"As the name implies, this upscale steakhouse serves some of the best cuts of USDA-grade prime beef at the beach in surroundings that ooze the Big Apple. Pair the perfectly charred steaks with classic sides like Lyonnaise potatoes or creamed spinach, and finish it with a slice of cheesecake shipped directly from NYC." - Ashley Daniels

The service was immaculate. They have valet parking. The staff will accommodate any request you have (I proposed to my girlfriend, so I had a lot of requests. She said yes). Everything we had was to the best quality from the drinks, appetizers, and main dishes. I couldn't recommend this place high enough. Will definitely come again!

Google
5 Stars – Exceptional Steakhouse Experience New York Prime was absolutely top-notch! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The atmosphere is upscale yet inviting—perfect for a special night out. The food was phenomenal. The steaks were cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and everything you’d expect from a top-tier steakhouse. But the surprise standout was the sea bass—it was hands down the best I’ve ever had! Moist, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. And let’s not forget the dirty martinis—they went down very smoothly and were made just right. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and everything flowed perfectly from start to finish. Easily one of the best meals we had on our trip. If you're in Myrtle Beach and want a memorable dining experience, this is the spot!

Google
Overall a 3. The apps were great ! We ordered the 140$ porterhouse for 2. IT came out raw !!! So we sent it back. They re-fired the same steak? Normally restaurants don’t do this, so that was odd to me. Drinks were good, dessert was good. But we will not be back . Not worth the price. At . All. WAY better restaurants in Myrtle beach

*Review coming from a 30yr vet of bar/restaurant experience* Staff here is unbelievable. Person who made our res gave the wrong # for the count for our party (he tried to pass it off as NY Primes mistake…I knew it wasn’t). Host staff was nothing but professional and accommodating. Our server, Ali, was outstanding. Perfect balance of professionalism with a fun personality. All the bus people were equally as helpful and friendly. The steaks were good, but not great IMO. The butter cake was absolutely to die for. Everything was reasonably priced for a Steakhouse.

1) Make a reservation online so you’re seated quickly. That worked out perfect for us. 2) The very BEST bone-in ribeye I’ve ever had in my life, incredible thickness, quality meat, flavor for days. 3) Service is impeccable 4) Prompt food delivery 5) The wedge is excellent along with the loaded baked potato and creamed spinach. 6) You can get almost any dish and share it which is great for a couples date. 7) In-house desserts, fabulous! I shared both the apple pie with glazed walnuts and the yummy warm chocolate chip thick cookie with vanilla ice cream. 8) Just valet since it’s free, much quicker than trying to find parking on your own. 9) Romantic ambience inside - sitting at the little booth in the bar was perfect. It’s an open restaurant so you can look straight to the back when you walk through the doors. 10) Dress nice here - it’s worth it considering the money you’re spending, make it special for someone.

Me and my wife cane here for our anniversary and it was fantastic in every way. I had multiple old fashioned’s and she had Prosecco. We had some out the best oysters we ever had and we are from Massachusetts. We got the porterhouse for 2 and it was great. Any special occasion in Myrtle Beach you should definitely come to NY Prime.

Google
I took one bite and knew we chose the perfect place for dinner. I ordered the Delmonico steak Cajun style with garlic shrimp on the side. After that first bite, I forgot to take a photo until it was already finished! My sides were half portions and could feed 3-4 people alone! I would definitely come back to this place. Service was nice and attentive, the host was accommodating as we did not have reservations, and overall this was a great dinner!!!

Google
We were headed to another spot for dinner and our Uber driver gave us the best tip of the trip to Myrtle Beach. We had searched for the best restaurants near our hotel and didn't see this one but after asking us what we liked our Uber driver said this was the place for us. We didn't have reservations unfortunately as this was an unplanned spot and we arrived around 7 on a Friday evening. The hostess and manager worked their magic and sat us at a high top table near the bar which is incredible. The whole experience was fine dining at it's best from the jacket and tie wearing servers to the white table cloths and amazing atmosphere of this cozy spot. My wife and I ordered the onion rings (5) which were giant sized. We shared the 22 oz bone in ribeye (Med Rare) and it was cooked to absolute perfection with a hard sear and a warm red center. The taste was amazing and was a very quality steak. Our waiter recommended a charity cocktail where 1/2 proceeds went to Breast Cancer Awareness charity and the Pink Kiss was amazing. We were delighted to have dined here and it was an amazing experience. Will definitely return next time we are in Myrtle Beach. Outstanding!

