New World Chinese Restaurant

I have never tasted Chinese food as nasty as this in my 66 years of life. I can't believe that this place still has customers. Their steamed chicken dumpling were like plastic, even when I tried to soften them up by boiling them, they never got soft.The dipping sauce that came with them was disgusting, it tasted like all vinegar, I truly hate this nasty place. The chicken fried rice had no flavor, the chicken wings were dry, and tasteless. The wonton soup had no flavor. I don't know how this place stays in business, there is no reason for it, I have NEVER tasted Chinese food this bad before. The woman sounded weird on he phone, just as weird as their nasty food. If I had had this food the first time I tried Chinese food I would have NEVER eaten it again after trying this nasty place. They need to be put out of business. And I don't like wasting my $$ either!!.

2 stars bc food was fresh and lo mein was tasty. Disclosure , I ordered via uber eats, therefore the report was filed via the app! I did not need to call the restaurant as Uber refunded my funds. However I want to confirm the reviews below of receiving incorrect items. I ordered curry beef and onion and I received curry chicken and onion. I don’t eat chicken so I had to throw the entire food away and only eat the beef lo mein I ordered. A bit disappointed as the food smelled good and seamed fresh. Not sure how clearly selected items ordered from your menu are missed. Also my instructions were followed so it gave I cooked this wrong meat and I don’t care I’m giving it to the customer anyways !

3.5-4 Portion size is good. Fried chicken taste good. Spring rolls eh. Tea could be a little sweeter but not bad

Second time buying food in this store. The focus of my review is the lady who received the orders. How disrespectful and lack of empathy with customers she has. She is the kind of people that consider that customer are not important if someone don’t buy her someone else will do it. So, that give confidence to treat customer disrespectful. That is the reason I won’t choose the store. This Chinese restaurant MUST understand that a lady on the front is the face of the RESTAURANT and how she treats us as customers represent if will be back or not. Unfortunately, even when the food taste good and the restaurant looks clean, because HOW BAD SHE TREATED I won’t be able to go back.

It was my 1st time so I didn't know what to expect... service was so so, place was as hot as an oven but good was pretty good, better than I expected. I will be returning to try other dishes.

I used the Uber eats app to order. I KNOW I selected fries, but instead receive fried rice. Wings weren’t good enough to order from here again.

i just move to Yonkers try couple of Chinese restaurants , this is my favor, new renovation looks clean and food is very fresh

They always give crazy big portions and the food it’s consistently good! My favorite is general Tso’s and my sisters favorite is the hot and sour soup

I was so hungry that I attempted to remove the excess oil from the Hot Sour soup with a paper towel. Sickened by Hot and Sour soup, I threw away the wonton soup that I also bought without tasting it.

We've been ordering from new world for quite some time and today when I flipped over the container to dump the rest of the Singapore into order plate I saw this stuck to the noodles. I removed it from the noodle and it's a roach! It has the antennas and the skin of a roach. I am soo disgusted by this. Unfortunately, I won't be ordering from them aga

From Uber Eats delivery. Ordered spare ribs this morning and it's the worst BBQ ribs I ever had. It feels like it's days old BBQ recoated with heavy think like sauce that was just too tangy. Worst Chinese BBQ ribs ever! Terrible pork fried rice as well! No flavor. Mexican yellow rice is used. Fried shrimp was okay. Can't understand the high rating on Uber Eats. Wouldn't order from here again.

Enormous portions, but the food is just okay, nothing to write home about. Very busy place, counterperson got my order wrong and charged me for an extra order of boneless spare ribs. If go there, make sure to look at the receipt. If you want a lot of mediocre food, this place is for you. I personally choose quality over quantity. Decor was very much that of an old school Chinese takeout.

This is the best Chinese food ever!!!! I drive from my workplace in the Bronx to eat here sometimes.

