My husband and I went here for breakfast. I have a dairy allergy, and this was my first experience at ANY diner where it felt like the staff did not care or take it seriously. We had to ask if each individual item had any dairy or was cooked in dairy, because the waitress wouldn't mention dairy in any of the items on her own, even after we both highlighted my allergy and asked if certain items had dairy. I can usually get eggs with hash browns, fries, or toast at a diner, but everything was cooked in butter here. After ordering, I also had to send an item back as the kitchen added cheese to my food, which I can't eat. My club was fine, but not worth the trouble.
The waitress got my husband's order wrong as it was supposed to come with pancakes instead of hash browns. After we pointed it out, she just took his plate without an apology, so he was left sitting there with no food. They could've just brought the pancakes out and let him eat the eggs, toast, and ham since he wasn't interested in the hash browns. Once he got his food the second time, my husband said his pancakes, eggs, and ham were bland. The pancakes were a bit burnt and rubbery on one side, and they didn't give him his toast.
We heard good things about this place, so our experience was a big disappointment. We won't be back.
