Nick's Pizza - Review - South Beach - Miami - The Infatuation

"You’re not going to Nick’s Pizza for their very impractical two-foot slices that have probably come across yourInstagramfeed. You’re going to this South Beach pizza spot to get a normal-sized drunk slice of pepperoni after vacuuming a second pitcher fromTed’s Hideawaydown the street. The place stays open until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays, and even their standard slices are still quite filling. At $10, it’s a very South Beach price for a slice of pizza, yet still one of your cheapest options in the area. Your drunk brain might make you think the chicken and waffles pizza is a good idea. Trust us, it’s not." - Mariana Trabanino

Google
Amazing pizza and great service in Miami Beach. We had an excellent experience at Nick’s Pizza. The attention was outstanding from the moment we arrived . friendly, fast, and very attentive. We ordered the Margherita pizza and Nick’s pizza, and both were absolutely delicious. The Margherita with fresh basil and cherry tomatoes had an incredible flavor, super fresh and perfectly balanced. Nick’s pizza came with a generous amount of pepperoni, perfectly baked, crispy, and full of flavor . honestly one of the best I’ve had in Miami Beach. If you’re looking for great pizza, quality ingredients, and excellent service, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
As an Italian on vacation in Miami it's not obvious to find a good sliced pizza, but this place really won me over. The idea of sliced pizza is practical and fast, perfect for a break between one walk and another. Fast service and kind staff, ideal for those who want to eat well without wasting too much time. Fair prices for Miami and generous portions. If you are Italian on vacation and you want a slice pizza, fast but made with criteria, this slice pizza is absolutely recommended. A pleasant surprise in Miami! 🍕🇮🇹

Google
The staff was amazing and the place is really cute, so I truly wanted to love this spot. Unfortunately, the pizza was a huge disappointment. We ordered the white pizza, and it was extremely overcooked the cheese was dried out, the crust was hard, and the whole thing was tough to chew. It was super dry and had almost no flavor. We were honestly surprised because it smelled great in the store, but once we actually tried it, it was almost impossible to enjoy. For the price 34$ a pie and the presentation, I expected so much better. Really disappointing experience.

Google
What an awesome pizza spot! The guy at the front counter was fantastic—super friendly, helpful, and patient while we asked about the menu. We ordered the garlic knots (delicious!) and the massive “Size Matters” slice—a giant 2-foot piece of pepperoni pizza drizzled with hot honey. It came out fresh, hot, and absolutely incredible—the perfect combo of savory and sweet with a little kick. We’re so glad we stopped by Nick’s —definitely worth it if you’re craving great pizza and even better vibes! 🍕

Google
Absolutely delicious vegan pizza. Large portions. Decent price. They understand what vegan is and will use a clean pizza wheel to cut your pizza. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Google
It was perfect, ordered online with no trouble about 15 minutes later the pizza was ready and it is some of the best pizza I've ever had. It held together and had a nice crunch but did not crumble apart. With seasoning that were not overdone just enough to add some taste. Will absolutely go back!

Google
I’m from Brazil, and We have a lot a good pizza there, but in Nick’s pizza our was the best in our life’s about pizza. Crunch, Juicy and Amazing ! If you can, come to Nick’s and have the best pizza moment that you will have in your life.

Google
Great service - but absolutely terrible pizza. The cheese tasted cheap and overcooked and dry - the crust was way too thick. The only reason you would get a slice of Nick pizza is if you’re starving and have nothing else to eat …

Yelp
Great customer service awesome pizza. The atmosphere is very aesthetically pleasing.I come here very often every since i came the first time

Yelp
REAL VEGAN HERE: I was so surprised by all of the vegan options on the menu at this spot! We were nearby and found this place on Yelp but I had never heard of it before!!! Let me first say, we were drinking quite a bit before going here but that is really when I crave this type of food the most. I got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sub and it hit the spot. Toasty and spicy and delicious. I was SO happy the man who took our order came out to the table to see if I wanted pickles because I DID NOT (but pickles are always with Nashville hot I think???)... I still would have eaten it but I just find their flavor so overpowering. My husband got 3 slices of not vegan pizza and loved them. They were HUGE! It's nice that they have some beer and seltzers to keep the party going. I think they are open until 3am so it's nice to know we now have a late night spot with more vegan stuff to try! The service was so fast and polite!!! They had a really efficient system. The line was moving so fast and all the guests seemed happy. Can't wait to try a vegan pie!

