The price is right. The food not so much. The burgers aren’t expensive but they’re not that big either. The burgers are ok. The fries are very meh. I got a double cheeseburger with fries and a drink for about $11. Not bad. If you want to get rid of hunger for a low price come here but for flavor maybe elsewhere. I used the drive thru. Great service from an enthusiastic lady on the speaker. They have a parking lot

Double cheeseburger combo is advertised at $9.95 but in reality when they charge you it's $10.45. I'm not sure why that is but it is what it is. Burger was good and tasty, the fries were good and plenty .Double cheeseburger by itself is a good deal. The staff was friendly and the dining area was very clean and nice. My wife has a fried chicken sandwich and she enjoyed it also.

I always enjoy when the people taking your orders and preparing your food look professional. I used the drive-through, and Sergio was very professional when ordering my burger. I requested the spicy ketchup and some ranch dressing for my onion rings. I got the double cheeseburger, which tasted great, and the onions rings. The value for this meal is there. When you have everybody raising their prices constantly because everyone else does it you get a little tired. Plus eveyine wants a tip for anything. It's refreshing to know that there are still companies who make a reasonable profit off of making hamburgers. Thank you Nexx Burgers. I'll be back.

I've heard a lot of buzz about this place, so I decided to give it a try. Arrived just before the rush and was pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic – I went for the double cheeseburger combo, and it didn't disappoint. The customization options are extensive, allowing you to tailor your meal just the way you like it. If you find yourself in the area, definitely stop in and grab a bite. Highly recommend!

Burger was good the cheese was the pefect melt, you could taste the freshness and quality of the meat. The fries/onion rings were crunchy. Onion rings a little oily but that's to be expected. They didn't fall apart. the crust was thick. The sauce tasted like a mix of bbq and ketchup to me. Restaurant was reasonably clean, came during a rush hour, trash was over flowing a bit.

Gave this place a shot. It's ok,nothing to rave about. I am not saying it's bad,their just isn't something super special about it. I am going to give them a second shot,because I want to try the chicken burger. The bathroom was clean and so was the restaurant, and that always good.

Definitely not as good as in and out but for the price I'll take it make sure you ask for sauces & napkina in drive through because they won't ask or give you any.

Well, I seen all the pictures and heard all the hype so I had to go try it for myself and see what this place was all about. Honestly, I was excited to try this place because in the pictures it looked really good but I was a little letdown by what I received. Didn't know until I got there, but this place is basically a knock off In N Out ,prices are fair, service was good, and the menu looked OK. I ordered their double cheeseburger. My son got the single we had onion rings and I got the chili cheese fries. This is where kind of went wrong for me. (1) cheeseburger= 5/10 needed seasoning for sure definitely lacked in that department. (2) fries =8/10 these fries were good, they were seasoned and the chili was really good also. (3) onion rings=7/10 good rings .. The pricing was fair at this place and I really wanted to like it because it looks super good in pictures. Would I come back? I'm not too sure. In-N-Out definitely taste better but I gave it a shot and this is what I thought.

Nexx Burger is the real deal! I never thought I would find a place that is better than In-N-Out but this place is next level! Not only is the food very affordable, but the portions are good and the flavor is fantastic. The double cheeseburger taste like an In-N-Out double double but it's only $3.70. They sweet potato fries are about $3.90 so the whole meal with taxes less than nine dollars. There aren't too many around, but I can see this chain growing quickly. The service was great and there was a lot of space to eat inside. I don't go to Downey often but I would come back for this to try the other items. The inside was really clean and it seemed like a new location. Highly recommend.

