My very first time coming here and I’m so glad I did. My co-workers told me about this place and had I come alone, I wouldn’t had known what to order! They ordered two different type of noodles, one with shrimp and the other with steak. Oh my goodness they were both DELICIOUS!!! We also had the wings and the popcorn chicken and the dipping sauce to go with them. Everything here was so good, and so full of flavor! Can’t wait to come again and try some more of their dishes.

Great spot for a fast lunch. The green milk tea is a nice balance of sweet and refreshing. The egg rolls were nice and crispy and the provided sauce added a sweet and spicy tang. The bulgogi steak sandwich was delicious and the veggies perfectly balanced the richness of the steak. However, the sandwich was kind of difficult to eat because there was full stalks of cilantro on top. Still delicious, just unwieldy.

Lovely place, but the food was just… subpar. Siblings and I got the specialty noodles (one rice bowl) and were all very hungry, but even then the food was not great. The noodles were mushy, the cilantro thrown carelessly on top without being cut or trimmed, there was very little meat in the bowl. In regards to the rice bowl, there was an absolute mountain of shredded carrots and daikon, which would have been delicious but it was soggy. Nice place, good service n all, but man I felt queasy after eating all that mush. I didn’t even finish my bowl..

My bf and I come here every now & then, and every time we visit, we always leave satisfied. Parking: They’re located in a small corner plaza with limited parking. You can probably get lucky with a spot because there’s constant people coming in n out. Free parking lot. Ambiance/Environment: They have a shared space with Pur Bowls next door. Their side is also small with a decent amount of seating. It accommodates groups of all sizes. It can be a bit tight. Service: The cashier is very courteous, patient, and efficient. Throughput did take a while. We ordered 4 food items, and it took 16 min for us to receive our order. What we ordered: 1) NK Slider Burgers - These sliders were definitely flavorful. The grilled onions and mushrooms were delicious. The beef patties were also cooked well. 2) Cajun Garlic Fries - I paired this with the sliders. I felt there was a bit more garlic than Cajun seasoning. I still enjoyed the fries though I prefer the seasoning to be balanced. 3) Garlic Chicken Breast Sandwich - There was a generous amount of garlic cream sauce. I need to know what they put in this sauce bc it’s like crack. The chicken was cooked well, and the baguette had a perfect crunch. 4) Bulgogi Steak Bowl - This was bigger and more filled than we thought. We appreciated the amount of meat. The sauce on the side gave it extra flavor. 5) Peach & Lychee Green Tea - I looove this drink! It’s sooo refreshing! The lychee flavor definitely overpowers the peach, but I love lychee so it’s okay lol! Pricing: Prices are decent $$ for the amount you get. I’d say it’s worth it. We enjoyed everything and always leave fulfilled & satisfied!

I was casually searching for a Vietnamese restaurant in the neighborhood that has outdoor patio seating, so I could bring my furry friend along. That's when Nguyen's Kitchen popped up in the search results. Located in Orange, CA, Nguyen's Kitchen shares a convenient parking lot with Pur Bowls next door. The service is fast and friendly - simply place your order at the counter, and your food will be ready in no time! The cashier recommended trying their special dishes, and since there were only three options, we decided to order all of them. Garlic Noodles with Grilled Pork: A garlic lover's dream come true! The strong garlic butter sauce complemented the noodles perfectly, topped with tender and juicy grilled pork. Crawfish Pasta: Although the portion size was a bit smaller, the flavors were incredibly rich. This dish was a surprise favorite, featuring baby crawfish, sausage, and al dente pasta. Grilled Pork Noodles: A classic Vietnamese dish done right! The flavors were well-balanced, and the grilled pork was cooked to perfection. The outdoor patio area was clean and well-maintained, although its proximity to the parking lot made it a bit less ideal. However, as a dog owner, I appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. Overall: If I'm ever in the neighborhood again, I'll definitely be back! Nguyen's Kitchen has earned itself a loyal customer.

