"This restaurant is renowned for its excellent, modern and inviting cuisine. The menu showcases mostly regional ingredients that are transformed into delicious recipes (the oily fish, prawn, baby spinach and Jerusalem artichoke millefeuille is highly recommended). The impressive wine list and selection of cocktails can also be enjoyed as an aperitif or post-dinner drink at the wine bar." - Michelin Inspector

I can hands down say that after a week in Positano, we’ve had our best dinner at “Next 2”. Everything we ordered came out cooked to perfection. They have a very extensive list of cocktails and wines to accommodate the varied menu on hand. We started off with the Polpo and the Lobster bao buns which were both so juicy to eat. For our main we shared the carbonara gnocchi which was also absolutely delicious and creamy. The star of the show was definitely the Chateaubriand we shared. One of the most delicious cuts we’ve had, accompanied by a searing hot Himalayan salt slab which you can use to lightly cook the pieces further to your temperature liking. Overall I would highly recommend a visit to this place, and also want to say a thank you for the great hospitality to Roberto and Guiseppe who both made the night very special.

Tucked away in a peaceful corner of Positano, this beautiful restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience. The setting is serene and romantic, perfect for a relaxed evening away from the busier parts of town. The menu showcases the best of Italian cuisine, with standout dishes including fresh, expertly prepared seafood, flavorful steaks, and perfectly cooked pastas. Each plate reflects a deep respect for ingredients and tradition, with just the right creative touch. Complementing the food is an impressive wine list, as well as a full cocktail menu for those in the mood for something different. Service is warm and attentive without being intrusive. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a night out, this spot in Positano is a true gem.

Oh my. This is a MUST if you are visiting Positano. Roberto, Mario, and the staff were INCREDIBLE. The food was beyond delicious and the little touches made it a step above. My husband is dairy free and the chef went out of his way to accommodate that. We absolutely LOVED the food and experience.

Google
Honestly, this was an amazing find for dinner. The staff here were so incredibly friendly and helpful. We were blown away by the food. The spaghetti sauce was so delicious. We had an amazing non-traditional tiramisu dessert. I would definitely come back. The atmosphere was very upscale modern, with indoor and outdoor seating.

Really great food and service. The courtyard dining area is a little oasis of calm from the busy streets and crowds. A very pleasant dining experience

Google
My husband and I had dinner at Next 2 on our last night staying in Positano. It surpassed all of my expectations! The food was 10/10!! We ordered a bottle of Chianti wine and they were kind enough to tell us the history of where the wine came from. After we put our order in, the server brought us some delicious little appetizers compliments of the chef. We ordered the carpaccio for appetizer which was amazing. And my husband and I both ordered the truffle carbonara pasta and we both couldn't stop talking about how amazing this dish was, even the next morning. We finished our meal with a lovely gourmet tiramisu. Overall, the ambiance and service were perfection. We had a very romantic and memorable experience!! Highly recommend.

Google
5 stars – Absolutely loved our dinner at Next2. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, and every detail — from the amuse-bouche to the wine — was thoughtfully executed. We shared the bottoni and gnocchi with black truffle, both visually stunning and incredibly flavorful. The Celestino Pecci Rosso di Montalcino 2021 was the perfect pairing — smooth, vibrant, and balanced. A memorable evening in Positano; highly recommended.

Google
Amazing experience! The food was delicious and the service was top tier. The lobster bao was yummy and the zucchini flowers were to die for. Definitely a must visit restaurant when in Positano!

Yelp
I highly recommend this restaurant. We didn't do the pre fixe menu but ordered many items off it (octopus, zucchini blossom, ahi tuna). The food, drinks, and service were all superb. Environment was charming and beautiful.

Fofinha H.

Yelp
This was the best meal we had in Positano. Everything was delicious and the service outstanding, and the best service of any restaurant we went to in Europe during this vacation.

Yelp
We made reservations and were seated in the wine room. Very cozy with a total Italian vibe. We were treated to a chef's special for an appetizer. The fish cake was a favorite of our table. We also ordered burrata which came with crustinis, beautifully colored tomatoes and fresh mozzarella cheese. I chose the linguini for my entree and was offered my choice of the menu option or a special truffle version they were serving that night. I opted for the special and it was delicious. Nice creamy but lighter sauce and the truffles provided a unique and special flavor. Our service was excellent. Not knowing Italian wines, our server helped me make two excellent bottle choices for our table. All meals were enjoyed. Great experience.

