The food was pretty on-point, which is fortunate because after a 30 minute wait, we were seated right next to the front door where we were repeatedly blasted by frigid air every time it was opened -- and *held* open -- while people inquired about getting a table. After realizing this, the hostess rather rudely refused to reseat us at another open table when we asked. (We had not even ordered anything yet.) Oh, the music was also rather loud in the front of the restaurant.
But back to the food.... I'm a sucker for fried pickles, and these were a great balance between pickle and tempura-style breading. Sadly, they were out of the chicken brochettes so we ordered the hummus plate -- which had been described to us as chipotle but definitely was not. It appeared homemade and was good. However, the bread really does not need to be buttered, and additional veggies would have been nice. Everyone enjoyed their entrees, as well. Slightly over-generous servings of fries, though they were good.
4-stars on food alone, but sadly, the inflexible seating policy and less-than-accommodating hostess comes at a cost.
In short, if you bundle up, wear a hat, and double up on jackets like I did, you may actually be able to enjoy the otherwise decent food here!
