I was greeted by the cashier. I told her this was my first time here. She treated me with royalty. The food is extremely delicious. The atmosphere is fresh and clean. I love this place.

Food is always delicious and plentiful!! Ordered a birthday lunch today and when I put "Happy Birthday" in the made for section, I wasn't expecting someone to take the time to write it on the slice of cake container. Thank you for that Newk's!! It's the little things! ❣️

I come into this Newk’s often since I live so close by. The staff is always exceptionally friendly and accommodating every time I go in. Hayley (I think that’s her name) is always so attentive, kind, and professional. She’s always eager to help. The food is always delicious too! I frequent for lunch and always get the pizza. It’s consistently amazing! 😊

Just moved into our new home from out of state and ordered Newk’s because we were exhausted and didn’t want to cook nor did we know where to go for quick healthy meal. Ordered at 3:36pm (on a Saturday), got order as promised at 3:54. Zero complaints, food was hot, tasty and good portion size. We’ve eaten at Newk’s all over the country and this by far was honestly our absolute best experience! Thanks Newk’s for a warm welcome and hello Texas! 🇨🇱

Edited to update…So sad!! Everything was awful except the potato soup. - The sandwich was soggy on the inside and too hard on the outside to even take a bite! The turkey is so minimal and doesn’t even cover the bread! - The tomato soup - I don’t know how to describe it but something was so wrong. It was brown! Like the color of pinto beans?? Tasted disgusting and I’m not usually one to be that harsh but wow. - The Greek salad…had potential but they drowned it in very VERY potent dressing. It was inedible. $23 for a half sandwich/half soup and a half salad/ half soup. One item was edible. Walked away from the rest. SO DISAPPOINTED! Sandwich lovers beware. Second time to come here and get an overpriced (albeit delicious) sandwich where they skimp on the sandwich fixings.

Been having lunch here every day for a week and a half. Salads, sandwiches and personal pizzas oh yeah and amazing soups is what they offer. The sandwiches (Italian, Newks Q as well as their spin on a Philly cheesesteak) they are very tasty, a very well balanced flavor profile. Same with the pizzas they are good thin crust and enough for lunch. The salads are mixed, you get a big bowl of salad with all the ingredients plus the dressing mixed in. A little pet peeve of mine, I get a salad and the dressing sits on top and the bottom is dry. This is properly tossed. The staff in this location is super nice and friendly

A couple months ago my husband and I stopped in and it was fantastic. We were coming pretty regular but we've been noticing things here just aren't right. More often the paper products in the women's restroom are not checked and refilled. I stopped in today and first thing I had to let someone know. It isn't just paper but also sometimes cracker and bread sticks napkins etc. Last week it was pepper grinders, not a one to be found. The employees seem to be in on a thin schedule. When we first started coming there was a manager easily available, That guy seemed to care but he is gone I think. He was transferred from Houston area. He convinced me to try Newks again because I was very reluctant when it was what my husband wanted to eat. The same things I was telling him about why we quit coming to the location near our old house is happening again but at this store. Anyway I haven't seen him in a while. Maybe that is why it seems so downhill lately. The whole atmosphere is way off anymore. Tables dirty and unkept. Just not what we want to experience when putting down 40-50 on lunch.

Food is pretty good. It's got a good variety of sandwiches, soups, salads and pizza. They also have a variety of dietary restrictions they can meet. The prices are moderate and the service on two occasions has been pretty underwhelming. I also sat at a table that had a broken foot that should be taken off of the floor. Would I come again yes, would I come for the hospitality or service no. To go might be the best option.

This place has great food! And I love that they come to my car. Nice and convenient.

Ate there and my sandwich was given to someone else, took 25 minutes to get my food when there was only 5 tables full. I had roast beef and cheddar cheese and the roast beef was overcooked!! Not satisfied at all

I placed an order online for curbside pickup. Ordering was easy and simple. Pickup time was 10 minutes. Arrived at curbside parking in about 6 minutes. Sent message on the app saying I had arrived. Restaurant worker brought food outside. Everything was as ordered -- half chicken bacon ranch sandwich with a bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo. The gumbo is fantastic. No seafood (don't like seafood) in the gumbo but plenty of flavors and spices. I will be ordering that again.