Google
This chain is a fan favourite in my family, the food is good and the service at this location was nice. It’s nice that they are open later than most places as we came here after a long day. We ordered the Garlic Noodle with pork and bulgogi, Egg Rolls, Grilled Chicken Rice Bowl, NK Chicken Wings and a Viet Ice Coffee. Our top picks would be the garlic noodle, chicken wings and egg rolls, the rice bowl was nothing spectacular and the viet coffee was premade and they add cream once ordered. I feel like it would be best to ask for cream preference because mine was poured with too much cream. The garlic noodles have a very strong garlic taste that I felt even after brushing thoroughly. This wouldn’t be a must try place but it is a good spot to grab something quick

I used to order from here a lot when I worked at the nearby hospital but it’s been a while. The pork sandwich is still really good. I love their spicy green sauce, which has a nice kick. The bread is soft too, which is perfect for me. I used to like the crawfish pasta but now the sauce is too sweet. I remember it used to be a bit spicy. The price has gone up but is still reasonable. I would definitely come back again.

Tried this place for the first time since I was in the area and the good reviews for this place. We came in around 11.30 am on Saturday and the place was empty, so ordered right away. We both got the Garlic Noodles with Grilled Pork and Vietnamese coffee. The garlic noodles are pretty good, with perfect portions, and plenty of pork on top. I love the pork, it’s tender and sweet, but the noodles are just okay. I love my noodles on the firmer side and this one is a little overcooked. The coffee is okay, they already have it ready in the fridge, and when you order they just add some milk to the cup. Overall, the food is good for the price. The place has plenty of seating and is clean as well. Follow @hangrytrails.us for more OC foods 🍴

Yelp
I ordered Nguyen's Kitchen for the first time earlier this week, 2/4/2025. I got the following delivered (prices via the Postmates app and as of 2/2025)!: Crawfish Pasta - $16.95 - Yummy It was very delicious - even though we didn't eat it immediately! The pasta has chunky crawfish, spicy sausage, house tomatoes, and cream marinara sauce. This has a slightly smokey flavor from the sausage, and the crawfish didn't taste too fishy. When my husband and I took a bite, our eyes lit up because we didn't think it would be this tasty! Of course keep in mind that this dish is pretty oily/buttery, but I loved the sauce and the texture of pasta was still al dente (not soggy) I definitely and highly recommend for those who like a seafood pasta! Peach & Lychee Green Tea - $5.45 I didn't get to try this, but my husband enjoyed it. However, he said he didn't taste much peach flavor - just lychee. Popcorn Chicken - $6.45 - My husband said there weren't many pieces, and it wasn't flavorful. I would not recommend ordering this. My review is five stars, primarily due to the crawfish pasta, so I'd consider returning and ordering again!

Yelp
[4.5 stars] - i got the garlic noodles and it was good, but at some point, i feel as if it was missing something. moreover, i got the grilled pork with it and it was delicious and reminded me of how my mom seasons it the same way! they also have a special soft green sauce that i actually liked, idk if yall would like it tho cause im not picky. service: pretty okay! they seemed busy. ambiance: there's a pur bowl (acai dessert place) literally connected to their building, so if ur feeling that you can get it after!! overall, ambiance was chill.

Yelp
We ordered take out through their website. Food was ready when scheduled. We had a pork banh mi & a pork rice bowl Very generous with the pickled veggies on both. Had a bit of a fusion take. The biggest pro is they're open late night, even on weekdays.

Yelp
Nguyen's Kitchen is a modern Vietnamese eatery with multiple locations across Southern California. This location in Orange is next to the CHOC Main Campus and has a small parking lot. Like they advertise, they are "open crazy late" until 2:30am everyday. GRILLED PORK SANDWICH ($10.95) - this was a standard banh mi and the pork was good. 4/5 GARLIC NOODLES ($15.95) - we ordered this with bulgogi steak which was good. The noodles, on the other hand, were not. They were more like spaghetti noodles and we were not fans. We would've much more preferred egg noodles which has more bite and chew. 3/5 CAJUN GARLIC FRIES ($5.95) - there was a decent amount of garlic and seasoning, and I was glad that they were skinny fries. The portions were also good as they almost filled up the platter. 3.5/5 All three of the dishes came with their house spicy green sauce which went well on everything! We also got the peach and lychee green tea ($4.95) which was really tea-forward and refreshing. I surprisingly really enjoyed the drink and would definitely come back to get it again.

