A 75-Year-Old Retired Nurse Cooks the Delightful Comforts of Soviet Armenian Food in Orange County - Eater LA

"Opening a deli was the last thing Karine Hajian expected to do after retiring from a 40-year nursing career at the age of 73. But boredom, a desire to meet new people, and an empty storefront next to her husband George’s Los Alamitos antique shop led her to begin a new career right after finishing up the last. Hajian was originally hoping to open Borsh Deli in early 2020, but then the pandemic hit. Over the next two years, she continued to pay rent on the space and tinker with recipes before finally opening in April 2022." - Judith Rontal

The 15 Best Breakfast Burritos in Orange County | Eater LA

"Chorizo, bacon, eggs, potato, and cheese. The breakfast burritos at both Nick’s Delis tucked away near the far west corner of the LA/OC border still remain one of the best bang-for-buck burrito options around, as each comes stuffed with all of the above and runs under $10. Another viable option is the Italiano burrito: Italian sausage, diced potatoes, scrambled eggs, cheese, and a choice of salsa" - Sean Vukan

We used to work next to the Nick's Deli II and it was great having them at walking distance over several years. From breakfast to lunch we enjoyed eating here. All the boys that work making the food are great cooks. The breakfast burritos, sandwiches and meal plates are all delicious. The coffee is tasty too. Everyone is always in a great mood especially when you enter they all greet you. We really love coming here and you will too. See you there.

Went for the breakfast burrito after hearing about it from a friend. I’m normally not one to go eat alone but from the moment I walked in I felt a very positive atmosphere. After ordering at the door you can choose your seat. I went on a Thursday morning and it was pretty empty so I was able to sit in their patio area. After you’re done eating you tell them your number and you pay. The burrito was great so I’ll definitely be back to try more things off their menu.

Google
Yummy and filling burrito for a low price! When you walk in, they will take your order on a notepad, they give you a receipt and you sit and they bring your order. After your meal, pay at the register. We sat on the back patio which was so relaxing and peaceful. I enjoyed the burrito which was bursting with flavor and filling. My partner enjoyed the breakfast sandwich. Highly recommend for a tasty, quick and affordable meal!

Google
The best breakfast burrito on the planet! Ask for it toasted and with extra salsa… you’re welcome. And Nick (yep, THE Nick) is such a sweetheart. Eat here anytime I’m in the area! 🌯 🍳

This is a small deli style place where I was immediately greeted when I walked in and my order was taken. I can’t believe how fast these folks are and how busy they are too. They had a huge catering order right before and after me plus a couple dozen folks just walk in-my food was still ready in under 10 minutes. I came tow mornings in a row and got a breakfast burrito and then a machacha burrito-they are both fantastic and absolute must have items! Their menu is so much more with tons of plates, subs, sandwiches (both hot and cold). I can’t believe they make breakfast burritos for $10 cuz it seems like everyone has raised prices so much, but that makes this place even more amazing. Every person was friendly and I’m not exaggerating when I saw that the cooks, the cashier and the welcome greeter guy I saw all give different people hugs, or high fives or personalized greetings and even teasing some of the well known customers. Makes me wish I lived around here and not in another state so I could be a part of the family atmosphere they have created.

Google
Came here as part of an endless quest for the best breakfast burrito. Their offering was solid. Definitely get the free salsa cup to add on to the burrito as you enjoy it. We ate in the open patio/breezeway in the rear which I recommend over any of the inside tables. This is a typical stripmall setup, but with more seating than expected. No frills.

Google
I was looking for a good breakfast burrito and saw lots of good reviews for Nick's II. The pictures also factored into my decision to give them a try. I walked in and was immediately greeted. Since this was my first time, a nice gentleman gave me a couple of suggestions. I went with the classic breakfast burrito. I couldn't wait to try it. The burrito was nicely filled with a good mix of chorizo, bacon, eggs, potato & cheese. I experienced all the flavors in each bite and it was really good. The size wasn't massive but definitely big enough to take care of your hunger. It also came with a nice side of salsa (more than just a sample size) and also a spoon which came in handy to get salsa in all the right places! They also have other items from breakfast & lunch on the menu as well as a great selection of chips, fountain drinks & coffee, and a variety of bottled drinks. I would highly recommend Nick's II for breakfast burritos. I also plan to return to try other breakfast burritos and other things on the menu.

