Atlanta-Based New Realm Brewing Expands to Daniel Island, South Carolina - Eater Carolinas

"New Realm Brewing has recently opened its fourth location on Daniel Island in the former Dockery’s space. Known for craft beer, New Realm Brewing has also entered the distilling game bringing its own London dry gin, Tennessee Style bourbon, and vodka to the bar. With choices from Hazy Like a Fox IPA to the house liquor martini, New Realm wants to appeal to everyone on the island and pull in the downtown crowds. Culinary director/chef Grant MacPherson focuses on bringing a higher level of expectation to beer-world dining. Breweries are often known for pop-up rotating food trucks, New Realm looks to level up the beloved basics by adding twists like the Asian-style loaded fries and the Holy City grilled cheese. MacPherson uses local purveyors for the base ingredients including baked goods, cheeses, and seasonal vegetables. There’s options for all ages and dietary restrictions range from meat lover to vegan. Even the burger comes in options with the classic New Realm burger, the Beyondburger (vegan) and the wagyu burger. The large outdoor patio includes a bar for easy access to a second or third round of drinks. Big screen televisions around the indoor bar allow for game watching — cue Clemson orange and Gamecock crimson colors. At the front of the restaurant a larger stage sits for live local music. With the continued growth on Daniel Island, the expansive size of New Realm lends for an after work drink or an after hours work party." - Barbara Skidmore

Order Something ‘Sweet With a Little Heat’ at The Getaway - Eater Carolinas

"“You sometimes get the feeling Dockery’s highest purpose is to spare Daniel Island residents the hassle of driving to Applebee’s,” writes Post & Courier critic Hanna Raskin. Dockery’s menu full of “all of the classic American dishes that an eater would expect to find at a casual dining restaurant” mostly fails to impress Raskin, but she does rave for a few sentences about the rotisserie chicken." - Erin Perkins

We loved our experience at New Realm Brewery! First off, the space is huge with tons of room inside with a really open layout, so you’re never crammed in next to another table. The ambiance is very cool and laid-back, with a great vibe whether you’re sitting inside or enjoying the massive outdoor seating area. The food was outstanding, we ordered the double smash burger and shrimp tacos, and both were so full of flavor - shrimp tacos were probably the best I’ve ever had! They also have a huge beer selection, and honestly, you can’t go wrong no matter what you pick. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and made awesome recommendations. We can’t say enough good things about this place. We’ve already planned our next few trips back just to try more of the menu and beer list. If you haven’t been yet—go check it out!

Originally went for the Psychedelic Rabbit Fest, but it left much to be desired. Overhyped in the online description for sure, but the restaurant made up for that. Shout out to the DJ for trying to liven it up though! Took a while to get service, but our waiter, Adam, was great! He took the time to ask about our taste in drinks and customized recommendations, which were spot on. Nachos were decent, but missing something. They were also a little dry and the chicken could have used more seasoning. Smokehouse burger was delicious! Fries and Brussel sprouts were good as well. Fun atmosphere, but beware you may have to tune out a kid’s birthday party in the private room.

Thanks for hosting the First Annual Vibes for Vets Benefit Concert. My first time at your location and service was outstanding. No doubt you can tell your care about your community. Hope to come back soon. Your new vodka fan from North Carolina.

Google
This was quite the delightful experience. We went here for a business gathering and it was lovely. The food, the beer, and the atmosphere was absolutely prime. We first noticed this spot when we went to Credit One for a concert. It is always packed out and live music playing. Can't wait to go back and enjoy the full experience next month before a concert!