I recently visited Nexx Burger in Downey during the evening, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Upon arrival, I noticed there was plenty of parking, which made it super convenient. The restaurant was brightly lit and welcoming, with ample seating available. The staff got straight to the point when taking our order, which I appreciated--it was efficient and quick. My boyfriend and I ordered a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and a drink, while he got a double cheeseburger combo, which came with a small fries and drink. Our total came to about $22, which I found comparable to in-n-out. The burgers when ordered alone are under $4 each, making them a steal in today's market. When our order arrived, we grabbed some ranch and yellow chili peppers to complement the meal. The burgers were absolutely delicious--the meat was juicy, and the veggies were crisp and fresh. The regular fries were crispy and served hot, while the sweet potato fries were a treat, especially when dipped in ranch. To top it all off, their lemonade was refreshing and hit the spot. Let's start this is a franchise so I treat alot as mom and pops because the management makes it happen. First thank you Ryan for you customer service when we first walked up. Very pleasant manor as counter staff. Your patience and knowledge is refreshing The menu set up is simple and comprehensive kicks the combos first good up selling in smaller print the single burger. Choice of add ons for a little extra. We went frugal and got the #3 combo which a good price. Hamburger set up lettuce tomato cheese good size burgers and there special sauce. Really good burger! Freshly made. Fries are pre battered and we'll done on the batter they were good! Drinks are two sizes good selections of fountain choices. There lids give option to drink without straw comforting when you drink. That also have milk shakes I will leave that for my next visit. Also veggie burger, chicken salad, chicken strips, grilled and fried chicken burgers. Can't go wrong?! Very clean especially for as much foot traffic is coming in and out. Good amount of seating inside and out. Large big screen TV if there is a game going on. I can see the cooking staff and count/drive thru staff head sets keeping communication. Counter staff = 9 Menu and options = 8 Cleanliness = 8 Food = 8 Price to product = 8 Normally I don't give 5 stars but this establishment and management are running a great crew of young ones also they have high chairs for the younglings I will return

Rating: 3.5 I hadn't been here in a while so I came to try the chili cheese fries. They were pretty small and hardly any chili, had a good amount of cheese and onions though. Also ordered: X Burger with fries (heard from recipient this order was good). The customer service was not what it was in the beginning. The presentation of the food was off putting: It's like they just tossed the items in the bag. Overall: Uuuhhh... I don't know about this place anymore. If I were to come back I'd have to be very specific with them about how I want my order. I really would have liked to have seen more chili on my order not be cheese and onion fries. Chili Cheese fries need chili... just saying.

This is one of those burger restaurants that is reminiscent of in-n-out. Their menu is simple and small, prices are about the same, and their offerings and quality of food is very comparable to in-n-out. I got a double cheeseburger with a side of chili cheese fries and a Neapolitan shake. They also have spread and yellow peppers upon request. The burger was delicious and they did not skimp on the cheese. The chili cheese fries were really flavorful. The Neapolitan shake was also good. My food came out within 5 minutes of ordering. They also have a drive-thru but I chose to dine in. The seating area is very spacious as they have indoor and outdoor seating. I would definitely come again if I'm in the mood for a burger and am in the Downey area.

Decided to try something different, this place is very reminiscent of in n out in their burger style but still different . In fact i believe this place is a tad bit cheaper than in n out if i am not mistaken. The menu is small but includes a chicken sandwich option as well as chili . Overall was not bad ; the food took about 7-8 min during lunch time, it's worth a try

Was not a fan of the burger itself. The meat looked pale,not undercooked, just pale. The seasoned fries were pretty good and the onion rings had a nice taste and texture to them, both a delight. The strawberry milkshake was regular, nothing to write home about. All in all, I may pull up again but trying the fried chicken sandwich next time. Didn't live up to the hype for me. Took a star away for the pale meat, and a star away for the long wait time for dine-in. On the plus side, an enthusiastic employee did step outside to ask us if we needed anything with a smile on his face!

Second time I've been to Nexx. I got the "all day, everyday double cheeseburger." It's essentially a replica of an In-N-Out double-double and it was also really good. Two thin patties, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese and a special sauce. It's even served with the same style wax paper burger holder. I would order it again in a heartbeat. I think it's new to the menu. First visit I had the crispy chicken strips because I'd read they were excellent. The strips were pretty bad; thin throughout, crispy in the middle and somehow chewy at the ends. Also had a strawberry shake, which they advertise as made from real ice cream, and it was just fine. Had fries both times I went, one with cheese and one without. Addictive because of the salt. They were good. Glad I waited until my second visit to post because the food quality went way up.

I've been to Nexx before but they ain't have the $3.75 double cheeseburger at that time. The ingredients are fresh and the burger is made to order with your desired toppings. Restaurant was clean and the cashier was friendly.

All those in my party definitely enjoyed their food. It was comfortable and the service was great for what it is you interact with employees. There were many people but it was a great vibe and atmosphere.

I get it. Everybody's allowed a bad day. I know everything super expensive right now, but the oil needs to be changed ! Not only my french fries, in old oil but they were all 1 inch long like the end of the bag. Listen when you have a small menu like this everything should be delicious. There's no excuse. Now today I told my mom to try the chicken . One time I pulled over to get chicken for the dog and fries for me. I was pulling the chicken apart and I realize this smells like an amazing piece of chicken. I told my mom to order it today for lunch . She said I was right the chicken was delicious . From the girl that doesn't eat chicken ha lol plot twist !

