Be patient with the staff - they’re doing their best! Service was a little slow due to low staffing but once we were served, it was great. Special Poke tuna bowl - delicious and well priced at $16. Kids meals were good. Nachos good. For a family of four to eat for a $100 (with drinks) is pretty good these days. Always have loved the art and decor here. Well done!

1 beer stop right before close, so, while rushed, I really enjoyed the spot. Great layout and amazing artwork. The beer selection was plentiful, and the IPA I had was actually really good.

We’ve determined that there are a few really nice, casual dining places here in Newport. Newport Brewing Company is one of them! First off, the murals in this establishment are fabulous! Casey was our server. She’s everything you want in in a server; bright, bubbly, knowledgeable and super efficient! We shared an order of waffle cut, sweet potato fries, and recommend them! I had the Elote Bowl and it was exceptional. Mr. Wonderful had the fish sandwich. We had a 4 flight and it was hard to decide which beer to pick - since they were all so damn delicious! Great service, awesome atmosphere, beer, and food! Don’t miss this spot,

Hands down the best place to eat in Newport, OR. The food is amazing every single time! Big props to the chefs. I’m not a beer drinker but I come here every few weeks for the food and to bring my friends who are beer drinkers. My favorite dish is the pollo asado tacos. Incredible flavors.

I call this The Battle of the Bay! It is Newport Brewing Company vs. Rogue Brewery! Newport Brewing Company wins! They just released their Tropic Thunder Double Hazy IPA on draft! It is the best beer I have ever had! It is perfect partner to the Carne Asada Tater Tots! It has a light hearted, coastal mural vibe going! I love the outdoor seating area too! Congratulations!

Wow! Great beer and food and outstanding service. Big beer selection and a menu to boast. Seems like a big Oregon State bar but beyond friendly locals.

Great! Not only the food but the service is great. The food is beyond what you expect from a brew house. The staff is super friendly. We had the Totchos which I highly recommend. And the spicy crispy chicken salad and the crispy chicken sandwich. The spicy chicken in the salad was very unique and not what I expected. It was delicious. I would almost describe it as a spicy teriyaki. It was amazing. We also had the new Portlandia IPA and loved the flavor. So much so we bought a pack to bring home. I highly recommend this place when you are in Newport.

This place is fantastic. The food is more upscale for a bar, at a good price. The cocktails and beer selection is good and well priced, especially during happy hour. The music is an awesome mix primarily consisting on 90s rock and alternative, giving it an amazing atmosphere. Folks here are friendly, and did I mention food and drink are delicious. A new place in Newport that met and exceeded my expectation.

Got here on a late Tuesday evening on Thanksgiving week. Ambiance was great and was intimate enough for us to have a family dinner even if it was a brewery. We had the following: Cajun Calamari Wings Nachos Triple Pork Tacos Fish and Chips - Halibut Sweet Potato Fries Caesar Salad 3 beers Food was good. Portions were also good We ended up not being able to finish to the large nachos but no complaints from us. Total was $145 before tip. Everyone was satisfied and filled. We were a happy group when we left.

I have never been a burger guy. But when I heard about this one burger at NBC, I knew I had to come. From the menu: "Bacon, Peanut Butter, Apricot Jam, Fried Jalapeno, Shredded Lettuce, Brioche Bun" I mean, hot damn. This thing delivered and was as every bit delicious as the ingredients suggest. Now I like a burger.

Tasty experience. We started with the beer cheese nachos featuring carne asada. The meat was so flavorful. They were piled high and loaded with stuff. Delicious and finger licking. We both enjoyed a bowl of clam chowder and hubby topped his with shrimp. Both pretty good and super filling. Warmed us up on this cold rainy day. Great variety of drinks and taps to choose from. Cool ambience with plenty of seating.

Newport Brewing Company offers a variety of food and drink options, a lively atmosphere, and a friendly wait staff. I am no stranger to craft breweries having visited so many, but also having brewed many myself. This brew pub has a variety of beers to choose from, but I was disappointed to hear that over a third of their menu was unavailable. Their cocktail menu is also nothing short of intriguing. I was pleasantly surprised by the food options. Newport is a seafood town, and you really should try some local fresh catches, but in addition to seafood Anchor offers all sorts of other cuisines for both starters and entrees. The ambiance is almost that of a brewery mixed with a sports bar. They do close relatively early, but it was still a great experience, and the server was incredibly hospitable and helpful.