Yelp
I was excited to try Nick's Pizza due to the recent hype they've gotten from social media influencers visiting this location recently. I was staying in South Beach for the weekend so it was the perfect time to go. They are easy to find and are south of 5th Street (quiet, part) in South Beach, Miami Beach, Florida. As soon as I walked in, I was disappointed. No air conditioning in South Florida is not pleasant to say the least. It was so hot and uncomfortable. They don't have outdoor seating so your choices are to either sweat like a pig inside or take it to go. They also didn't have any ice for our drinks, which added to the disappointment. The pizza was good, but not worth the hype it's gotten recently. Yes, they have huge slices of pizza and the price isn't bad so there's that. Service was OK, pretty mediocre. Overall, I would not go back personally, but maybe things will improve in the near future.

Yelp
Really great pizza...never seen a pie or slices this big! Definitely a trendy tik tok/viral place.. I appreciated how much pepperoni and honey they had on it was incredible, two slices filled me up(did eat at Joes stone crab just before) It was around $10 a slice, for some reason pricing was up for everything but the pizza which was strange. Glad I tried it and worth it for the huge unique slices they offer.
google avatar

Drg B.

Yelp
Order two slices to go because I wanted to try this pizza place received a coupon in the mail, buy one get one, the slices are huge and that's amazing and thin, but they were overcooked and they were tasteless. There's no sauce because it was overcooked. So by the time I added my own spices and my own sauce, it was an edible slice.

Yelp
My family and I were in town for an afternoon Marlins game and needed lunch beforehand. I suggested Nick's Pizza because I'm a sucker for ricotta and the Pretty Fly For A White Pie slice is covered with dollops of it. I ordered a slice of that and a slice of chicken bacon ranch. We also got a slice of extra pepperoni, a slice of cheese, and an order of three garlic knots. I enjoyed the Pretty Fly For A White Pie slice, but it was a little dry without a white sauce on it, like garlic butter. The chicken bacon ranch had a good balance of ingredients. The cheese slice was pretty standard. My wife really liked her extra pepperoni slice. She also thought the garlic knots were awesome, but I was disturbed by the amount of garlic butter they were sitting in and thought I'd had better knots elsewhere. The specialty slices are pretty pricey. The menu says $8 each, but I thought the register rang them up at over $9 each.

Yelp
100% absolutely, yes! No doubt. We got in late and walked over. Shop was spinning out pies super late and they weren't lacking. Slices are enormous, two will do it! Prices were also very fair for the location. Don't miss snagging a slice!

Yelp
After a night out on Sourh Beach, nothing hit the spot for lunch like Nick's Pizza. We found this awesome pizza joint while searching for just a slice instead of having to buy a whole pie. The slices were HUGE and satisfied my pizza craving! Would certainly come back next time I'm in Florida!

