I was craving spaghetti. We opted to try considering it was the closest location while driving in the area. I was met with hot authentic tomato sauce " gravy" Delicious. Not sweet or commercialized. My husband ordered the chicken Alfredo, and that too was authentically satisfying. The kicker was the bread .. flaky yet soft. Highly recommend. Oh and the cozy ambiance was extremely clean. The customer service was the 10.

New York Pizzeria is my family’s go-to pizza restaurant. This is a family owned and operated restaurant. The owners are always friendly and accommodating. The pizza is great. Most if not all of their meat does not contain pork. My favorite pasta is the baked cheese tortellini. This is also a great lunch spot, if you drop in, you can get 2 slices and a coke for less than $10. The slices will have a crisp crust and the cheese will be stretchy. My wife raves about the house salad with their tomato vinaigrette house dressing. Some outdoor seating is available, the seating inside is compact and limited but in my experience, always available. While a slice from a large pizza is great, you’ll get the full experience and flavor from a 10” personal sized pizza.

Service & deliciousness! 10 on 10:) came for a quick pick up but we were so hungry ended up having half a pizza fresh out of the oven!

Amazing pizza and awesome service! We ordered ahead and ate in the restaurant when we got there. It was delicious, greasy, flavorful pizza—exactly what you want from a small pizza shop! The woman up front brought me ranch and gave my husband a free coke. Best pizza we’d had in a while! We don’t live in the area but hope to go back.

I ordered through DoorDash, but wanted to leave a review on here for others. I don’t know if it’s true chicken Alfredo, but I was wanting some comfort food and this chicken Alfredo has never been so good. I can tell that they use a decent amount of spices and what I presume to be quality As well. Definitely gonna order or even drive out to this place again.

Great spot. Friendly staff. The place is small AND it didn't feel small. We had pizza and chicken parm. Both were delicious. Can't wait to go back to try other food items!

We just moved from New York and we tried this location NEW YORK and its better than any other pizza I ever had. Their other dishes were also fantastic as well. Service was phenomenal and couldn't be better. Would go here everyday if I could.

I am from NY so I am picky. I judge a Pizza by the crust. Its a hit or miss to me depending who making the crust. The personal pizza was unually good compared to the slice. I will always support cause they dont sell pork so I get a larger selection of foods to eat. I will do order cause its local. Its a band aid missing NY Pizza for real. The one thing I do like is they have bottled coke. That is old school to me. I do even drink soda no more but something about a bottled soda hits different than plastic. They dont have these in up north no more. I was shocked to see the bottles.

Nope. Not today. We've ordered from here before and it's great. Today, the child working the phone screwed up my order. Didn't know till I got home. Called back to get it corrected. Lady answered who didn't really know English. Gotta love Texas. Placed new order, explained it's for a screw up. I go to pick it up, lady makes me pay. I explained, THREE TIMES that this was to replace the one they screwed up earlier. Funny how the child working there 15 minutes ago is nowhere to be seen. I even tipped when I bought the first one. And they made me pay for the second correct one. Sorry. 0 stars for you from me.

10/10 recommend this great lil family owned pizza spot! I got White Pizza but know everything else has to be equally delicious! Great people and very clean!

Best pizza in all of DFW. Would get 5 stars if the staff customer service was consistent. Most of the time they are very welcoming and superbly courteous, but sometimes they are a little salty. I am a regular patron, I order the same thing always, and I was actually hung up on a couple weeks ago.

A friend of mine was looking for a place for us to eat before going to a haunt that was taking up residence at the skate park in the same event area as Lone Star Park & the concert venue formally known as Verizon. He settled on New York Pizzaria because they had a number of options for folks to pick from between salads, wings, pizza, etc. They have a big kitchen but smaller dining room, so our group of 10 ended up dividing out between a couple of tables. The theming of the dining area is very on point for a new york pizza place. They had a good number of folks coming in and out take out orders which seems promising for it being a neighborhood favorite. Staff was friendly and wait time was reasonable for a local owned pizza place! We did have to remind for them to grab our bottle drinks out of the cooler but staff was working hard to get orders out, so not a huge thing to fuss about. I tried a slice of supreme pizza because I love the fact they have beef pepperoni, turkey ham, etc. Finally, a pizza place my husband can get a supreme or meat lovers pizza! My Supreme pizza slice had enough topping on it, that one of my friends pointed out they've gotten less toppings on a bigger pizza from a chain they order from. Between everyone in our group we tried most of their options and everyone enjoyed what they got. Because of their topping options I will for sure come back over here for the rest of my family to try it. It for sure is a good option to stop for a meal before going to an event at the venues nearby.

