I went to this shop to purchase some fruit. Having to change some of my eating ways.🤦🏿‍♀️so I choose fresh fruit. The bagels looked amazing but I don't know if they tasted amazing. The people were ok, they were just kind of there not rude not kind. Just there. I would go back for the fruit if I'm in the area.

This is my go-to bagel spot! Excellent variety, quick service, and blissful quality. From their banana and zucchini bread to their assortment of sandwiches and bagels, this place sets its self apart from the rest.

I have been a loyal customer for years, and they have yet to disappoint me. Whether I get one bagel or by the dozen for my team at work. The bagels are freshly made daily. The cream cheese is just the best. My favorite one has always been the jalapeño bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. They also have a variety of coffee options. I believe it is a family own business. The people are always friendly and patient. It's definitely a good place for a quick bite.

I got two bagels one with cream cheese and one with eggs and spinach. I was eating and found a hair in the bagel. I was so grossed out I couldn’t finish after the first bite. The egg one was not good either, the egg wasn’t cooked well and slimy…

This is really a true bagel place! The vast options of bagels to pick from covering all the classics and some, as well as lots of cream cheese options! The bagels were excellent, but the only negative is that they were a bit thin on the quantity of cream cheese. They also have coffee and blended drinks. I would highly recommend if looking for a bagel off the 50!

Great place. Great food. Came in with my toddler he was touching everything including the display glass and I thought the owner will say something to us, but instead he came up and gave my toddler a pastry to try. What a wonderful place. 10/10 would recommend. Food was amazing.

Always try to stop by when in the area. Love their breakfast sandwiches. Perfect bagels! Grabbed a couple bagel dogs to go for later. They were also awesome. The Jalapeño cheddar is my jam!

Great family-run New York bagel shop in Rancho Cordova. Agels are great, service is super fast. Evwn when they are busy, they are running around getting your order done as fast as possible. Close to freeway too if you are on the move. Highly recommend the bacon cheese bagel. They have lunch stuff too. The bagel dogs are great.

Cool little local spot located in the heart of Rancho Cordova's shopping district. - family owned / nice staff - good variety of fresh bake bagels. - sausage egg and cheese (standard), but done right / fluffy and moist - bagel was toasty, yet delicate Overall good - we'll stop by again when in the area.

After shopping at Daiso, which is in the same shopping center, I looked on YELP for a bagel spot and found New York Bagel. It looks like a small mom and pop place and we were up to try it out. Walking in we were greeted and our order taken right away. Hubby and I both opted for a breakfast bagel. They came out quickly, wrapped in foil and hot. Prices are better than most and we will definitely be back when in town.

Its ok if you want to grab something they already have prepared and reheated. If you eant to modify your order, either they dont understand, dont speak any English or just laugh at you. Stupidity...

The food is good, but the bathroom is disgusting. Wont even show pictures of it. This alone will keep me far away from any restaurant. It just makes me feel that when people can't take care of a public bathroom... how will they really take care of my food properly? I'll check back in 6 months or so from now, but until then... I'm good!

I went to this spot to get some fruit it was fresh. The bagels looked amazing I couldn't partake in them have to change up my eating habits a bit. I have to pick my battles. I would go here again when I'm in the area for the fresh fruit it was good. Customer service was mid. They were not rude or nice just there.

A little hidden gem in Rancho Cordova! It's the perfect place to go for a bagel/bagel sandwich. There's many options and something for everyone, from the type of bagel to the type of cream cheese. We got three of the eggwhiches to try for breakfast. The food comes out quickly and is the perfect place for a grab and go. The bagels stayed warm while we were on the way home. The bagels itself were fresh and soft. The bagels do come untoasted. This is something I wish I knew beforehand, since I would have asked if they could toast it a bit. Overall, the food was yummy! It's definitely a place you can sit and enjoy your bagel and coffee at too. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I'd come back again to have another bagel!

Good bagel shop. Quick, easy, affordable and delicious. $35 for a dozen bagels with 2 tubs of cream cheese and 3 individually made bagels. Nice staff, good service. We always stop by when in Sacramento for a fresh bagel breakfast.