Yelp
I've seen this place on IG all the time and luckily today I was close by and we decided to give it a shot. The lady who greeted us was very pleasant and polite. The prices are standard Miami Beach price's but when in Rome. We ordered a hot honey pizza and a plain cheese. The pizza was average (to be fair it wasn't fresh but nothing too special about it). However the garlic rolls were excellent and the frozen Margarita was also tasty. The ambiance was pleaser and welcoming. They did an excellent job with the marketing and presentation. Next time I'll go ahead and order a fresh pie to really experience the authentic taste. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Took a day trip to Miami and Nick's was one of the first places I wanted to stop after seeing all the posts on IG about it. Let me tell you....it did not disappoint. First and foremost its the perfect place to beat the heat. It was nice and cold when walking in (and a lot of places in Miami are absolutely not.) Its not a big place, but there is a decent amount of seating. Not to mention the two gentlemen running the kitchen and register were incredibly kind and working super hard. I don't know why, but I assumed based on the IG posts I saw that you can get a slice of any of their pizzas, and I dont think that's the case. I really wanted to try their white pie but they didnt have that one out. They had 4 different ones to choose from when I went, but you can customize them a bit. We ended up getting one cheese slice and one pepperoni slice with the ricotta and hot honey customizations. The crust is absolute perfection. Minimal flop, nice and crispy without being burnt and the dough has fantastic flavor. The pepperoni are the "cupped" kind and those were also nice and crispy and with the little pools of hot honey in there, it's making me about to turn around and get another! We also got a 3 piece order of garlic knots which come drenched in garlic butter. Soft, pillowy and buttery...what more can you ask for? All in all, two cans of soda, 2 slices and 3 garlic knots came to about $32, which I think is incredibly reasonable. The slices are huge and the quality is A+. I hate Miami traffic and parking, but I will absolutely brave it again to come back to Nick's.

Ernesto V.

Yelp
Sorry but another over hyped place as I tried the big pepperoni slice and it was greasy, salty and honestly tasted like frozen pizza. By the way the big slice is not cheap at $30 and that's without the sauces.

Yelp
My friend and I went on a Friday night and it looked busy at first, but the line went really fast. You could see the staff was working very hard. My friend wanted the vegan buffalo chicken wings, but they ran out and the cashier was nice enough to give us one slice of pizza for free because we didn't order what we wanted. Everything was delicious from the pepperoni pizza to my friend's caprese pizza. The caesar salad was good too for a fast bite. The only thing negative with the food was the mozzarella sticks. Half of them didn't have cheese. We thought the cheese exploded out when they were cooking.
google avatar

Tiara G.

Yelp
They get a star because the crust is good and it's a real NY style slice. However that is not enough to ever make me want to order it again. I see all these photos of this cheesy, melty slice. Order a whole pie, to ensure it's made fresh. Pizza came cold, the cheese was so sparse that it's basically burnt. Thoroughly disappointed and wasted $30 on a whole pie because my husband won't eat it with burnt cheese
google avatar

Yelp
Best pizza I've ever had. They have foreign sodas, great service, cool lil desserts and crispy hot pizza. Way better than anything I had in New York. A bit smaller slices than MegaPizza a few streets away, but higher quality pizza here. Try their piped ricotta, hot honey and pepperoni pizza. BOMB.com

Yelp
I like big slices and I cannot lie. Ok, Nick's Pizza is famous for their 2ft slices (that we only realized after ordering our pizza for takeout). We were beaching it up by Nikki's Beach and had a sudden hanger attack/pizza craving. Would our group of 5 great friends a) keep enjoying the beach and pretend we're not hungry, b) eat sand and drink salt water, c) argue about who's dog is cuter, d) get pizza at Nick's. We of course chose the better portion, except we almost didn't. Our hanger fogged our vision, we frantically ordered two huge large (I think that was the size) pizzas and $70 later, a walk to the pizzeria and a walk back, here we were. Devouring our pizza like seagulls with our sandy fingers and salty hands. Disclaimer: this is the prettiest white pizza I've ever seen. The pretty fly for a white pie is for sure a clever and catchy name and I won't forget her. Would the pizzas have been better eaten like a normal human being at the pizzeria? Yes. Did we need to order abusively and like maniacs and spend way too much on takeout pizza boxes? No. Do I regret not actually going in and eating our 2ft slices, yes and yes. Overall, delish pizza for the beach I would just not order two large pizzas because we had leftover for sure. Best experience will for sure be in house where you can also keep the pizza warm and not have to dodge the seagulls.

Yelp
Absolutely love Nick's Pizza in South Beach! Hands down our favorite pizza spot in South Florida. We tried the giant pepperoni pizza with hot honey and it was amazing -- the perfect mix of crispy, cheesy, sweet, and spicy. Great vibes and friendly service too. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Maddy B.