Google
My first time here. Went with a buddy for lunch on a Saturday. It was crowded, which I took as a good sign. Bad restaurants are never crowded. We were greeted at the door by a man with an order pad, who took our order, told us to have a seat and our order would be brought to us and we could pay after we ate.. The restaurant has lots of indoor seating and some outside seating, which is where we sat. We served ourselves at the soda fountain, where water is also available. It only took a few minutes to get our orders. We each has a pastrami sandwich and an order of fries. The pastrami was just about the best I've ever had in SoCal. Very lean. Cooked properly. Seasoned correctly and served while still warm off the grill. The fries were also awesome. They were seasoned and quite tasty. All in all, this is a great place to eat. I liked the New York deli 'feel' and atmosphere, loved the food, and would not hesitate to dine here again.

Yelp
This came up on my list so i had to take a moment to review bc who doesn't love Nick's? Surfers come from everywhere to stop by Seal Beach to have their breakfast burritos ... We may not have the waves, but we definitely have the best breakfast burritos around! Nicks Deli 2 has been around for a while also! A little more inland than the original spot and over by Katella and Los AlamItos Blvd - smart move to open number two over by the high school Los Al High establishing the next generation of Nick's customers. My family and I moved into Seal Beach in 1998 with growing boys they quickly discovered Nick's burritos! We absolutely love, Nick and his family, and so happy that they remained local and successful. I don't live in the area anymore, but close enough to enjoy them occasionally. Its always such a great day when you can start off having a breakfast burritos from Nicks!

Yelp
Bacon, eggs, potato -- three things that are hard to screw up. Wrap it all in a tortilla and you're bound to have at least a decent experience. But depending on the joint, the balance could be all off. Sure, the American way is more MORE MOAR -- but for the ideal breakfast burrito, the ratios have to be just right. Nick's Deli Part II gets it golden. The circumference of their breakfast burrito nails the magical '2-bite-at-a-time' size as you make your way down the food pipe. Request the bacon extra crispy for the best time.

Yelp
Food Was one of those mornings that I was craving a breakfast burrito and I have always been hearing about Nick's Deli II having pretty good breakfast burritos. I love breakfast burritos and a really good one can really make my day. I went in, got a chorizo breakfast, and it came with salsa as well. It wasn't love at first bite since it seemed to be mostly tortilla at the beginning, but as I kept eating and got closer to the center of the burrito then I was amazed. The burrito was so good, it was really filled and everything was seasoned perfectly and I love the size of the burrito as well that it was a good size for the price. It wasn't overly big as well. The salsa that it came with was pretty good as well and just the perfect amount of spicy to complement a breakfast burrito Service/Ambiance It's a small hole in the wall type of place, few seating but a kinda expansive menu. From the time I ordered to the time I received the burrito, service was relatively quick. Would definitely recommend this place if you are on the hunt for a good breakfast burrito. Would definitely come back

Yelp
Best breakfast burritos!!!! I been going here since they opened. I don't ho as often cause I don't do that many breakfast burritos. I been a fan from the OG location on Seal Beach (Main Street). Same great flavor, awesome customer service

Yelp
If it's good enough for Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Trevor McGill who grew up in our little area of these United States, it's good enough for me. This place is the embodiment of family. Ran and operated by probably the same people. Blue collar workers come in and out, fist bumps are given, its insane the whole feel of it all. There is clearly a culture, a family, and a town here; and they serve kick-ass food. I ordered the breakfast burrito. The Breakfast burrito was simple, not gonna sugarcoat it. But sometimes simple is great. It was warm, delicious. I saw they had pickled eggs too!? Insane and first time trying it, super full of flavor. Parking on Apple Maps was weird too, took me to the back of the restaurant instead of the front. Would come again. And I know why people come here; good food, good people.

Yelp
Nick's deli. Famous for their breakfast burritos. Multiple handles rate them on top of the list. It was very good. Not my favorite honestly. I think a little too much potatoes and I wish it was crispy. But overall a very excellent burrito. Filled with chorizo and bacon. With the salsa really good. But the price. I think super reasonable. The service. Exceptional. For these reasons. It is one of my fav spots to get a solid breakfast burrito
google avatar

Yelp
The meatballs lacked some flavor. I like my bread toasty, but it was too soft for my liking. However, it still a good sub. The SUB was also a good choice just a little too much vinaigrette. Still a good sandwich. really friendly staff decent prices.