Yelp
This was my fourth time having the pleasure of dining at this phenomenal steakhouse. Don't forget your reservation! You'll need one to walk in the door here! This trip was especially magical... As if the amazing food wasn't enough... Snow started coming down while the lobster was being served tableside! Seafood: Honestly, for a steakhouse, the seafood really shines here! The Chilean Sea bass is divine, the stone crab claws are perfect (though pricey), the lump crab atop the steak! Their lobster is tender, perfectly prepared and will absolutely melt in your mouth alongside the fresh drawn butter and warmed lemon halves. Delish! Steak-wise: The Porterhouse for 2 is the way to go-- this way you get two cuts of meat and the tender bits close to the bone. The filet is nice too! For the Sides: The creamed spinach & potatoes lyonnaise are the way to go! (Don't be fooled by the "steak fries" which are truly giant potatos cut in wedges, drudged through flour & fried-- save room & the calories for the good stuff!) Cocktails: I started with the Blackberry Amigos - great smokey beverage with muddled blackberries & finished with an Old Fashioned Our table shared everything family style & we had leftovers that were devoured the following morning!

Yelp
We were in Myrtle Beach and visited this steak out as we met up with Family. I'm glad we picked this place as the service was top notch. Our food was amazing. We will be back

Yelp
2.5 stars TL;DR: mediocre steak house and dishes, nice service, everything tasted burnt Came here for a quick dinner and luckily was able to grab a table without a reservation. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. FOOD: ~Complimentary bread sourdough (3/5): did not taste or have texture of sourdough. Was just okay. ~Complimentary bread raisin loaf (2.5/5): super dense and overbaked. Unfortunately crust was too hard and interior was dry. ~Baked shrimp (3/5): shrimp was overcooked. Sauce was overly lemon-y. ~Sea bass (3/5): was cooked well, but lacked seasoning due to the size/cut of the fish (too thick) ~Bone in ribeye (3/5): was cooked more rare than medium rare. Outside was overly charred and had a burnt taste. Fat was not rendered, therefore, chewy. ~Sauteed onions (2/5): small pieces you could taste the flavor of the onions/caramelization, but majority of it was so "caramelized" that all you tasted was bitter ash ~Sauteed mushrooms (2/5): same as the onions ~Lyonnaise (2/5): the potatoes were cooked okay but not seasoned enough, and again, the onions were straight up burnt. For the price point and reviews, this place was very disappointing.

Yelp
Love coming here for a good old steak. Every month we make it our mission to come and eat here. However, this last month we came with a group of friends and I found a hair in my steak. That has never happened before and the manager came out immediately to make things right! I do love their steak and dessert so much! Def a must in your a local or visiting MB.

Yelp
I will start off by saying this is not a family friendly restaurant for those with young kids. We traveled from out of town (DMV) to celebrate my birthday. We had our toddler with us and we asked for a booster or highchair and were told we can go home and get one to bring back (umm excuse me) and they don't have any. We thought about leaving right then and there because Ruth Chris would never speak that way. Anyway, the host needs additional training but the waiter was respectful. Our food was delicious with the exception of the bland asparagus that had no salt or butter. Just steamed, untrimmed, flavorless asparagus. The oyster were top tier but the steak and seabass were just ok. Sides are served à la carte and big enough to share with multiple people but if you're a big creamed spinach lover, pass on the one here. Although the valet park, we did ask to park our own vehicle and had no problem. They don't offer anything special for birthdays like Ruth Chris so don't expect a free mini desert. They did have some small "happy birthday" decorations at our table which were cute and shown on my wine glass. All in all, it was an ok experience but we have no plans to return when back in the area. It's a one and done steakhouse for us.

Lisa D.

Yelp
Excellent service, food, and ambiance. We have been here many times for a great night out. Upscale spot with equalizing food and drinks. We come here for every special occasion. Steaks are wonderful but the sea-bass is to die for!

Pam K.

Yelp
The atmosphere was pleasant. There was also plenty of staff to deliver exceptional service. I was joined by two colleagues for a business meeting and we each enjoyed a steak, two petite fillets and one Delmonico and shared cheesy mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts, which was all very tasty. It was also my birthday so we shared the Butter Cake for dessert. This completed the meal and left us all very satisfied from the delicious meal. Overall a great dining service.

