Neyow’s XL Steakhouse delivered an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was upscale yet inviting, with that signature New Orleans charm woven throughout. We came hungry and were not disappointed! I ordered the XL Burger, which was juicy, flavorful, and lived up to its name in size and taste. The pork belly bites were absolutely mouthwatering—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. We ended the meal with their bread pudding, and it was the perfect sweet finish—warm, rich, and indulgent. One of the standout moments of the night was when the chef came out personally to check on our table and make sure everything was to our liking. That level of hospitality really elevated the experience. If you’re looking for bold flavors, generous portions, and genuine Southern hospitality in NOLA, Neyow’s XL Steakhouse is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be returning!

Dinner last night was amazing, our server Windell was amazing and went above and beyond. The food was delicious and came out quick. I would definitely recommend. Thank you Windell for being so kind and accommodating

This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had. The service was severely lacking. When we arrived and waited for our table, the hostess/waitress put the menus on the chair, but didn’t show us to the table. She came back to the stand and said y’all table ready. It’s the one with the menus on it as she pointed in that direction. Seated at around 7:50. Water was given, but drinks took 45 minutes to be brought to the table. We sat directly next to the bar. Ordered appetizers from the happy hour menu by 8:05. Food was brought out about an hour later. Crab dip was terrible, crawfish mac and cheese was terrible. The pork belly bites, crab cake, and wedge salad had good flavor. We weren’t updated nor checked on as we waited for food. Had to ask for refills. It took an additional 30-45 minutes to get the check. Finally by 10 p.m., we were able to leave. I will not be visiting this establishment again.

The food was very good and it had a great atmosphere. It's almost like we were at a club!

Let me start by saying THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD! We had the calamari to start which was breaded and fried to perfection however I wasn’t super impressed with the sauce that came with it. My husband had the gumbo and from the first bite all he could say was wow that’s good. I ordered the rib eye which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I also had the asparagus which was sooo good! The reason for my 3 stars is that our server was one of the worst I’ve ever had. I didn’t get her name but she had a short red fro. She only checked on us once during our meal, she brought my cocktail then we ordered food, but she never came back until the end of our meal and asked if we wanted any more water. Had calamari with no plate, bread with no plate, and steak without a steak knife for quite a while. This definitely could’ve been better.

As a treat to my husband i decided to take him out for Fathers Day with the whole family, i scheduled my appointment for 7:30pm. When we got there we we're escorted upstairs to the dining area. Where we were seated. The waitress went on and on about how she called to let me know something about my reservation saying she called 5 or 6 times which I looked in my phone in fact it was twice around 4pm and no voicemail was left. She basically was callingvto let me know that oysters stopped being served at 7pm. So that being said as were looking at our menus the waitress is still in the the same spot looking over us while were looking at the menu. We were asking our drinks first then appetizers and entrees 1 right after another no break no time to decide on anything so with the waitress still standing there I ordered two kids chicken tender meals for my twins and a Dr. Pepper and 3 bread puddings. I ordered everything to go because at this point my husband was very upset and I was uncomfortable. And, I was not told that the bread pudding contains nuts. My daughter is highly allergic so she couldn't even eat what I ordered the service was very poor and the rushingvwas way out of line and shouldn't have been. I will think long amd hard about going to this resturant again. I politely packed up our food and we left so $65 for 2 kids plates and 3 bread puddings which half of the party couldn't even eat. Very very crazy.

Eh. “Fine Dining” is a bit of a reach. We ended up here because we couldn’t get a table next door at Neyow’s Creole Café. Our server, Salvatore, which wasn’t really his name but it’s something similar - he was really nice. Their bread is served warm and is sooooo good. The entrees and sides were just okay though. The lamb chops are really small. The restaurant is narrow. There’s a single bathroom so we tried to enjoy our “fine dining” at our wobbly table placed up against a wall all while a line was forming just behind us for the restroom where we could hear the toilet flushing. To top it off, we dodged a family of big a** rats living in the alley right next to the restaurant as we were waiting for our Uber. The alley looked to be filled with junk/restaurant equipment possibly from Neyow’s. If they cleared that alley way then maybe it’d help get rid of the rats. I wouldn’t go back here because it wasn’t worth what we spent. The service nor the food meet the standard of fine dining. Sad to say.

We were able to get seated quickly. We did have a large party; so I expected some delay but the food and drinks were slow coming. Katrina our waitress was super great and accommodating. They had a singer who let us request songs so it was like a private show. I would go back. They also brought us oysters from mect door that were super good.
