First time here today. We picked up some mussels, oysters, and pre cooked shrimp from the counter. The people working were very accommodating and knowledgeable! Very friendly, we had a nice chat and a laugh. Everyone’s wearing masks and there is sanitizer at the front when you walk in. Good prices from what I’m aware and fresh yummy fish so, give it a try!

We live in a small town - fresh fish is not available. Visiting nearby we decided to try Newport and were delighted. The choices were wide, very fresh and 3 meals later we'll be sure to go back next time in the city. Black spotted bream was lovely.

This is my go-to fishmonger. Prices are reasonable; there is a great variety of fish from Portugal, Azure, Iceland, Canada, etc.; and the customer service is always pleasant. Update: Lowered my review by one star because the oysters I bought from here were not fresh and had to be thrown out...

I walked in looking for some ice for a colleague of mine as we were working next door. I was welcomed and provided with a sample of fresh shrimp from Portugal. it was incredible. All of the fish and seafood is fresh and looked amazing. The owner was very informative and incredibly generous and friendly. Worth a visit!

This store sells fresh fish and seafood. They also sell Portuguese products. Some of the staff speak Portuguese. I happened to walk by the store today, 2023-06-10. They were celebrating Portuguese Day by having an outdoor grill grilling lots of sardines and selling them for $2.00 each, with the first 2 free! There was a variety of sauces that you can pour on it. The fish was delicious. Better than canned sardines. The store is wheelchair accessible. There is free 1-hour neighbourhood street parking.
