Heard from a good friend about this place. I contacted them to see what their pricing and availability was and the response was prompt and full of answers. The kind of answers I wanted to see, very reasonable pricing (is what I thought when I got my response) I set up a meeting and boy am I glad that I did! Not to mention her patience with me. I was getting annoyed with myself, but she kept me focused. I'm very glad that i found this school. Every week I look forward to my class:-) thank you so much New York Stage Of Mind! UPDATE!!! Years later I decided I wanted to learn piano, figured I might as well use the same school I have a history with. It appears you cannot be disappointed with this place, professional, courteous, and thorough. I'll be playin like Elton himself in no time! ( just kidding no one plays like Elton;-p )

I've been here twice on the weekends now. It's a Very nice clean space which we rented to have a small class. Quiet on Sundays. The main room which we rented is able 12 feet wide by thirty feet long. Wood floors and a large mirror add is a room that can be used for dance. The lobby is sunlight.

This venue is an amazing place! We had our daughters 6 year birthday there. They did an Annie theme party and did the girls hair and make up. They even taught the girls a dance from Annie! We had 17 girls there and did a drop off party. The location is great b/c it is close to the train, so it makes it easy for Manhattan families to come to the party. The teachers at NY Stage of Mind were great and had full control of the kids. I would highly recommend this place for your next birthday! Plus it is a super affordable venue!

An absolutely amazing studio! Having Melanie as an instructor helped me find my voice. The studio is quiet which makes it super helpful in being able to hear yourself. She truly takes the time to contour the lessons so you are able to get the maximum benefit from her lessons. I'm now hitting pitches I never thought possible. Thank you so much Melanie! I look forward to many more lessons with you.

That s an amazing school - my granddaughter took dance and singing lessons this fall and she loved it !! She absolutely wants to go back in January !!! Very professional teachers and great location.