Yelp
I've been a breakfast burrito fan for as long as I can remember and my first trip to Nick's .... did NOT disappoint! The ratio of ingredients were spot on and it wasn't filled with potatoes, like some are for fillers. In fact, I only saw one or two cubes in the entire burrito. The cost is comperable to every other breakfast burrito these days..... approximately $10. The burrito was folded very neatly and packed well so that the flavors melded and you didn't lose any like when you do when they aren't "packed". The tortilla was fresh and warm. It was wrapped in two papers for added protection and to hold the warmth in. I called in my order. The service was beyond attentive and only asked necessary questions and repeated my order back to me. "Breakfast Burrito for Julie. Ready in 10 min" All the call in orders were on the counter neatly in a row (in bags) and after 3 people asked me if I needed help, the guy at the register grabbed my bag and made my transaction. EVERYONE was overly friendly and everyone knew their specific job. Doubt if Nick was there himself, but he definitely trained everyone on how to be efficient! Way to go. My kind of place! It's hard to find a good breakfast burrito these days that meets all my criteria. I'll definitely be back as this is on my route for many places.... Thanks Nick's.

Yelp
Best burritos. I'm here every Sunday. Get the machaca burrito and an extra hot regular breakfast burrito

Yelp
Yelp did us a solid today! Absolutely delicious. The owner greeted us warmly and walked us through the Meats and sandwiches. I ordered a turkey, ham bacon fully dressed on sourdough and a pastrami. Superb in taste and preparation and sooo fresh. Hats off. A wonderful deli experience.

Yelp
Stopped by Nick's Deli II while on call in the area. From the outside, it's an unassuming little spot that looks small, but once you walk deeper inside, it opens up into a large indoor seating area and a beautiful outdoor patio shared between the neighboring shops. They have a streamlined system: you order at the counter, get a number ticket, find a table, and they'll bring the food out to you. When you're done, you just take your ticket back to the counter to pay. *Avocado Bacon Omelet: This was delicious and had plenty of bacon. I would've liked more avocado to go with each bite, but that's just personal preference. It came with a side of potatoes, salsa on the side, and four slices of sourdough toast with salted butter, and a really nice-tasting strawberry jam. Everything tasted fresh and hit the spot for a casual and quick brunch. We didn't wait long for our food, although I could see this place getting busy. Parking was easy and we found a spot right out front. Service was friendly and I like how it's family owned. The owner was the one taking orders, and he even brought us an extra plate for sharing without us needing to ask. I think it's worth stopping by if you have the time to sit and wait, otherwise heed the other reviews and order ahead online!

Yelp
Whoa! It was my first time trying this place and I'm mad that I have not known about this hidden gem all these years. The summer season always puts me in a sandwich mood and I might have found my new favorite spot for a Ruben. Service from the staff was great even though they were quite busy. Super clean establishment with a few tables for people to dine in. I'll be back more often no doubt.

Yelp
This was my first time here and I couldn't decide what to get. The gentleman taking my order was very helpful and knowledgeable and recommended Martin's special sandwich. It sure was delicious! I got my order to go, however there are a few spaces inside if you want to dine in. Although I will say it does get pretty packed in there, so you may or may not find a seat. Overall, the service is pretty fast though. Will be back to try the other items on their menu!

Yelp
Looking for a quick bite and breakfast preferred, although it was pushing 11am, I stumbled upon this spot down the street from where I was at. The place is small, walk-up to order, has a handful of tables inside and best of all...the staff was hustling to fill orders quickly. I placed my order and waited about 5 minutes for it to be ready. Less than $10 for a sizable breakfast burrito which provided me with 2 meals was definitely a solid bang-for-your-buck! Great service!! Very fast for how busy they were. To be noted, they have a nice menu variety which is posted on the wall, visible as soon as you enter the store. The only downside was my burrito (the American) was flavorless, but luckily the salsa saved it. Overall good experience. I will plan another visit to try a deli sandwich which looks to be more of what they are known for.

