Delicious food and reasonable price! A huge portions for nearly every dish. The fried chicken is unique and worth it. We’ve tried pho, Pad Thai, chef rice dish and noodles, none of them let us down. Only thing is it can be too warm inside for eating a noodle soup when it’s a hot day. Overall, highly recommended

Delicious food and excellent service! We had the fresh spring rolls, chicken pho, salted fish fried rice, special combination beef pho, and vermicelli bowl with grilled pork, as well as Thai tea and limeade (somehow our wonderful server memorized that entire order perfectly!). Every single dish and drink was delicious, generously portioned, and very flavorful. I appreciate the veggies included in the pho! Great casual eatery and reasonable pricing

I had many pho before, but this could be the best one for a long time. Huge portion, clear and tasty soup, a lot of vegetables. If you have not tried the fried chicken Pho, you need to. The service is really good as well. It seems like a neighborhood restaurant so not too fancy. Very close to BOS airport.

No bahn mí back home in Toledo, so we had to stop here. Everything was so flavorful! Best pho we’ve had since Vietnam. 😍

I stumbled across this place while looking for another restaurant and thought I’d give it a try. I started with the fresh spring rolls with chicken (wrapped in rice paper). They were pretty good. I tried the grilled chicken and vegetables pho. They offer it in large and extra large. I did the large. I ate all I could and I’ve still got more than half to take home. Definitely large portions. Overall, I think this place is pretty good. Nothing negative to say. I’ll come back next time I’m in town.

Recently visited with my wife and we have ok experiences. Service was good but I couldn’t say same for the overall environment. There were two pots at the window which seems to be a breeding ground for mosquitoes. I had so many mosquitoes bite by the end of the day.

This is one of the best places around. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and you can tell the food is made with care. I highly recommend the spring rolls and vegetable pho—they’re always great.

New Saigon not only serves the best phố, it's also the most GENEROUS portion around. And I only got the large (there's an XL!). I know I'm lame for getting crab rangoons but the kicker was finding out they have chunks of REAL crab meat. Amazing. The service is incredible and the waitress is always a delight. I enjoyed my dinner alone but there's a lot of seating, invite your friends & family to this gem of a restaurant!

Oh my goodness me heavily Pho New Saigon is a must-visit if you love authentic Vietnamese food. Love local small places like this where it simply oozes authenticity. Nothing fancy, and yet everything is nothing short of outstanding. You just can't go wrong with that. The food is insanely fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The pho is rich and aromatic with perfectly cooked noodles and tender meats, and the portions are generous. Exactly what you want when you have that undeniable craving for Pho. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it an incredible value. Whether you're a local or just passing through East Boston, New Saigon is the kind of place you'll want to come back to again and again. Highly recommended!

Service was helpful and quick, food and ingredients all very fresh. Could use better vegan options because the tofu spring roll and tofu banh mi is just basic fried tofu wrapped in rice paper or banh mi bread. I still very much enjoyed the freshness of all the food and appreciate that the restaurant accommodated my request for Lemongrass Tofu Vermicelli. Overall if I was in the area I would visit again and maybe try the Vegan Pho. Vibes is a no frills vietnamese fast casual with sriracha and hoisin sauce on every table. I appreciate that they provide silver forks instead of plastic.

I enjoy this restaurant very much! I always get pho here but today was feeling some rice & pork chops! They also offer Viet sandwiches also delicious & iced coffees!!!! Service always friendly :)

Pleasant surprised with this place, would definitely go again! I've never been to this area of East Boston, but we found it easy to find parking and make our way inside. The space has a decent amount of seats and when we got in, we were one of a few parties so it wasn't too busy. Service was relatively efficient, not overly friendly but with a place like this, that was fine. Portions were large and the food was solid in taste. Good broth, lots of meat, lots of noodles. For pho, it was great. A tiny bit more expensive than I would've liked, but overall we had a great meal and I wouldn't mind coming back.