Spaghetti was lacking flavor looked like a kid made it even our pizza was wrong ‍ will never come back again!

Always hits the spot and the family is so nice. Best pizza I've found in Dallas so far. Stuffed mushrooms and cheese pizza make me drool

The cheese and pepperoni pizza are very good. The spaghetti and meatballs are tasty. The staff is always friendly.

When I saw New York pizzeria I expected something different.I ordered a large supreme and a order of wings.The pizza reminded me of papa John's.Which isn't bad but nothing special.As far as the wings go they were ok but could of been a little more crispy.Overall this place was just ok.I was just expecting like a big thin New York slice which this isn it.Not to mention this place is a little pricey.

Stromboli was great! Service was great! Definitely going to make it a regular place for me.

Absolutely love this place. My family does not eat pork and we love that every thing on the menu as far as meats has no pork! Always fresh made to order.

Placed ordered through Grubhub. Ordered the chicken parm. The pasta needed salt. The chicken parm was not chicken breast. It looked more like pressed chicken with marinara and cheese. I was not impressed with this dish at all. I read some good reviews for this place and their pizza and I'll be back to try that, but chicken parm would not be something I would recommend at all.

Decided to give this place a try today and I was not disappointed. Pizza is good and authentic sauce is good definitely not your normal Pizza Hut.

Pizza is delicious and the dough is fresh. Great prices as well as always friendly service. I've tried a few of the specialty pizzas so far and they've all been so well balanced in toppings and flavor ratio. It's close to work so it's turned into my go to pizza spot. Carry out is fast probably 15-20 mins!

I want to take the time to Thank this amazing place because they let us stay inside longer. My car overheated at the gas station that's beside them and the worker came out and told my 2 kids and myself that we couldn't stand outside. We are not from here and we were just passing by. We walked to the next business and found this amazing place and we decided to eat and I asked the cashier if he minded us staying longer after we finished our pizza. He gladly said,"Oh yes, stay until whatever time you need. We close at 9pm." Its only 3:30 and this made my heart smile. I appreciate this restaurant and I will forever be so thankful for my and my kids. I will stop as many times I pass this restaurant and please support this amazing place. Food was amazing and everyone was so nice to us. Thank you and God Bless!

This place has been around for a while. When we get pizza this will satisfy my pizza craving. Everything is good and so is the pasta entrees. My daughter gets the chicken Alfredo and the spaghetti with meat sauce. My husband and I have gotten most of the pizzas so you can't really go wrong.

We had a staff meeting, and my boss said she knew this great pizza place. I put our order in for 5 pizzas at about 3:30 for delivery at 6:30 pm because that's when I could. I think they cooked the pizzas when the order came in and didn't even look at when it needed to be delivered. Who does that? The pizzas weren't even warm. It's nothing to write home about. Would never recommend this place to anyone I know.

Go here almost every week. Best pizza in North Texas. Owners are awesome too! Be sure to come by and get the New Yorker and Brooklyn....Bomb!!

New York pizzeria is the best ! The food taste great and the service is fast and easy . I got the spinach calzone it comes with tomato sauce that makes it even better . The owner of this place is a very nice man and I like that they have a rewards system . So when you have enough points you can redeem them for free item .

Lived in Grand Prairie for over 20 years and never knew about this place. Do some promotions! Anyway, great food, nice people. Have only been once, but going back tonight for takeout. Last week I had the pepperoni pizza slice and their manicotti...awesome! Reminds me of when I worked in NJ from 2014-2015. Very hot and fresh. The ambiance is cool too, just a little small, but since there are no other really good Italian restaurants in this area, I am truly grateful for this place.

Food was pretty good. Delivery wasn't super fast (waited about an hour) and they didn't give any utensils or napkins (ordered stuffed mushrooms and chicken parm).

I was disappointed on having to eat the meat lovers pizza. It's sauce and toppings is the equivalent of a Peter piper pizza. The crust was the only thing that stood out to me. I wouldn't suggest it have a 4 star review honestly.

Excellent take out, we phone in our order and pickup. We usually order for just the two of us but on occasion we'll order for 6-8. The pizzas and pastas are very good. A lot of times I'll order eggplant parmigiana, Greek salad and garlic cheese bread for Debbie and me, we'll have enough for dinner the next night. Delicious quality good at a reasonable price.