Yelp
This isn't a big restaurant, so be aware that parking and indoor seating is limited. Our late night meal was under $75 and included: the NK wings, garlic noodles with grilled pork, garlic noodles with chicken, a bulgogi steak bowl, and two green milk teas. These wings are the perfect addition to a shared meal. They're perfectly crispy without being excessively oily. The sweet shoyu and spicy herby sauces are both delicious additions. The garlic noodles here are quite tasty, but could go heavier on the garlic! The entire meal was satisfying and it's so nice to have a place that opens so late.

Yelp
Definitely a modern/fusion take on Vietnamese food. We were on the hunt for a banh mi around 9 on a Thursday near Irvine and this popped up. Glad they have such late hours as a lot of the other banh mi places were closed. We got the grilled chicken banh mi. All the flavors inside the sandwich were good. Chicken was well seasoned (love the lemongrass!) and tender. The veggies were plentiful, fresh and had a little crunch. The only let down was the bread. VERY soft and no crust or crunch at all. And they put it in a circular tin for takeaway orders which holds condensation as well. It's counter service so you order at the register, they give you a number and you wait for them to call your name. We waited about 10 minutes and we could see them making the sandwiches fresh.

Yelp
Out of the handful of locations I've tried, this is hands down my favorite. Although I always get my order to go, I am always met with a smile. I typically ask for extra green sauce (which I'll talk about later) and the cashier happily obliges, unlike other places who tend to passive-aggressively shame me. If you love garlic, then get the garlic noodles with your choice of protein. If you're looking for a saucy protein, then get the garlic chicken breast, it comes with mushrooms. I stick with the house marinated chicken, which has just a touch of lemongrass, but the garlic is really the star. The teachers at my kids' school always compliments his lunch, when we pack the noodles, and rave over how deliciously garlic it smells. If you like a bit of a kick, then ask for extra green sauce. This location makes it the best, with just the right balance of sweet and spice. You can either dip your noodles in the sauce or just go for it and drizzle it all over. It's a casual ambiance and perfect for a quick bite. It is conveniently located next to CHOC so I imagine they get a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. It's conveniently just off the freeway for me (22 and 5) so it's a quick grab and go. If you're in a pinch, place your order online!

Yelp
I'm sad :( the quality has def gone down and the price went up. If you can feel my pain it just tastes like packaged ramen noodles. They used to have the good egg noodles but I guess it's opted for cheaper, I'm just disappointed. I'm glad they kept their sauce though
google avatar

Maddy S.

Yelp
So delicious! We tried the chicken sandwich and the beef sandwich. Both were juicy with plenty of sauce, flavorful tender meats and full of freshness from the veggies. The bread was warm and soft truly enjoyable every single bite, the side of chili sauce was also great. This is a must try.

Yelp
It could have been better. I had high expectations for Nguyen's kitchen because of all the reviews on yelp. But it really didn't live up to the hype. I'm actually quite confused why this place is so popular. For starters, there really aren't many vegetarian friendly options on the menu. They have a garlic noodle dish that is vegetarian friendly. And a shrimp bowl, that you could maybe order without the aheimp. You would then only be getting a bowl with cucumber, carrots and rice. Pretty boring for vegetarians. I've heard that the garlic noodles are extremely garlicky in flavor, so much so that it's overpowering. Since I recently started eating seafood again, I was able to order the shrimp bowl and that was OK. I received about five jumbo shrimps, and had to peel off the shell and legs of each one. I hate having to do that, I don't like having to peel off the shell and get my fingers all dirty. I'd much rather the shrimp already be de-shelled and put in the bowl. The cucumber, carrots and rice were all fresh. But overall, it just was a kind of boring dish and it's not something that I would crave or want again. My fiancé ordered the skuders and Bulgogi sandwich. He said both were just sort of OK. Nothing to rave over and really nothing blew our socks off. This place was super mediocre.