Yelp
This is actually the best meal we have had while in Italy over the last 9 days. Although expensive the service was outstanding and the food quality was even better. We enjoyed the scallops(3) 1st course, my wife had the Linguine Calamari, I had the Vitello (like Beef Wellington), topped off with a delicious encrusted Praline Mousse. In addition the chef provided mini tasters. This was outstanding as we did not order them and they were extremely delicious little bites.

Yelp
This place is a must in Positano! Everything we had was execellent! One of the best meals we have had in Italy! The service was by far the best we have had in Italy. Ask for Giovanni and Mario, incredible waiters, very personable, and knowledgeable about the menu!

Yelp
We were running out of time to eat dinner and knew next2 was open till 11:30 so we arrived around 10:20pm or so. We tend to eat late and that's super tough around Positano. Unfortunately, everything closes early. Anyways, we ordered wine, the octopus, gnocchi and the meatballs. The amuse bouche was arinchini, nothing special. The octopus was excellent! Gorgeous presentation and we enjoyed the flavors. Now to the entrees... honestly both were underwhelming. They were both good portion wise but lacking in the "being an elevated dish" department. I was pretty surprised because we had high hopes for this place knowing that it has a Michelin star. Anyways that was about it for the food. We also ordered red wine that was just opened and it had not been aerated at all. We let them know and it was fine but again, I've always had good red wine at dinner (not just opened) everywhere else I've been to eat around the world. We're from Boston and I must say I've had amazing food there and no one has a Michelin star! I'd recommend doing research before eating at the highest rated places in positano, I think there is great food but it can be hit or miss + have to account for tasting menus being the center of attention.

Yelp
We arrived early for our reservations and were promptly greeted and seated. We asked the waiter to bring us his suggestion for a glass of wine (med to full body) and a glass of aperol spritz. It was a terrific glass of wine and the best aperol spritz in Positano. We watched ordered an antipasto and then a pasta and the catch of the day. Both were delightful. We finished the meal off with a fruit dessert and a fresh glass of wine. It was a great evening in a romantic setting. They played nice music and the staff were attentive and friendly.

Amanda B.

Yelp
4 stars for Next 2. It's hard to give anything higher because we didn't try enough dishes. They brought out complimentary bites that were good but average. The bread selection was a nice compliment while we waited for our dishes. I ordered the fish and my husband ordered the veal. His dish was very good and mine was not bad. I probably wouldn't order again. The ambience and service were all good.
google avatar

Madison G.

Yelp
The food was awful and so expensive. We did the tasting menu. This was the most expensive and worst meal I had in Positano. I'd skip it. Dishes didn't make sense. The order the tasting menu was in was...just bizarre.

Yelp
Next 2 was delicious. Located in Positano, Italy, Next 2 features great ambiance and an upscale vibe. The service was respectful and efficient. I had high expectations for this place and it definitely met them. The food was fantastic. Both pastas we ordered (pictured) were so delicious. The pasta with potato was very unique and very filling. The tomato's in Positano are amazing and the tomato sauce was some of the best I've had. I would recommend either one of these options. The desserts were amazing. Personally I liked the lemon cake better but you can't go wrong with either. This is due to the fact that they are famous for their lemons in Positano. If you find yourself in Positano, Italy and are looking for a upscale dining experience Next 2 is a great option. Give it a try!

Yelp
First time in Positano. Windy cold night today, we had hoped to find a nice indoor place to have a nice bottle of wine and maybe a charcuterie board with cheeses etc. we found this place online looked nice so we thought we'd give it a try. We asked to sit inside because it was cold. Stuck up waiter (bald guy with beard) said only outside. He served water and kinda just left us there. We decided to tell the "metido" waiter it's too cold, we are leaving. All of a sudden he offered a table inside. Still we weren't that hungry but thought we can at least have some wine. The atmosphere was not appealing and ended up telling the waiter we wanted something light small, he didn't offer anything and so we left! I offered to pay for bottled water, all he says was CIAO! Rude. Overall, we've received some very crappy service everywhere we've been in Positano accept at our B&B. Some Italians need to improve their service, their attitude - the ones we've encountered are so rude; treat foreigners like CRAP, not very warm, no personality and definitely not as friendly as I expected. Maybe because they are paid well here to serve, and don't get tips they feel no need to be nice. I love everything Italian! I dreamed of coming to Positano for years. So disappointing!! Whomever you are. Save your dollars, yen, euros, Franks, real and go elsewhere- go to "da Vincenzo " service is great!