This was my first time ordering from here. I ordered the chicken alfredo pizza and meatball sub. And I can say satisfyingly, THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Fast delivery, AMAZING FOOD! It smelled and looked SOOOO GOOD!!! I found my new favorite place!

This hidden gem is a small dine in/carry out spot with friendly staff and pretty amazing food. Their menu offers beef pepperoni, beef sausage, turkey ham, turkey bacon, etc - which is hard to find. This is definitely a spot sticking around on my list.

Yesterday I was nearby and thought....I can go for a slice. I'm from NY so I take my pizza seriously. I read reviews etc before deciding to grab a slice plus its close to home. I went in and there were 3 people in the back. The young lady asked me if I had a take out or to go order. She did not have on a mask! Nor did another man in the back. I saw 1 person woth a mask out of 3. Scared the heck out of me. I ran for my life. This is a pandemic!

I searched and searched for places to eat around Verizon Theater, and came up pretty thin. I decided to try this little spot right off 161. It's a very small dining room (maybe 7 tables) with the order window right as you come in. Although cramped, the dining area was nice and clean (as was the bathroom) and the photos on the menu all looked very tempting. I chose the Chicken Parmesan which is served with spaghetti marinara. The sauce is good, with a nice thickness and the spaghetti was done right. The chicken was tender and good, no "wow" factor to it. I also got to try the Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo - again the sauce is good, and has some depth of flavor, the pasta well cooked and the chicken tender. I tasted the Stromboli as well and I found it to be the most flavorful. Nicely toasted, yet chewy bread, a real earthy and cheesy flavor and served with a side of marinara for dipping. A really good Stromboli. I have no issues with this place. It is what it is - a nice local pizza and pasta spot that I would probably visit occasionally if it was in my neighborhood.

I've lived in GP for 8 years now and recently tried New York Pizzeria at the suggestion of my husband and omg I'm so glad we did. I've ordered with them weekly since trying about a month ago. Pizza is good, place is clean, and they're fast without risking quality!

Let me just say, the service is awesome here! I miss East Texas where usually everyone seems to be friendly, and this place reminds me of that friendliness. Not only are they friendly but they are fast at making their menu items. Now for the food. Their Special #2 is a favorite of ours. Two 16" One Topping Pizzas. They are so fast at making them so it is perfect for when my husband and I are starving and want something now. Plus, this order has enough to leave us plenty of leftovers. Today I tried some items that perked my interest on their menu... Tortellini Baked Cheese and a Spinach Calzone. I really liked the Spinach Calzone. The portion was huge and the mozzarella hit the spot. The Tortellini Baked Cheese was good too but more for those who like red sauce (I prefer alfredo so I will have to try the Tortellini Alfredo next time). Make this place your go to place for takeout and delivery pizzas, calzones and pastas! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

The first picture here is their ad, the second is what you get. Very disappointed in false ad. Drove a little way to get here and wish I hadn't. Asked for extra crispy fries got limp ones. And hardly any meat on my sandwich. Been to much better and gonna stick with those.

We get pizza and wings from here on a regular basis. Good, fast service and the mild wings are just the right amount of heat with plenty of taste.

Ordered delivery. Came 20 minutes earlier than the delivery time and was hot & fresh! We ordered a cheese pizza, veggie pizza, and the Greek pizza. Tastes awesome! It doesn't make you feel greasy or heavy. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. They serve beef options which will be helpful next time. We halal businesses!

I took my wife here tonight for dinner around 7:00 pm. The food was delicious the service was excellent it's a family restaurant and everyone was so gracious and kind. I had the lasagna. My wife had the eggplant parmesan and a side of stuffed mushrooms. They have great desserts. We had the tiramisu. When you're eating Italian food it's all about the people and the food. If you eat here you won't be disappointed in price taste or service.

Love love love this place!!! I've recently tried the Greek pizza and it is DELICIOUS! I have yet to try a pizza from here that is not worth getting again. The customer service is also great, everyone is always so friendly and you get a really home-ey vibe that just welcomes you in and makes you want to come back. This is definitely my go to pizza place!

Tried this as a new local resident and have to say I was truly impressed. Not only was everyone polite and and prompt, the food was delicious. Had a supreme pizza, a pepperoni pizza, stuffed mushrooms, and spaghetti. Everything tasted authentic and fresh. Will be eating again.