Yelp
ORDER bulgogi banh mi (4/5) crawfish pasta (4.5/5) my favorite thing here is the crawfish pasta! it's flavorful and they don't skimp on the crawfish. this time around i also tried the bulgogi banh mi, which was also flavorful. the banh mi didn't taste fresh. SERVICE quick and friendly service. AMBIANCE parking is extremely limited and so are the seats inside.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is amazing and everything is so fresh, something I would expect from a restaurant not a little spot like this. The shrimp was fresh the chicken juicy, the beef tender and the bread for the Bahmi sandwiches fresh and crusty. Everything was perfect, came in with a party of 15 and everything came out at a reasonable time. Staff was friendly and the whole experience was perfect. I love that the whole restaurant was clean including the restrooms. So many times you come to a place and the tables are sticky, but not here. We will be back, thank you for a great experience.

Yelp
Food: first time going, ordered wings and sliders, everything fresh, hot & delicious. Chicken super tasty and moist but perfectly crispy on the outside. Not a fan of the sauces, nut others were. Service: fast and friendly Ambiance: casual, open till 2 am so Price:$$

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went here for the first time last week and we loved it! We both got the garlic noodles and shared an order of egg rolls! The cashier was super friendly and nice! Was a smaller place but loved the vibe. Will definitely be back to try more!

Yelp
Great price and quality of food - my favorite dishes are the Bulgogi bowl and the crawfish Cajun pasta. They are open super late as well which is also a plus!

Yelp
One of the best options in the area if you're looking for a good meal late at night Chicken rice bowl: 8/10. I really liked the chicken in this but didn't love the rice and the brown sauce that it came with Garlic noodles with beef: 6/10. Not terrible but I don't think I would order it again
google avatar

Virginia N.

Yelp
My husband and I came here for lunch and we were so pleasantly surprised! This is a fast casual Vietnamese fusion spot and it is so delicious! We've actually came back several times and have tried basically the whole menu, everything we've tried has been solid. You order at the front and pick up your own food so not much in terms of service however the people up front have all been pleasant
google avatar

Yelp
Boyfriend and I stopped to try another local spot. We shared the cajan fries, the bulgogi bowl, and the house chicken sandwich. I also got the peach and lychee green tea. My boyfriend and I both preferred the bulgogi bowl! All of it was delicious though, and the portions seemed big. The sauce that came with the meals had a kick but was so addicting. I couldn't help but take it with me for my leftovers. Service was quick, and we got our food pretty fast too. Limited parking and seating inside, but it wasn't busy when we went in around 3-5pm.
google avatar

Jane T.

Yelp
Such an amazing spot for a quick meal. You really can't go wrong with any of their menu items. Every item is so flavorful. My favorite is the crawfish pasta, I substitute with rice because I'm allergic to wheat and it's still delicious! Nice and clean restaurant inside with open lighting and plenty of seats.
google avatar

Kelly S.

Yelp
TL;DR - late night munchies, variety of asian/vietnamese cuisine. FOOD/DRINKS: *cajun garlic fries + beef bulgogi (+$$) - this was the only item that my friend and i shared, the fries were crispy and the beef was perfectly cooked. my favorite thing was the dipping sauce, it tastes like a spicy tangy aioli. super addicting SERVICE: the cashier was really kind & wasn't rushing us to order while we were looking at the menu 5/5 OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: *parking is free but it's small & tight *there's plenty of seating inside & it's also connected to an açaí bowl shop *we dined in & they have self seating, 1 bathroom per person *despite being a friday night, it wasn't packed :)

Yelp
I ordered a crawfish pasta from this based on friends' recommendation and I've had garlic noodles from here before and it's really good. However, my family and I got very nauseous from eating it. I kid you not, I literally sit in the bathroom for an hour just throwing up. My family had the same problem and we all ate the pasta that I brought home. Not sure if it was old crawfish or the preparation was wrong but I would not return here again after this incident
google avatar

Devin B.

