Nice & Sweet

Impromptu visit to Nice and Sweet, occurred just as I was around the area and found them on Yelp. Unfortunately it's literally minutes before their closing time and hence leaving me with super limited items left. I did learn that they apparently do BOGO every last couple of hours prior to closing time. Targeting their creme brulee doughnut initially, but didn't manage to get one. I ended with their Everything Croissant, which the attendant couldn't have described better when she said it's literally Everything Bagel in the form of croissant. It was flawless for me, coming with cream cheese stuffing, literally like enjoying your bagel with schmear; even better with croissant's flakiness. Would call this a must-try if you visited! I did go for their Sea Salt Choc Chip Cookie and Chai Tea Cookie, both of which were lovely! Their cookies were those with crispy edge and soft at the center. The Chai Tea despite being tad sweeter than I expected, it was peculiar and worth trying. I'd say everything I tried on this first visit just validated that there's surely next ones!

The food is premade for the day and sits behind a glass you can pick and choose from. We got a some doughnuts that were tasty. Our coffee was well made and the location was very clean inside.

Loved this fantastic independent during our visit to LA! Popped in twice - takeaway first time and dined in on a later day - as it has such a friendly, bright vibe. Brilliant both times. The staff are all lovely and helpful, the coffee is on point, and the cakes all look amazing (and the few we had were delicious). Definitely pop by if you’re in the area!

Must-visit bakery! This hidden gem exceeded expectations. The roast beef sandwich was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, and the cinnamon roll was soft and just sweet enough (I don’t like my pasties too sweet and this was perfect). Amanda's friendly service made it a standout experience. Will def be back!

Excellent price for a good Americano. Also got a cinnamon roll which was more like a croissant but still super tasty!

I would love to review the food but I can’t. Their hours are wrong on google. I came twice and its closed. Very unprofessional. If your gonna be closed, update it on Google. So annoying

I have been meaning to give this place a try and finally did. The cinnamon roll was good and I highly recommend eating it with a knife and fork because it gets messy. The croissant was so incredibly flaky which isn’t a bad thing. I wanted to get other things like the chocolate strawberry torte but it wasn’t available. Give this place a try!

Clean interior with nice high top tables for inside dining. Service person was sweet; however, the individual did not have many insights into the products. Fortunately, we're adventurous. The haul - all items were well baked and not overly sweet. Brownie - nice chocolate flavor, small bits of chocolate chunks. Zucchini cake with dolce de leche topping - hint of cinnamon, good texture, topping complemented the cake nicely. Sugar cookie - basic cookie, chewy versus crispy.. almost tasted like margarine versus butter. Chocolate chip cookie - basic and chewy. Chocolate croissant - nice melty chocolate inside, well baked, great crunch. Plain Croissant - great textures and crunch. Slightly oily finish. Plain Beignet - perfect exterior color, fluffy texture, great chew. This is a winner. Crème Brulee Beignet - Burnt sugar/caramel coating - super crunch! Inside is a vanilla custard filling, light and creamy just enough. Another winner. Fluffernutter pie - beautiful looking pie. The crust was flaky, but it didn't really live up to its name. The meringue topping did not taste like the marshmallow fluff I was expecting and there was only a thin layer of a peanut butter flavored mousse. There was a thick layer of rich chocolate ganache which was good, but detracted from the Fluffernutter experience.

What a wonderful new bakery in town! They were so friendly and welcoming here, we absolutely loved their croissants and crème brûlée donuts! We also purchased their fluffy pie for a party, and it was a huge hit! Very rich and decadent, and perfectly baked. Their prices are fair, the quality well worth the splurge. I would returnfurther donuts and croissants, these were excellent and crave worthy!

Ayo!!!! New Bakery/Cafe in town, been wanting to try this place. Cute Cafe that offers different pastries, pies, cakes, cookies as well as coffee bar. Flavors of all the items were def modern flavors and not your basic betch items, lol. I ordered their Brûlée Donut and it was Fire!!!! Had a nice soft brioche dough, crackly torched caramelized topping and then a light vanilla bean pastry crème. I would def order this again. Large parking lot, lots of seating inside and they only accept cards. The ladies who served me were so nice and place was very clean. They are open from 8-4 daily, gota check this place out. They also serve sandwiches as well.

Such a cute little spot! We got the matcha latte and vanilla latte and both were great. The matcha tastes high quality (way better than the matcha from Starbucks next door). Definitely will be back to try the sandwiches and pastries!!

This place is closed now. Just visited and they had to shut their doors. There is a coffee shop here now that seems to be a pop-up and hence temporary.

Great food, drinks and service! I've been here multiple times and I'm always impressed with their staff. I get their chai latte with oat and it's got a really nice balance and isn't overly sweet. Their bakery is really good as well! The sandwiches are kinda pricey but the portion size and flavor make it ok. The bread is also really soft and not too crunchy which I appreciate

This place was a literal sweet surprise. Tried a bit of everything and it was all fantastic x. The Zeus Ex is a MUST-MUST-MUST eat. The homemade focaccia bread was some of the best I've ever had, and honestly it might be the best sandwich I've had in LA.

Fantastic place, great alternative to Starbucks. Light vibe, very clean, and welcoming environment. Priced just right and don't get me started on the pastries!

The baked goods, sandwiches and coffee here are truly excellent and delicious. The staff is friendly and engaging. Nice & Sweet is a world-class patisserie- a treasure !

went to visit la in July and haven't stopped thinking about it since! Amazing drinks and pastries, welcoming service, and friendly atmosphere! Try the cruffin and the crème brûlée donut :]
