New Seasons Market - Palisades

Cashiers need customer service training... I took advantage of the store can/bottle recycling for the first time yesterday and today. Mind you I am an employee of a neighboring store in Palisades and we very often purchase from the store. The young woman, I believe in management, who helped with the count and provided the voucher, was gracious, friendly, and helpful. Not so the cashiers! Yesterday an older Asian woman repeatedly challenged the information on the voucher and left me wondering why. Today I waited in a long line and Shay made it VERY clear she was annoyed that she had to deal with me and the transaction. She was rude to the point of verbally snapping at me. I was dressed business casual and had my name tag on for easy ID. What could she have thought was so bad with what I was doing? Employees can have all the opinions of their customers they want but they need to stifle them in the interest of best practices. If I treated one if my customers like that I'd be written up for sure if not terminated.

Nice, clean, well-kept store with friendly staff. Great selection of products, both standard stuff and niche products. The health and wellness section is excellent!! Staff has always been helpful and friendly here, and the checkout lines always move quickly. The cheese shop is wonderful, and they have a great selection of deli stuff or if you're looking for some quick food to grab and go. I've been shopping here since they first opened, and probably will continue to do so.

The staff here is always professional and kind. They have great products as well such as Oregon farmed The Country Egg. I highly recommend this store not just because they are a client of my businesss, Sunrise Ranch, LLC, but because I love shopping there as well.

My son stopped after work on Mother's Day and brought me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers. Although there wasn't much of a selection from lot's of purchases prior for Mother's Day, a really nice helpful lady made a special bouquet for him since I love purple! As of today 5/15/25, they're still beautiful and the lilies are still blooming and smell heavenly! I was able to post 2 pictures! On another note, we both love the coconut bliss ice cream! He brought some home too! Hardly any stores carry it!

PLEASE NOTE!!! As of the date of this review, this store is now a New Seasons location. All reviews before this are for Palisades Market, the store that used to occupy this space. The new store is very bright, clean and lively. I highly recommend it!!

I heard so many things about New Seasons but their hot pizza literally was so burnt that the cheese was burnt. It must have been sitting out all day on the warmers. The salad bar was disappointing and the bull cookies were bland. I had such high hopes. But my orange was good.

Knowledgeable staff, helpful and offering great suggestions for people with dietary restrictions. Josh in the meat department is awesome!

BAKERY! Karissa and Anne (sp?) are amazing. I have used this bakery for two big firm events within a month and everyone loves their cakes! From tres leches to their classic vanilla and chocolate cupcakes and layer cakes, they are perfection. The bakers/pastry chefs go above and beyond, are so sweet and so accommodating. I cannot speak more highly of them and am so grateful! PS) the rest of the store is also pretty great 😊

Wow! This store is beautiful! It is bright, wide open spaces, incredibly helpful staff, and just everything you would want in a grocery store. When compared to the Safeway, in town, this is light years beyond them. If there is a potential for concern it is that there doesn't seem to be a lot of checkout counters at the front. With a store this large, I will be interested in seeing how the checkout process works.

This is a great local grocery store in LO. Premade food/salads are convenient! My kids love the pizza slices!

This is a great place to shop for food like all New Seasons. They stock more local produce than Amazon and have high quality all around. I'm surprised they didn't re-stripe the parking lot during their otherwise lengthy remodel. The directional arrows are difficult to see and the lot has a weathered look one would expect from an older store, not one that just opened.

The Palisades New Seasons is a beautiful new store located at the south end of Lake Oswego off of McVey and South Shore. I'm impressed how they transformed the old Lamb's Palisades into such a well-thought-out and organized space. The same footprint, but there seem to be so many more products. The new store uses every inch of space efficiently while not feeling cramped. Gorgeous meat department, dessert section, lots of produce, and The Eatery which serves brick-oven pizza, BBQ, soft-serve ice cream, coffee, and craft beer & cider on tap. I stopped by the first day and the parking was a challenge. It's not a big lot. I know the traffic will die down, but think the best time to go will be early morning or afternoons.

Love this store! Great selection. It also has excellent pizza and wine. Light, bright space, great selection and friendly staff. 5-Star!

Love this store! It's so great to have another grocer in this space. The team did an incredible job remodeling the space into a light and bright beauty. It's a bit more compact but the selection is good and I've always left with everything I needed (and then some, let's be honest). Having said that, wines prices skew heavily to the higher end; I would love to see a more budget friendly selection. Perhaps asking too much for LO though. Staff are all very friendly and ready to help out!

I've tried to shop here 3 times. All three times I am met with poor customer service and staff that is not knowledgeable about products and or policies. The barista bar is especially difficult. I will continue to shop at Nyberg Rivers NS as they have impeccable staff and customer service.

The staff was very nice to me all the people would talk to me and tell jokes I have to give a teen a five star review

Worst flowers ever purchased. They wilted in 2 days. Save your money. Go elsewhere.

This location is on the smaller side, feels a lot like the LO Whole Foods. A place you'd pop in for a few things on the way home, but not quite all your shopping. Beer and wine section is the best of NS I've been to, bright and concise. Produce and seafood are definitely on the skimpy side. What they did have looked great (a surprising issue at other locations.) Bakery seemed well stocked for mid afternoon when many locations are left with a sad selection. Dairy again felt limited - you get the point. Get the basics, come with a back up plan. Checkout was friendly and well staffed.