Yelp
Nick's Deli is a well-loved local's spot for take-out breakfast burritos. It's family owned and I definitely saw Nick manning the phones for the constant barrage of phone orders. They do have deli sandwiches (pastrami, roast beef, turkey, etc), but Nick's is known by locals for the breakfast burritos. The majority of locals know to do phone orders. When I came on Saturday morning at 9:30 (which is probably peak business hour), the wait time bloomed from 35 minutes to 45 minutes. While we waited outside of the store for 40 minutes, we saw loads of people with phone orders go in and out. We did try to make the phone order prior to coming, but it was busy. I'd recommend that you just keep calling like you're trying to win tickets on the radio. Breakfast burritos are about $9. I got the regular breakfast burrito, which had potato, egg, chorizo, and red salsa. My wife got the machaca, which has shredded beef, onion, jalapeno, and eggs. Both were great and they are worth the cost. These days there are places selling breakfast burritos for $15-16, so I appreciate the value and quality that Nick's offers. Between the two burritos we ordered, I thought that the machaca was better. The onions, peppers, and juicy meat were pretty delicious and, though I like potatoes in my breakfast burrito, I didn't miss them in the machaca burrito. I do recommend the breakfast burritos at Nick's, but, on a weekend, I'd recommend to phone order or to come really early.

Yelp
2nd timer.... Showed up around 2 on a Saturday. It was busy as usual but staff was fast and friendly like always. Asked for recommendations and ended up getting the Albacore Tuna melt on sourdough SUPER GOOD! Also ordered the Famous Turkey breast seasoned like Pastrami also GOOD! We will be back... Oh wait the potato salad is good too, not filled with a bunch of random stuff just a goos ole potato salad!

Yelp
Heard about this place from a bunch of IG foodies, so I came to try their breakfast burrito. The place isn't very big so there isn't much seating available. You pay after you finish your food. The workers were friendly and provided great service. With such big hype from the internet I had pretty high expectations before coming here. The burrito was solid, but I don't think it's as good as the internet makes it out to be. Maybe it was an off day the day I came. Personally I like LJs in Cypress a lot better.

Yelp
I know I've written a review for this place, but it seems to have been taken off for whatever weird reason. I stop in here 1-2 times a year after my dentist appointment. The people working here are always very chatty and friendly. Service is pretty quick too. I usually call in my order and then take my food to go. Normally I get the tuna melt or a toasted turkey sandwich, but my gums were left a little more tender than usual this last time, so I opted for their chicken salad sandwich with the bread untoasted. It was a delicious sandwich. I'll have to come in the morning sometime to try their breakfast burrito. They look pretty amazing from what I can see in the pictures.

Yelp
tldr: Get the Pastrami on a roll if you're expecting something to look like The Hat, maybe toast the roll, as well. The pastrami seems a little thicker than The Hat's, but I still love it. I like to come here when I'm in the area, which isn't too often. If I remember correctly, I first had the breakfast burrito, then branched out to other things. Last time I was here, I had a hot pastrami. Now I'll be honest, here, my knowledge of a Pastrami is pretty much, The Hat. That's where I first had it, and I'll aways compare every pastrami I've had, to it. Mind you, I haven't been to a Hat location in close to 10 years. I'm overdue, yes. When I first ordered the pastrami, I was disappointed. It wasn't at all what I expected, and again, I'll mention the Hat. They put it on a roll. However, apparently the "Traditional" way, is on Rye bread. So, this lessened my disappointment quite a bit, because I kinda felt like, "oh that's on me". Honestly, it was ok on rye, but at some point, I wanted to come back and try it on a roll. I came back, tried it on their roll. Now, their roll isn't the same as The Hat's, I'm sure there's a word or type for the differences, but I wouldn't know. Did I like it better than on Rye? Yes. Was it like the Hat? I think The Hat slices their meat a little thinner, and the roll they use is different, as well. Is the pastrami good? Absolutely. Should you try their pastrami? Yes, you should. Will you see the same thing as The Hat if you order a Hot Pastrami from Nick's Deli II? No, you won't. It'll be on Rye. Will it taste the same as The Hat if you order it on a roll? No, the bread is different (fluffier vs crustier at The Hat), the slices are slightly thicker. Do I like both The Hat and Nick's Deli? Absolutely. If Nick's Deli is 5 miles away, the Hat is 30 miles away, and I have a huge craving for Pastrami, I'd go to Nick's and be just as satisfied. The staff at Nick's is enjoyable, so that's always a great plus, to me. At some point, I'll go back. Maybe I'll try it again and see about toasting the roll a bit. I kinda think this would improve it. But I also want to try one of their lunch burritos as well, Carne Asada, specifically or pork.