I purchased the Gourmet bagel dozen. These Bagels are the best in Sacramento! They are soft and when toasted they come out tasting like they are freshly made. I was also impressed with the assortment of bagels. Great selection. The cream cheese was perfect. I picked the jalapeño cream cheese and it had chunks of jalapeño. It was perfect Service was fine, it was pretty busy so it makes sense it was a bit slower.

Very delicious! Brought my youngest daughter here for an everything bagel with veggie spread, and I got the blue berry with strawberry cream cheese, and it was very good! I like how they serve it like a sandwich and cut in half, makes it easier to eat.

This is my favorite place to grab a quick breakfast! I've tried many of their bagel sandwiches and all of them are so good. The ingredients are fresh and the bagels are delicious. Service is always quick. It's a cute little local spot where you can grab coffee and other treats. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I'd highly recommend to try this place out for breakfast or lunch.

They are not good with online orders, don't order online go inside and order. Placed an order online and had to wait 40 minutes.

We got a lox bagel and a blt and the flavors were good, nothing special though. but for 9$ it was so small... we were still hungry afterwards... the coffee is great tho and not water downed! I got a white chocolate mocha and it was 5/5 and my friend got caramel blended and it was 5/5 as well, the price was great for the coffee. I'd def come back for the coffee.

We were searching for some bagel sandwiches for breakfast but wanted to support a business that wasn't a chain. So glad we ended up here! It was a Sunday morning and there were a lot of people inside and the line was to the door, seems like a super popular place! But they were so quick. Even though there was a line, we ordered and got our food in less than 10 min. There are so many bagel and cream cheese options, and all day breakfast bagel or croissant sandwiches! I chose a spinach swiss bagel with smoked salmon & scallion cream cheese. Next time I want to go sweet and try their cinnamon crunch bagel with one of the fruity cream cheese flavors! They added capers and onions too with the smoked salmon and it was so tasty. The bagels were toasted perfectly. The workers were so friendly too but still being very efficient and fast! It's your typical mom and pop shop. Not the most updated decor but plenty of seating inside and outside.

Honestly, this place is a gem. Super cheap and delicious! The breakfast sandwiches are a must try!

Reasonable prices and tasty food! We both got two breakfast items (jalapeño cheddar with bacon egg and cheese & croissant with sausage egg and cheese) And it was delicious! Great position sizing not too much not too little and well prepared. Both the bagel and croissant were delicious super soft and tasty. Will definitely be coming back here, thanks!

I'm surprised I haven't done a review here! This is one of our favorite places! When the kids come home we almost always get a dozen... they are the softest, most delicious bagels anywhere! Sometimes we freeze them and eat them later... they reheat nicely... did I mention how much we love the lox bagel sandwich... specialty bagels are my favorite... spinach and cheese, jalapeño and cheese, Asiago are our top pics!

I just tried a BLT on a bacon cheddar bagel and it was one of the best bagels I've ever had! 10/10 I wish I lived closer but when I'm back in this area I will definitely be back.

Fresh bagels and breakfast sandwiches made to order. Welcoming little corner bagel spot hits the spot. Our first time here. W Ordered: Onion bagel with bacon, cheese, and add cream cheese. I like my bagel a little more toasted but overall, solid and yummy sandwich. The flavors go great together. Jalapeño bagel with bacon, cheese, add cream cheese. Jalapeños were spicy and perfect! Another great breakfast bagel. Plenty of parking out front seating inside with one or two tables outside.

A coworker recommended this bagel shop. I got two croissant egg sandwiches-one with bacon and another with sausage. Both were melty perfections and delicious. I also bought two jalapeno cheese bagels to make salami & cream cheese sandwiches at home. The bagels are larger than other places and so good! Definitely coming back for my next bagel or croissant egg sando fix.

I'm so disappointed with the service here. Both times I came in they messed up my order. They charged me for extra things on my bagel and never added them. It is very disappointing to get home and try to enjoy a meal you ordered only to see that it was made wrong again.

Decent bagel shop, food is pretty good. They have a lot of bagels and different sandwiches to choose from. They also have and sell flavored cream cheeses that are really good. Lady working the front register was really nice.