I ordered 3 sides of chili cheese fries and a side of onion rings, on top of the meals I ordered for my family and the older lady at the register gave me only 1 ranch. When I asked her for more she charged me for extra ranch and the one I originally got with my order. The drive thru attendant told me they're free of charge. 4 sides, on top of the combo meals I ordered and I only received one ranch!! That's crazy!! What's next they're going to start charging us for lettuce and tomato, something that everyone always gets with their burgers (everyone gets ranch, over all other sauces at burger places!) Do better , Downey already has a reputation for shitty service across all businesses!

We had heard that the burgers here are similar to In-N-Out but cheaper, so we decided to give it a try. A double burger was $3.99, which is definitely a good deal! I also learned that from Monday to Thursday, all day, a regular burger is just $1.95--hard to beat that price. As for the food, the burger was good, though not quite on par with In-N-Out. My onions were grilled, but they didn't have that "animal-style" taste I'm used to. So while the comparison makes sense, it's a bit of a stretch if you're expecting that same flavor. The shakes and onion rings were pretty good, though the onion rings didn't have a strong onion taste--maybe the slices were too thin? The atmosphere of the place was upbeat, and we enjoyed the setup. They had a big screen TV, so we got to watch the Dodgers game while we ate, which was a nice bonus. Overall, Nexx Burger is a good spot for a quick and affordable meal, especially if you're looking for an alternative to In-N-Out. It's worth checking out if you're in the area, especially during their burger deals!

We stopped by for a burger with our picky teen and let me tell you, I wish we had more time to try more items on the menu. The bacon cheeseburger so good (my daughter had a plain cheeseburger) We also had onion rings and chili cheese fries. You can definitely taste the quality of the food, these aren't just any regular burgers, we were definitely impressed. The service was great, he had a few questions about the menu and the young man who was helping us was pleasant and offered suggestions. They were playing a dodger game in the dining area so I'd say the ambiance was it! A delicious burger and a baseball game, I will definitely be back!

In the area and had seen photos of the burger, but what really got me was how inexpensive, in comparison to just about anywhere else, these were, so decided to stop by and give it a try. Had placed my order ahead of time, and was supposed to be ready for pickup at 619. Unfortunately it wasn't ready until close to 640, but it was nice and hot when it came out. So the burger looks great, good amount of cheese, and you get that In N Out cheese paper! You can customize what you want on the burger, so I went with the staples of lettuce and tomato. Just really wanted to get a traditional burger taste for comparison. I'll say that the burger is dense, you will feel it when you're finished, but with the cheese, lettuce and tomato, it was tasty. I feel the meat needed to be seasoned better. Also tried some sweet potato fries, which weren't bad, could have been crispier. Some felt mushy ish. Overall, for the price, it is a great burger, and you definitely get your moneys worth but,in terms of flavor and quality, In N Out would still be my "fast food" choice for a burger

I heard about this place and their famous $3.75 double cheeseburgers. With the In n Out prices raising, I knew I had to check out this place because I can't resist a good deal. My boyfriend and I ordered the double cheeseburger with whole grilled onions and chili cheese fries. The cashier forgot to ring us up for the fries, and ended up giving it to us on the house! We both agree the burger was better than In n Out in terms of taste and value. Look at this thing, it's huge!! The patties were juicy and seasoned just enough. The chili cheese fries were loaded with cheese and the fries were perfectly crispy. I do wish they had some acidic/spicy like peperoncinos though. I would definitely come back and recommend it to those ever in the area.

It was very busy but our food was ready in less than 5 minutes. Really good burger, fries are ok, not my fav but the service for as busy as it was, was great.

I'll admit it, I wanted In and Out, but Nexx burger was featured on an instagram, so we decided to try something new. It was such a great decision. Arrived at the drive thru around 10pm and the line wasn't bad. What brought us in, was the promise of $3.75 cheeseburgers, but we wanted to try the whole experience so opted for a meal. The burger was really great! Perfectly seasoned and delicious. I learned later that there was a grilled onion option, Ill get that next time. Another pro was that they offer sweet potato fries. Its rare that these are offered at a fast food place and it was a nice addition. Great burger! It was fresh and yummy! Cant wait to have another one.

Ughhh. So yummy. Had a burger combo with onion rings, a drink and a side of chicken tenders. The chicken tenders were meh but maybe it was just the batch I got that day so I'll be giving it another shot next time. But all in all, it was a great clean location and service. Will be coming back for sure.

