I came here on 4/18/21 for my birthday dinner. I'm indecisive and did not know where I wanted to go. Luckily, I found this place and it was maybe a 2 minute walk from my hotel. I had eaten not too long ago, so I was trying to push it back at late as possible. All the upscale restaurants closed at 10pm on Sundays.
The staff were professionally dressed in suits, even the host. We were given complimentary bread. It was walnut raisin and sour dough bread.
For drinks, I got a class of Riesling. My bf got the sidecar, which is a cocktail that consist of henny, lemon juice, and triple sec. Both were great.
For entree, I got the petite New York strip, cooked medium well. I got a side of asparagus. Everything on the menu is a la carte. My bf got the sea bass. MP today was $43. My steak was very delicious!!!! It was nice and charred. I got 5 pieces of asparagus and they were decent sized. It came with an hollandaise sauce. It tasted fine. I don't think it was necessary worth $13 though. I was going to get dessert originally but I was full by the end and that because I had eaten about 2 hours earlier, lol. I saw someone getting a butter cake and it looked soooo good! As I'm typing this, I'm hungry and I want it lol. Maybe another time. Our waiter was Jessie and he was fairly attentive.
We were there after closing and eventually were the last ones there. They were cleaning up, which is to be expected, but at times, they were loud. I did notice them changing the tablecloths, which is good.
Overall, the ambiance was great. The food and drinks were great. I really don't have any major complaints. I understand it's upscale, but it's really expensive for small portions, especially compared to other locations.