Look I don't expect this place to be spotless clean, but after my most recent visit I am so grossed out I cannot get myself to return. My initial experience went great. But the 2nd time I went to the back where the restrooms are and that's when I was in shock. To my left I looked and saw the kitchen, there was a big container of spices just sitting on the floor. Next to the tables in the back there was a bunch of junk built up in front of a door that had string tied around the knobs to keep it closed. Amongst one of those things was a dirty vacuum. There were people eating by this garbage built up, I was disgusted. This is genuinely not ok. I felt like my health was at risk and I'm not even being dramatic. Bathrooms are gross. I honestly went back to my table and didn't want to finish my food which sucks bc the food is good but after seeing the hygiene of the place, I will not be returning nor doordashing again

Awesome Vietnamese spot in Orient Heights. I wanted to mix it up from the usual pizza. Banh mi is pretty reasonably priced, drink variety was acceptable.

Went here for the first time in July and tried their vermicelli bowl and egg rolls. So I had to come back to try their pho soup. It did not disappoint. I got #28 pho with steak and well done flank. The bowl was huge and they were generous on the amount of meat in it. The soup came out very hot which is important to me and it also had a lot of noodles. There were too much for me that I had to take some noodles out because I did not want the noodles to absorb all the soup. The flavor of the pho was good and I like that they put a good amount of green onions and cilantro in the soup. Fried egg rolls were also good. I came around 11:45am and service was good and attentive. There were a lot of take out orders and two other customers in the restaurant. Ambiance was nice and the restaurant was clean. Overall, great place for Vietnamese. Highly recommend.

Food is very good, authentic Vietnamese food, but takes to long after you order... looks like they focus on orders to go... not sitting customers.... If they fix that then it is 5 stars...

10/10 recommend. Service on point and the food was delicious. I almost ate the plates. For you picky eaters out there. Grilled chicken pho, add beef broth, no veggies but add scallion and cilantro. Thank me later. Wish I could put 10 stars !!!!!!!!!!

This place is fabulous . I got POrk fried rice and Gen Tao chicken to go . Wtf I can't explain it, it was the best I've ever had . Ps I've prob ate thousands of chickens and this was by far the best. I ate all of it (enough for 3) in my Archie chair while watching Alaska shows on tv . Best day off ever. LDL up and so are both my fat thumbs...

Highly recommended! After the New England road trip, we wanted to have a bowl of Pho. The New Saigon restaurant has simple ambiance but spacious with excellent service. The Pho broth was rich in authentic flavor and accompanied with fresh basil and bean sprout. The assortment of beef meat was tender and the bowl portion was quite large . Parking was a challenge; however, we found the public bay beach parking around the corner and walked less than 5' to the restaurant. We will definitely revisit if back in the area.

Delivery of the food was an absolute miss. The delivery person did not call or text their arrival. They simply left the food unattended in a hotel lobby. Mind you the Yelp app estimated delivery between 8:46 and 9:06. I happened to go to the lobby at 8:55 and discover the food on a bench. The order was accurate and I did eat the Bon Bo Hue, ingredients were fresh and tasty. Also ordered were beef satays, 2 pieces for $10. No value at all on the satays. I just wouldn't trust GrubHub on the delivery or the satays again. The Spicy Beef soup was good.

Placed order via Doordash. If you have the time, it will probably be less expensive to dine-in. Surcharge placed on original order which brought our order of approximately $13 an entree to about $18 per entree. (Quite steep for Vietnamese takeout but understandable for having order picked up and delivered to us at our hotel.) Portions were very generous and food was quite warm when it got to us. (Considering it was in the mid-20s at time of pickup) We would definitely return again if in the area. Thank you for a lovely dinner!

Casual restaurant. Menu selection is incredible. It's a mix of Vietnamese and Chinese food. The rice plate tastes more like Chinese food. The vermicelli bowls are very good, just like the one I usually eat in the Bay Area Ca. Happy to find this business. Service is a bit slow, short staff but friendly

I live much closer to Saigon Hut, which is pretty OK, but upon the advice of someone in my run club, we traversed from Eagle Hill to Orient Heights to try the further away Vietnamese place with the word Saigon in its name, New Saigon. Ok wait this place is so good!! The two are not related, it appears NS used to be located where SH is now, but it moved to a New place, hence the name. Anyway! It's a pretty cute, unfussy, typical-looking restaurant. The service was great, attentive but not overbearing. The menu itself is, again, pretty standard -- I got a vermicelli bowl, I think my husband got a rice bowl, we split some spring rolls and dumplings. But I really feel like somehow the sum is greater than its parts. Every ingredient/component of every thing we ate was just... delicious! Super fresh, perfectly seasoned, cooked exactly right... things you (or at least I) don't really notice when you're eating meat veggies and a starch mixed together in a bowl... but when it's done perfectly, it makes such the difference! Affordable, quick, friendly, delicious-- definitely worth the "trek" across Eastie to eat again!!