Yelp
Another trip and once again nothing but excellent! California Club with the generous portion of crispy bacon with tons of turkey, and perfect fresh bread. I think this is the first time I realized there is no cheese and it doesn't even matter! Never disappointed, great service and great price. "Yelp" menu price is off but still worth with the added charge.

Yelp
Omg! The best breakfast burrito I ever had! Doesn't even compare to others.. hands down! My friend, Mark introduced this place to me and girl. He told me that he has been coming in this breakfast joint since high school and never stopped. This is the guy that loves food so why not try this awesome meal. The ambiance is great! Deli store vibe with a line as long as the DMV.. yea gotta order it by phone in advance :) We all ordered their famous Chorizo Breakfast Burrito.. damn that was out of these world amazing. That meat was grinded to perfection and mixed it up with seasoned scrambled eggs. The tortilla is crispy into perfection. And with that salsa.. it's just a cheat code. The most OP breakfast burrito ever :) Overall, heck yea I'm coming back here again.. I will bring the whole village with me :)

Yelp
Went here on a Friday at 11am with some coworkers. Everyone got a breakfast burrito and chocolate chip cookies. They were inhaled!! I got the tuna melt which was delicious. I liked the pickles in it and the toast was perfectly toasted.
google avatar

Jackson S.

Yelp
I was nearby and familiar with Nick's in Seal Beach so I figured it was time for a breakfast burrito. Service was great! The place was busy, but that's a great thing in my mind. Burrito was as tasty as expected. I'll definitely return next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
Eat here. Eat here. Eat here. This place is top notch! My buddy and I had the opportunity to meet Nick, the owner, and what an amazing human he is. You can tell this man was proud of his restaurant, he told us about his ingredients, fresh veggies, fresh bread and of course only real bacon for his sandwiches! To say the food was good was an understatement! Go here, buy anything, you will not be disappointed at all!
google avatar

Clayton M.

Yelp
Good breakfast burrito! Lots of flavor. Good mix of ingredients. Potatoes are cubed and mixed in. A lot of the cheese in mine fell to the bottom but that's alright. Lots of chorizo flavor if that's your vibe (not usually my go-to). Didn't taste much of the bacon, but maybe they gave me just a chorizo instead? Not sure! It's not massive but it is definitely filling-- a good size I'd say. Not the best in the world but definitely a solid breakfast burrito! Called in my order-- good way to do it. They're ready for you always. Glad I came!

Yelp
I came on a Sunday morning and was told that my order would take up to 45 minutes. I think I waited about 25 minutes which wasn't too bad. The breakfast burrito was overall a solid choice, I wish it had more seasoning to it, but the egg, to cheese, to potato ratio is great. I wish it had more meat to it too. I like spiciness so I asked for extra chili on the side and they gave me these grilled jalapeños (I believe they are grilled), they are seasoned with a great seasoning and with lemon! They really elevated my meal. The salsa is great, especially if you don't like spicy, but it's well seasoned. Their parking lot was pretty busy, but there is plenty of street parking around too. Service was great and friendly as well. My friend and I saw in their outside back patio, which was very pleasant. And they have plenty of seating inside too.

Yelp
Breakfast burritos are the go to at this place. Baby daddy's fam loves getting a variety of then went we have an early outing. I asked for the machaca burrito this time. Good meat to other ingredient ratio and sazón on point. A little small portion size, but I'm a big girl with big appetite.
google avatar

Cecille C.

Yelp
We liked the burritos so much the last time we were here and so we wanted to try out something different from the menu. We got 2 burritos, one from the breakfast menu and one from nicks Mexican kitchen side. We ordered the Pollo Picado burrito and it did not disappoint. It had shredded white meat chicken, beans, and rice with pico de gallo which we got on the side. It was a burst of flavors and we loved it! We want to try the Asada burrito next! Again service was fast, phoned in our order and was ready when we got there. They have us plenty of salsa on the side too!
google avatar

Yelp
A classic spot for some good breakfast burritos! Came here with a friend, and we love the vibes here. The place was filled with people taking orders in person and through the phone. Kinda shows how much of a following this place has. The breakfast burritos were really good. Plus, they were under $10! Which is extremely rare to see, and I love it!

