Extremely Disappointed – Poor Service and Obvious Discrimination
This was by far one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had — not just because of the terrible service, but because of what felt like blatant racism. We came to this hotpot restaurant excited to enjoy a meal, but left feeling disrespected and unwelcome.
We were seated fairly quickly, which gave us hope, but that’s where any good experience ended. After being seated, we waited over 25 minutes and not a single server came to take our order — even though we watched multiple other tables, who were seated after us, get greeted, served, and even start eating while we were still sitting there with nothing.
We politely tried to get a server’s attention multiple times, and were either ignored or told, “someone will be right with you,” which never happened. It really felt like we were being intentionally overlooked, and it wasn’t subtle. The staff was friendly and attentive to other tables around us, but when it came to us, we were treated like we were invisible.
When someone finally came over, there was no apology, no urgency, and zero acknowledgment of the delay. The order was rushed, the ingredients came out missing or wrong, and we had to ask multiple times just to get basic items like broth refills or sauces. By that point, the whole experience was already ruined.
The worst part is, it wasn’t just bad service — it was clear that who we were had something to do with it. If you’re not part of their “preferred” customer base, don’t expect to be treated with respect here. It was honestly humiliating.
There are too many great hotpot places out there to waste time or money at one that treats people like this. Never coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone — especially if you value basic decency and equal treatment.
