful, friendly, eager to please, and hard working (she makes those homemade dumplings!). We are all looking forward to going back soon. Maybe tomorrow??

Iman A.

Yelp
They are the only Halal Chinese food option-- and they are so good! Customer service is great and I've called numerous times requesting catering for the same day and they made it work! Take your business here! You wont regret it!

John M.

Yelp
SANTI was very customer friendly and polite. However, the food was most probably the most horrendously disgusting I have ever eaten at a Chinese restaurant. The beef in the fried rice and in the wonton soup was so tough and rubbery, that I had to throw it all out. The House Special Chow Mein and the House Special fried rice was horribly tasteless, and there was only one small shrimp and one piece of chicken in it. I paid $44 dollars for that. It was a total rip-off. Customers, BEWARE ! DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY in such a tasteless, disappointing gyp-joint that cheats customers for exorbitant prices and inferior food.

Sherrie F.

Yelp
DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT are there NEW OWNERS???? and HORRIBLE TASTE OF THE FOOD. We have been going here since 2005 maybe earlier, we can't remember and food was always exceptional. We spent $50.00 and had the worst dinner we have ever had ever general so was bad, lo mien noodles, what were those? Spaghetti noodles the taste of the eggroll, and crab rangoon, horrid. I have never ever in my life written a review ever.... but this food was so bad, someone needs to help these folks out or close your business for good. we threw all the food out... now that i see a few other people saying the same thing, i know we are not crazy whoever ran this restaurant from early 2000's to mid 2000's that food was really good and kept us going back

C L.

Yelp
The food is very delicious. The owners of the place are very friendly and want to make sure you really enjoy your order. We order Vegetable Lo Mein and always receive Tofu with it when we ask. Its a cozy comfortable place to sit and eat with a friend, alone, or even a date. The booths are the most comfortable I know. Great place to eat, and yes, I definitely recommend this restaurant

Yelp
It was open on Christmas without a line. I really would love to give it five stars as I was hungry and needing a spot to eat. Out of town on business on Christmas. I will give it four stars for being open but a normal day would have been 3. Service was good. The food was more what you would see from a buffet. Ok

Yelp
Great good and a great owner. She knew my name by my third visit. Always helpful, g F iOS is on-time and made perfectly to order.

Krista D.

Yelp
This is an expensive place to eat, compared to other Asian food. I had eaten there once and it was delicious. I didn't mind to pay a little more for good food. I'm not sure if it's because business is slow or what is going on, but the food I ordered was not edible. I had sweet and sour chicken and house rice. All of the meat was so dry and tough, that it was thrown in the trash. The fried rice was mushy and the vegetables were overcooked. I feel like this may have been yesterdays food. Or even worse, Saturdays. Definitely not fresh. Unfortunately, we won't be back.

Yelp
Almost 20 years ago, my friends and I would stop in Peking Bistro after high school 2-3 times a week. Recently moved back to Lexington and thought I'd stop by for good quality Chinese food and nostalgia. Unfortunately, this isn't the Peking I remember. Food was edible, but that was all I can say about it.

Yelp
I love finding places like Peking Bistro. I've done dinner there 3 times now with my girlfriend and we've been very happy each time! They obviously care about giving their customers good food! They also have been happy to make alterations to their meals when asked and they've been great!

Yelp
I stopped in this nearby place for a lunch special today. Ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken and was utterly disappointed. The chicken was like breaded jerky. Some pieces were so hard I couldn't bite them. I won't be back again.
google avatar

Jenn K.

Yelp
I stopped in to grab lunch. I got an egg roll and an order of steamed pork dumplings. They were wrapped in think dough. The egg roll was nice and crisp. Overall I enjoyed the food. The only downside is on Sundays they don't offer the lunch menu combo. I'd definitely go back again!

Yelp
This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Lexington. I have been a loyal customer for 10 years. Amazing food, large portions, friendly staff. My family and I eat here anytime we want good food! Thank you for never changing! Keep up the amazing work!
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
The people working here are really nice, but the reality is that the quality of the food is not there. Not tasty, even bland, and the meat and vegetables they use are not that great. If you're looking for good Chinese food, search elsewhere.
google avatar

Troy A.

Yelp
I'm pretty sure this place was sold to new owners sometime within the last few years since the food went from the best place in town to just so so! The food was some of the best Chinese in town with the owners that worked and knew everyone that came in! I wish I knew if they started another place somewhere because it was a rumor they were opening another place around Richmond Rd.
google avatar

Will M.

Yelp
Ordered dinner for 3 and everything we got was very good. We ordered chicken and fried rice, general tso chicken, and dragon meets Phoenix. The dragon meets Phoenix was shrimp with vegetables in a spivey Hunan sauce and general tso chicken. Everything was cooked well and great flavor.

Nate T.

Yelp
Unfortunately this wonderful place for Chinese food is destroyed. No longer good food. No crunchy hearty egg roll, no spicy general so, no fried rice like it used to be. New owner has destroyed everything. So long my old friend.
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
Best Chinese in Lexington. Chef trained in Hong Kong so Cantonese dishes are the gems. They have a special menu that is only written in Chinese but ask for recommendations to try. My absolute go to for Chinese cravings. New owners Jan 1....quality change. :(
google avatar

Ronny W.

Yelp
The food was decent and customer service was good, polite staff. However, the place is UNBEARABLY hot. Literally felt like a sauna. Not sure if the air conditioning was out that day..I get that the grills make the space hot but they should have air conditioning to make it comfortable for people eating and working in there. It was so unbearably hot and humid that I began sweating within minutes.

Jumana N.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious and the place is very clean.they serve alot on your plate but its price is amazing.btw I highly Recommend the sweet and sour chicken with the egg drop soup
google avatar

Josh C.

Yelp
The chicken is good and no problem with my food but my buddy got the pepper chicken and got more onions and peppers than chicken !

Keith R.

Yelp
I frequently stop here for lunch as it is close to my work. Never had bad food here. Fair prices, good lunch special portions. I love their general tso's tofu.
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
The best General Tso's chicken in town. It's not your typical chinese lunch place, as everything is made to order. However, it's not fancy...but is very tasty and is reasonably quick. I've been coming here for years, and even make an occasion trip across town to get the General Tso's chicken. For the price, you just can't beat this place for quality chinese food that's take out.
google avatar

Don S.

Yelp
Great inexpensive lunch spot in Beaumont. Had the Moo Goo Gai Pan and it was good and only $4.95! For take out Chinese food this place is good!
google avatar

Darin H.

Yelp
Cheap, quick...real easy lunch target. It's not high end Chinese food but it is not low end either.

Jeff L.

Yelp
First time visit and I just tried Lo Mein, House special. Very good, not too salty like other places. Tasted fresh with a good portion of meat. Price seemed fair for the quality. I will update on future visits.

Lee T.

Yelp
The lunch menu was posted on the wall. We arrived at 11:55 and were ordering from the posted lunch menu-well lit...looking up at the menu. The unfriendly girl asked small or large...nothing about lunch menu.....I assumed she was talking about a small or large order for lunch? The amount for lunch for 2 people seemed high...so I asked the ordering person how much lunch menu items were and she said $5.25. We got tea too so I didn't put two and two together. When we were served, we got one little bowl of rice between the two of us....we thought we were supposed to get extra rice and an eggroll...lunch menu inclusions. When asked, the girl responded that we got the items 'off' the lunch menu because we didn't specify lunch even though she saw me ordering off the posted lunch menu. She did not offer anything in return nor money back. I will never go to this place again....they cheat people and their food wasn't as good as their new decor