Their bagels are decent. I like to support a local business versus a chain. I ordered a garlic bagel with scallion cream cheese. W ordered an onion bagel with scallion cream cheese on one side and garlic/herb on the other. When he rang it up it came to $11.08. For two bagels with cream cheese. Since the "receipt" (via square) simply says "custom amount" I can only assume that means each bagel was $5.54. That is pretty steep for an average bagel. As much as I like to avoid the aforementioned chain stores, for less than a dollar more I could have gotten half a dozen bagels and smear had I gone there. Strangely, it is also $.55 per bagel more than their breakfast sandwiches which include egg and meat on a bagel which are $4.99. We're all impacted by inflation but $5.54 for a bagel!?! No thanks.

I rarely venture out to the city of Rancho Cordova, a city within Sacramento County. But when I saw on Yelp of an independently owned and operated bagel shop, I just had to give this place a try. And with the respectable amount of above average Yelp reviews (dating back to 2007), a fully loaded warm bagel is just what I had in mind for my Saturday morning. "New York Bagel " is located at the busy Rancho Cordova Town Center outdoor shopping mall located at the corner of Olson Dr. & Zinfandel Dr. This center has large anchor stores such as Target, Ross, & PetSmart while being directly across the street from KP International Market. I came here on the morning of 4/10/21 at around 11:10am. It was busy but not to a point where I had to wait a very long time. There was also several patrons dining in as Sacramento County were in the less-restrictive tier during the COVID-19 pandemic. I also wanted to point out that all employees were wearing masks while the inside tables were socially distanced. I ended up ordering a "Bacon, Egg, & Cheese" version inside of a warm, soft Asiago bagel. I also added alfalfa sprouts as well. As for my drink, I went with am "Iced Chai Latte". Total price for everything after tax, around $8. The service here was very quick and attentive. I was given my bagel in less than 5 minutes. As far as the overall taste, this was quite delicious and very hearty. I was actually quite surprised that they added quite a few pieces of bacon to make each and every bite savory. The dough in their bagels was soft, spongy, and enough to maximize my carbohydrate overload for most of the day. As for the Iced Chai Latte, this was also quite delicious; nothing too fancy but still a very good price for what you get. And there you have it, "New York Bagel" is one of the better mom & pop places worth checking out. It may not be the same thing as going to the Big Apple of New York City but it is a decent place. If you're a fan of small businesses, I highly recommend giving this place a try. They offer a full-on coffee menu while they carry all sorts of bagel options (whole-grain, blueberry, raisin, jalapeño cheddar, etc.) and a ton of spreads. And of course their breakfast items (bacon, sausage, ham, egg, etc.) is enough to customize your bagel to your liking. With above average service, competitive prices, and a nice selection, I am giving New York Bagel a respectable four stars.

I go there once a week for iced coffee and bagel dogs for me and my coworkers. We try to mix it up but you can't go wrong with the jalapeño one places usually empty. I get there right when they open at 6 AM old guys in there always friendly

Best bagels in Sacramento area and that is a huge statement. They are a small business and are always consistent with their food and drinks. I enjoy coming in there every time and the bagels are definitely some of the best if not the best I have ever had. The service is always good even when it is busy.

The food is decent but you're better off going to subway because the pricing is ridiculous. The older gentlemen I believe the owner is extremely rude as well. It was my mom's first time here and what she order came out to $13, to which she expected to pay about $9 based on his menu with prices. Turns out he hasn't updated his prices!!! So he literally started yelling at my 70yr old mom that it was $13 because of everything she included. He then proceeded to say his tomatoes cost $85 a box??? I mean KP is down the street and we've never paid that much for a box of tomatoes. Anyways.... Be cautious of what you order or the old man will yell at you. We didn't end up getting my mom her bagel btw.

I come here nearly everyday for lunch and their sandwiches are always top tier and priced very fairly! The atmosphere is nice, quiet and their service is always very polite and accommodating. Bagels are always fresh and tasty too! If I could give 6 stars I would! Support your locally Asian owned businesses!

