LOVE Next Chapter Books, the Morningside community is so lucky to have this bookstore in the neighborhood. A beautifully curated store with a little bit of everything from books (obviously) to fantastic gifts of local candles, soaps, coffee and stickers. A fantastic local authors section is a staple of the store. The owners are serious readers and are always able to recommend something if you are at a loss. I’ve been to a few of the Wednesday evening book clubs and the discussions are lively and educational. Anything they don’t have on the shelf they can order for you! Support your local bookstore. 🩷

My first visit here and not my last! I came for an author event for a children ls book i wanted. I picked up other great titles as well.beautiful book store!

They were vere efficient, working quick but doing a great job as well as very honest. While needing a 15 minute break they communicated they would take it off the bill which in my opinion was next level honesty! They were also both very kind, overall very pleased with our experience and would definitely use again!

This is an amazing indie bookstore! They shelve their new and used books together & everything is well organized. The owner working during my visit was friendly and helpful. And as much as I love books, I also love the extras: cool Detroit merch, nice journals, fun book-themed socks, and the ever popular vinyl sticker selection. This is an asset to the neighborhood and we'll be back often!

A truly great bookstore. They have old, they have used, they will order any book you can think of, and the curation is just ..... chef's kiss. I love the community focus and the events that they host, I love the owners who are as kind as they are knowledgeable, I love the coffee I can buy while I'm there (though that is a separate entity, but I still love it!). Perfect addition to the neighborhood!