We are always looking for some good food on the coast and love a brewery, so we decided to give Newport Brewing a try. The inside is really cool, lots of sea based murals, big tables, and TVs. The service was good, nothing special but friendly and we got everything we needed. I went with the fish sandwich, which was fried rockfish with slaw and tartar sauce. It was good! I would definitely order it again. I really loved their fry sauce, a really nice touch. My daughter went with a burger, which she really enjoyed. My husband went with the Kung Pao Calamari bowl, which he enjoyed, he only wished it had a little less sauce, but said he would totally get it again. There were a lot of tables with the chicken wings, which looked delicious, so something to start with next time for sure. You can tell everything is made fresh in house, so it seems like you can't really go wrong here. Overall, we will be back! This will be a welcome addition to any trip we take to Newport in the future.

Our second time here and the food has been great each time! More importantly, the service has been excellent!

My fiance and I went there last Saturday after our planned dining restaurant, Thai Port, was closed for vacation. We were pleasantly surprised at the overall experience - the food and ambiance exceeded our expectations. Service, however was mediocre. There were 3 wait staff and most of the time they were talking behind the counter, either to themselves or the one or two people eating at the counter. We had to wait a while to place our order, and the food took longer than expected to arrive. And we had to wait a while to get the check when we were finished eating. I had to flag them down two times, once to place our order and again to get our check. The food was exceptional, however. I had the daily special, which was a cheesesteak. I'm from the East Coast so I know how a cheesesteak should taste. It was very very good. Thinly sliced beef with onions, roasted peppers and a yummy melted cheese. Perfect roll that didn't fall apart. The accompanying fries were also awesome. Crispy and flavorful with a soft interior. Pretty much perfect. My fiance had a cowboy burger, which had 2 cheeses, crispy onions and a light BBQ sauce. She's pretty picky when it comes to her burgers, but she really liked it. I had an amber beer, which was great. The interior design was perfect for a brew pub. Modern and bright, clean, lovely murals, and changing digital pictures of the area at each table next to the wall. Beautiful stylish hanging lights. Their choice of music (oldies hits) was great and not too loud. Besides improving the service (which would have garnered a 5 star rating from me if it was better), they urgently should install some lighting in their parking lot. It was pitch black out there and could be unsafe for patrons. We will definitely go back (we live in Florence) because the food and drink are the stars. I asked the server how long they'd been there and she said 5 years, which was surprising, because I don't see them advertise on Facebook or elsewhere. The place is family friendly, which is a plus. They just need to tweak a few things to be amazing.

The food was amazing. We tried the totchos for our appetizer the beer cheese sauce with the cilantro lime crema was flavorful, the tots were perfectly crunchy till the end then they got a bit soggy but still tasted alright. For dinner we got 2 kids popcorn chicken with fruit. The chicken was perfectly fried and the chicken was not dried out. As well as the elote bowl was very fresh and light until I got to the rice. I didn't care for the rice was a bit over cooked and gummy the rest of the bowl was good. We also got the rodeo burger with fries, the fries were the best part there was way too much cheese on the burger. It was a juicy smash burger wish we could have tasted the meet through the cheese. Their drink menu is well crafted and thoughtful. We were served quickly and every thing came out warm. They do a good job at touching your table. We really enjoyed the ambiance in the restaurant it felt as if we were near the ocean with the under the water murals, the tv's at each of the tables with pictures of the near by light house playing while you are eating.

Both the food and the beer were great. But the service was fantastic! Autumn was my server, and she was attentive, upbeat, knowledgeable, and hardworking. She really makes the customers feel like she cares if they have a good experience. The restaurant was busy but she gave the perfect amount of attentiveness. This restaurant is lucky to have her because I go to dozens of restaurants a months and she stands out as unique because you can tell she cares.