Joan G.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants. The best advice is to make reservations. The amount of golfers who come here is ridiculous. Hence, reservations are best to have. We did start with cocktails and we were brought bread and butter. We were seated at a nearby table. We had decided before hand to stay with the appetizers. We started out and shared the oysters Rockefeller. They were delicious and huge. I went with a Cesar salad and he did the shrimp cocktail. Anchovies are requested by me. Outstanding. Then he went with the thick cut pork belly. I did the carpaccio. His bacon was wonderful and really thick cut. My carpaccio as usual was delicious. Dessert? Yes please. We shared the cheesecake which was very good. Would I come back here? You know I will. If you see me there, stop by and say hello.

Linda P.

Yelp
Such a sweet evening. I was taken here for my birthday and we had a delightful evening, including sparkly glitter characters on the table to help me celebrate. The food was excellent and our request to share our choices was graciously accommodated.

Eileen F.

Yelp
Best steaks! Attentive staff, too. Manager Josh professional and gracious. Server Nicole very knowledgeable and helpful. Perfect service! We will return.

Jason S.

Yelp
Food and service was amazing. Staff and food was were top rate. Not the quiet atmosphere I'm used to for such high end dining. Not a complaint just an observation. It is a lively atmosphere and not the location for a romantic quiet conversation.

Shelli Q.

Yelp
If you're not comfortable in an environment brimming with testosterone, stay away. We were surrounded by golf shirts, hearty laughs, and dad jokes. But the food was amazing. NY strip, Delmonico cut, creamed spinach, roasted Brussels, and a damn good extra dirty martini with bleu cheese stuffed olives. For our party of two, we chose the half-order of the two sides and they were both plentiful. I elected the Cajun rub for the Delmonico. My partner added the Bernaise for her steak. They were both perfection. And our server Chris was excellent. We even asked his advice about our next days stop in Wilmington and he was spot on. The noise level is pretty high.

Beth P.

Yelp
Everything about New York Prime is Excellent. From the Perfect Martini at the bar, to the service at the table. For Special Occasions or just a nice dine with your mate! It simply does not matter what you order the Chef will not disappoint. Thank You NYP. BETH

Jeff R.

Yelp
Amazing dirty bleu martini. Great steaks. Great service. Excellent ambience. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
We were not here for a typical dinner. My sister had her wedding reception here and the staff were great! Everything is family style and we got to try so many different things! There is so much food that if I were to come back here, I would have to share my entree. I had the bone in ribeye cooked medium rare. There is a small room in the back that holds 40 guests and they accommodated the immuno-comprised family with a space outside of the tight quarters. They sliced and served the wedding cake. Used gloves. And packed and bagged the leftover for everyone. If you wondering if you should have your small reception here, I would say for it. My sister was pleased and I didn't hear any complaints from immediate and extended family.

Shannon B.

Yelp
We took a few days in MB. The word is "outstanding". Great service and atmosphere. The colossal shrimp and seafood bisque were delicious. This was followed by the best filet I've ever had (period). We dined at thier sister restaurant Chophouse '47 in Greenville back in February and was already impressed.

C B.

Yelp
Everything was soooo good! Thanks to our waitress Ali for helping me find gluten free options. We so enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here

Marvin W.

Yelp
Outstanding food. The service was wonderful with lots of positive interaction with the table! Great ambiance as well.

Shannon E.

Yelp
I'd struggle to find something that needs improvement here... It was a great experience. I would have preferred the bread that came out was warm.

Rick T.

Yelp
Birthday dinner last night and PRIME always delivers. The table had the Sea Bass, a couple of Filet Mignon's, I had a 3 lbs lobsta. We also ordered a few salads and side dishes. The Caesar Salad was quite delicious. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the lobsta, which I chose to dispatch myself, was amazing. If your a lobster person, go for it, sizes range up to 13 lbs.

Kristen B.