Had some takeout pho. It came out quick (like it should) & was tasty. The noodles were a bit overdone & the tendon were smaller pieces than usual. Was passing through, but would go there again. The inside was decent enough to stay there as well.

Super authentic and tasty for the price and not having to drive all the way to Randolph, dorchester or Lowell.

Finally stopped in after living around the corner for years! I got the vegetable pho with tofu, and it was so fresh and delicious. Came out super fast. So many fresh veggies!

On a Friday evening, while I was exercising at the gym of the hotel my husband and I was staying at (yes I like to stay healthy and physical active even on vacation), my husband decided to stop by New Saigon to pick up some dinner for the two of us. He ended up ordering to go the following: Two orders of Goi Cuon (chicken and shrimp spring rolls)- Rarely have I ever seen chicken and shrimp spring rolls on the menu at a Vietnamese restaurant because it is always made with pork and shrimp. My husband thought the same and decided to order this for me because I prefer chicken over pork in general. I liked these spring rolls and found them to be filling. Spring rolls are my must to order item whenever I go to a Vietnamese restaurant. I liked the peanut sauce that was served on the side. Bun Ga Nuong Cha Gio (Chicken Vermicelli Bowl)- this entrée was a large portion and perfect for sharing for 2. I only had a small amount since I ate all the spring rolls (lol) and my husband ate the rest. I enjoyed this meal but it was a little bit of a challenge to mix the noodles, salad and sauce in the styrofoam container. I kind of wished I had a large bowl instead. ------------------------ (Total= $23.35 after tax) Our dinner was delicious and if I lived in this area, I would definitely be a regular.

Appreciate that the vegetables were fresh but the broth for the seafood pho is nonexistent of flavor... its water with add ins~ not a real broth .... It was disappointing, but the basil was abundant & added the hot sauce so it was okay & felt blandly healthy. Nice people but not attentive service. Im sure the other options of chicken or beef for pho must be more flavorful ... im from out of town so it was a high hope for it to be super delicious, but id say they're using good ingredients, but could really improve the full flavor& overall cleanliness & presentation in the restaurant- it cld be better & they'd do better business.

Came here for some much needed pho. We arrived about when they opened so there were plenty of seats to pick from. As expected, COVID vaccination status is checked upon entry. My party of 3 shared the crispy duck and each had an order of pho. We were anticipating a Peking duck style dish but got a slightly crispy duck covered in a decadent curry sauce. It tasted great along with all the chopped vegetables even though it wasn't what we were expecting, a pleasant surprise I suppose. I was satisfied with the quality of the pho, especially because it saved me the drive of going all the way to Dorchester. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Would love to come again and try more of their menu as I was happy with my experience.

I am from northern virginia where Pho 75 reigns. This is pretty good. Their chicken pho is excellent and flavorful, full with nice vegetables and savory dark meat for the chicken. Service was polite but didn't get refills or service once the meal was served. Would highly recommend if you're staying near the airport. Walking distance from the Courtyard Marriott and Hilton Garden Inn.

This was so delicious!! I drive by everyday and was also so skeptical because it's a little hole in the wall, but the ads on the windows looked so fresh, so I gave it a try. Such good spring rolls, and bahn mi sandwich wow. Very fresh ingredients.

Stopped in for lunch and the food was fast and so tasty! Beef pho and chicken lo mien both 5 star. Would come back anytime we are in town.

Amazing restaurant with a lovely selection of food. Very clean overall and the staff is nice! This place is great for a date, family outing, or a quick meal! It is a family own style restaurant which is rare these days. I've been to many asian restaurants in Boston and this is a local gem that I highly recommend

We come here whenever we ate in the area. Good food, well priced and usually good service. I will mentioned that the last time we were there, our waitress was surly and mostly absent . We had to go to the desk to ask for dessert. When the waitress showed up with the dessert, she seemed annoyed when i asked if she could clear our dinner plates. We always treat waitstaff with courtesy and respect, wish we had gotten the same.