Yelp
Whew wee!!! If ya ask for jalapeños on your sandwich know that they're fresh and SPICY! Haha That's a ok with me, just wasn't expecting it. My hubby and I were farting some water from the Waterteria down the street when he mentioned we drove by Nicks II. I quickly said ok let's go after we grab water. We stopped in around 11:30 and the wait wasn't long at all. Maybe 8 minutes? We ordered two California Club sandwiches. His was on French roll slightly toasted but still soft. I ordered my California Club on wheat and added jalapeños and sprouts. Hubby LOVED his! No picture was taken, because he devoured it! I snapped a quick one of mine. Let me also include not only is it fresh and packed full of flavor, but the avocado was so fresh and delicious! I often worry how the avocado will taste at places, but oh yeh... SUPER GOOD! Loved mine!! While writing this review he bragged on how good it tasted. There's 4 or 5 or tables inside where you stay and grub, but we brought ours home. The place is totally clean and open. I could see how it might get jammed if super busy, but today it was just fine. We even bumped into a friend while we were waiting. He said he and his wife go pop in and grab sammiches at least once a week living down the street. lol Great food and wasn't hungry for the breakfast burrito this time, but next time we might be planning our water day earlier to grab one of those babies! Never visited this location. We usually go to Main St in Seal Beach, but knowing this location now I'm sure we will go more often! Nicks is always great! Big THANKS to their staff for a great lunch and friendly customer service.

Yelp
I like to think it's a good sign when there are people lined up or grouped outside of a restaurant. And that saying was true of Nick's Deli! The shop is located in a small area with other shops and the lot is on the small side. You might need to street park during peak times. I got lucky and found a spot inside. People were outside when we got there and the workers behind the counter were busy. It was a little confusing how to order, but the staff was helpful and friendly. The space is small in the front where you order, some tables to the left for seating and the front counter with full view of the cooks and other staff. Down the hall past the two restrooms (not gender neutral) is more seating in the back as well as some patio seating. Plenty of seating at the time I went. There were lots of phone orders sitting out while being called. It's amazing the staff does such a fantastic job keeping everything in order. You order first, if dining in, and find a seat anywhere. My bf and I grabbed some drinks and headed to the back for more seating. You can clearly hear them call out numbers, and they even go check in the back where we were seating which I appreciate. You take your stub after eating and pay at the counter. They find your ticket and then ring you up. We ordered two breakfast burritos, a coconut bar, and two drinks. The burritos were delicious, lots of egg and chorizo in every bite, with the occasional bacon pieces mixed in. Cheddar cheese with the pull and potatoes along with the hot sauce made for a hearty burrito. The coconut bar, man, was delicious and not what I was expecting. Think of almond joy but in a bar form with a shortbread base, a thick layer of chocolate chips that still had their form but were slightly melted when made making a distinct chocolate layer. And the chewy coconut top layer was a perfect combo. Definitely a must get. I want to come back for their sandwiches but you won't go wrong with their breakfast. Must try and revisit!!!

Yelp
Came on a weekday morning and was fortunate to wait less than 10 mins for my breakfast burrito to be made. Seems like lots of people place their orders ahead for pick up which I recommend in case there's ever a wait. One of the staff will take your order and once your food is ready, you pay at the register. For $10, the burrito is a decent size and packed w chorizo, potatoes, eggs and cheese. Tastes even better with their red salsa.

Yelp
Nick's breakfast burrito; spicy and toasted. Thank me later... If you call in an order and the line is busy, that's a good sign; everyone in the local area can't wait to enjoy the food. Staff is attentive and always helpful

Yelp
Came in at 8:30am on a Sunday. Ordered a breakfast burrito and that's it. Took around 35min to get my order. Once it was ready I got excited and decided to eat there. I was surprised by how not great the burrito was. Very dry and has very light flavor. I did not enjoy the burrito. The sauce is mild and taste wayyyy to strong like tomato. Almost like a pasta sauce with a little heat to it. Not a fan at all of the sauce. Pretty much waited 35min for a jack in the box burrito with pasta sauce mixed with pepper flakes. Would not be coming here ever again.

