Phenomenal sunset sail experience. Captain Mike is so knowledgeable and makes it a really fun night. Boat is spacious, clean, and they are very accommodating. A must do in Newport! I’ve done it twice now and is a staple to every trip from here on out!

This is a lovely, family owned local Sailing business in Newport. Mike is a great guy with lots of experience and knowledge, and he really takes care of his customers. I’ve done a lesson and a tour now and both were absolutely amazing experiences! We felt safe the entire time, learned so much, and enjoyed a beautiful sail both times. There are life jackets and the boat is also designed in a way that prevents capsizing. Gorgeous views and a totally safe environment. You are in good hands here!

We had a great afternoon of sailing on the bay, this was the perfect way to see the surrounding points of interest and the many other boats taking part in races. Captain Mike was friendly, accommodating, and his knowledge of the area, it's history and sailing just added to the experience.

Did a tour with Newport sailing and it was easily the highlight of my east coast road trip. It’s safe to say that me and my friends were in complete awe throughout the duration of the voyage. Mike is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and a great teacher. It will be the first thing I do the next time I visit Newport. Absolutely a must do for anyone who has never been sailing.

We had an amazing time sailing the sunset with our captain, Mike. He was a very experienced sailor and a knowledgeable person about the area. He pointed out a number of landmarks and gave us, the newbies, a short intro to the world of sailing. He even recommended a few places to visit for great local food and we absolutely loved one of them. Thank you, Mike, for an amazing trip. Definitely a must do when in the area!

100% recommend booking a sail with Newport Sailing school and tours! Making a reservation was super easy- you can make one online or give them a call. I spoke to Mike on the phone and he was super friendly and great to work with! My husband and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary on a group tour sunset sail. Mike happened to also be our captain and was fantastic! We learned a lot about sailing, the bay, and Newport in general. It was a great time! You can even bring your own snacks and byob if you'd like. Cannot wait to do this again! Skip the touristy sails and do this one- so worth it!! Plus you are setting sail off of goat island which is incredibly beautiful!