Ordered the Fried Egg Rolls, Crab Rangoons, and XL Pho. Delicious. Dine-In. The Egg Rolls came out freshly hot, with a sauce, and were very good. The Rangoons are a must, they don't hold back on the crab filling and the sauce was also very tasty. Next was the ridiculously xl portion of the Pho. A challenge in itself, I could only finish half, and to take the rest to go. Tasty broth and very fresh. They also provide Siracha and a dark sauce on the table if you wanted to add them in. Friendly service as well. They do close at 9pm, so arrive early and hungry!

I was excited to receive the Salmon in Black Bean Sauce that I ordered. Unfortunately, every time that I ordered the dish the salmon is overcooked even after providing instructions for the order. The photo of the item for order in the menu is of a delicious piece of medium rare salmon with bean sauce. I received cubed salmon covered in batter, dried and overcooked. I would recommend you not to order the dish if you do not appreciate overcooked salmon.

if you're looking for some remotely decent beef pho, don't come here. i was very disappointed with my beef pho it had ZERO flavor. the spring rolls and lemongrass beef was good. the place has plenty of seating. the server was not kind when taking my order but the food came out in a timely fashion. this is the first and last time i will be going here.

Unassuming hole in the wall provides flavor explosions. We're visiting family from out of town and had Saturday to ourselves. After a lot of back and forth, we decided on this restaurant because they had one of my picky 7 year old's safe foods. The grilled chicken spring rolls were great! There's a lot of different textures, some herbs, and the peanut sauce was mild enough for the picky eater, but interesting enough for the rest of us. Wonton soup was fresh and green, the wrappers very delicate. The flat noodles with their garlicky sauce was the hit of the night!

I tried the extra large pho bo (beef) with everything, less noodle so that I can get more broth. Good call. The broth is amazingly harmonious and restrained. Suck down a few spoonfuls rapidly and you begin to crave more. The raft of rare flank is so tasty and thinly sliced you only need to pick up a sheet and dunk it in the hot broth to cook it more. The flank floats on the fully cooked brisket, and other cuts of tendon, and tripe. The plate of mung bean sprouts, jalapeno, lime wedges, basil and mint was crunchy and fresh. Hot tea is served free. This pho is on par on being some of the best examples found in North America I've had.

The pho is absolutely to die for! So good I made an account just to make a review. I used to come here all the time and recently moved back to East Boston and it satisfied the craving in every single way. You must come here you won't be disappointed. The banh mis are super good too

Fantastic service, fast and fresh food, huge menu and daily specials. Very affordable. We had the bahn mi, seafood crepe, and eggrolls (fried spring rolls). Everyone was eating pho, which I may go back for soon!

I'm a born-and-raised Vietnamese person who's been living in the East Boston area for 3 years and honestly, I'm so glad New Saigon exists. This place has been fixing my cravings for Viet food for years and helped me not have to travel for 40 mins on a subway to Dorchester (where the real Viet food experience is). I eat here at least once every 2 weeks, and I've tried several dishes over the past few years, but my tried and true order will always be Phở Tái Gầu (Pho with rare meat and fatty brisket) and Bánh Mì Thịt Nướng (Banh mi with grilled beef). The Phở Tái Gầu is always a treat, the portions are filling and the flavors can rival the more famous Pho stores in Boston (Pho Pasteur, Pho Le etc.). The fatty brisket can be a hit-or-miss, some days it won't be as fatty as I'd like but if you're not a fan of fat anyways it's no big deal. My gripe with this place is that the Pho noodles they use aren't authentic (they use thin square-ish noodles while authentic noodles are flat and big) but that's the case with every Pho place in Boston anyway. The Bánh Mì Thịt Nướng (you can choose from pork , beef or chicken - I usually go for beef) is also quite tasty and fine for the price. I just wish they'd have more protein variety (cold cuts, pate etc.) to make it even more authentic but it's hard to go wrong with grilled meat. The other dishes I've tried from them have also been tasty, despite being much less authentic than the Pho and Banh Mi. If there's one thing I don't really recommend, it's the Bún Bò Huế (Hue-style Spicy Beef Noodle Soup). It doesn't taste bad, per se, but it really falls flat for me. The smell is divine, but the taste just doesn't cut it in terms of umami and richness. I'd rather spend the $13 on an extra large Pho bowl lol Overall, I really do love this place. Not only is the food tasty, but the employees are also very nice (fun fact: all of the employees I've interacted with have been Vietnamese). If you're ever in the area and craving some good Vietnamese food, or good food in general, maybe consider giving this place a try :)

Deeply satisfying Vietnamese food in a comfortable, low-key environment. Waiter was highly personable. Pho is a large portion with good broth, served in a standard way. It is not the best I've ever had but it's quite good - better than any available in Boston proper.

