Really enjoyed dining here! They have good vegetarian options with fresh, flavorful dishes that don’t feel like an afterthought. Everything was well-prepared and satisfying, and the variety makes it a great spot whether you’re vegetarian or dining with friends who eat meat. Definitely worth checking out!

We visited Nhà Hàng Chay Ngọc Chi for lunch after seeing it listed as a vegetarian restaurant on Google Maps and also noticed it was mentioned in the Michelin Guide 2024, so our expectations were quite high. The place has a nice vibe and the staff are very quick and efficient with service, which we really appreciated. We ordered wantons, fried rice, noodles, and a vegan chicken starter. Unfortunately, the taste didn’t suit our palate at all, everything was overwhelmingly sweet, even the savory dishes. We weren’t able to enjoy the meal because of that, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the prices are extremely reasonable and the service is impressively fast. It might just come down to a matter of personal taste, as some people might enjoy the sweet profile of the food. For us, it didn’t work, but the overall experience was still polite and professional.

Food was incredible. Especially the coconut rice and “ram” spring rolls. Waiters do not speak English and (despite clearly showing on google translate and saying the understood) neglected to cater to my boyfriend’s nut allergy. They said it was okay to take the nuts off and then served a dish with almonds clearly on top. It’s pretty loud and bustling, we took the business as a good sign. That said- this was some of the best food we have had! We brought our friends here since it’s on the Michelin guide and they also loved their food.

Great food, and a chill vibe. Not preppy or bougie as could be expected from a Michelin Guide restaurant. But great vegan food!

My recent visit to your restaurant, unfortunately, did not meet expectations, especially given its Michelin recognition. My partner and I came for a light vegan dinner. While the pricing was reasonable and the staff polite, the dining environment was uncomfortably hot, and the food quality did not reflect Michelin standards. More concerning was the hygiene: butterflies landed on our drinks, and a staff member cleaned a trash bag right in front of our table. I raised this with the manager, but the response was indifferent and not surprised at all. Overall, while the service was courteous, the food and environment fell well below the expected standard.

Nice food. Ordered mushrooms with glass noodles + pineapple juice, total bill ~200k vnd. The atmosphere is just okay, I won't say it is beautiful, but could be more bright and cosy. It wasnt easy to find the restaurant cause it looks too dark from the street. Fast serving, clean.

Wasted Time and Broken Promises (Pictures included) This restaurant showed a shocking lack of respect for our time. We made three separate trips and were turned away every single time. When we first arrived at 3:25 PM, we were told they were closed for a lunch break and would reopen at 5:00 PM. This was not listed on their Google hours but I can understand. We changed our plans and returned at 5:00 PM, but the employee said they were preparing for a party and to come back at 5:30 PM. To make sure there was no miscommunication, I spoke with them in Vietnamese since I’m fluent in both languages. Believing them, we returned for a third time. At 5:30 PM, they changed the story yet again and told us to come back at 7:30 PM. Each trip also required a new Grab car ride. This was more than an inconvenience, it was a series of broken promises and a complete disregard for our time and money. No apology was given. We never even got to try the food and will not be coming back. *The employee that I spoke to twice is in green shirt.