Overall: A great brewery in the heart of DI. The good: We went for a trivia night with our 1 year old, and the service was great (as was the trivia). We split the pretzel and fish and chips, and both were delicious. The pretzel was fresh, chewy, and salty while the fish was hot, tender, and had a very flavorful (yet light) breading. Plenty of seating both inside and out. And last but not least, the beer hit the spot. The not-so-good: The entire restaurant was freezing, the cheese that came with the pretzel was a miss (the mustard was great though), and the amount of fries that came with the fish and chips was a little small (especially given the price). Food/drink: 8/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Service: 9/10

Google
I'll be honest...we were not holding our breath for a great experience after reading some of the reviews. But wow, I'm so glad we gave New Realm a try! First off, our server Andy was top-notch fabulous...attentive and super personable!!! Nice selection of elevated bar fare. Our wings were hot and stayed crispy, even after tossed with the delish wing sauce (a requisite for me!). My Cuban was very tasty! The pork had a nice smoke and the bread was pressed to perfection. Hubs got the burger and said it was great. (He dove in before I could get a pic.) Andy also recommended a couple of great beers (nice and cold) from their extensive beer list. We will definitely go back!

Had such a great experience thanks to Shelby! She was incredibly nice, funny, and made our meal so enjoyable. Her energy was amazing, and she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find someone who can make you feel so welcome while also keeping things fun. Definitely coming back thanks to her!!

Yelp
This was the first time I have been inside for food since it switched from Dockeries. They did a fantastic job with decor and aesthetics of the place. The food was much better than the previous mention as well! I've been here during concerts for grub but the limited menu doesn't compare to the full thing! I'll be back again!!!

Yelp
For me, I thoroughly enjoy the wide selection of craft beers. My issue is the food. Ownership would be well-served to reimagine their menu and focus on basics such as a quality smash burger, Reuben, interesting salad's, onion rings, blanched fresh cut french fries, etc. I think the current food menu out kicks it coverage. Five stars for beer and spirts but two stars for food.

Yelp
Super friendly staff that even remembered my beer order from my past visit a few weeks ago! We love the pizza and burgers, and the vibes are fun especially in the summer with outdoor concerts on the patio! Highly recommend if you're visiting Daniel Island!

Yelp
My husband & I came for dinner for our second time and absolutely loved it, again. Food is so good. I had a juicy and crispy chicken sandwich that tops any i've ever had- so serious. He has tried both burgers and loved both. I had the fish sandwich last time and it was amazing too. Skillet cookie is a must!
google avatar

Annamaria B.

Yelp
This was such a great surprise since I've only experienced their limited menu on concert nights. The full menu has such a wide variety. We started with the buffalo chicken dip and it was amazing. The turkey sandwich had so many additions that made all the flavors pop. It was so good. The caesar salad another win with the fresh shaved parmesan. We went on a Friday around lunch time and the service was a tad slow. Maybe it was after the mad rush though. The food was very good and I will definitely be back to try some other items.

Yelp
First time at NRB and it met what I had in mind: ample seating, variety of brews on tap, cocktails galore, range of snacks and simple entrees. Our bartender inside the joint was attentive and helpful. I was feeling cocktaily so got a peachy edition which went down smooth. My bae tried a blackberry smoky beer that had a tang to it. Our order of fries was jazzed up to the Asian fries which included some green onion and sriracha. It can get pretty loud with regard to acoustics but overall great spot to meet either groups especially before concerts! Just a short walk to the Credit One Stadium

Yelp
Great beer, great food, great place for live music with a cool vibe! The customer service and New Realm burger was top notch. Came here to work an EPI event in November. I got to see great music from a local band called Alan Price and the Modern Day. Had a great time and looking forward to visiting again!

Yelp
Great spot on Daniel Island! This is an Atlanta brewery that now has locations in several places and it holds fairly true to the Atlanta original. Lots of easy parking behind the building and plenty of seating inside and outside. The staff are usually pretty good and friendly. They handle the big events the brewery hosts really well. Their brunch menu is small but the BLT with avocado is so so good. Lots of great beer as well as fun cocktails. Fairly family/kid friendly and lots of big tables for groups. It can get loud but nothing terrible.

Yelp
Great service, and I liked that they recommended some of the beers. I wish I would've known how much each 4oz pour of my flight was. I also wish I would've seen the actual bill to see if it was correct before I was charged. The crab dip was okay- a little peppery tasting. The pita was great, though. The Buffalo wings were pretty spicy, but had good taste and flavor. My friend got the buffalo chicken pizza and it was pretty good too, but she got it with minimal Buffalo sauce. I liked the vibe- typical brewery vibes, quite a few TVs. Large space.
google avatar

Kaitlin G.