Yelp
We ended up trying this place after a beach day! We each got a big slice one of pep and one of cheese adding the ricotta and hot honey. The guy working the register was super nice and helpful. I was so full after one slice I couldn't imagine eating the 2ft one! The pizza was delicious and the honey definitely hot but flavorful. We loved the dough. They also had other menu items, desserts, and drinks. The only thing I'll say took away from the experience was the tables were all dirty and the dining area was messy in general, but I also understand that they are super busy and there's only two guys working.

Benjamin A.

Yelp
I ordered an Italian hoagie and this is what they brought me. Shameful way to do business!
google avatar

Kenny P.

Yelp
Let's find a better place to store the pizza boxes. And stop over doing it with the pepperoni.
google avatar

Monique T.

Yelp
Found this spot on IG, we had to try their GIANT pizza slice.! It's a small mom/pop shop with a good size menu. But we came for the pizza slice. Staff was welcoming & friendly. Not a lot of moving around space tho. Bathrooms could use a little more attending to. Otherwise, easy to find, great pizza! We had the 1 BIG slice of pepperoni, was enough for 3 grown men and my self. Next time we are visiting we will be back!

Yelp
Nick's Pizza South Beach @nickspizzasouthbeach Miami Beach, FL Buy me a slice and tell me I'm pretty! Nick's is open til 3am on the weekends with the cure for your munchies! Chill ambiance, excellent service. The Rosé slush was hittin. The slices they have are bigger than your average and so fulfilling! @nailsbykooly enjoyed her Pretty Fly for a White Pie slice. The New England Lobster Roll was fresh and delicious. We also got the garlic knots, BBQ wings, and the Vegan Nashville Hot Hoagie. So in love with the options. But it was all about the Size Matters slice! A 2 foot long pizza slice! Absolutely epic! Mind blown and stomach full! Have you ever had a pizza slice this big? #nickspizza #southbeach #latenight #sizematters #pizza #epic #lobsterroll #big #veganoptions #instagramable #instagood #letsdrinkz #eatzwithsweetz #letseatz

Yelp
The best pizza in Miami. The guys are amazing and they always take care of you. If you're looking for a chill spot with the best pizza. This is for you.

Yelp
We stopped by for lunch after hanging out in the beach. I didn't check Yelp prior but was surprised to see so many low ratings. We ordered 2 slices one veggie and one cheese lid drinks and the total was around $20 which is pretty standard for SoBe. The staff was pretty welcoming and nice. They heated up our slices and told us they would bring our pizza out to us. It didn't take too long and the slice was massive! I don't think it was the best pizza I ever had but certainly not the worst. I'm no pizza connoisseur, but I'd stop again for a slice if I was nearby. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. They had good music playing and a movie playing on tv.

Arby S.

Yelp
Picked up a family size half cheese half with pepperoni sausage and bacon. Nice golden brown crust. Hot and fresh. Delicious.
google avatar

Joe P.

Yelp
I had a slice of the pepperoni and it was delicious. Perhaps the best slice of pepperoni pizza I've ever eaten. The pizzas are Brooklyn style and the slices are greasy and large and full of pepperoni just the way I like it. The sauce to cheese ratio was on point too. I found the service to be excellent. Ambiance is reminiscent of a NYC pizzeria. The server was quite helpful as well. Not only did she go the extra mile to make a solid recommendation, she also offered to take pictures of the pizza from behind the counter for me.

George W.

Yelp
You got to be kidding ! Ordered a plain 18" pie, $30 dollars what a joke! Pizza was also not that good ! First time and Last time and I live one block away. Threw most of it out!
google avatar

Geena I.

Yelp
Nick's Pizza offers a solid experience for those who appreciate generous portions. While the flavor of the pizza might not be extraordinary, the size of the slices is impressive and ensures you get good value for your money. It's a great spot if you're looking for a filling meal and you have low expectations. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming and conveniently located right off the beach. If you prioritize portion size and size matters, you MIGHT like nicks.
google avatar

Shoshi R.