Stayed in Newport a few days and came here with my wife for dinner and a few beers. First off, the beers were solid. I tried several. The hazy was very good and I'm not normally a hazy guy. The Dungeoness ipa was good, as well as the stout. The tangerine wheat was just ok, I wouldn't order it again. And then they had a guest mango sour on tap that was very good too! Good enough that I ordered it a second time when we came back two nights later. And yes, we came back two nights later, because the food was very good too. Not too pricy, good portions. The first night I had the pulled pork grilled cheese and some clam chowder. The grilled cheese had a mustard on it that balanced the flavors perfectly. The chowder was solid too. Wife got the elote bowl. It was pretty good, we both wished there was more cotija cheese, but other than that, she enjoyed it. The next time, I got the Rodeo Burger with fries. Just a good bbq burger, nothing too fancy. And then the wife got the calimari bowl. It was MASSIVE. She loved it, I ate her leftovers the next day and still didn't finish it all. Service was friendly. Looks like they have some outdoor seating in front next to the parking lot. The inside has some cool art on the walls. The chairs sit high up and are pretty comfy. Friendly atmosphere overall. This is about as rock-solid of an experience as you can ask out of a brewery. Nothing blew me away, but everything was just good! I'll come back here if we stay in Newport again.

Good food and brews. The staff were great. Came on slow day so we got all the attention we needed. Staff was great with my toddler. Great murals to bring nice color to the restaurant. Huge bar with nice lights and under bar hooks for you bags. Great location, as it sits just off the main tourist drag. Close to smell the water but too close to traffic and noise. Small outdoor seating with covered tables.

How often do you find a brewery where the beer is just as good as the food? This gem just might be that treasure of a find. The fried fish was delicious-- fresh, not too much breading, just perfect fries; crispy and perfectly cooked. The blackened tuna wasn't too much, perfectly balanced with the Gochugang sauce, not to worry, not too spicy just right ---feeling a little bit like Goldilocks here, to find great beer and great food in a pub where we can relax on the porch with our dogs, the server brings water dishes out to take care of the pups. I think we found a little slice of heaven. I have a sneaking suspicion that this is where the locals go....ssshhhh, don't tell anyone.

Newport is our first stop on our nine day road trip. The service was amazing. Staff was attentive but not smothering. We ordered Cajun calamari super light batter, Cajun seasoning was just right. The garlic aïol was super flavorful and compliments the calamari. My mom has carne asada ( thought I got a picture but didn't oops). Three generously filled tacos, Tender meat was solid My daughter had the miso glazed wings, the sauce is sticky and flavorful and seriously a must order. I had fish and chips ( I had my wisdom teeth out and can't eat anything super hard or crunchy right now). The batter is the same as in the calamari. Super light and let the fish really shine. The fries were solid my daughter ate them I tried a two for the review. I don't typically order fish and chips because it's heavy and this is not heavy at all. The house made tartar sauce is so yummy get extra. I had a passion fruit mojito. The sweet yet tart passion fruit purée, fresh mint a great way to start our spring break road trip. The ambiance is Industrial meets beach vibes. They have surf board cut outs. Lighthouse and fish murals. For it being Industrial it's not super Loud. They have night selection of IPA and beer.

Mixed experience. One dish was amazing, the Kung Pao Bowl and we'd order that again (and again). Another dish was solid, though not particularly memorable (Catch of the Day bowl). Beer was also good, which is pretty darn important for a brewery. Several types and I enjoyed each IPA I sampled. Also nice that the sample menu is pick-what-you-want. The negative was the kids food. It did not seem like it was made in-house. I'm pretty sure the max and cheese was Kraft or similar and also pretty sure the chicken strips were frozen from a bag. A 0/5 for kids menu and I assume we would have been better off getting either the entree mac-n-cheese or entree burger and splitting it for our kids. Interior bar is large and TVs at each table could make this a good spot to watch a game. They also have patio seating.

The fish tacos are AMAZING! My father in law loves the pbj burger. The service is slow but worth it.

Food and service were great! Apparently you've got to arrive early, as there was a continual line for lunch Sunday. But busy as they were, they were very friendly and our food came out fast. The menu was different than the last posted on Yelp, it seems they've changed it a bit within the last month. We ordered a burger with fries and a chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, as well as a Cesar side salad. The sandwiches had fabulous flavor, and although the sweet potatoes were good, the thin, hand cut fries were a standout. Not to mention the salad, very tasty dressing. We really enjoyed our meal, I can see why they get great reviews. The place is cool, large bar area but for how popular they are they could use a bigger dining room! Fun decor, and everything was very clean. We will definitely return!