Yelp
I love this brewery!!!! It is a really cool place with a chill atmosphere. There is outdoor seating with cool fireplace in the middle of the table spots and open living room style seating. Inside there is a bar, tall bar style table and booths. The service here is amazing. They offer an option to taste a splash of whatever beer you are thinking about before you order the larger sizes. They also offer flights with anywhere between 3-6 different beers. They come labeled so you know exactly what you have tried. And their beers are excellent!!! I had a smoky beer that I really liked. They have a good selection of whatever beer you are into. Our waitresses had a good knowledge of what types of beer were available and what they were like. My friends got a pizza that was quite good. I ordered the meatballs and grits. And as a girl raised in the south, I appreciate a good bowl of grits. These were quite possibly the best grits that I have ever had in a restaurant. And I loved the unique pairing of the grits with meatballs and spaghetti sauce. I would definitely get that again. The meatballs and grits were just an appetizer but it was enough for a meal for one person. I wish I had pictures, but I will go back for sure and take my camera with me.

Yelp
First time coming to this brewery before we went to a concert around the corner. Outside space is massive and they had a live band playing around happy hour. We only got drinks which we enjoyed and staff was friendly.

Ron S.

Yelp
Love this place! Will be a must stop every time through Charleston! We had a couple beers (both good beers) with appetizers. The Bavarian pretzel and nachos were both phenomenal! I had the New Realm burger and fries, and it was a really good burger. The Brussels sprouts were amazing. We also asked for a side of their hand made pickles, and were granted for an upcharge. A very good vibe, and our server was awesome! We didn't stay long enough for the music, but has a small stage outside.
google avatar

Patricio O.

Yelp
Very nice! Clean, extremely large, indoor and outdoor seating. Young, fun, very enjoyable staff. Really enjoyed the food. So delicious! Large portions. For appetizers we shared the crab dip - succulent, and the pretzel with delicious beer cheese - enormous! Some of us ordered salads which were quite big! Brick oven pepperoni pizza was a favorite, fish and chips, and grilled cheese sandwich with bacon. Everyone was happy. We shared the peach bread pudding, with ice cream. Was unbelievably good!! Lina, our waitress, was a lot of fun! We will ask for her in the future. The young lady making the hand tossed pizzas was very sweet! And very serious about her work! After dinner we sat outside near the giant live oak, talking and enjoying the Daniel Island ambiance.

Ruth M.

Yelp
Our waiter was awesome. Helped us pick beers and apps. Wings and nachos were good. Very large selection of beers - didn't find a bad one. Place is large and can handle a crowd.
google avatar

Erin H.

Yelp
I know this is a brewery but I'm more of a cider girl (gluten isn't my biggest friend). Their cider was outstanding- not sweet a little sour on the back end and I tasted the pineapple in the finish. Had the fries with Korean pork starter - it was so good!!! Not a huge portion but fine for 2 to share as a nibble. If the cider was excellent I'm sure their beer is probably amazing. Ps... sat at the bar service was quick and the bartenders were very personable.

Yelp
So... No Chardonnay on a Sunday night on Memorial Day weekend? Bit of a planning, buying issue. I know they're a brewery, but...
google avatar

Ken M.

Yelp
The only item eaten was the She Crab Soup $10.99 ! What bothers me is the sneaky service charge of 3%. Principle dictates I never go back. This was in addition to the tip. To many places to eat.
google avatar

Sarah Mackenzie S.

Yelp
Soooooooooooo good. Cannot recommend the fried chicken sandwich enough. Definitely has a kick to it, so if you don't like spicy, order with caution. I order the sauce it came with on the side and spicy Mayo to put in it. Definitely recommend. Will 1000% be coming back. Also with HH, they do flights of their beers, definitely recommend to come during this time as well if you are trying to broaden your craft beer tastebuds.
google avatar

Dan K.

