Nice Day Chinese is hands down the best food I've had in a very long time! My daughter and I stumbled upon the Huntington/Melville location by accident. I ordered spicy chicken and shrimp with broccoli and carrots over rice and it was honestly so delicious, I could not stop eating it lol. The food came out super quickly, the portion size was huge and it just had so much flavor. My daughter is a vegetarian so she ordered the tofu with mixed vegetables and loved every bite. We will definitely be going back soon! Thank you so much for the great experience!

Terrible customer service, I was the first in line but they made me wait 40 minutes for my order while other people after me got their order first. The quality of the food here has also gone downhill. The fried rice tastes disgusting, it's all soy sauce. Soup has a texture like a super thick stew which made it gross. They also incorrectly made a dish but didn't apologize. There are better Chinese restaurants out there. Avoid this place.

I’m sorry but this has to be some of the worst food I’ve had. I ordered the hot and sour soup cuz I thought it sounded good and wanted something light to go with my meal… it literally had the texture of slime even though the description said “broth”. It also just didn’t have much flavor. My main meal was the Singapore Mei Fun.. the shrimp tasted dirty, the chicken was bland, and the dish overall was flavorless; it was also very dry. I literally had one spoonful of my soup and flushed it down the toilet. & I barely ate the noodles too, I just couldn’t do it. For the prices too? definitely not worth it.

I love this restaurant. Food quality and preparation is excellent, far superior than most typical Chinese restaurants. You can just tell. Staff is polite, friendly, and respectful. When they make mistakes, which is rare, they always take full accountability. Overall, very impressed and highly recommended!

Very nice. Great food. Fresh - actually. Homemade, the egg rolls were home made and tasty. I got ribs without sauce, I didn’t know you could do that. They were great. Brown rice was light and not sticky. They even wiped the table and seat down after I left. Take out does not smell at all, everything is new, it is surprising that it was a Chinese takeout how fresh everything is.

I ordered catering trays for New Year’s Eve last minute on the day of. Everything was packaged beautifully and the food is delicious! Such care the order was handled with and the food is very fresh! I highly recommend Nice Day Chinese!!

Exceptional take out! Ginger beef is savory with a perfect touch of sweet, wontons are like clouds, light and flavorful in the soup and the chicken chow mein has a perfect blend of veg and tender chicken. All is fresh and delicious.

Great spot for a blend of Chinese and Chinese-American take out or eat in. They offer some options that are hard to come by in these parts such as the Singaporean curry noodles. The menu is pretty diverse and caters to a large audience while not being overwhelming and has been consistent over the past couple of years.

Nice Day Chinese is, hands down, one of the best food experiences I have had. Their food is not only delicious, however, as well encompasses a healthy taste and feel to it. I have enjoyed being a regular for Nice Day Chinese, and I truly appreciate the eatery. David Madison

Favorite take out. Food is similar to that at Panda Express but no tables and everything made to order.

Low quality Chinese food. I ordered lo mein noodles w beef and the noodles were ramen. My son had orange chicken and it wasn't good it tasted as if they poured duck sauce over it. My friend did order shrimp and chicken shumai and that was decent. Wouldn't recommend and would never return Way to expensive for the quality of the food

The first time I tried Nice Day I have to say I wasn't impressed but they had just opened so I figured I give them another shot. They are not the absolute best I've ever tasted but we have gotten some good dishes and would order again.

I've been to the Huntington location several times and usually enjoy it. I love their bok choy dishes. This time I ordered eggdrop wonton soup - delicious- and steamed shrimp with bok choy. The shrimp was sooooo overcooked! The texture was gross and the shrimp had a chemical or moth ball taste. I was so disappointed.

I'm a dumpling aficionado. Got the pork xiao long bao (soup dumplings), fried chicken dumplings, and steamed pork wontons. So good! I will be back.

We moved to Huntington and were looking for a great Chinese take out! Look no more because this is it. The app makes ordering easy, the price is very reasonable for the portions. Food tasted very fresh and not heavy like other places! We are excited to try other items and will 100% be back!

First time here . Got an egg roll (they don't have shrimp rolls, dammit ). It was average. Got an order of shrimp Lo Mein . It was average . $17.69 ...... that would have cost $12.39 - Pre Covid , Pre Industrial attack on our nation and pre Biden.

Always such good food! I absolutely love Dan Dan Sesame Noodles and today we also tried the Steamed Chicken dumplings and the Steamed Walnut Bao. You will never go wrong ordering from Nice Day. The place is spotless which is a huge plus in my book as well.

The food is always fresh and tasty. Service is usually fast and on time. The place is clean on the inside. I love ordering the soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao). The flavor inside is so tasty! Definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Not sure how I feel about Nice Day Chinese over at Huntington. They clearly have an infestation of roaches. The one that's pictured almost landed on my soup. Cleanliness could be better too.