Jay S.

Yelp
Another Michelin star restaurant we discovered while eating our way through Italy. Excellent service and food as we have discovered that Napa Valley cannot carry Italy's jock for food and wine. Exceptional value as we had the eggplant appetizer, burrata salad, tempura vegetables, fish and home made gelato. I'll let the pictures do the talking from here. If you are in Positano do not miss this one.

Yelp
These are a few of my favorite things about Next2: The croquette they started us with amused my bouche. The braised beef cheek melted in my mouth. The zucchini blossoms were gorgeous AND tasty. The server had an astonishingly excellent moustache. Their bar makes a proper martini (as well they should, as they have a martini menu). These are a few of my not favorite things about Next2: It was really windy (not their fault). Flavor seems to take a backseat to presentation. It's quite expensive, and portions are not as substantial as one might hope. A pretty good meal, but priced like a great one.

Yelp
I never give 5s. Well almost never anymore. But this quiet little gem above the chaos of Positano just tickled our fancy. First of all it was a Friday night and they had room for us at 6:30. They gave us a great seat with a terrific view even though it is located to the opposite side of the street from the famous Positano cliffs. Lovely, sophisticated charm that calmed our hyper stimulated nerves and helped us mellow and enjoy a deliciosso meal. Three courses later we were completely sated. Yes, the bill was the most we had paid in Positano but it was our last night and wanted a special dinner. The wine selections and cocktails were extensive and made to perfection. I enjoyed a very dry regional white wine and my hubby a gin and tonic. They even had a lime instead of lemon. Thank you! The appetizer was on the house and was fish dish with very fresh tomatoes, soup and a fish dish rounded out the meal. A marriage of fresh great food, view and love! Perfecto!

Yelp
The best meal we had in Italy, hands down. We started off with drinks-- the basil drink was incredible and not too sweet. I ended up having two. They infuse their own vodka with basil. Whatttttt. They gave us a little tart with ricotta to start with. This was a nice touch and was delicious. We started with the caprese, which was excellent, as well as the insalata caprino fresco (with beetroot and goat cheese). The insalata was absolutely gorgeous...but it tasted even better. It was incredible. We then had the blue lobster fettuccelle and the meatballs. Both melted in your mouth and were absolutely fantastic. For dessert...we got the honey biscuit (OMG amazing)...and the chocolate crumble, which is one of the best desserts I've ever had in my whole life. They also bring you a complimentary dessert that is out of this world, but do yourself a favor and order more. Service could have been better at first--- we waited for 10 minutes before anyone took our order. I think they were confused about who had our table. But once we had a server, I forget her name, but she is British and was amazing as well. She even took us to say hi to the chef after our meal--we had to thank him because the food was so amazing. I wish this place existed in the US!

Yelp
Next 2 was perhaps the best dinner of our week long vacation in Positano. In a town filled with delicious Italian eateries, Next 2 stood out for its fresh, flavorful dishes that were a more modern take on the traditional Italian meal. Reservations are required, especially during high season. They can be made only about 2 weeks prior to the reservation night. Outdoor seating lacks a water view, but is still charming and pleasantly appointed. Standout dishes included the caprese, meatballs, and risotto, all of which were delicious.
google avatar

Amanda S.

Yelp
This spot has a white outdoor courtyard with large umbrellas that cover over all of the tables and climbing jasmine blooming along the walls, I was worried this would be a tourist trap - but it wasn't! You have to get the conchiglioni pasta stuffed with cheese and pork ragu sauce. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

Galina M.