Yelp
Very good food and beer. The experience is consistent and we have been there four times and every time we try something else and it's great. Service is also prompt.
google avatar

Young K.

Yelp
Asian-Styled Loaded Fries :) They didn't lie about the "loaded" part because every single fry was covered in something, and I really appreciated that. It's always the worst when you get a bowl of nachos or something like that, and the bottom is just plain with all the toppings gone. These fries didn't disappoint at all. If you don't like spicy stuff, ask for a little less sriracha, but I loved how they smothered that on there with mayo. I would definitely come here for these fries again. Although it was a Tuesday night, the restaurant was very kind to allow a group of 12 people to sit in their restaurant with no reservation, and service was great! Overall, 9.3 out of 10!

Yelp
After walking 18 holes through sporadic showers, we made our way down to Daniel Island's New Realm Brewing because it's right by my teammate's condo. New Realm Brewing is HUGE, modern, and has a Chicago suburb(an) kind of feel. While NRB may look like a big city chain, they do a LOT of mom and pop things right. We were greeted by a few employees on our way in and chose to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful evening. Griffith, our smiling server, was friendly, warm, and made zero mistakes. It's been over a year since we've experienced such great tableside customer service...with a smile. We appreciate both Griffith and NRB's management for putting customer's first. The servers could have easily phoned it in because it was a slow night and they wouldn't earn as much. Instead, the staff was highly personable, from the bartender to the hostess, to Griffith, to even the food runner. Price point is what you'd expect for bar food in Charleston. $70 for some wings, (New Realm) burgers, and a beer. Portions are small, but quality AND presentation are high. We like places like New Realm because they check every "experience" box (versus most restaurants that run hot/cold depending on the night).
google avatar

Meg C.

Yelp
Experience was just ok. It's fairly nice for families with kids as there is lots of room to run and play. But it's not my kind of interior/exterior. Very modern outside. The comfiest place was the Adirondack chairs. But bring bug spray! The bartender outside was horrible. Nice for sure but slow as all get out. Everyone complained who came up for the 1.5 hours we were there. We were in the middle of our order, wanting food and she went to take someone else's order. At one point people just went inside. We tried but our tab was only outside and the hostesses didn't have a clue if we could transfer inside. No I won't be back. Yikes. Too many other better breweries in the area.

Yelp
I always have high hopes for this local icon but find each visit is just below my expectation level. Today we tried the new Sunday Gospel Brunch. Even though I requested a booth on our reservation request, we were taken to a regular table and so had to head back to the hostess stand to correct that. The new table was good except the booth seats were way too low with the table coming in at boob level. Ugh. The Bright Singers were belting it out and we worried about the sound level but it was a little more reasonable at the new booth location, just a little farther from the stage and difficult to see the musicians. Slow service for our drink orders and when she finally delivered my Bloody Mary, she still had to go back for the glass of water my husband ordered. Now this has to be the plainest Bloody Mary presentation I have ever seen without even a stalk of celery or picked okra. It was tasty though. Three featured dishes on the Brunch menu so I tried the Eggs Benedict. It came served on rye toast and I asked could I have another bread. Nope. Only option. She asked if I wanted it without the rye bread and I said no I will take the rye. Of course, it arrived with no bread to soak up the runny egg, but I ate it anyway. Tasty but could have been so much better with an English muffin or sourdough toast. Again, presentation could have used a few sprigs of parsley or something. Oh well. Slow service again for food and waitress finally stopped by to say our food was almost ready right before it arrived. Just enjoy the music, Kathy...Oh Happy Day!!! "Can I get you anything else?" No. If you aren't excited to tell us about your yummy desserts we won't ask. So, I will be back for a drink on the outdoor patio but my expectations for wanting this to be a goto place for casual dining, just ain't gonna happen. And it really would only take a few minor tweaks.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
Great food and drinks. I had a burger and fries. The burger was juicy and the fries were crispy outside and soft inside which for me is perfect. I had the gin and tonic with their gin which I was hesitant about but it was a very good gin. The large outdoor seating area has plenty of space and the couches are perfect for hanging out. The only downside is that if you aren't sitting at the bar or at the tables outside that you have to place the order yourself the bar. Not a dealbreaker for me but it would be great if the servers would cover the entire outdoor area.
google avatar

Carly L.