I had a Southwest Salad that was good with a generous portion. My husband and adult son both had specialty burgers. They said they were good, but nothing special for as much as they cost. Beware, if you choose the fruit cup for the kids' meal, it is a large portion: 1/2 an apple and half an orange, but they are in big slices. It would be much better to have them cut in small bite-sized pieces for kids. The mocktails are not worth the $6 plus price. They were like watered down lemonade with club soda. And another thing to note is that refills (even of soda) are not free. They charge you full price for each refill.

Good service enjoyed the different beers on tap . Food was good for this type of place . A slow day . I think good vibes on weekends.

Best clam chowder around! Our family came in on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was in full swing. Even still we were seated fairly quickly. We ordered the pretzel, fish and chips, clam chowder and cheese burgers for the kids. All delicious!! The pretzel was freshly baked and a great size for all of us. The mustard sauce and cheese that came with it were good! The halibut fish and chips were so delicious- crispy and tender on the inside. The fries were thick and flavorful! The clam chowder was the best around. We tried it at every place we have stopped at and this is it. Look no further! Dip the pretzel in it for your dining pleasure! Beer we had the Tangerine crush- yum, and the surfs up lager - crisp and light! Service from Autumn was excellent! She checked on us several times which is a huge plus for us. We find that we always need something and with busy establishments we can never get servers to come back. Autumn was the best- just the right amount of check in. She also asked how the food was at the end which I always appreciate. Ambiance was perfect for this evening. Not too loud and not too busy. The murals on the wall were beautifully painted. Every seat was a 6 seater in the front so perfect for groups. A few two seaters in the back and a large bar area. Food- Delicious, Service- attentive, Ambiance- great!

Good selection of Newport Brewing beers and guest breweries on tap. Fish & chips crisp w light batter. Chicken wings crisp and great house sauce. I like sitting outside Patio service is good. Sometimes slow but staff is running inside and out.

Had a very nice dinner here. The peanut butter burger was tasty and the tots were well seasoned/crispy. Service was good and food came out fairly quick!

Great food and atmosphere - the Dungeness IPA quickly became my favorite, and I live in Bend Or. where we have plentiful IPAs! Poke bowl was to die for. The fish and chips were delish and my kids LOVED their grilled cheese and cheeseburger!

Great Service! Very Good Food and nicely decorated. Comfortable place for beers and a meal. We popped in midday and found plenty of room and a welcoming staff. Even got to chat with the chef for a bit. Burgers and sandwiches are great. Plenty of food, cold beers and delicious Chowda!

I would come back just for the pretzel! So yummy!! The service was really good and location was easy to get to and easy parking. Giving 4 stars because for just two of us and no drinks it was over $60 which seemed like a lot

First timers here. Was quite surprised how good it was. We sat outside so we could bring our dog. The food and beer were very good.

Great experience at Newport Brewing Company, all of us had great food, sports on tv, good drinks. The Kung Pao Calamari Bowl was amazing, so good!! I would order it again tomorrow. The crab taster flight is a great name for a flight, but the crab board it came out on is a nice touch. Definitely recommend

I really liked their clam chowder! It's got a bit of a peppery kick at first but delicious. I'd order it again. We also ordered the waffle cut sweet potato fries, burger and sea food linguine. All were happy with orders. We ended with the Churros for a sweet treat, pretty good . Nice setting beautiful murals. Great parking.

Tasty beer and great food await you at Newport Brewing Company. Located not far from the marina, they have indoor and outdoor seating or takeout as well. The clam chowder here is our favorite of all we tried on our Oregon Coast vacation, and we tried a lot. The fish & chips are excellent! Lightly breaded, thinly-cut rockfish, and deliciously thin, crispy fries. The seasonal catch bowl is fresh and super delicious, and all the beers we tried are excellent. We will be back the next time we're in Newport!

It's really seriously definitely legit. Can't ask for more. I catch and cook my own and this is still a treat. First time and I'll forever be a fan. Gotta try the pretzel, and the pale ale is superb.

