More bang for your buck! Staff is friendly and helpful. This is a quick service place. You order at the counter, and they will call your number. Once your number is called, you are asked which toppings you would like, and they do it in front of you. The gyros are huge! We both had the lamb gyro, and it was so good! Online ordering makes it even faster. This will be my go-to when I'm in a rush and starving!

Chomothkar—amazing. I love having the option for a chicken and lamb combo over salad and their portion sizes! The food is nothing fancy, but delicious and comforting for that reason. The staff are very accommodating and generous. I am so glad they are at this location. It has been awesome to see their expansion from the location on Lake Street. They are still new at this location so the atmosphere is still in progress, but I look forward to seeing how they blossom.

I’ve only tried the chicken and gyro platters and the sambusa. Always fire. I recommend ordering inside so you can go down the subway style line of toppings lol. And it’s so much better when they drizzle the tzatziki on it instead of the lil containers you get when you order online. 10/10

I didn't realize they were going to have me pick the toppings for my gyro. I panicked and just said everything, and she loaded me up! Should have taken a picture... Only way I could eat it without it spilling all over was to open the foil just enough to get a fork in, and eat half of it that way first. Definitely recommend.

I placed an order on their ordering site from their webpage and I double checked the address and then placed my order once I got to the location. The gentleman in the establishment said they didn’t receive my order. I showed him my order confirmation with my order details showing that I paid for my order and he still told me that they didn’t have my order And didn’t offer to prepare my order after me showing him my order confirmation and basically told me he can’t help me so I canceled my order now I have to wait 3-5 day for a refund should have went to JJ fish and chicken

Came for an after gym snack. Got a late night beef patty. Staff were very nice and accommodating even with my small order. Patty was fresh, crisp and guy over the counter even got me some cheese sauce which was bomb. With the dwindling late night bites in MSP, this is a no fluff staple I’d happily go again. Prices are where they should be, we need more places like this in MSP

Do NOT listen to the lame reviews on here; this place official like a referee whistle. First off, how many food spots open until midnight on a week night??? Second off, the portions for the price??? Unbeatable. Combo over rice is always the move, and I’m about to have leftovers. Third, the variety. You about to get all 5 food groups when you eat at NY Gyro. I’m not trying to hear the hate, don’t be pissed because you ordered the wrong thing. Why you coming to the halal spot to get chicken tenders? Wild! Mango lassi goes crazy too. I’m rocking with NY Gyro, and you should too. Best halal food in uptown and I’m standing on that.

Used the online ordering system for pickup. The online menus showed the Family Platter for 3 containing: chicken kabob, lamb tikka, chicken tikka, chicken and gyro meat, salad rice, and sauce. The ordering system forced me to add additional items: Tzatziki, white or Cucumber Sauce, Pita Bread on side, Lettuce, Baklava, Large Size Fries, Bottled Water I ordered two of these for a wedding party and was forced to order the extras on BOTH. I picked up the order and on the drive to the party, the whole truck started smelling like fish. Which was super bad because my wife is very allergic. When we got to the party, we find out that the trays contained a huge bed of rice and 3 assorted meats including fish. No gyro meat, no salad, no sauces. I received only one pita and that was the one I was forced to order on the side. The side items, should have been doubled since I was charged for them, but I only received one of each forced item. I emailed the store the next morning and was told they could do nothing for me and they would try to do better next time. This is NOT acceptable. I never asked for a full refund. The food will be eaten by someone. I was only asking for a refund of the second set of forced add ons I never received.