Yelp
Had reservations there since May 19th for today August 31. Just checked my emails to confirm my time before heading their way and found an email from August 14 (in my junk) that cancelled my reservations. So we are with no dinner reservations in a busy Positano. Think twice before you make reservations there. They may cancel with our asking you or rescheduling it. Not a good customer service.

Yelp
It's true. The best things in life are Simple And NEXT2 makes complicated and phenomenal flavors with simplicity. Every dish was just so beautiful presented, simple in nature, yet some Of the most flavorful dishes I've ever had We went on a nice Michelin tour of Positano and this place is just absolutely perfect. Love the location, while the it lacks the beautiful views that most places have, it makes up for it in the fact that it is some of the best food you'll ever have! We got the catch of the day for two and it happened to be a perfectly cooked sea bass I still can't get this fish out of my head in how well Executed it was in taste and technique. This is perfect for a romantic evening, pre outing dinner or just a nice regular dinner on s beautiful evening out. The ambience was great. And another highlight is the cute dog that comes around d and greets everyone! She is adorable and definitely prob the most well fed Dog of all time!
google avatar

Bradley R.

Yelp
Best meal (so far) on our European adventure! This tiny restaurant is located on a winding cliff side road overlooking a beautiful bay in Positano Italy along (or near) the Amalfi Coast. I ordered freshly caught sea bass that was filleted and served table side. Best fish I ever tasted along with potato, fresh vegetables and bread. Superb white wine and a delicious serving of gelato rounded out this perfect meal. The weather was a bit cool after sunset, so they fired up some patio heaters. We watched a beautiful sunset and enjoyed watching the lights come on along the cliff and the many boats in the harbor as it became dark. Then we walked the 84 steep steps back up to our hotel - worth every stair step! Highly recommend and it might be the best reason to return to Positano!

Yelp
I actually made a reservation for the wrong day, but manager (Franco?) graciously accommodated us. The team was wonderful and service so crisp and professional. Wine service was exceptional! I chose a taurasi radici riserva 2009 that was excellent with both pork ribs and lamb chops. Squash blossoms were great start. Dessert was a show stopper. I had to take a photo.
google avatar

Parker H.

Yelp
This place is really good. One of the better restaurants in Positano. Doesn't feel like a tourist trap (as so many places do in Positano). Friendly service, Italians and English speakers alike were dining here. The food was on the pricey side but well worth it. Great presentation. Fresh local fish. Cool ambiance. I recommend
google avatar

BaconLover J.

Yelp
The food here was pretty good (octopus, clam pasta, beef cheek) and the presentation wonderful, but the service was SUPER slow. We ordered 3 items and a glass of wine and our meal took 2 hours from start to finish, no joke, reservation at 9:30, didn't leave until 11:30. It's a bit over priced as well and the portions are on the small side. Bottom line: higher end restaurant with quality dishes and nice ambiance, but the service is slow and portions small. My advice is to keep walking down the road about 5 minutes more until you get to Da Vincenzo, that is the best restaurant is Positano - see my review for more info.
google avatar

Nicole C.

Yelp
4.5 stars! This was a very unique meal compared to what we have had so far. It was a very good meal, great ambience, great service. Menu is smaller than we have seen at other places and a very different twist. We ordered wine, and the waiter suggested a better one at the same price and we were extremely pleased. Everything was delicious, but it was our most expensive meal so far in Positano, and just not sure it should have been. We loved everything we had- zucchini flowers were the best I have had so far. The gnocchi was light and flavorful, but depends how you like it...my son prefers it heavier and more al dente so this was not his favorite, but my husband prefers it light and thought this was outstanding. The grilled squid - huge portion and my husband and son both loved it. Red snapper with veggies was light and flavorful. Desserts were AMAZING! Semi Freddo was awesome! The pear, ricotta gelato was so different and delicious. Very nice drinks! All around this was a really great meal. Portions are not huge, so if you are hungry - go for three courses. But save room for dessert. The only reason this is not 5 stars is the price compared to other places we have eaten, but it was very different and delicious!

Yelp
We had a lovely dinner here. With great service and interesting modern take on classic Italian traditions. Each course was beautiful as was fresh and tasty. They have a beautiful patio, no real view but great ambience. We loved: -The Fresh goat's salad, red turnip, almonds and honey -Conchiglioni stuffed with bolognese and stracciatella Large shell shaped pasta stuffed with pork ragù and bechamel, tomato sauce and stracciatella -Roasted octopus, artichoke and asparagus Chocolate mousse for desert was amazing. The prices here are similar to all others in Positano.
google avatar

Lauren V.

