Niche Hotel Athens (Athens, Greece) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"In English we often use the word “niche” to describe something that’s not for everyone, something that isn’t designed for mass appeal. But there’s nothing about the Niche Hotel Athens that’s a difficult or acquired taste — instead, think of the meaning that implies a cozy little corner where you can tuck yourself away. This is a boutique hotel that’s classically inspired but contemporary in its design, and a place whose distinctive good looks are not at all at the expense of warmth and comfort." - Tablet Hotels

This is really a hidden gem. Im not even sure how I lucked out booking it but wow. Its cozy and the rooms are immaculate. The bathroom is gorgeous. The staff is top notch. The communication before hand was always a priority returning an email and getting back to me with my questions. They have the coolest spa that I had not time for but it def will be on my list when I return. I also ate in the rooftop restaurant the stork was delicious. My breakfast was included and boy do they put out a beautiful spread. Each room has a lovely coffee maker and they give you complimentary water and beverages which really was a nice touch. Its in a great area and check out the pictures from the rooftop. Pretty cool. A+ in my book.

The niche hotel Athens has been an incredible stay. It is beautiful modern hotel with amenities and a fantastic location. The staff there truly embody professionalism and hospitality. We stayed with them for our honeymoon and cannot be more grateful to the hotel staff who made our trip so memorable. A special thank you to George and Nikos, as they personally went above and beyond to ensure we had the most amazing time that we possibly could while in Athens. We will treasure the memories of this trip for the rest of our lives. If you are looking for a great hotel in Athens look no further! The Niche is wonderful.

We stayed at Niche Hotel Athens for one night at the start of our trip, and it was an amazing experience. The hotel is beautifully designed and spotless. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was small but very well appointed and stylish. Just a heads-up: the shower is only partially frosted and pretty open to the room — fine for couples, but maybe a little awkward otherwise. Breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of options and an unforgettable view of the Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant. The real standout moment came after we checked out. I realized I had left important medicine in the room, and we were already at the port for our ferry. I called the hotel, and within 20 minutes, someone hand-delivered it to me. Truly above and beyond service. Highly recommend this hotel for both the quality and the exceptional hospitality!

My wife and I stayed one night in May and were very impressed. The rooms are comfortable and designed to fill the needs of the most demanding guest. Our room had stunning views of the Acropolis. There is a terrific rooftop restaurant, which also has Acropolis views and where friendly waiters serve great food and drink. I must give a special mention to the hotel staff who were unfailingly helpful and friendly. This is a four star hotel that provides levels of service and comfort well up to the standard of a five star establishment. We had a great experience. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very central to the must see activities and beautifully designed on the inside. It's about a 5 minute walk from the main strip Plaka and then maybe a 10 minute walk to the Accroplis entrance. It had ruins in the basement of the hotel which the display from the outside. The ruins are attached to the spa but we didn't end up using it. Upstairs they have a rooftop patio which is a bar / resturaunt. We went up there every night for a nightcap and it overlooks the Acropolis which is incredible at night. In the morning that's where they have their breakfast (which is included). They also arrange shuttle to and from the hotel which is a slight decrease than getting a taxi / Uber. It was 45€ for 2 people and two luggages. We took a taxi / Uber from the airport to the hotel and it was 50€ for reference. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating I would definitely come back.

Stayed at Niche Hotel Athens with my wife in early June. We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. It is central and a short walk to some amazing restaurants near the Parthenon museum. The hotel itself is modern and the staff really go out of there way to look after you. The room was spacious compared to other hotels with room to move around and not feel too congested. If the pillows weren’t comfortable don’t worry, the hotel has a pillow menu so you can go downstairs and choose a pillow that is suitable for you. The hotel breakfast was really good! Fresh orange juice is made daily upon request, Greek coffee and a selection of great breakfast options. The hotel also offers spa treatment. This is situated under the reception and you are surrounded by ancient ruins. It is a great experience and truly relaxing. We really loved how accessible this hotel was to get around Athens. Would definitely return in the future.

We stayed at Niche Hotel Athens for 3 nights, and it was perfect. The entire experience was amazing; a dinner on the rooftop, spa in the ruins below the hotel, rooftop breakfast, and the Acropolis View Suite was 100% worth it. This was also the perfect launch spot for our busy days of walking around Athens. Highly recommend and I would come back again!

I went in May of 2024. This is a wonderful hotel in a great location. The Acropolis, metro station, tram station, and many other locations are all within a few minutes walk. The office and pickup location of the tour company I used is also just a few minutes walk away. The hotel itself is very nice. It's very clean and modern. The staff was wonderfully helpful and always smiled and said hello when I was coming or going. I had a little mix-up when I was checking in about a prepayment (NOT their fault...it was the company I used to book my reservation) and they were very patient and kind while I sorted it out. They found ruins in the basement that they were excavating, and you could visit them or view them from the glass floor in the lobby (very cool!). The rooftop restaurant is a very good family style restaurant (portions meant to share). I ate there several times during my stay for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The views are incredible! I really felt like I treated myself to something special here.