Excellent food. Fresh tasting. Not heavy sauces. You can taste the vegetables, meats, rice. Orange chicken actually tasted the oranges. Great General's chicken. Highly recommend the Shrimp with Lobster sauce and ANY of their dumplings. Fast service.

I originally issued a much deserved poor review for this restaurant, but, after three years, I decided to give it another try and found major improvements. My first issue was with the greasy chicken dark meat thigh on the Kung Pao chicken, but that's been rectified. They've since switched to white meat for all their chicken dishes. My next issue was with the soup being bland and them only giving a miniature container of noodles. This has been fixed as well, and the soups are now excellent there and they give you a large bag of noodles. The egg rolls are also better. I tried the place a few more times and have been happy with everything except for the Lo Mein, which has too thin a noodle and lacks taste. Otherwise, I now recommend this restaurant, so ignore my previous review and give it a try.

I read about them a while back in Bon Appetite magazine & it mentioned "cheeseburger egg rolls" well that got my attention! I started following them & saw they were coming to LI in Melville. I just hadn't gotten a chance to go since they opened. We'll I'm off from work today so guess where I wound up, yep! I got my cheeseburger egg roll & I loved it! It really tastes like a cheeseburger. It's beef,cheddar, & onion in a crispy egg roll with a relish mustard sauce. I enjoyed every crispy delicious bite. I'm regretting not taking some home with me, but that means I'll have to go back. I'm ok with that!

This was the worst Chinese food take out I have had in a long time. it tastes like mall food chain Chinese but worse. I ordered bc the ratings were high and i wish I didn't.

We ordered the steamed vegetable bao, steamed pork dumpling, cheeseburger roll and Cantonese pineapple chicken through their website. Food came out great and very timely! I also upgraded my rice to pork rice and they gave a good amount of meat! Will order again~

Been a customer for a couple of years and getting mediocre takeout food, I placed an order last week which I found inedible. Spare ribs 90% fat and 10% beef. Also Chicken with Mixed vegetables terrible. There was a coating of skin and fat on the chicken to the point where it was tasteless. This experience was a shame since the counter personnel are so friendly and helpful. It's time to find a new takeout facility and give up the location convenience.

I came here for the 1st time about 2 weeks I ordered the egg drop soup it was excellent I also got the Chow Mein fun. There was little too much on the curry but it was good. Today I ordered the same dish except for a little less curry. Well they completely omitted it. It was OK. The place is clean And the people are very friendly.

Welcome to the neighborhood Nice Day Chinese! This spot is really great for fresh, delivery or takeout Chinese food, and I feel like the response from locals will follow. I ordered the Wonton Egg Drop which was hot and delicious, big portion too, all of the sizes are decent and they are fresh with ingredients that are noticeable in the preparation. Also got some Vegeterian Bao's, an order of 4, which are very filling and go great with the sauces given in the order, plus some Soy and Orange sauce. Finally I got the Spicy Chicken, which is essentially like a giant package of Nuggets, and filled with peppers and seasoning to give it an extra kick. The chicken seemed very fresh and tender, and I feel the only thing that could help this is maybe a dipping sauce, like Ranch, but it's delivery, so you should have some in your fridge. No household is complete without Ranch or Blue, So have it on deck and enjoy the meal! Highly recommend, delivered on time, nice packaging and branding, will order again.

Nice Day Chinese in Huntington has the best Chinese food in the Town of Huntington? Why? Because the vegetables are so fresh, and the sauces are delicious. I get the DIY bowl with tofu and fresh vegetables with a delicious brown sauce. I tried the Unami sauce tonight and it was delicious too. My wife gets the spare ribs and feels they are the best around. They are unique. She also gets the fried rice with egg and vegetables with added chicken. We haven't been disappointed.

Live around the corner and went tonight for the first Time. I was very disappointed. Order clearly says no bean sprouts. As you can see, they added bean sprouts . For the lo mein with chicken and peppers, there is literally 6-10 tiny pieces of chicken and barely any peppers . You have to search for them. Also, the noodles were hard and there was hardly any flavor.

