Great spot for an authentic Chinese food experience.
My friends and I recently came here on a busy Saturday night. With no Chinese speaker in our group, we initially had a hard time figuring out how the waitlist worked. We were able to pin down one of the servers in the middle of the restaurant, and waited in front of the entrance to make sure that we could snag a table once it becomes available.
Without much knowledge of their popular menu, it took a while to browse through their huge menu. We eventually got a few dishes from their house specials. House empress chicken was our favorite, but we also liked the minced pork with lam-toy and string. The chicken was served cold, but it was still very flavorful with a special sauce on the side. It was also nice to accompany minced pork and lam-toy with some fried rice as it added savoriness that the rice was lacking. Only thing we thought was average was the jumbo shrimp with mixed vegetables.
Overall, we really liked the quality of the food for the price, and we will definitely be back to try more of their house specials.