Great service. Crispy spring rolls were delicate and delicious. Pho #34 (with all the works) was perfect on a frigid night. Probably the most generous bowl I've ever had in terms of portion size.

So I've became sort of a regular costumer here, I love this establishment. The staff is all friendly and always welcoming, I think it's a family own place. The food always comes out fast and it's most definitely hot, there's times when the food lacks a bit of flavor but 4 times out of 5 it'll be amazingly seasoned. I come here 2-3 times a week. I'll definitely miss it when I go back home.

Really yummy banh-mi, spring rolls, and stir-fried Veg. Ordered delivery, they forgot a couple sandwiches. Dinged one star for that, but will try again.

Cheap ample portions. Food is pretty good. Nice amount of tendon in the pho. The music cham sauce in the bun needs more fish sauce and something acidic They have no ventilation so there is a haze of smoke in the restaurant and a smell of propane or some other fuel. They could use a refresh on the paint, flooring.

East Boston is a longer trek for me so I usually stop here when I am in the area. I've been here a few times. I really enjoy the pho here - the broth is flavorful and has a lot of depth. I'm not sure why other reviewers say the broth is strange because the flavor profiles in this pho are authentic and remind me of my childhood. My boyfriend ordered an extra large bowl of pho and I appreciate how his pho came in a larger bowl. Most places give you the same size bowl and just add extra noodles but this place gives you both more broth and noodles with a larger bowl. After leaving, my boyfriend agreed that this place has really good broth but that he prefers our usual pho restaurant because the brisket here is not as tender and is of lesser quality. With that said, I don't really have any complaints for the meats in my pho dac biet and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and my durian smoothie. Just a heads up - The service here is not the best. There is usually only one person covering the front end (waiting on tables, taking payment of the takeout orders, and making drinks). When I go out to dine, I usually expect to be offered water but here it is something that you have to ask for. Also, another gripe that I have is the menu pricing is not up-to-date, lacks transparency, and I suspect overcharging. My order came out to $32 but the breakdown of the menu prices of the items that I ordered were $9.95 (dac biet), $10.95 (XL pho), and $4.50 (durian smoothie). Adding up those prices and including tax, the total should have only been around $27. The bill only specified the total charge and does not include price breakdowns. When asked about it, she said the pho dac biet is an extra charge and the prices were actually $11, $12, and $5, respectively and the tax. However, this breakdown still doesn't add up. I just wish there was more transparency with pricing because I left feeling ripped off.

The food is fine. What is not fine? I specifically asked for a grilled pork banh mi WITHOUT any sauces or dressing as I planned to take this on my flight out of BOS. I walked back to my hotel and went to pack my lunch. My banh mi was covered in gloppy mayo. There is no point taking it. I called and spoke to the counter lady and she asked me to walk back. There is no time for that. It's my money and time that's wasted. Be advised.

Decent spot to get your Viet fix on the East side! Came here for dinner on Tuesday and we were able to be seated right away (and there's ample street parking nearby). The place seems quite authentic based off the menu and staff. I ordered pho tai, while my friends got bun thit nuong and salted egg fried rice. Everything was tasty and came in pretty big portions! The pho isn't the best I've had but it's enough to satisfy your craving. My personal fave was the bun thit nuong - the pork is marinated perfectly. If you're on the east side of Boston and in need of a Viet fix, consider this spot!

I wanted this to be good. The pics/reviews made this the best restaurant near Courtyard Airport Marriott. I ordered the Tofu/noodle/veg spring roll wrapped I. Rice paper. Meh. Bland. Veggie Pho w/Tofu. It looked great, but presentation aside, the broth was under seasoned. At least I got in a good walk and Dunkin' was just down the street.

Barbecue chicken. I rate it based on this alone. It's enough for two. The pho soup is also good!