Yelp
Yummy yummy yummy - what a treat! Excellent food and superb top of the line service! Limited menu for a special event but menu items chosen were representative of the exceptional quality of this restaurant. Appetizers of shrimp and an oyster were plated for each person. We had a choice of salad - Caesar or Chopped Italian. Caesar was far better and didn't bother even eating the Italian chopped. Basically finely chopped translucent lettuce and nothing else. Looked like a vinegar coleslaw without dressing. Everyone at our table was very pleased with the steak or fish entree as well as the spinach, cheesy potatoes and sautéed mushrooms (which were my favorite). Everything was cooked and seasoned beautifully! NY Cheesecake was the desert and it was served plain but was really good. Service was impeccable and couldn't have asked for more attentive staff on a busy Saturday night. Our group was broken up into numerous tables but each table was served independently. Didn't have to wait for everyone to be served at once - within 5-10 minutes of each other. Didn't feel rushed and the meal overall was excellent even though I wasn't pleased with the salad. Most everyone else enjoyed their Caesar salads. Other diners also raved about the wine selections and assistance provided by the wait staff. No pics at a corporate event. Very highly recommended! Expensive but begets exceptional food and service!

Yelp
Every time I'm in Myrtle Beach, I make a visit to this VERY fine establishment. It is ultra-classy, but yet welcoming. The service is gold standard and so are the steaks. The oven gets to some awesome heat level, so ALL of the steaks come out charred, which is how a steak's supposed to be...even the rare ones. And they are absolutely delicious. I haven't been there since 2015, but I'll be there in a couple of weeks and will update my review then. The decor was reminiscent of the old steak houses "back in the day". You can imagine Marilyn Monroe walking in on the arm of Fred Astaire or some other classic star from that era. Just lovely. Just LOOk at the size of those onion rings...they are massive! And very tasty. My mom and I like to dip them in hot sauce...mmmh...SO good! They dress the huge baked potato right at the table, which is classy and fun. The table next to us ordered a slice of their chocolate cake...it was HUGE! (Sorry I didn't get a photo...I didn't want to be intrusive.) If you love steak and you happen to be in Myrtle Beach, you're depriving yourself if you don't go to New York Prime. OMG, I almost forgot about the raisin bread! It's spectacular. I took home a left over slice and made an amazing french toast with it!

Christy M.

Yelp
Best atmosphere! The food is amazing. The staff top notch! Get the table side lobster and garlic grilled shrimp. Excellent!

John M.

Yelp
Wow. Best steak I've ever had. Highly recommend New York Prime. Feels like an old time steakhouse

Eric S.

Yelp
Little frustrated for a steak restaurant to mess up the steak. Ordered medium rare and it came out well done; not even medium. Waiter cut it in half and should have recognized it but didn't and served it. Ate it anyways and just mentioned it. Wife didn't eat her half and manager seemed not sure how to respond. Oysters and salad were good.

Alvin G.

Yelp
I made a reservation for four people to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary , we arrived on time and were seated promptly, we ordered some good appetizers, wine, steaks, lobster, seafood and a few side dishes. Service was great and everyone seemed to have enjoyed their dinner very much, except my New York strip was so salty I couldn't eat it, I tried scraping the sea salt crust on it but I gave up and more than half my steak was left untouched, I don't ever send food back to the kitchen for fear of what they might do to it but I won't be coming back.

Randy M.

Yelp
Great Service and fantastic atmosphere. A little pricey but a very good selection of menu items to choose from. The one thing I will say is the Steak was cooked perfectly Pittsburg Style exactly how I like it but unfortunately lacked flavor. I had read other reviews that said things needed to be seasoned more and now that I've experienced it I have to agree. It's either the cut of beef or a lack of season but it did not have a lot of flavor. The service was fantastic!!!

Ashleigh R.

Yelp
Food was great, service was great, and the vibe was perfect. Very professional, elegant setting.

Izzy N.

Yelp
A dozen Oysters amazing with a glass of Chardonnay Filet Mignon unbelievable a side of grilled asparagus & baked potato with a glass of merlot the food, Service & ambiance first class I'm sorry Peter Lugers & Smith & Wollensky NYC this is 1st class

William G.

Yelp
My wife wanted to take me somewhere special for my birthday, I told her I wanted a good steak, this is where we ended up. This is off Kings Hwy down street from big Ferris wheel. There is complimentary valet upon arrival. The inside is not large one bar and one main room for dining but it does give you that NY vibe. All the waiters have a beige looking jacket over dress shirt & tie. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of menu and adjustments to suit our needs. The menu is geared toward steak w few other options, sea bass, lobster, or salads. The prices for the steaks are what one would expect from aged meat. Our appetizer of oysters were by far the largest I've seen of any other establishment. I choose Petite Filet and wife chose salad as doesn't care for steak. I would say it was okay on taste, not the absolute best just okay. Warm apple pie w ice cream dessert to finish. Our bill was $150 before tip, take into account 1 steak 1 salad but compared to Halls Chophouse in Cola was about $100 cheaper. I have to mention the bathroom, it was the most disgusting scene that made me want to vomit. Some classy person decided to take a shit in the urinal, no lie. Also there was no water in the sink to wash, my wife said no water in womens also. I looked at the bathroom cleaning log on back of door and was up-to-date but OMG clean your bathroom! Due to this horrible detail cannot give 5 stars.