I love the Spicy Shrimp pizza, paired with half Caesar salad it is a great meal. This location is always so helpful and my food is so good!

Food was tasty and service was decent but could be a little faster. Overall experience was good. The place was clean and nice looking. I would visit again.

I've had Newks from other locations. I ordered a pizza and Mac and cheese and they all tasted the same. Like a burnt oven. There was no flavor, I also ordered for curbside pickup, but it seemed no one was doing curbside? I had to go in and get my food, which i don't mind. But it would have been nice to know beforehand. Not sure how long my food was left to get picked up. If someone checks in and they're told someone will be right out, there should be some communication. I could look past all that if the food was good. Weird aftertaste.

Another absolutely delicious meal from Newk's, I just hate they closed the one that was closer to me, but still worth the trip. Great service, and easy to order from the app, easy to park and check in on the app for the food to e delivered to me.

First time here. The server was awesome, helping us make our choices of what we all wanted. We have all 4 of our grandchildren with us ... lots of choices!

If you want the worst mac and cheese of your life. Eat here! The service was not welcoming . Floors were dirty. Trash trash and booty.

Food was good. Love when you have friends or family with that there is a variety to choose from. They were very helpful, fast, and clean. Fast casual and better than greasy burger and fries that have possibly been sitting

We decided to eat here since I was craving soup! I had my fingers crossed that they served half soup/sandwich and THEY DO! They even serve half salad/sandwich combo too. You could even buy a whole sandwich and get half of another side item. Lots of combinations depending on what you're feeling! Great to know so I don't have to scramble for Jason's deli or even Panera! We arrived about an hour before closing yet everything was stocked and tea tasted freshly made. Our food came out in a good amount of time. I ordered loaded potato soup with chicken bacon club sandwich for my half pair, I devoured it! It was so delicious. I saw they had a cheesesteak sandwich maybe I'll try next time, but the order I got tonight was on point. Thanks Newk's! My family enjoyed our meal together!

This place has the BEST club sandwich I've ever had!! The salads are great too! Food is fresh and yummy

Ok i finally went back to try another item. This time i went for the new pizza, the BBQ Chicken Bacon Ranch. It was really tasty and had just the rite amount of ingredients on it for the size. The only thing i didn't really care for was the crust. Tasteless and way to floury for my taste. I guess this is one restaurant that is just not for me.

This place is horrible every time we order for the office the order is always messed up. This last time they gave a bowl of fruit that was rotten and gave us the wrong sandwich. It's ridiculous how bad the service is. Wish we could get a Jason's deli or Panera close by.

We used to frequent this place and it was one of our favorites! For whatever reason, we have not been here in about a year. Friday night and we got home too late to cook. And decided to order take out from Newks. I attempted to order online but it wasn't working so I called in and a computer robot AI took my order. It was cumbersome at first as I had 4 meals to order. Me and the robot agreed on an order and it was submitted. I arrived and went in, waited several min and a young girl eventually greeted me. I said I had an order to get and she pointed to a rack and started to walk away. I stopped her and said it wasn't paid for as I was sure my order was the one right next to her. During this odd exchange another customer (lady) walks in and an newks employee appears and interrupts my checkout process asking me if "she was with me" it was so weird I really just ignored him hoping he would figure it out and help his customer. I felt like if I stopped talking to the girl checking me out she may get bored and walk off again! I couldn't risk it. If you can navigate the artificial intelligence and survive the low level customer service human experience, the food is really good. 2/5 stars for the process plus one for the food. 3/5 stars total. If I eat here again, I need to remember to dine in only.

Sandwiches are okay. Bread isn't great and they only let you pick from white or wheat bread. Hot club sandwiches is ehhh. Lobster and crab bisque was mainly crab, I didn't get any lobster. My friends sandwich came out wrong and then they forgot about making her correct one. We had to flag someone down to ask for her sandwich. So while everyone already finished their meals, our friend just started hers. I think we probably won't come back here for lunch.

Slow service, food was okay. The only good part was the breadsticks and the cool cups they give you. Overall it's overpriced.