Yelp
I can't believe how long this place has been on my "must try" list before I actually tried it! The family wanted noodles, so we took the opportunity to stop here to get a noodle bowl and a rice bowl. We ordered the bulgogi garlic noodle bowl and the grilled pork rice bowl, an order of egg rolls, and a Thai tea. Service was fine; the guy taking our order was nice but he had to get help with a question we had about the green tea. Not a problem though; I always appreciate "let me find out" rather than "I don't know". So good service! There were a handful of booth seats inside, a couple 2-top seats, and one table that seats I think 8 people. We had no trouble finding a place to sit. The food was cooked fresh to order, and everything was so delicious! We were so hungry I forgot to grab pictures except one of the menu so I could check in. The garlic noodles were perfect, not too strong and tasted fresh. The beef was well seasoned and tender. The grilled pork was also delicious! It came with a little lettuce and some shaved carrot and daikon, and sliced cucumber. The green sauce was tasty but I didn't want to make my food spicy since I was sharing with my daughter. Eggrolls were good and crispy, and the sauce they came with was great! It was about $5 for 2 egg rolls. The Thai tea was sweet and refreshing on a hot day! I really enjoyed it. Everything was great and I'm sure this will become a new favorite lunch spot!

Yelp
Oh its interesting how I've never written a review here even though I've stopped by numerous times. I've had all their drinks including the iced coffee, milk tea, Thai tea, and peach and lychee. My favorite is the peach and lychee and the iced coffee here is the closest thing ill get to vietnamese coffee in the area. It's passble. In terms of food I've had their garlic fries and shrimp garlic noodles, both were good. A hack I've learned recently is to ask for no ice in my drinks and just get a water cup with ice and pour it out as I drink, then when I am ready to leave I just fill the drink with ice and it feels like I got a new drink. LOL. I also ask for pickled carrots on the side and they give me a good portion to enjoy with my food so I like that. 4.5 stars but since I've never had a bad experience here I will give them a 5.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place late Sunday night & was glad I did! We were looking for a late night meal & this hit the spot. We ordered the grilled pork sandwich, garlic noodles with bulgolgi short rib steak & and short rib bulgolgi steak rice bowl for $49. Grilled pork sandwich (4/5) I really liked the grilled pork & glad I chose it. The sandwich was filled & delicious, BUT the bread was a little soggy by the time I got to eat it (we had to drive from the location to Anaheim, which was about 10 mins). I'm used to bahn mi having crunchy bread so the soggy bread threw off the sandwich. Nonetheless, the flavors were there & spice level was perfect. Garlic Noodles with bulgolgi short rib steak (4/5) Noodles were a bit overcooked to my liking, but flavors were great. Bulgolgi short rib rice bowl (5/5) Probably my favorite! They give a pretty big portion of meat, rice & pickled veggies. I wasn't able to eat all of it in one sitting. I do wish they used different containers because the containers the food comes in, is aluminum so I wasn't able to reheat my food in the microwave (we were in a hotel & it was late night so I wasn't going to get a plate or bowl to reheat my food). Really liked that this place is open late at night because it gives you more choices for food. It also looked packed inside so that was a good sign!

Yelp
TLDR; fast and nice service, lots of rice but not enough greens and protein. Open late This restaurant is situated right next to CHOC and is open late, so it's a great location for healthcare workers who get off work late and want a quick meal. The staff were awesome and service was fast. There is plenty of seating in the restaurant, and food comes fast. I got the bulgogi bowl, which tasted alright but I wished there was more protein and greens (basically a thin layer of meat/veggies over a large heap of rice). Overall though, a decent option for a quick meal if you are busy, given the hours of operation and location.