Yelp
We had a really lovely server. She was very accommodating as two at the table tried to determine if they should go for the seafood special. She went back to the kitchen to weigh the catch and even calculated out the cost of that weight so there would be no awkward surprises. We opted inside after a poor experience at Da Vincenzo's outdoor seating feeling like you're sitting IN the road with the noisy, stinky cars, but Next 2's outdoor seating was MUCH nicer - more like a walled in terrace and protected from the busy road. We made a reservation on the day in late Sept, but when we arrived it looked like it wasn't necessary. I did the trio of appetizers, and the traditional meatball main which came with a lovely mashed potato instead of pasta. The seafood special was a hit and was a great price as it was enough for two at the table to share. We spent as much as we did at Vincenzo's but had a much nicer experience overall. Would recommend walking up that hill a bit for this gem if it's in your price range for a special dinner while in Positano
google avatar

Marina M.

Yelp
Great service, welcoming and attentive...interesting modern take on classic Italian traditions. The trio appetizer was amazing, salads were fresh and delicious with honey dressing. Zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta were out of this world. Main dish we shared a sea bream fresh fish of the day, it was cooked to perfection and de-boned before us. Gelato for desert was just ok and view of the road...but you go there for the food and presentation.
google avatar

Rekha R.

Yelp
This was my favorite dining experience in Positano so far. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is beautiful and modern inside. I had the limoncello cocktail which was light and refreshing. We shared the salad with goat cheese, beet root and honey citronette (amazing), appetizer trio (was ok but could have done without), scallops (also amazing) and the spaghetti (without the Amber jack). I would definitely eat here again and probably order the salad, spaghetti and scallops again. So fresh and tasty and beautifully presented. Overall a must if you are visiting Positano.
google avatar

Hannah S.

Yelp
We were sooo excited about this restaurant after hearing such great reviews. Don't get me wrong, the food and ambiance were wonderful and romantic, but we loved other places more. The food was divine but smaller portions than we would've liked. But, we did not order an appetizer or dessert, and the waiter still brought us tastes of each, "on the house."

Nina D.

Yelp
We came here after the wait at Da Vincenzo was too long. It's a nice, trendy restaurant with impeccable service and cool decor. The food is presented in a pretty way, as befits a fine restaurant. The wine I had - a Pinot Nero - was fantastic, as was a house special appetizer of fried pasta. I enjoyed my lobster fettucelle but for how hefty the price was, I'm not sure it was worth it, because it tasted like food I might get in the United States. Was a bit sad this was the last dinner I had during my trip to Italy.
google avatar

Mike D.

Yelp
Art. Waiter, Vincenzo, perfect recommendations. Everything was really creative and extremely high quality. Highly recommend.

Sammie C.

Yelp
One of the best meals we had in Positano. Flavors are amazing and the ambience is quite nice!

Yelp
Very good food. Not excellent but very good. Pretentious service on the unfriendly side. Try to tuna tartare caprece.

Yelp
Next 2 was lovely and probably the best dinner experience we had on our trip. Our concierge recommended it, and I wasn't disappointed. The restaurant is midway up the hill, and the walk offered very nice views. The restaurant itself doesn't have a stellar view but is decorated nicely and comfortably. We started with cocktails that were very tasty-- a version of a G&T and a sparkling limoncello. Next we ordered a bottle of rose, which was a little lighter than most roses we had in Italy. It was very refreshing. For starters, we had the caprese and the veal with tuna sauce. The caprese was perfect. We would have never ordered the veal dish, but the table next to us had it and it looked amazing...and it was. The aioli-like sauce the dish was served over was INSANE. Our entrees were a little lackluster-- I actually switched dishes with my husband. He seemed to enjoy both (ravioli and stuffed shells, I believe), but I found both pastas to be mushy. For dessert, we had a cannoli-like dish. It was delish and very unique. Altogether, Next2 was a beautiful restaurant that presented Italian classics in a unique way. It was a welcome respite from the usual trattoria.
google avatar

Margot K.