Saw a tiktok comparing this place to In-n-Out so we wanted to give it a shot. Definitely DOES NOT disappoint. Burgers definitely had In-N-Out vibes. Tasty, almost like their burgers but with more seasonings and fresh. I had a double cheeseburger with sweet potatoes fries- good burger, fries were decent but could use some seasoning. My boyfriend had a burger with regular fries- good burger and good beer batter fries. We'll definitely be going back. Wanting to try their onion rings and chili cheese fries.

Intrigued by the Billboard ad I'd passed on Florence, I hung a R on Florence and found Nexx a mile west of my physician's office. I am pleasantly surprised by the prices! $10.95 for a one-third pounder combo with fries and a drink is not bad at all, especially when you see inferior chains like Wendy's and Carl's Jr. tryna to gouge ya for $13+ for comparable sized burger combos. The service is efficient, my "buzzer pager thingy" was flashing its lights within five minutes of my order. And this was at 1:35pm, still within the confines of peak lunch hour crowds. Taste wise, my burger was very good. Toasted bun cradling a thick pound patty, crisp red tomatoes, cold lettuce and white onions. The fries were crispy and perfectly salted (an underappreciated component of any good fast food meal!). But they were served lukewarm. The Nexx dining room is outfitted in contemporary grays, reds and shiny white subway style tiles. Our dining room was filled to three-fourths capacity during my visit...yet the Nexx team kept the orders and patrons humming through with great efficiency. The bathroom is clean, well stocked and vast. Pro tip- The milkshakes aren't bad. If you've room following your meal, the $4.37 with taxes is worth it. Situated right above my table, Nexx queries it's customers with a scripted question posed in Colonial red: "What's your Nexx Burger?" Thanks for its quick service, honorable prices and very good but not hall of fame caliber fare, Nexx will be, well, next.

Came here from the TikTok Hype, it EXCEEDED expectations. $3.75 for a burger in this economy is super crazy, amazing deal; and the quality is not compromised. Service was pretty speedy, and the ambiance is casual average burger place

I visited Nexx Burger in Downey, California, and unfortunately, my experience this time was disappointing compared to my previous visit. Last time, I had a fantastic experience with friendly and welcoming staff, which is why I decided to return. However, during my latest visit, the girl at the drive-through window, Patty H, was not polite or welcoming at all. I was just trying to understand how to order for my kids, but I felt rushed and like I was bothering her with my questions. It was frustrating because I genuinely wanted to know how things worked. I ordered chili fries, a plain burger for my son, fries, milkshakes, and chicken tenders. While I haven't tasted the food yet, the service left a sour taste. When I asked for extra sauce, she charged me a dollar, even though sauces typically come with the food. She seemed rather stingy with the ketchup and sauces overall, which was disappointing. I really hope the customer service improves and returns to the level of warmth and helpfulness I experienced on my first visit. For now, I'm unsure if I'll be coming back after this not-so-pleasant experience.

I love this place. It reminds me of in and out with bacon. Well today I tried the chicken strips I will definitely be back for those. Fresh chicken, not squishy or gross. Best chicken strips I've had outside of cooking them myself. Real chicken real good

I never heard of Nexx and have never seen it here in San Diego so this was my 1st visit and it definitely satisfied my burger craving. We went through the drive through which was long but moved pretty quickly. They have an all day everyday special of hamburger for $2.55 or cheeseburger for $3.75. I noticed the meals were $5 more which I thought was pricey for adding on fries and a drink but I can see why its worth it. The guy at the drive thru actually messed up and gave the car in front of us our order but they did make us a new order and he gave us 2 free milkshakes for having to wait again. Whoever was in front of us was lucky because we got a pretty hefty order; 3 cheeseburgers, spicy chicken tenders meal, onion rings, and chili cheese fries. Ok onto the food. Man it was so good and so simple too! Reminds me of In N Out but this place is better. The burgers were hefty in size and packed with onions, lettuce, and tomato. They offer condiments similar to In N Out which were the spicy ketchup, spread (Thousand Island/Mac sauce), ranch, and they even had banana peppers! The fries are seasoned and they were good so I can see why it cost to upgrade to a meal. I didn't try the spicy tenders. The chili cheese fries were good as well they weren't salty at all even with the fries being seasoned. Onion rings were devoured on the car ride home.