Horrible service. Ordered food around 6pm and never came. I called back at 9pm. They said food was delivered. Offered me egg rolls to compensate my time. I order from here to alot and never again. Ps some plates come in dirty with hair. Also they lie on the phone saying when it's on the way

Love the food & service! My first time going didn't know what to expect. But they are clean and food tastes amazing. Nice and hot and parking not so hard to find. They also have a little table inside available in case you'll want to dine in. Love it & recommended it. Definitely going again !

I ordered from the restaurant thru Uber Eats and it was an epic fail. I ordered the fried rice with Chicken wings and the serving was huge. a lot of rice. BUT WHO WANTS A LARGE PORTION OF OLD STALE FOOD. The wings were old and the rice was old. UNEATABLE. The rice tasted like it was three day old stale rice and I'm posting a pic of the old chicken wings. It appeared like it was freezer burned chicken wings.

today i will be giving this restaurant 1 star simply for the disgusting customer service I received not too long ago. I simply asked for only duck sauce no extra condiments. I had no problem paying for any extra Duck Sauce. I was asking for it but the employee on the phone wouldn't have know that because she started yelling at me as I asked for a handful of Duck Sauce, because I was unsure how much they give out to begin with. the food is good here but this one employee is extremely rude. being yelled at over duck sauce i have no problem paying for is mind blowing then refused to let me speak to any manager or supervisor shift. this is not the first time i had a problem with this one lady.. or even an order of mines either missing something or not cooked to my request (if i say crispy it comes soggy) but i can say the flavors are on point and other then that rude ass employees they are good

I've been eating at New World for a long time now. I've never gotten sick, and always get my veggies cooked right. Delivery can take a while due to this restaurant being very busy. The prices are reasonable and the attentive service is appreciated. Try it out. You won't regret it.

Half Chicken w/Fried rice just the best with every thing else in there menu. Delivery or walk in my favorite place. Tostones and french fries are also good freshly fried everyday.

Food is pretty good but do NOT order delivery from them; pick up or overpay through Uber eats. They pretty much take like 2 hours to deliver

Excellents Chicken & Shrimp combo but they lack in Pork with the PFR. The rice has become greasy over the years & price increases make delivery less appealing. The final problem I have is the fact they never offer Brown Rice because they say not enough people ask for it. Yet down the block they have BR & better PFR. The only reason I still call them is because delivery is usually less than 20mins.

This review dates back to when I was a lot younger. Days when my mother would take me here and we would split a Wings with PFR combo meal. This was one of my favorite Chinese spots growing up. Made me always love to be in the area in hopes that my mother would take me here and spoil me with food! Now, I'm not sure what to make of it. Maybe I'll revisit the spot and see if my savory taste buds can match those of what I tasted so many years ago... Till then, it stays as I remember. 4 stars for banging wings !

Worst experience of my life, I swear. I came inside the lady was impatient to me ordering a food that mind u is my first time in life ordering Chinese food, so I ordered i wait on it i asked her i want solid food since the begging of the order and she saw me ordering some soup ass food which it said shrimp wit sauce and then after i get it say to her oh my god im so sorry but I definitely will not eat thAt a soup im sorry if im being rude but i have to change that so charge me again for a sesame shrimp and when i felt bad about throwing aways the food i told her can i at least have half of my money back and u keep the 13$ dollars food she said to me they dont do refund and that she sorry but that my decision that she will have to pay for the food and i was so polite to ask to speak wit her manager and she started speaking Chinese with the cooker about me. And then told me im gone refund 20.19$ i said why she said only charging the food for your bf and mind u im thinking why is she refunding ao much money if i pay for orher food separate too, so after she did the refund she said "that's " so she was rude and always left me wit no food to eat like seriously what asshole. she also refunded the other food without asking me, wayy to disappointed wish i can speak to the owner

I love their half chicken here! They make the best one. Been going there for years. Staff needs to smile more tho. They only got that serious face.

I went there ordered steam shrimp and Chinese veg. 7.75 they gave me 3 little shrimp and the rest veg which is about 1.50 worth and it wasn't worth it