Yelp
Second visit in one day! Came for some beers and pizza/salad for lunch. Asked them to make a bbq pizza for us, off menu, wasn't busy so kitchen agreed, it was amazing! Also had a margarita pizza which was probably the favorite, and a greens salad with shrimp. Service was great (ask for Dalton!) Came back after a walk on the island for some more beers and football. Bartenders kinda sucked, but again our server Dalton and the manager Kate really made up for it! Definitely would recommend this place!
google avatar

Arian M.

Yelp
First the positives. It is a large, beautiful space. Very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The waiter was amazing. Very attentive and polite. Food came out quick. The Cabernet I had was very tasty (jawbreaker I think it was called) Negative. With the exception of the pretzel the food was not good at all. The shishito peppers were very large but zero kick. A bit too sweet. The meatballs we beyond dry and tasted like something I could get from Trader Joe's frozen section. I couldn't even finish half of one. The band was way too loud which forced me to to scream across the table to my boyfriend and I had to pretend to hear half of what he said back. Lastly, we sat at a booth and I must say the seats were so bad I back still hurts from sitting there this evening. The seats were so worn out that my boyfriend had to lean against the side of the wood instead of the back of the booth. We finished our drinks VERY quickly because our backs were both on fire. A sore back and not happy belly we're not worth $107 plus tip at all. I wanted to love it here since I can walk from my apartment but unfortunately I won't be back.
google avatar

Yelp
New Realm Brewing on Daniel Island is a must-visit for anyone who loves craft beer and delicious food. Their wood-fired pizzas are fantastic, especially the Margherita and Buffalo Chicken, perfectly complementing their impressive beer lineup. From the Pilot Baltic Porter to their hand-crafted vodkas and tequilas, there's something for every taste. The vibrant atmosphere and passionate staff add to the exceptional experience. Highly recommend for a memorable outing!
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
This place is so great! The food is so much better than most breweries' food options and includes a full menu. The drinks are also great with a nice selection for even people who aren't fans of beer. The outside seems great to hangout even in the colder months since it has fire pits and heaters outside. Definitely plan on coming here more often!
google avatar

Krystal G.

Yelp
Nice place, very big and lots of options for any type of event or casual hang out. Nice outdoor area, friendly Staff. Different menu options depending on the time of day. The food and drinks we got were very good! Would definitely go here again!
google avatar

Jeff A.

Yelp
Remains disappointing. Wife and daughter continue to expect better food and service. The server stepped in to save the day. They continue to over tip for average food and average service. It will only get better if you share honesty feedback.
google avatar

Danielle P.

Yelp
First time for us! We live in Summerville and have been wanting to try New Realm. We made reservations online for Saturday evening. Our table was ready when we arrived. To my surprise, it wasn't busy. Right away I ordered a beer and went with the Tropic Dreams. It was fruity, light, and refreshing! It's a good one! We opted for the pretzel and the crab dip for appetizers. The pretzel was so good! It was light and crisp and just the right amount of salt! Definitely would order that again! The crab dip was good but it was a small portion for the table of five. I ordered the smoked turkey sandwich with fries. The fries were really good! The right amount of crisp! Try the key lime beer if you like sours! I loved the ambience and atmosphere here! It has an amazing outdoor area as well along with a bar. The menu was a little small as far as options in my options for food. Overall though, I would definitely check this place out!
google avatar

Courtney J.

Yelp
The food is beyond top notch! The bar staff was attentive and knowledgeable regarding all of the beers and spirits they brew! We sat inside at the bar but can't wait to come back and sit outside - the whole space has something for everyone!
google avatar

Alex F.

Yelp
A great selection of beers and creative takes on pub food. The service is great and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is a good amount of tables inside but if the weather is nice, ask for a table outside. Just be aware that some folks might have the Sun in their eyes as the sun sets.
google avatar

Richard L.