The system was vaguely challenging to navigate, and doesn't offer as many vegetarian options as I might have preferred, but the careful and caring service made up for it. I'm planning to check out the Newk's Eatery in Austin.

This is a good a spot for good fresh healthy food. I got the crab bisque and 1/2 sandwich combo. Mom Got a ham and potato soup combo they have ice tea sweetened with Splenda which is perfect for my pre-diabetic mom or anyone for that matter who doesn't want to use sugar they also have sweetened with sugar or unsweetened. They have a club you can join that will offer you discounts and I think even a free meal on your birthday

This is my new lunch spot they have healthy options and fatty as well if you want to splurge a bit. So far I've had their soups salads and sandwiches and I have loved them all. I even like the customer service it's a great place to spend my lunch breaks.

My friends had talked about this place for like a year, and I finally decided to branch out and try something new. I'm so mad at myself for putting it off for so long. I LOVE a good sandwich, and Newks was SO good. I got the portobella veggie sandwich and g*d D*MN it was good. I was anxious when I first walked in, but they have a giant menu, and the staff were calm and comforting. The food came out fast, and as I left, the register person said "bye sally!" And it was so wholesome. I loved it.

Came here to try something new but we really wish we didn't... The service was great. Everyone was super friendly and we got served quickly, but the food was not what i was expecting but also not terrible. It was edible but not good enough to finish.... I got a Philly cheesesteak, and I'm pretty sure it was just grilled roast beef. They really overdid it on the mayo and some other sauce that tasted so strange to me... my sandwich kinda tasted like it was microwaved, Not sure if that was the case though. I got a Caesar salad but the lettuce had a bunch of brown and red spots. I could just tell it wasn't fresh and very overdressed. I was really disappointed. Maybe I just didn't order the right thing? My fiancé got the turkey sandwich and he some what liked it just the same thing about tasting microwaved... but the macaroni and cheese was great! The store was very clean, and the restrooms are very clean, too. I totally want to come back and give this place another shot. You never know, they were probably just swamped with DoorDashes and stuff so they had to rush....

I use to live this location but I won't be returning here again. I arrived at 2 pm and ordered a sandwich and fruit cup to go. The dining room was less then 20% full, I sat down and waited for my order and observed. The kitchen staff were all standing around talking and no one was making orders. Almost 25 minutes later after I checked with the girl at the register as to where my order was they finally started the order. The manager was sitting in a booth near by chatting with someone ignoring the situation. The only reason for the 2 stars is my sandwich and fruit cup were good when I finally got them and rushed home to quickly eat and get back to work.

This is my favorite sandwich shop, and if I could ever get over ordering the delicious Q sandwich, I will try the other eats they offer! The Q stole my heart via my belly, and I have to admit, I can't stop thinking about it. I really appreciate the fact I can choose my side item too, sometimes I go super healthy and get the fruit cut, and other times I gotta have my Cheetos. Did you know some sandwich shops don't even give you a side item?!? One more reason to check out the menu at Newks!

Felt very uncomfortable , had a very racist vibe from the very beginning. First time at Newk's and didnt know how to order. There was a register but no one there. I approached the kitchen bar but was ignored. I just wanted to ask how to order. Waited a minute and turned away guy came right after me and they greeted him and asked if they could help him. I felt so degraded by that. Everyone after that got greeted when they walked in. Everyone working there was Caucasian and every customer that walked in was caucasian. Im Hispanic by the way. :(

Not sure why the rating is so low. It is an eatery after all and the place exceeded my expectations. I had an amazing Italian sandwich and tried my wife stunning Portobello sandwich. Prices are good, speed of service was decent and all the food I saw looked well made. I will be back!

Love their salads, but this is the second time I've got my order with no breadsticks. When trying to order online, there is no place to put them,call the store,put it on Uber,still no breadsticks.