Yelp
I was craving fast and easy Vietnamese food and stumbled upon NK. Based on other recent Yelp reviews, I ordered items that had the best overall ratings. Food / Drink Bulgogi Steak Sandwich Pork Garlic Noodles with Fried Egg Popcorn Chicken Peach and Lychee Green Tea Bulgogi Steak Sandwich (3/5) It was stuffed to the brim which felt like a good deal. However, the bulgogi steak wasn't the best. The sandwich would've been better with the pork. Pork Garlic Noodles with Fried Egg (3/5) The pork was good and noodles were a bit mushy from being overcooked. I was expecting more from this dish because of the rave reviews. Popcorn Chicken (4/5) Thinly coated batter with chicken chunks. If you prefer more chicken meat over batter, this is a good option to consider ordering. It was accompanied with a side of ranch. Peach and Lychee Green Tea (2/5) Sadly, this drink was so sweet and full of sugar. I had to dilute it 3 times with water to pair down the thick concentrated taste. Customer Service Quick customer service was provided by the staff and they were very accommodating during my dining experience. Ambiance Casual dining spot with a shared/connected business called Pur Bowls. Seating is first come first served in wooden booths and a self-service drink station for soda refreshments. Parking Shared parking lot that has several parking spaces with Pur Bowls. It was easy to find along Main Street.

Yelp
Love this place I've been coming to Nguyen kitchen with my parents for a few years now not this specific location but we've gotten from here before as we'll and we always get the crawfish pasta it's so delicious but most dishes in their menu are great
google avatar

Yelp
Been here before and was suprised to see that Purr Bowls is now connected to Nguyen's Kitchen. Food was good, we ordered two dishes me and my girlfriend has gotten before but I also wanted to try something new. I went for the Jumbo Shrimp bowl. I was pretty dissapointed by the size and amount of shrimp compared to the amount of veggies and rice. They keep the shell on the shrimp and cook and season it with it on so by the time I have to peel off the shell, it feels like I tore away the flavor as well. The sandwhich was amazing as always and my girlfriend was satisfied with her pasta as well. I do appreciate the glass window to see through to the cooks cooking the food so nothing is hidden from the customers. They were pretty fast with the order as well given we ordered 3 dishes. Overall, I believe I will stick to what I know I like from here.
google avatar

Kevin D.

Yelp
This place is probably the worst example of Asian or viet cuisine. There is nothing great about it. Just ordering a sandwich, is a cookie cutter sandwich, but nothing blends or meshes well together. I just got a bunch of cilantro and rashes to mask the boring chicken. Save your money and go to a real banh mi spot and have a better sandwich.

Yelp
Be warned: bring extra set of clothes if you don't like food smell on clothes - because you'll smell so strong of food scent onced you entered. It was hard to sit on the kitchen/cooking side because it felt very stuffy/smoky. Sitting by the front door is not much better because the AC was blowing on our foods. Better if order and eat in the car or outside or back at office. Parking was small but we were able to park since we arrived early. Order by the counter, pay and tip at this moment or bring cash to tip after. Staff call your number to pick up your food on the other end of the counter. Staff was patient and cordial. Let us take our time figuring out what we want to order. Inside was clean. Food: Garlic noodles were too buttery and oily for me and lots of spices. Bulgogi is cutomarily prepared on the sweeter side which I was aware of but overall the food tasted all right. Canjun fries with bulgogi were ok and I would order fries again but just by itself. The AC above us were blowing on the foods so they got cool down fast.

Yelp
Was visiting the town and was hungry. Saw some pictures on yelp and thought they looked interesting so we stopped by to eat. Looking from the outside, thought it was a nice big place but when you walked in, it was two restaurants in one building. Once you walked in, you can see the restaurant filled with smoke from the grilling and I mean, smoke was everywhere. Not sure if they have a vent to suck up the smoke from the grilling but you knew once you were in there, you're coming back out smelling like the grill. You would think they had the section blocked off but the grilling was cooked basically next to the tables where people would be eating. The next con I notice was the tables. It was sticky and the staff didn't seem to come wipe it down when customers were done eating. Felt nasty. Onto the food, the sandwhich was really good. Lots of flavor and they stuffed it up. Now onto the garlic noodle dishes, the bulgogi and shrimp tasted ok, kinda lack flavor. The tasty was pretty much coming from the grill meat. The pork garlic noodle was pretty dry.