I have Nexx maybe once a week... I need to update my review before I go into cardiac arrest. Burgers are always good, especially like their $3.75 double cheeseburger special. I do have a minor complaint and it's almost a belief not a reality but I think they be using old onions. I ate in my car and it's been days, still stinking of onions. It's pretty well known that old onions stink harder, and the onion taste/smell from the food here stays with me. Something to mention, I get onions & cilantro on my tacos whenever I go to a taco stand and if you stood right next to me, you'd never be able to smell I had onions for lunch. With Nexx, you could smell me from a mile away. It's WEIRD. Also a tip: if you like the double cheeseburger from McDonald's, order a burger like this: Plain Double Cheeseburger Add pickles Add DICED (warning - they stink) onion Add ketchup Add mustard Also, the onion rings are fire. Seen some complaints about them being overcooked but in all my 30 something check-ins, I've never had an issue with them. I just realized I complain about the onions stench but order onion rings and onions on my burger... Ok, well, the ones at the taco stands don't smell. Shrug.

Went and tried Nexx Burger as I was told they were exactly like In and Out just less pricey. No!!!! Did the drive through inside was overcrowded. Had to repeat order (burgers) four times. Pick up window gave multiple bags for burgers and fries. The burger was generic nothing bland no seasonings Hard buns.They had done a comparison to a well known burger and had not come close to it! The fries were cold and they were just handed to us. The hubs and I threw away most of the burger and fries because they had no flavor. The pricing was reasonable *if you have no taste buds then go ahead and go

Appearance of an In-n-out double double. Tip: Check out the sauces they offer because the burger comes undressed. They could stand to season the patties a little more but they do offer salt and pepper. The onion rings are great though. Perfectly fried and CRISPY. Next time I will get one of the several sauces that they offer. The side sauces are on the menu.

Finally took the time to drive to Downey and give Nexx Burger a try. I ordered the 1/3 hamburger with cheese, onion, lettuce, and their sauce, somewhat like thousand island with a slight kick. The burger was solid and very good. For me it was the onion and the sauce ranneth over. I found myself licking my fingers after every bite, which is my preference. They offered a nice assortment of self-serve sodas, which upon reflection I should have refilled my cup for the drive home. The service was with a smile and I especially noticed how prompt the tables were wiped down. The french fries were a disappointment, perhaps it was the outer coating. But I have been spoiled by Belgium and The Netherlands, preferring their fries above all others. I had my dachshund with me, so I liked their roomie shaded patio. I would definitely return for the burger, but not the fries.

Been seeing this place pop out for quite some time. We decided to come try it out today and very pleased. The burger has good flavor not greasy. The fries plain and the nexx fries are good. My favorite was the onion rings they have a good crunch with the right flavor dipped into that cold tasty creamy ranch... perfection. Only complain is that one out of the 4 ranches was filled halfway. If you love onion rings or are sharing them I recommend getting two orders because it's hard to share haha. The service was great very pleasant and welcoming. The prices are family friendly. Will be back again

The food was so fresh and tasted amazing! They give you a pager that notifies you when your food is ready. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. It was our first time there and we were not sure what to order. We got the combo that included a hamburger and chicken strips with fries. We decided to eat inside as it was not too crowded and it was clean. The restroom was very clean as well. Give this place a try. They were very affordable and worth it.

Kept seeing this place on Instagram. They kept talking about how good the food was and how Budget Friendly this place was! And wow The Service was great and the Vibes were very Chill. I mean, prices, quantity/quality of the burgers and fries at this restaurant are great. Wish I'd stopped by at lot sooner but now that I did, I can't wait to go back...sorry no pictures but if any of you remember Rally's fries, well don't miss it much-Nexx is your spot to reminisce.

This is my one of the best burger shops I love coming to. The burgers and fries are delicious especially the grilled chicken sandwich. They have the best customer service, Lola, Hugo, and Daisy always smiling and always friendly. And to top it off this place is always clean.

Innout copy cat? Fries are way crispier and Nexx fries have much more flavor than animal fries (has bacon, onions, and cheese). Burgers are also pretty good and you can add more things than innout! (Extra sauce, whole grilled onions, avocado, chili, different cheeses, pickles). New go to burger place. They also have chicken sandwiches!

Just got my order from Uber Eats. The cheeseburger had no lettuce didn't look like the picture. Also, one of my onion rings had a Eyelash on it.

An "in n out" type franchise. But their fries are better in my opinion. They have limonade and soda as well. Chicken is also an option. Oh and beer.. Need i say more?!