Just OK. They were out of their flagship beer, and two of the other five were good. Employees seemed disinterested in being at work. Snack of tater tots was mediocre. We don't plan to return.

My family and I came here cause we wanted a snack before dinner and ordered 4 appetizers. Sweet potatoes fries, nachos, pretzel and calamari. Everything was good however the pretzel and calamari were standouts. Super good and would definitely come back. Service and vibes were good as well.

Beer is good. Service is so slow, we haven't bothered to try the food. It was not busy, and there were 3 servers. Watched food sit in the window getting cold.

Very nice local brewery in Newport, Oregon. Love their double Hazy IPA and peanut stout beers. Sitting outside the patio and you can see Newport Bridge. Strongly suggest to order their calamari (perfect crispy deep-fried and delicious Cajun seasoning) probably is the best one I have ever had so far to my opinion!!! Strongly recommended for anyone who is looking for a great local brewery in Newport, Oregon.

Good Beers... but food was a little disappointing! For being next to the ocean I supposed they had better sea food, so seafood tacos weren't good but the steak tacos were great!

After a morning of kayaking Yaquina Bay and walking the shops on the bay front, we were hungry. After trying the lackluster "famous" chowder at Mo's the previous evening, I didn't have high hopes. Welp, Newport Brewing killed it. It was so flavorful and full, and I mean FULL of clams. So happy I ordered a bowl instead of a cup. I slammed it. I also ordered a side salad but was so full from my beer and soup I couldn't eat it. Cajun Calamari was ok. The kids chicken tenders was HUGE and delicious (yes, I did steal a bite from my six year old). Everybody enjoyed their meals and this momma savored the beer. Highly recommend this brewery!

I had fish taco with salmon recently. The salmon was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful. My new restaurant for the best fish tacos in Newport. And friendly service

A cool local brewery on top of a little hill in Newport, serving a variety of beer and super decent pubgrubs! For drinks, the Tangerine Crush really stood out. Refreshing, smooth, and the subtle sweetness and tang of tangerine came through. For food, we got to split the PB&J Burger which my partner is still raving big time about. All the ingredients used were high quality and you can taste it. I like the use of apricot jam to round a rather hearty combo out. Also, their waffle sweet potato fries were as fresh and crispy as they could be. Multiple selection of dipping sauces too; the chipotle ranch slaps. Great service, plenty of seats. Highly recommend for a easy meal and good chill time.

Food was A+ on our visit a few months back (yes, I'm way behind on this review) and I still remember it. We got their Brewery burger and Triple pork tacos. Both were really good but the !!!tacos!!! Oh maannn. Yum. I also appreciated that they have a handful of mocktail options on the menu. Most places I'm just fine with water but this time I opted for the Lavender peach spritz. It was refreshing and I am a sucker for anything with lavender. My husband ordered a beer (Dungeness IPA) and said it was decent, though he loves high IBU beers normally and Newport didn't have any of those on the list. Service was nice, but a bit slow. The atmosphere is trendy brewery-ish with LOADS of TVs - I think there was one at each table and 3-4 over across the bar. I only really noticed this as our baby was very attracted to them all because we normally keep her away from screens at home.

We took our family today to Newport Brewing for lunch in the sun. They loved it. Mindy is fantastic. The food was a big hit! Thank you Mindy!

We have been to a few restaurants in the area, most highly rated, and while they were good, this was my favorite place. Other reviews said a brewery has no reason to have this good of food, and it's true. We didn't even get any beer, just came for the food and it was delicious. The service was exceptional as well. Highly recommend and will come back when in the area.

Solid beers, great food! Really relaxing venue with good service. Got the peanutbutter burger and it was to die for. One of if not the best burger i think I've ever had. I mean I just took a photo with my phone and it looks like a fake for an ad or something. And it tasted as great as it looked! Fresh meat, cooked perfectly and super crispy fried jalepeños. The sweet pitato fries were great too. Will definitely be coming back!

Hidden gem! Adorable, clean and our waitress/ bartender was delightful! We had the beer tasting flight. Food was delicious highly recommend the chowder. Pretty view of the bay and outdoor seating!