Jim D.

Yelp
Want to thank all the folks at New York Prime. As a Veteran it was a true joy to eat there on Veterans Day. They treated us with great care and kindness. Our Waiter Christian was just wonderful. Our food was perfect and came together and hot. Look forward to coming back with my friends in the future and will return on Veterans Day next year with my other Veteran friends. Thank you again

Yasmeen A.

Yelp
The food was so delicious! We got the lobster, bone in ribeye, and shareable size of mushrooms for two people and had so much leftover. Huge portions! The service was welcoming & friendly especially the hosts & valet! The restaurant gives off old money vibes and seems like a great place for birthday dinners or business meetings. Very $$$$ pricey!

James C.

Yelp
The first time my wife and I tried this place. The food and service was great, I had the petite filet mignon done Oscar. It was very good and our waiter was good as well. I'm definitely going back

Pam R.

Yelp
One word - AMAZING Everything about this place was enjoyable. The moment my car door was opened by the complimentary valet through our service by our waiter Chris, our experience was exceptional. We booked for our anniversary. Our table was decorated in heart confetti. The sourdough and raisin breads were fabulous. We got the lump crab appetizer that was amazing. We ordered a 3lb lobster and Delmonico steak, which they split for us to share. Absolutely delicious.

Adrian C.

Yelp
It's a nice and upscale steakhouse in Myrtle Beach. You need reservations and better book early. We ordered the Pittsburg style ribeye and filet, very good steaks.

Sly B.

Yelp
Service was excellent as expected for a high end upper priced steakhouse restaurant. Food as also top notch!!!

Sonam D.

Yelp
This place was packed for a random Saturday. Has to wait about 5 mins to be seated. The place was filled and loud. Our server was great... forgot his name. Loved the bread basket! We ordered the salad (family style), it was split in two. Ordered two filets, potatoes & creamed spinach. Filets were cooked well, but lacked flavor. I wish we ordered some sauce to accompany it. The potatoes were filled with what seemed like cheddar cheese. The cheese hardened quick and wasn't for my liking. I would have preferred it completely mixed it. The creamed spinach was perfect. My husband hates spinach but ate this one up! Some sides come in half portions, for two people, half portions are perfect. We ordered their apple dessert... nothing to brag about. A little underwhelming. Seems like the cookie desert was the way to go. Saw more people ordering that.

Pj T.

Yelp
Over priced service was terrible. You can see they want to be Peter Lugers. They are Not

Janelle F.

Yelp
The best food I've ever had. Service was impeccable! I can't wait to visit again! Ambiance was fantastic. I watched some people get the lobster. I can't afford it, but it looked great!

Christine R.

Yelp
Good filet mignon, prices are fair as well, clean & nice atmosphere. Customer service & support staff were excellent as well. Will go back again.

Kelly H.

Yelp
Valet was prompt. Seated on time per reservation. Waiter was great. Caesar Salad was very good. Baked potato was large and hot. My filet was so so. Not the best I have had. It was way too charred and overbearing taste to the meat. Our son cooks a much better steak. The sea bass was good and tasty. The chocolate cake was large and tasty.

Zay M.

Yelp
I came here on 4/18/21 for my birthday dinner. I'm indecisive and did not know where I wanted to go. Luckily, I found this place and it was maybe a 2 minute walk from my hotel. I had eaten not too long ago, so I was trying to push it back at late as possible. All the upscale restaurants closed at 10pm on Sundays. The staff were professionally dressed in suits, even the host. We were given complimentary bread. It was walnut raisin and sour dough bread. For drinks, I got a class of Riesling. My bf got the sidecar, which is a cocktail that consist of henny, lemon juice, and triple sec. Both were great. For entree, I got the petite New York strip, cooked medium well. I got a side of asparagus. Everything on the menu is a la carte. My bf got the sea bass. MP today was $43. My steak was very delicious!!!! It was nice and charred. I got 5 pieces of asparagus and they were decent sized. It came with an hollandaise sauce. It tasted fine. I don't think it was necessary worth $13 though. I was going to get dessert originally but I was full by the end and that because I had eaten about 2 hours earlier, lol. I saw someone getting a butter cake and it looked soooo good! As I'm typing this, I'm hungry and I want it lol. Maybe another time. Our waiter was Jessie and he was fairly attentive. We were there after closing and eventually were the last ones there. They were cleaning up, which is to be expected, but at times, they were loud. I did notice them changing the tablecloths, which is good. Overall, the ambiance was great. The food and drinks were great. I really don't have any major complaints. I understand it's upscale, but it's really expensive for small portions, especially compared to other locations.