Yelp
After a long day walking around Savannah we stumbled into New realm , home distilled liquor, food great and Roxana was the best, friendliest server of the day Will be back, food was great as well
google avatar

Michael O.

Yelp
The place is really great for hanging out and kicking back. The food was good with a great variety. Service was excellent. Definitely a place to visit often.
google avatar

Heather S.

Yelp
stopped in before a concert at credit one stadium. we were seated right away, but they informed us that they were on a limited menu due to the concert. ordered a round of beers, which were pretty good. atmosphere was great, live music on the outside. i was a little disappointed i couldn't order fish and chips, but the food i ordered was still great. asian fries were very different, but still delicious. i'd probably stop by again before another concert
google avatar

Kelly T.

Yelp
Outstanding customer service! Family friendly, and delicious food and drinks as well, but can't say enough about the customer service at Realm. Definitely visit when you are on Daniel Island!
google avatar

Steve G.

Yelp
I left an earlier review of New Realm which was also 5 Stars. I'm writing a second review because last evening we held our annual Pickleball group party plus a surprise birthday party for one of our members there. In total we had 55 guests and from the food to the service New Realm provided us with a blockbuster evening. Everything was perfect. A special thank you to Reed without whom we couldn't have achieved this remarkable evening. She had everything done for us and basically all we had to do was just show up. New Realm is lucky to have someone like her handling all their events. In closing I would highly recommend to any individual, group, organization or corporation New Realm be the venue for your next event you won't be disappointed . Thank you to everyone at Nee Realm who made this such a special evening.

Bill Z.

Yelp
This business fails to understand the needs of their customers. Outside of the unkept dining room, inconsistent staff, lack of management oversight, and mediocre food, New Realm fails to deliver on its overall vision, of community, great food, great music, and cold beers. I've given this place a myriad of chances, however, tonight was my last; yet another night of warm beers, struggling to find a clean table, frozen fries, and lackluster bartender Nate. I wish I liked this place, however the team at New Realm has never given me a single reason to. Try Orlando's instead!
google avatar

Daniela Z.

Yelp
I forgot to post a review when I was here a couple months ago! This is an awesome spot. First off, they have a great selection of draught beers; second off, if you're not into beer like a couple of friends in our group, they've got a fully stocked bar and the cocktails are GOOD! Legit muddled cocktails, not the pre mixed stuff, and it actually made it hard for me to decide if I wanted to stick to trying out new brews or trying out some of the delicious looking cocktails! The food menu is great too -- I love when breweries put a unique spin on bar food. They've got a fully stocked menu with shareable appetizers but also entrees. And the space is huge! Ample seating both indoors and outdoors. We sat outside with the cool fireplace thing in the middle of our table and got to enjoy the Friday night band. I'll for sure be coming back!
google avatar

Barbara W.

Yelp
We sat at the bar (slow time so most customers were at the bar). Ordered drinks and water. Never got our water. Glassware (beer and wine) were filthy with water spots. Bar staff congregated together chatting, away from customers, and we eventually had to get up and chase down our bill, after our drinks sat empty for 15 minutes with no offer of a refill. With so many good breweries in the area, I'll pass on returning here.
google avatar

Rachyl D.

Yelp
Honesty I would have given 3 stars but the service was excellent which is important to me! The outside space is cool, especially when there is live music so that's a plus, but that's where it ends for me. The food isn't great and the beers are okay, but not anything memorable. They also only serve their own spirits which don't include a tequila at this time - just a heads up! Over all I would come back when I wanted a quick drink outside that is close to home, but it wouldn't be on my list of recommendations for much else.

David Q.

Yelp
First time here and will not be our last. They spared no expense setting up this place. The level of detail in finishes is truly great. Service was outstanding and servers were so nice. We came with our 2 year old and it this place has a great set up for families. It has a large outdoor space, and the inside has 2 big areas set up; it truly is a good mix for families, singles, after work drinks, and everything in between. The food is fantastic! When I see a chicken on a menu I order it to see how good it is because it is hard to do right. The beer can chicken and side of Brussels was unbelievable. We cannot wait until we come back again.
google avatar

Clay J.