Yelp
Small shop in a corner shopping center serving up some good, homemade-like food like sandwiches, burritos, soups, salads, and burgers. A small group of men moving efficiently and with care. They've got a good variety of drinks including refillable fountain drinks and 2 large beverage refrigerators. They've got more seating in the back including patio tables. Great place to stop for a quick and delicious meal with plenty of variety. Gets warm inside during the summer. They've got some fans that help a bit with air circulation.

Yelp
Overall great experience. Small place. Limited seating. We were greeted right away. The guy behind the counter was awesome. Small business. Very popular for their breakfast burritos. Came here for lunch. I ordered a pickled egg and a pollo picado burrito. Pickled egg 10/10, yum. The burrito was an 8/10. I didn't care for the rice (under cooked) and I felt the chicken was on the dry side.

Yelp
Great FAMILY owned deli!! This is the place to go for breakfast burritos! They have a lot of other options too like sandwiches and tacos but they are most famous for their breakfast burritos. They have a variety to choose from like Machaca, American, Italian, and traditional Breakfast burrito. They are all delicious. You can tell the staff enjoy working there. We came for a late lunch and one of the employees was leaving for the day and he says, "bye see you tomorrow Dad". That just warmed my heart and made me want to support this family business even more. :)

Yelp
If you are craving a sandwich or breakfast burrito, this is the spot. Anything and everything you could want from a deli Nick's has. You order with the guy as soon as you walk through the door and pay at the register when your food is ready. It's definitely a favorite local spot so if it's busy, check the back (past the chips and drinks) for additional seating.

Yelp
Great food, great price and great staff. You can beat this anywhere. The place is always busy. If you know what you want best to call it in.

Yelp
Stopped by on a Sunday morning and there were folks waiting outside for their order - the wait was about a 25 min wait. It's a small hole in the wall located in a corner plaza. I ordered the Italiano breakfast burrito and it came with their salsa. The burrito is a solid quick breakfast so I'd definitely be returning.

Yelp
Outstanding breakfast burritos. Machaca is my choice. But all are great! Hot sauce made compliment.

Yelp
The wait is worth it! Was recommended this place for breakfast burritos and it did not disappoint. The salsa is the perfect level of spice for breakfast. The workers are always so kind.

Yelp
Used to come here all the time when I worked at my old job nearby, and glad to see they're still around and doing well! This spot gives you a throwback vibe to and small old school looking deli, where you get a little ticket with your order number and everything. The staff are all super friendly, and you can just tell with their energy the food is gonna be good. The price is also super reasonable, you can get a lotta sandwiches for around $10, and a little more for the bigger ones. Their staple for me has always been their breakfast burritos, these just hit the spot every single time. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

Yelp
Was in the area last weekend and craving breakfast burrito, searched up local places and Nick's Deli came up, we tried it and loved it, will definitely be back again. Service was fast especially with how busy they were on a Sunday morning.

Yelp
Still BBB, Best Breakfast Burrito, for me over 10 years running! Was back in town a few months ago, taste and service are still the same! Service is actually even more top notch as the guy helping me made special accommodations when he heard I'd be boarding a plane and taking my burritos in flight! YES, they're that good that I'd take a few all the way home with me from SoCal to NorCal! And their sauce is super yummy as always! You guys are doing it right, keep up the great work and don't ever change (like everything else in this crazy world)! #Delicious #comfortfood #nostalgia

Yelp
Just when you thought Nick's deli was about the breakfast burrito, which is amazing, they also have the best sandwiches that are so fresh and delicious, you have to try them them!! The staff is great & the cooks will make it your way! Go Nicks's!

Yelp
Solid food, great prices, and great service. I got the meatball sub and clam chowder. Meatball sub was good and tasted homemade. The meatballs tasted like a combination of beef and pork. Good amount of cheese used. The meatball to sub ratio could have been better. As for the clam chowder, it was delicious. Only improvement I would make is to add a bit more clam pieces. However the flavoring and consistency was on par. Overall, love this place and would revisit.