Absolutely not. Long story short, don't go here if you or anyone in your party has any food allergies or dietary restrictions. The woman who took my order was very polite. She removed the cheese and butter from my veggie pizza order without issue. When the waiter brought the pizza out, it looked fine. I didn't notice the cheese until after I took a couple bites. It was under the very large sliced vegetables. It stretched and was very obvious when I removed the veggies. I double-checked what a regular veggie pizza was supposed to look like, and it looked like it had cheese under the vegetables in the menu photos. I went up to the front to ask for a refund. The young woman at the register didn't know how to void an order, so she needed to get someone else. Another employee asked if I wanted a refund or wanted it remade. Before I could finish my answer, she interrupted me and snapped, "Or both?" The manager came up to give me my refund. He was very rude and acted as if I was putting him out. No one apologized. I was honestly embarrassed. I usually don't ask for refunds or remakes due to fear of attitudes like this. I was eating with a group of people and didn't want to bring attention to myself, I just wanted to quickly and quietly get my refund and go sit down. The rude reactions from the employees regarding the kitchen's mistake were very upsetting. I had an event across the street and couldn't return because I started to feel sick.

I LOVE Newk's food. However, our visit to this location was subpar. Food was great, fast and fresh. We couldn't find a table despite many open ones because 8-10 we not bussed. We needed up cleaning off a table for ourselves. Also, this is the first food service business I've seen where NONE of the staff where wearing masks.

Food is tasty. Curbside pickup was delivered without any of the sides we ordered. Very frustrating. Need to review orders before they are delivered.

Nice neighborhood style eatery. Good selection of soup, salads and sandwiches. What I like about Newk's is that they offer pizza as well. Nice thin New York style dough on the pizza with a slight crunch. I had the Sicilian pizza which was topped with pepperoni, capicola, and salami. Lobster and crab bisque was delicious also. I was very impressed with the service though. The manager was really engaging. Since this was our first time he was very helpful with navigating the menu and made a few suggestions. I even saw him walking around from table to table filling customer's water. That was a nice touch.

The food was good. I had lobster bisque and 1/2 turkey avocado sandwich. However, the girl up front who greets and takes your order appears to HATE her job. My young waiter didn't appear to be happy either. What's up Newk's management?

We went for the first time and ordered a couple of sandwiches and kids meals to go. When we got home we discovered our order was wrong. We even double checked that we had everything but we didn't actually look at the inside of the sandwiches. They tasted good but it wasn't what we wanted. I think we might go one more time to try the original sandwiches we ordered.

First time I ate here the food was great but the booths and most of the tables were dirty. Second time I ate here there were plenty of clean tables but the food was not good. The bread on my turkey and swiss scratched the roof of my mouth and my toddler's grilled cheese was also roof scratching crunchy. They didn't leave us silverware so I had to go ask. The silverware didn't come with a spoon so I had to feed my tot applesauce with a fork....fun times. They also didn't have kid straws or kid cups for the milk so he had to drink from the carton with an extra long straw. Not kid friendly and inconsistent food.

Being stuck at home, and wanting to support local restaurants, I am trying new places. I kept seeing Newk's pop up on doordash but had never seen it let alone tried it. I have never read any reviews or anything until AFTER I ordered and decided I needed to leave a review. Imagine my surprise at the negative reviews that I have found after my own experience was quite superior to those before me. I have eaten at hole-in-the-walls and some of the fanciest places in town, and this place simply is not bad at all. I ordered a club sandwich that I tailored to my liking with your basic ingredients, removing only honey-mustard and adding pickles and avocado, and I caved for a slice of chocolate cake. The timing from placing order to delivery was probably about 25-30 minutes, which is good because I live about 12-15 minutes away depending on the lights and traffic. The sandwich arrived warm and looked amazing. I cut it into smaller portions as it was quite well-stuffed. It was absolutely amazing! I have had deli sandwiches from many places, my usual favorite being McAlister's, but this was even better. The bread was perfectly toasted, making that crunch to smushy insides ratio just perfect. All of the meats and cheese were very tasty. I just can't find a negative thing to say. The chocolate cake is pretty good too. I can't say it's the best I have ever had because it is my FAVORITE desert and I have had some of the most amazing chocolate cakes as well as some of the WORST in my day, but this is a pretty good chocolate cake for the price and establishment where it is from. Moist and has a pretty good ratio of cake to icing that is so important!! I hope that more people will give this place a chance, as it could just be the typical issue of negative-nancy's complaining and not enough of the positives coming onto Yelp anymore.