I'm not too sure what niche Nice Day is trying to fill. The restaurant doesn't taste better than American Chinese spots and doesn't make it unique enough for it to stand up by itself. Maybe it is only for Lucas Sinner fans. The chicken and broccoli with "umami sauce" is the same chicken and broccoli you would get when you choose the diet option in regular takeout spots. Chicken was bland and stringy and the broccoli tasted old and looked discolored. The Mapo mac and cheese did neither of its inspirations justice. I don't taste anything that resembles Mapo flavor except for the strong soy sauce taste. There was also nothing cheesy about it as you can see by the almost naked macaroni pieces. Finally, the macaroni was insanely overcooked and tasted like the noodles that come out of the can of chicken noodle soup. The fried chicken wings were overcooked and stringy. Not plump like regular takeout spots, more like sun dried and shriveled pieces of chicken jerky. The taste was somewhat sweet and had a distinct baking soda taste. The baking soda was probably why the chicken looked so tan and dry. The general tso's was the only takeout item that didn't go too far on the deep end. However, it was very salty compared to the blandness of the other half of the meal. The meat to breading ratio was skewing more towards breading but that's a common problem in takeout joints. Overall, I felt the fusion dishes were lazily and sloppily made and the regular takeout dishes had nothing new to offer. I think Lucas Sin needs to go back to the drawing boards with everything.

New local restaurant (Went to the Walt Whitman location). Friendly service. Food was good and take out spot was clean.

Sorry to be the spoil sport - but... After 3 tries I'm still looking for something good to eat. Tonight's disaster was the orange chicken $12.95 - white meat, a $2.95 surcharge. Chicken came out as soggy, not crispy, little cubes. It was like they let them sit in warm but not hot oil. Fried rice (another surcharge) is brown, but it certainly doesn't tasted fried. Previous disappointments were the sub par spareribs and egg rolls. Inferior to every other local Chinese takeout. Soup also disappoints. Three visits - no happiness. There will not be a forth.

Been waiting to visit and do a review of this place and it finally opened and I got the chance to. We ordered lunch specials sesame chicken with white rice and chicken wings with golden rice both came with a drink and 2 spring rolls. The spring rolls were pretty good and the sesame chicken seemed to lack the sweetness I was used to but overall it was very good. The chicken wings were crunchy and good, the golden rice is basically white rice and a bit of egg and onions which was pretty good as well We also ordered wonton soup and soup dumplings. The soup dumplings weee absolutely delicious and the wonton soup was pretty good too. Overall I would recommend visiting, the location is very clean and very nicely decorated. Im excited to try some other things next time.

Food here is awesome!! Best Chinese takeout in the the Huntington, Melville area for sure. Highly recommend to try the dim sum soup dumplings.

Really great sesame chicken, some of the best that I've ever had! I also got the general tso over fries and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten. It was even good cold the next day. The bubble tea was great too!

Got delivery and we were really happy with the quality of food and taste. We ordered: 2 orders of xiao long bao, dan dan sesame noodles, steamed pork dumplings, beef & broccoli, and general tso. Soup dumplings arrived hot and not too stuck together, only 1 or 2 broke when we were pulling them apart. Dan Dan noodles were the crowd favorite and we loved that they gave a generous portion. All other dishes were ok, not spectacular but not bad. We liked their branding and take out containers, not cheap and protects food well. Will order from here again soon!

This is the first time my wife and I tried Nice Day Chinese. Hands down the best Chinese take out Imwe have had in years! Their DIY bowl is simply the best idea, super customizable and their egg rolls are not the typical Restaurant Depot quality. These also are fantastic. The presentation of the food and the cleanliness of their restaurant is 180 degrees from the Chinese Take out place that it replaced. If you want a great experience get take out from here next time!

I have to say I really enjoyed the soup dumplings I got. Honestly not sure if they're made there but they're so good still. Small little seating area so I did take out.

Drove 1.5 hours to check out this location and we are definitely coming back. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, the dry dragon stir fry pot had the perfect marriage of spice and Mala seasoning, their signature spicy Szechuan crispy chicken was very good - reminds me of the ones you get at authentic Szechuan restaurants. Had the Taro bubble tea and it was great. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu! This is not your traditional American Chinese takeout spot, so keep that in mind. They still had my go-to's like Shrimp with Lobster sauce, General Tso's Chicken and Beef with Broccoli on the menu... but they also had more inventive items like Mapo Mac and Cheese and Cheeseburger spring rolls. Looking forward to trying the soup dumplings, Dan Dan noodles and Mapo Tofu Love their traditional flavors with a modernized fusion twist.

so yummy! the fried pork dumplings are the best i've ever had and the place is cute and clean nice and modern. cute marketing. the wonton soup needed some extra salt without a doubt, it didn't have any really but other than that the dumplings and wontons in the soup are amazing. food tastes very fresh here and u get $5 off your first online order which is cute. so good!

OH MY GOD! this place is SO GOOD! the dumplings are so good. best dumplings ive ever had. the service is pretty good too, people are nice. THOUGH. there is problems with the delivery. they will 7/10 times get your order wrong recently, but the food makes up for it, and they can fix it. still very annoying though.