Yelp
I am so glad that I checked out Yelp early on in the trip and saw the glowing reviews. Next 2 is elegant from service, to food, to decor without being overly pricy. They have a modern take on classics which is refreshing in a town so catered to tourists. I had the scallops and steak and was thrilled with both. Everyone at my table of 5 was extremely happy with what they ordered. Can't wait to go back later in the week!!
google avatar

Mandi D.

Yelp
Loved it! Went with the whole family and not one of us could complain about what we got. Drinks were great - the server-recommended mojito was especially tasty. Other highlights from our meal included the beef cheeks, the ricotta gnocchi and the grilled octopus. Definitely a great meal.

Kim M.

Yelp
Seriously was excited to try a Michelin star restaurant in positano Italy. We did not have reservations but the restaurant didn't look busy so we went in for dinner. We decided to order the tasting menu for 2 people and upon ordering the head waiter was very rude, condescending and very judgemental; and assumed we couldn't read English. With an Italian accent he said "that price (80Euro) times 2". We felt discriminated but continued with our dinner since this was considered a Michelin star restaurant. We were not impressed with the food, it seemed below average for a Michelin star and for the price you pay. The only Michelin star they received was for the service which was excellent other than the rude head waiter. I would not recommend nor would return to this restaurant.

Yelp
Our first dinner in Positano and it lived up to expectations. A bit of a hike up the hill from the center of town. Just keep an eye on the crazy drivers. They have a beautiful patio, no real view but great ambience. The kitchen started us with a baked eggplant and mozzarella appetizer. We followed with a sampling of three appetizers. Zucchini blossoms, eggplant Parmesan and a small pizza. The zucchini was amazing. After trying this, I wished we ordered this instead as one was not enough. Even my daughter who has an aversion to zucchini loved it. The blossom stuffed with cheese and laid on bits of pumpkin was so unique and equally good. The eggplant was excellent and the pizza was a bit different-- more like an English muffin style crust. For dinner, I had the Conchiglioni--shells stuffed with bolognese. Never had anything like this and the flavors intertwined nicely. I also sampled the tagliolini. Liked it better than mine actually. Perfect combo of pasta, asparagus, spring onions and tomato confit. For dessert, they brought us a plate of treats which made for the perfect ending to a great meal. Wine list has something for everyone including regional wineries. Service was attentive.

Bret C.

Yelp
My wife and I just arrived in Positano yesterday and heard good things about Next 2 so decided to head there for our first dinner in this beautiful place. The service and the food were just fine (not great) but would certainly go again. That is until we both woke up in the middle of the night with food poisoning. I will spare all the details but make sure to practice caution going as I write this review from my hotel bed that I haven't been able to leave all day. Such a disappointing way to start a vacation. Not sure what dish is to blame but they provided a complimentary fried fish ball appetizer that the fish appeared under cooked and we all had the beef carpaccio that could have been it as well.

Yelp
This restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of the villa that we stayed in while in Positano. We loved it! We sat outside on a gorgeous summer night. The ambiance was wonderful. The yellow stucco exterior, candles on the table, excellent service and fantastic food! All three of us ordered the Catch of the Day which was red snapper (one of two choices) grilled, deboned at the table and drizzled with a lemon herb mixture. Melt in your mouth!! Also served with fresh vegetables. At the beginning there was an amuse bouche from the chef that was a small bruschetta. Delish! We also ordered, as an appetizer, the stuffed zucchini flower. Light and yummy. Would go back there again in a heart beat.
google avatar

Tmy T.

Yelp
Modern decor and creative menus. Definitely, this ristorante is one of the top restaurant in Positano. Do not expect quick service. Relax and enjoy wine or/and conversation between courses. Reservation is highly recommended.

Viqas C.