I've never left a negative review on Yelp. I think it's fair to say, for a 9.50$ "Turkey Breast" sandwich, this is a terrible disappointment. I got home, after waiting an excruciatingly long time (only a handful of others in the restaurant) to find a piece of toast with one slice of thin limp lunchmeat and a very sad unripened tomato. I actually got back into my truck, drove back to Newk's and asked for the manager. The manager (very nicely) told me that they only put 4oz. of turkey on each sandwich. Then sent me on my way. Rather than embarrass the young manager and stand there and explain that this was not 4oz or that the tomato was gross, and the entire sandwich and experience was sub par, I just decided to warn the rest of you not to spend your time or your money here. This restaurant obviously has zero interest in customer satisfaction, or quality control.

Hey Newks, I want to be understanding with everything that is going on , but your food quality has to be on point. Here is a picture picture of my daughters fruit cup. The strawberry is translucent and the rest is terrible quality. To top it of there was a fruit fly on the fruit. Where there is one there is many.

My buddy and I have been here about 3 times now. The food isnt too bad. Nothing over the top and nothing horrible. It is one of the few places you can actually dine in at. I've had the pizza and a sandwich so far. I went with 3 stars because I haven't really had enough to eat there to give an accurate score. What I have had so far has been good. The staff is VERY friendly and helpful during all this crazy pandemic. We will continue to have lunch there for this very reason.

We enjoy New's occasionally for lunch in day I'm in the mood for soup and salad. It's always clean and great for take out. Love the condiment bar. The roasted garlic gets added to everything we order. And the skinny bread sticks are always good.

This Newk's location was my choice for lunch on this day. I went in and picked up my Simply Salad w/Salmon to go because I had a scheduled conference call at 12:30. Online ordering gives you the option of choosing a pickup time or ASAP 10 minutes. I chose the 10-minute option. Upon arriving, I checked to see if my order was waiting, and it wasn't ready. I stood there for about 5 minutes before anyone came over to assist me. Once the manager came over, he told me that they were cooking my salmon, and it shouldn't take too much longer. After standing and waiting for another 3 minutes, another manager John came over, and I explained what the manager before him told me. Finally, after waiting for a total of 15 minutes, my lunch arrived, and I was on my way. When I got back to work, I looked at my salad, and the lettuce wilted, and carrots looked dry as if they had been sitting out for days. I called and spoke with the manager John, and he immediately replaced my salad and credited back my account. I enjoy eating at Newk's, but this was not the first time, I've ordered a salad, and the lettuce was wilted and brown. But they never fail to make it right. My only suggestion is to be sure to check your to-go order before leaving.

I was very disappointed with the meal last night. My husband and I ordered the farmers market sandwich which was vegetables and cheese and bread. We are not eating dairy so we asked for no cheese and I asked them to substitute bell peppers for onions. They were happy to do the substitution but when I got the sandwich I couldn't believe the size of it we each got four leaves of baby spinach (husband got 2) two small slices of squash and pepper! I mean... I don't understand the skimpiness in the vegetable sandwich which probably cost them less. Never again. (I felt like I was paying for a piece of bread!). To bad, we used to eat here all the time.

I don't know if they changed managers or simply worked on the feedback provided, but since my last review I've tried their service again and I was very happy with it. The food was very good and consistent, so was the service. I'm updating my review.

After finishing a workout, I showed up to the restaurant with my S.O. ready for a healthy meal. We walked in and proceeded to have multiple employees just look at us. No one said anything to us, no one asked us if we wanted to order or had an order to pick up, no one even waved. After waiting for a while and still being looked at then ignored, we gave up and walked out. To have employees walk by you and not say a single thing felt very disrespectful to us. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service, but feel relieved I didn't have to burden them with doing their job.

Never recovered from Covid? Condiment station gone. Miss the pickles and salad add-ons. Fort Worth menu is behind register and can't see when trying to order as people stand in front of it. App to order defaults to a 20% tip so be careful. Shouldn't have to tip for something you have to pick up.
