"Named after the owner’s late mother, Madame Lân exudes Hoi An flair with its decor and lanterns. The sprawling yellow house is surrounded by water features, boasting both indoor and outdoor seating. The chef rolls out an extensive culinary lineup that covers every facet of Vietnamese cuisine, including the signature dish of Da Nang: fried fish summer roll. Sautéed beef with pepper elder is also a popular salad dish to tickle your tastebuds." - Michelin Inspector

I would say if you are in Da Nang for the first time give this place a try. It gives me din tai Fung vibes. Food is delicious but not exceptional but what stands out is the view of the Han River and the decor of the restaurant. The staffs were nice and attentive even though it was packed. I only had to wait 5 minute for our table without reservation on a Thursday lunch. I would order the special grilled fish, nem ran (shrimp egg roll stuff with meat) scorched rice, ca kho tho (grouper) and morning glory again. I would’ve given this place a 5 star but the grilled squid came out cold and their barley was any fish in my ca kho. You can skip the banh beo here and banh it ram. Definitely go to this place once for the experience but if you wanna eat good food for cheap then ask the local. This restaurant menu is too big so they are master of none.

Madame Lan is a beautifully designed restaurant with an impressive setting and layout. The décor and interior are well done, and the open, airy concept makes the space feel fresh and relaxing. We really appreciated having the option to sit either indoors or outdoors, both offering a lovely view of the Han River. The food came out quickly, which is a plus, though it would have been even better if it were served a bit hotter. The menu selection is excellent, with a wide variety of well-prepared dishes to choose from. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. Our table had not been wiped before we were seated, and paper napkins were empty—small details, but noticeable for a restaurant of this level. These preparations should ideally be handled prior to seating guests. Pricing is higher compared to many local restaurants, but that’s expected given Madame Lan’s Michelin Guide recognition and strong reputation. Comparing it directly to smaller or more casual eateries isn’t really fair. Overall, we had a good experience and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. With a bit more attention to table readiness and food temperature, this place could easily reach the next level.

A long-standing establishment with an extensive menu featuring central Vietnamese specialties such as mì quảng, nem lụi, grilled seafood and tender beef over vegetables. Bánh Căn Nhân Tôm Dừa – 106,000 VND Small round rice cakes baked in a special mould with small cavities, almost like miniature waffles. Filled with freshly ground shrimp and served with a rich coconut sauce and fresh herbs. The flavor leaned noticeably sweet, perhaps slightly too sweet, alongside the savory notes. Crispy on the outside and soft inside. Overall, a well-executed and enjoyable dish. Gỏi Cuốn Tôm Trứng Muối – 240,000 VND (5 rolls) Fresh spring rolls with shrimp, salted egg and herbs, a variation on the classic dish, served with peanut sauce. The ingredients were very fresh and the presentation was refined. However, the salted egg was intensely salty and dominated both the peanut sauce and the overall balance of the roll. Nước Ép Ổi – 85,000 VND The portion was very small relative to the price. The flavor was flat and uninspiring, suggesting the fruit was not at an optimal stage of ripeness for juicing. Disappointing, especially at that price point. Summary: There is clearly a professional kitchen behind the operation. However, in the dishes we tried, the precision seemed to focus more on presentation and plating than on culinary balance and depth of flavor.

The food is just OK, and the prices are high compared to the general market. If you’re looking to sample Vietnamese dishes from all three regions, this restaurant meets the criteria of being quick and offering a wide variety. It’s suitable for tourists who don’t have much time and just want a brief overview of Vietnamese cuisine. However, it wouldn’t be accurate to say that all the dishes are delicious. Overall, the food is average, around 6–7/10. If you’re looking for really good food, it’s better to find smaller places that focus on just 1–4 dishes. Tip: Ask for drinks with less sugar when ordering. Ps: A nice detail worth praising is that they provide small baskets for guests to place their belongings under the table.

Great place with delicious food. I am unable to name the dishes but they are a must try. (see photos) Service was just right. The staff are kind. A little bit slow because there was a lot of guest Priced just right. Nhà hàng Madame Lân is a great place to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a beautiful riverside setting. The food is fresh, flavorful, and well-presented, with excellent local dishes and seafood options. The atmosphere is charming and the service is efficient even when busy. A must-visit when in Da Nang.

I dont know why its on michelin guide and the review is like good, but its not meet the expectation. The taste of food is quite average, some bland and not really how it should taste. Really under expectation. And the review is overrated... The food is coming fast but not hot ( just slight warm ). The grilled fish is not too fresh. A bit overcooked. The abalone is okay but not stand out. The egg prawn soup ( smell fishy and prawn or squid not fresh) and beef congee are poor taste not worth mentioning. Its full MSG. Feel thirsty afterwards. Anything we order either is dissapointment or just okay. The price is just way too much. Like double or triple ( i have tried several better restaurant). If you have tried MOC Quan Seafood Da Nang. You would know what i mean. The seafood and the taste of food in moc far fresher and the taste is like 100000 times better and 300% cheaper. Thats why we need to reservation there. So easy by whatsapp. Always full. Walk in take 30-40 min. But worth it. You can wait that long if its worth it. excellent in service, taste and price. The 3 star goes to the security for give us umbrella through the door. Its heavy rain and they held the umbrella for the rest of family.

We visited Madam Lân, a Michelin-listed restaurant in Vietnam, and it truly lived up to its reputation. Everything we ordered was delicious. Their pho was the best we had during our entire Vietnam trip — a must-try. The grilled squid was absolutely outstanding, easily the best I’ve ever had. And the egg coffee… despite being lactose intolerant, I still couldn’t resist and ended up having two cups, even knowing I might suffer later! Service was warm, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant has beautiful Vietnamese-style decor, and its riverside location makes it even better. After the meal, it’s perfect for a relaxing walk along the river. Highly recommended — this place is a must-visit when you’re in Vietnam.

Well-known restaurant in Da Nang, often with a queue, probably also thanks to its nice location and pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food experience did not meet the expectations. The eggplant dish was undercooked and quite bland, lacking depth of flavor. The other dishes were fine in presentation, but nothing really stood out in terms of taste or execution. Overall, the food felt simple and unremarkable. Considering the reputation of the place and the prices, the value for money was disappointing. Nice setting and good location, but for me, the food does not justify the fame or the wait.