Yelp
Perfect place for late night snacks after Disneyland. The food is delicious and always made to order and always very hot. The vermicelli bowl was delicious. Very good portion size for the price. The garlic fries was excellent very fresh and hot. Even though it got soggy by the time we got back to the hotel the fries were still very good soggy. Wish I ate more while we were waiting for our other orders. Been back here many times after Disney and they have not disappoint yet which is excellent. Then next door if you want some refreshing açaí bowl is the perfect spot. You have hot food or refreshing foods for your late night snacks.

Yelp
I was craving a sandwich today and decided on Nguyen's Kitchen, specifically their Garlic Chicken Breast Sandwich. One word: AMAZING. Also, it's a pretty big size for what you pay, keep that in mind. The chicken is mixed in a creamy garlic sauce and sits between perfectly baked, yet light, bread. They also put a small slice of cucumber in the sandwich, too. You also get this creamy, spicy sauce that goes perfect on the chicken. It's not too spicy, but just enough for some added flavor. The service is quick there, too. I didn't wait very long for my food and yet it was still quality. The cashiers/service team are kind, too. There's a good amount of seating available inside the restaurant, too, so you can definitely bring your friends here for a hot and tasty meal. Give it a try!

Yelp
Food's good but questionable health practices. Shame on the OC Health Inspectors and NK's management for overlooking the filthy soda machine. As a former restaurant manager, I'm concerned there might be mold inside the ice maker.

Yelp
3.01.24 Had NK bookmarked and was excited to finally visit w 2 of my girlfriends for lunch on a Friday noon. Was in the area and was deciding where to go for lunch. Recalled NK restaurant, asked my other 2 friends if they'd like to come here for lunch and both said Yes. I should've saw the sign that the concept of this restaurant was like modern fast food Vietnamese food w some French quick to it. This was more Americanized Vietnamese food. What we ordered ~ Grilled steak w garlic noodle $ 14.95. The garlic didn't taste like garlic noodles. Had really less flavoring of garlic nor actual garlic bits. I've had way much better garlic noodles and the fragrant of garlic. Definitely nodding the actual key ingredient...GARLIC ~ Popcorn Chicken was yum without the dipping sauce nor spice flavoring. Probably my fav item we ordered. My other girlfriend agreed our fav item was the PC. ~ NK Chicken Wings (6) was decently good. And fried to perfection crispiness. ~ Grilled Pork Noodles . Was good but the fish sauce dressing didn't taste like the original fish sauce you'd find At authentic Vietnamese restaurant. It lacked a lot of flavoring. Was really bummed. ~ Vietnamese Ice Coffee~ was their specialty coffee, was a no go. Too much creamer. Didn't taste like Vietnamese Ice Coffee at all. Was so bummed. Only drank like 25% and tossed the rest out. They have a fountain drink soda machine. Mee and my girlfriend, which we both are very familiar with Vietnamese cuisine thought NK really lacked the flavor of it being Vietnamese food yet alone the authenticity. This location is attached to PUR Bowl. It's shared within the same building and has a passage to go thru each other restaurant. It's a simple fast food restaurant where they have booth like tables and chairs. Parking is a bit on the smaller size and can be somewhat difficult to find especially during lunch hours.

Yelp
Solid spot for when you want food at a late hour but aren't trying to eat fast food. The service is really good. I can't remember his name, but our cashier was very friendly. I enjoyed sitting by the window because it was nice to look out at night and eat my chicken banh mi, definitely a good way to end a night after working.

Yelp
Love the good food at a great price and happy they are open late. I usually get the banh mi and garlic noddles when I come.