Yelp
Went in for dessert and to try the stuffed zucchini flowers late on a Friday. Received nothing but a haughty and dismissive attitude from the manager. I don't know if it was because of what I was wearing (shorts and a T-shirt) or the fact that I mentioned I was mainly interested in ordering dessert (it was 10 PM). After the third strike of the terrible attitude before I was even able to order, I got frustrated and left. I really hate reviews like this because it doesn't tell you anything about the food but the service was so bad that it ruined what otherwise would have been a lovely ambiance for a nice post-dinner treat. I just expected better from a restaurant that wants to be considered fine dining in this resort town. If the clothes were a problem, I would suggest enforcing a dress code. If you require an entree to be purchased to deserve a seat, please state that on your menu. The waitress was nice, and did tell me that I should feel free to stay and eat dessert. It was too much drama, so I decided to take my business elsewhere.

Yelp
I've been 3 different times by myself and with guests I've never been to a restaurant with worse service! If the food was good it was difficult to remember because you had to get up and flag the server to get anything!

Chris F.

Yelp
This was our first dinner in Italy during our Italian summer vacation and it may have been the best dinner we had. We went after a recommendation from a friend. The service was absolutely top notch, Vincenzo was our waiter and was fantastic. We had no reservation and the beautiful outside area was packed but they were nice enough to get us a spot inside in this really cool wine room. We had delicious wine and for an entree I had the shell shaped pasta stuffed with Bolognaise ragu while by boyfriend had the special of the day which was tuna. The whole experience at this restaurant was fantastic and a great start to our vacation! I definitely recommend visiting while in Positano.

Maureen M.

Yelp
This place came highly recommended by Yelp, our hotel and locals. It definitely lived up to the hype. It was the best meal of our time in Positano (we had: the stuffed shells-as an appetizer, Chicken (breaded & fried) and Octopus as our meals, Lemon Tart & Chocolate Almond Cake as our dessert). I commented to my husband that I think my Octopus was the best seafood meal I had ever eaten. The vibe, service, complimentary small bites, everything was perfect.

Yelp
We went to this restaurant based on a recommendation from another restaurant that was booked fully for the evening. It continues the trend of very pricey food in Positano and we honestly didn't think it was a lot better. If anything, it seemed to charge you more for smaller quantity and while it has a trendier upscale feel to it, we found the food a little lacking. I specifically recall though that when we walked up they weren't sure if they could seat us because there were reservations possibly about to show up, yet almost half the restaurant was empty. They ended up seating us but they went about it in the totally wrong way. Saw this happening to other people as they walked up. And of course, do you think the restaurant ever got close to full? No.

Yelp
If you are feeling homesick for America come here. If you want delicious authentic Italian food, look elsewhere. The portions are American sized and the food is sort of bland. We had 5 people who each ordered 4 courses and every single last thing we ordered except for one dessert was "fine." Good, edible, fresh enough, but not great. This was also probably one of the most expensive meals of our trip, so it was disappointing to say the least.

Yelp
Excellent restaurant in Positano. Great, fresh food and fairly reasonable prices for the area. Service was very friendly as well. It's located a bit higher up the hill so it's more quiet than other restaurants in Positano. The setting is beautiful and it's a very casual, airy vibe. The restaurant is a bit more modern looking than most in Positano and they have a great area for outdoor dining if the weather permits. It was a beautiful night when we were there and there are a few tables with a view of the water. The menu is fantastic. There are so many good things we had a difficult time narrowing it down to what we wanted to order. We started with the scallops and mussels in a spicy tomato broth. A bit different to serve mussels with mashed potatoes, but the flavors were awesome. Highly recommend both of these dishes. We then shared the bell pepper stuffed with pasta, capers, olives, and cheese. It was as good as it sounds and it was surprising light. Also something very different for a pasta dish, which was welcomed since we ate so much pasta in Italy. For entrees we ordered the chicken and the veal roll. Both were good but I loved the veal, very tender and in a great tomato sauce. We had a reasonable bottle of red wine which our server recommended and the bill was about 125 eur. We loved the bright, airy atmosphere here and the fresh food, highly recommend going to Next2.

Yelp
It was my favorite meal in Positano. Excellent food and impeccable. Dined solo. Ordered the squash blossoms which are a must and the octopus. Don't skip this restaurant.

Yelp
I agree with the other reviewer. This place has the best food. I highly recommend this place as well. I had the Cannelloni with Ricotta which was the best thing I had in all of Italy and their grilled eggplant are so thinly sliced which melts in your mouth. Also, if you go there late around 10pm, they will still accommodate you.