The food is consistently delicious and the shop is very down to earth a great place to bring your family in the morning for breakfast or lunchtime the owners are super customer service oriented! I'm here at least once a week

This has been my go to bagel place since moving to the area a few years ago. I came much more frequently when they still had their pesto bagels but don't come quite as much now that they took that off of their menu. The bagels are still pretty solid as are the bagel sandwiches but I never know quite which bagel to try. My favorite cream cheese by far is the garlic and herb so if you are a garlic person, give it a try!! You won't regret it! When I order the eggwich I switch it up and try different bagels. The onion bagel is good but not great...I think it all depends on if you like toasted onion since it's on top of the bagel when they cook it so it gets a bit toasty. The same goes for the garlic one. I love garlic but sometimes that bagel can be a little overwhelming. They also have all of the standard bagels and will add some new ones periodically so you have a good variety of options of bagels and different cream cheeses. They have a few tables inside and outside but it's not a huge place. They also do other sandwiches that don't involve a bagel but it seems weird for me to not get a bagel here!

Wanted to like this but place sucks , wanted a cinnamon bagel with strawberry cream cheese , there was clearly chunks of onion in there (probably used same knife to smear) and when I asked if I can change it or get it remade he goes "that's exactly what they gave you". Their hot chocolate is chalky and waste of money. Costumer service is mediocre as well and food. Go to Noah's.

Best bagel place in Sacramento. We have been coming here for years. We've also ordered the bagel lunch sandwiches on the way to the lake and it made a perfect last minute picnic.

Just came in to try this place for the first time. Ordered a turkey avocado on bagel and asked for no onion. Well I open my sandwich and there's onions all over. Tried one bite, it tastes like onion so I threw it away. Wasted $10. Never coming back again.

Overcharged for my entire order. Only provided a flat cost and not an itemized breakdown of items with sales tax. They tried to justify it by saying the sales tax was higher than it was. Order was not correct (no cream cheese on one sandwich). Bagels were good but experience was horrible.

I'm ok with rude service and love supporting small businesses but there's no excuse for being filthy. Watch as they ring you up and then run over to make your food without washing their hands. I've even seen them sweep and then go make sandwiches without washing their hands. I had to ask them to wash their hands first and he was so reluctant to do so. Yuck!

We really enjoyed, this Cafe's Bagels and Service. Looked a bit shabby from the outside, but once we entered, the look came together. The coffee was great as well. I ordered the Americano, that I normally order from Starbucks. This Americano was better! Next time we are in the area we will stop by again.

Asked for extra cream cheese and was charged for it and this is what I got? Lol imagine I didn't ask for extra I would probably got none. The bagels are good they are just very stingy.

Not impressed. My bagel was hardly toasted, and the texture of the cream cheese wasn't very good. Very buttery-like and it melted into my bagel so it really just felt like I was eating a bagel with butter. I also feel like the bagels alone were just flat, like no bite to it, very airy-- and not in a good way. Remainder of my bagel went in the trash.

i've been going here for years now and it's a cute mom&pop bagel shop! they usually have a plethora of bagels/breads made fresh and a variety of cream cheeses. as a cream cheese fanatic, i have to commend their cream cheeses for being very light and fluffy. you can tell that they whipped up the cream cheese during preparation. i've tried most of their bagels and they're pretty standard -- nothing extraordinary but still great. all their cream cheeses are soo sooo good, i sometimes grab myself a pint to go. they offer to toast the bagels upon ordering and the customer service is pretty solid! sometimes it takes a while for your food to come out when it's busy. ample parking as it's located in a mall with target, ross, etc. interior is pretty bare bones

Oh wow! The bagel sandwiches are off the hook good! I suggest a Ham & Swiss Cheese on a "Super Onion" bagel. These bagels are 100X better than Noah's. The owners are awesome too. They remember their customers and always provide the best customer service with a smile! They also have an array of bagel dogs, old school Java City Coffee and a great selection of drinks. This place is a real hit or miss for me. Sometimes the employees are nice most of the time they are meh. Today I got a bagel with cream cheese which costs almost $5 and the worker barely put any cream cheese on it.