Aaron B.

Yelp
The valet is awesome! The service is superb! Thank you Jesse!!! The ambiance is top notch! And the food is out of this world! Don't go to any other steakhouse in town. Go Here!

Dylan S.

Yelp
If you find yourself that is the armpit they call Myrtle Beach... I HIGHLY recommend New York Prime steakhouse. What an absolute gem of a place, from the fresh table bread, to delicious drinks, down to the apps and entrees. We were so impressed with everything we got. Our waiter was so knowledgable and kind with excellent recommendations, I believe his name was Christian. What a guy. We even took desert home that we devoured, great ambiance, excellent spot. Don't think twice, just go.

Lenny L.

Yelp
Top notch steakhouse. From start to finish. Valet guys are professional just like the waiters are. Food from apps to dessert is off the hook. You can't put a price on good food. Well worth the $$$. Don't fill up on the Raisin nut bread. It can easily happen. Sooo gooood

Fred E.

Yelp
Aged Ny StripCenter Cut Filet Great service! Attentive, astute, aware. Food was delicious and prepared to order. I will be back with friends and customers. Mood inside was lively, not too loud for relaxed conversations.

Randy B.

Yelp
This was one of the finest restaurants we've ever eaten in. It is a well oiled machine. From our entrance to our exit, it was fabulous. We sat at the bar for a cocktail. The mixologist was well versed in her profession. When our table was ready, no one called for us, no, they came to us to tell us our table was ready. The tables are well spaced so you don't feel crowded. The servers are dressed in alike in coats and ties. They are all well trained and extremely professional. The servers have helpers to assist in presenting and clearing. Our server was Chase and he was the best. This man has a bright future ahead of him. They have an extensive wine, cocktail, and drink menu. Now for the food. I can only speak to what we had, but everything that passed our table looked unbelievable. We had the Oysters Rockefeller, amazing! The 12oz filet and roasted brussel sprouts, better than amazing. When they presented our steaks, they forgot to bring us steak knives. Not a problem. We used our butter knife, it was that tender and cooked to perfection. The manager, Britz, came by to speak to us and ensure we were being served properly and the food was to our liking. This was not just a brief courtesy call, she stayed and chatted with my wife for a few minutes. Ok, now get this. When we left, the Britz and Chase were waiting at the door to tell how much they appreciated us coming in and tell us goodbye. Really?! You don't get service and appreciation like this every day. I only wish this restaurant was in Huntsville, AL. With that said. If you're going to be in this area, make a reservation at least a week ahead. The locals fill it up fast.

Anthony L.

Yelp
I've been coming to New York Prime for twenty years, I consider it my favorite restaurant in Myrtle Beach. I've been away for about a year and couldn't wait to get back for some great food and a wonderful time, however, apparently there has been a change in the front of the house management, as I didn't recognize any of the host staff. We had an 8:30 PM reservation, got there at 8:20 and we were told our table would be ready soon. In the time I've been patronizing this restaurant, I've never had to wait more than ten minutes. At 9:00, I informed the hostess we were leaving, to which she replied "we just sent you a text that your table is ready." Unfortunately, after having waited forty minutes, my girlfriend was not in the mood to eat dinner and we left. Not the experience I've come to expect from this establishment.

Jeff B.

Yelp
Another good experience at NY Prime. Steve our waiter was fantastic and offered great guidance on the menu. We enjoyed our shrimp appetizer and the oysters Rockefeller appetizer. Steaks were cooked really well, the salads were great and likely the best onion ring you will ever eat. A great selection of wines and drinks. An excellent experience for a party of five on a Saturday night before Valentines. NYP was busy and had an energetic vibe. However, we never felt rushed or overlooked. Great job!