Yelp
When this place was called Dockery's it was so inconsistent I was too scared to go. Now I probably go with my family once a week. It's just super convenient, the service is good, and the kids have a place to play outside with met-friends while my wife and I have a conversation. The service is always good. They seem to always have enough people working there, and my good comes out quickly and well prepared. I like the burgers (but wish, as always, that I got a few more fries with them), I like the Buffalo Chicken pizza, and I like the fish and chips. I've recently also developed a liking for the blackened fish sandwich. My kids enjoy their chicken fingers and kids pizza as well. They're accommodating to my very finicky eater kids, too. There's always plenty of space. I tend to not enjoy the live music inside when it's cold out, but that's because I'm old I guess, and I still want those kids to get off my lawn. And music was bett--- oh no. What have I become. Anyway, if you have a premeditated resentment against this place because of how it used to be, it's now time to give it another chance.

Yelp
Today was my first time coming here and I live not even 10 minutes away! Boy have I been missing out. I am a very picky eater especially when it comes to burgers. I am a Long Island native and I am not too fond of the food the south has to offer. But, holy burger! I may have found a spot in my home away from home. From the moment you walk in you are met with a beautiful and calm atmosphere and friendly staff! I didn't feel overwhelmed or underwhelmed I just felt calm. As I was admiring everything around me I noticed the kitchen to the left of me and how cool it was to watch the master chef in action! I had to drink a Tropical Dream beer and it was delicious! OH, I even got to taste test before committing to a beer! For my food if you couldn't tell by now it was a burger. But not just any burger, it was a Wagyu Burger! It was juicy and big and so many amazing flavors bursting with each bite I took! I even ate tomato and I don't like tomato! But without that tomato flavor wouldn't have been so bold and delicious! I could go on and on! After my magical meal, I had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager Frankie. He was kind, funny, and overall very welcoming. I can't wait to return and enjoy great food and good company!

Yelp
Firmly meh. Beers are fine, but nothing spectacular, which we were expecting given the head brewer's pedigree (from Stone Brewing). We tried a couple of IPAs (all were good), a German Pilsner which was more like a Belgian beer (?), and a stout (best choice). We enjoyed the beers, but decided to go down the road to a local place to get our drink on with tastier options. Food was spectacularly adequate. We had fish & chips (SO greasy you could barely taste the fish), a side salad (over the top vinegar), bbq shrimp tacos (prob the best thing we had, but just not great), fries (from frozen, generic) and Mac n cheese (kind of liquidy but pretty decent flavor). Local breweries in the area have way better beers and the ones with kitchens have better food. Given the gorgeous space and potential for excellence, we assumed there would be a comparable investment in the actual products. Not so much. It took a looong time to get a server to acknowledge us (it was not at all busy) and then their attention to us was off and on. I doubt we'll be back any time soon. We had such high hopes. Boo.

Yelp
The food here was fine. I am not a big beer drinker, but I liked their sour that I got. It's also cool that they offer their own seltzer. We ordered a pretzel, which was good. I split it with my friend and her boyfriend. We sat outdoors and it's a nice environment to sit outside, enjoy the breeze, and watch the sunset. I'm giving New Realm Brewing 3 stars due to our service. Our server announced she had the worst hangover when she greeted us at our table and kept forgetting our food and drinks. We would see her approach our table, realize we were waiting, then turn around. She also slurred her words a few times. It took maybe 10-15 minutes for our drinks alone. I ordered a Cuban sandwich and I can't tell you how it was because when I got it, it was obvious it had be sitting out. The bread was soggy and the melted cheese had hardened. I tried to eat it but it was gross. I sent it back. After waiting 15-20 minutes once we had our drinks, our food finally came. We did see our server approach then turn around a few times, while we were waiting. I ended up having some of my friend's pizza, which was decent. Overall, the food I had and the drinks were decent. The space is beautiful and inside is tidy. The service was terrible.