Yelp
Nguyen's Kitchen has the BEST garlic noodles around! They are full of flavor, savory and rich. Even though it's more of a casual takeout spot, the food quality is outstanding. You can tell they put care into every dish and the meals are very authentic. It's the perfect go-to for a quick meal that doesn't compromise on taste. The service is pretty quick too! Highly recommend!

Yelp
I initially went here because it was open late. We just got back from Disneyland and it was past 1am, this place stayed open until 2:30am. I ordered the grilled pork rice bowl, it was a 7 out of 10 for me. I would like the pickled carrots and daikon to not be as finely shredded. I personally think they would have been better if they were chopped by hand. I ordered the garlic noodles with bulgogi, this was so good to him, that he ordered it again the next night. My husband went inside to retrieve our order so as far as the ambiance, I don't know, but from the outside it looked nice.

Yelp
This place was pretty good! I have heard pretty good things about this place and was excited to try it. My friend and I got the garlic noodles with shrimp, the crawfish pasta, and the pork banh mi. We took it togo, and they had it ready within 10 minutes at around 7:45 pm on a Wednesday. For the food: The garlic shrimp noodles I would give a 6/10. The shrimp was okay and the noodles themselves felt a bit oily. But the flavor was good. The crawfish pasta was AMAZING 9/10. I loved the sauce and the sausage and crawfish! The noodles were chewy and soft. Finally the pork banh mi I would rate a 7.5/10. I wish the bread was crispy, but the bun was soft and the meat had good flavor. The pickled veggies and cilantro were pretty good, but I have had better. I feel like the pasta was the star. Overall, this place would be a great option for a late night snack. I would definitely go back for the crawfish pasta!

Yelp
I really wanted to love Nguyen's Kitchen because of all the buzz, but honestly, it fell short for me. The food was decent, but it didn't live up to the hype. I tried the Garlic Noodle Bowl with Grilled Pork and the Grilled pork rice bowl, and while they were okay, they weren't anything extraordinary. The flavors just didn't taste the way I expected. Don't get me wrong--it's not bad food by any means, but it's definitely not the mind-blowing experience everyone seems to rave about. Maybe I just came in with too high of expectations? If you're nearby and curious, it's worth a try, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Nguyen's Kitchen: not bad, but not "Nguyen-ing" me over either.

Yelp
Delivery Review!!! Was feeling adventurous for dinner and ordered two Crawfish Pastas on Ubereats with their BOGO deal. It arrived in tin foil containers and warm. The pasta was flavorful with a nice kick to it! It had more sausage than crawfish and the sausage was very salty. We'll have to visit the restaurant to try their other dishes!

Yelp
Hubby and I came here for the first time so we had no expectations. We ordered the crawfish pasta and fried chicken wings at the cashier and we picked up our food at the other end of the counter. We were pleasantly surprised at how flavorful the food was. The crawfish pasta had cut up sausages and the sauce was amazing. This one is a winner. The chicken wings was described on the menu as six pieces but we got seven pieces because one of the wings was small. I appreciated this. The chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. This is comfort food on a drizzly day. The service was fast and all the staff looked like college kids. Our bill came to about $30. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
After driving by here so many times and with the thousands of reviews on Yelp, I finally stopped at Nguyen's Kitchen for lunch. Arrived shortly after 11 am this morning and placed a to go order for the Chicken Sandwich. Received the chicken after a short waiting period and was on my way back home. While the first half of the sandwich was very satisfying, I ended up putting some of the garlic sauce on my second half and OMG!! The garlic sauce made the sandwich even better and brought out all the flavors to a perfection. All the ingredients were fresh and paired well together. Verdict: 5 stars for reasonably priced and delicious food and friendly service! I'II be back. Enjoy and Bon Appetit!

Yelp
This place is solid for a late night snack. Their food is good and very representative of Vietnamese dishes. The prices are a little on the higher side for the size of the portion but it's overall a good find. I wouldn't eat here very often but when I need some grease and honey vibes in the a.m's this is where it's at. I've never had a problem with service and the environment always seems to be bustling.
