Came to the grand opening in the evening, right as they opened for dinner around 5. Restaurant was nicely decorated, fun Greek pop music playing. Lots of employees waiting to help! Ordered a lamb and beef pita with a side of Greek fries (fries with feta cheese, garlic, and green onion) and an order of loukoumades (greek honey-puff donut-like pastries). Was charged more at the register for the loukoumades than the menu stated, but after I brought it up the manager recognized that it was a mistake and comped the dessert entirely, very kind.
The gyro had a good soft pita and tasty meat, but skimped on the red onions a bit. I'm also used to cucumber in my greek gyros, but they don't do that I guess. The fries were... well, kind of like In-N-Out fries, in the not great way? Tasted like potato but were a bit limp and underdone with no real seasoning. The Greek fries also really needed some tzatziki sauce or something to dress them up because they were otherwise very dry. The loukoumades had 7 or 8 of the puffs, so good value for the money. While the taste was right on they were more dense than I'm used to, not as puffy and crispy as I typically see loukoumades.
The place has good promise, and I'll probably come back once they've settled down, but I might not get the fries again.