Yelp
This review is for the hot honey... Let me start by saying one of the best pizza dough I've had! Perfect crisp and not too thick. But it was way too much hot honey on the pizza and I could tell it wasn't Mike's hot honey. I couldn't enjoy the pizza since it was drenched in the hot honey. The price was well, it's Miami Beach! Joe's in wynwood is still my favorite at the moment. I'll give Nick's another try and have a different slice next time
google avatar

Sean G.

Yelp
I ordered an Amalfi Club sandwich through DoorDash and I threw it in the garbage. The bread was scorched, there was no mayo, tomato, dressing or oregano like advertised. There was one slice of turkey when the advertisement shows a layered sandwich and it smelled like a toilet. The employees obviously don't care and no one is keeping them accountable.
google avatar

Yeshaya D.

Yelp
I'm a usual customer here until today. I went there. I was ordering a pizza and a drink over $15 worth I asked for the side of Honey hot sauce which they gave me last time part of the meal there's time the lady tried to charge me extra, so I refuse to pay it and canceled my meal and I will never be going there again and she was also very rude and took her five minutes to even help me when she was doing nothing.
google avatar

Farah S.

Yelp
Came for the huge slice experience, ended us with much more lol. The pizza is yummy, service is great with a chill atmosphere.
google avatar

Yelp
I had the pepperoni pizza the dough was tooooooo hard..I think the cheese and pepperoni made it taste ok..I don't like my pizza that hard.
google avatar

Yelp
Their pizza was super good! They have my favorite pizza which is also "Nick's fave" on their menu - pepperoni with hot honey and ricotta cheese. Place was nice and easy to find. Would come back again!
google avatar

Betsy E.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the pizza! Service was good. Nothing really special about the place. It is really small with a few tables so not much to look at, but definitely a fun experience getting the 2 foot slice! Three of us ate on it and had some to take home.

Connie F.

Yelp
Delicious!! We got the chef special, one white pizza and two pepperoni slices. We went back to try the garlic knots and they were amazing as well. We are from Chicago so we have good pizza all the time. We will definitely be back!!
google avatar

Vitaly G.

Yelp
Stopped in with the kids to grab a few slices for lunch. Everyone was super friendly, great service and pizza slices were ready within a few minutes. Good tasting slices and ice cold soda, can't ask for anything more after an afternoon on the beach. Nice music and comfortable tables. We are from Miami so will visit again when in the area
google avatar

Yelp
My teenage son came in last night with some guys from his basketball team. They said the pizza was delicious, the service was excellent and the vibe was spot on. They forgot to tip, but they will tip double next time and they will eat at Nick's frequently.

Yelp
Come with me to Nick's Pizza located in South Beach. They have a menu option for everyone, from pizzas, subs, salads, and slushies. On this visit, I tried their Garlic Rolls, Lobster Rolls, and Froze, and the main event was their Pizza. The food was excellent across the board. The Garlic Rolls were soft and fluffy, the garlic butter was smooth, and the garlic flavor was well-balanced. The Lobster Roll was incredible, and the bun was buttery soft, the cold water lobster was fresh and tender, and the house dressing brought it all together very nicely. The Froze was refreshing, but light on the alcohol. The pizza was really good, the pie not only looked incredible, but the flavor profile was great. The pizza is made up of Mozzarella, Pepperoni, Sausage, Bacon, Fresh Jalapeño, and Shallots topped with pecorino, and drizzle with Hot Honey. The combination of the savory, spicy, and sweet was delicious. The food was excellent and their service is up to the same standards. The manager Flavio was extremely attentive and so kind, Andrea who also assisted us was friendly and attentive. The location is charming and has great neon signs "Buy me a slice and tell me I'm pretty" was my favorite. I will visit Nick's Pizza again to try Nick's Fav Pizza and their lobster roll.

Yelp
If you like pizza, this is a must! The staff is always friendly. The pizza is delicious. They have a 2 foot pizza which I'm dying to try when I have a bigger appetite than I usually do. The garlic knots are probably the best I have had in a long time. They are soft, garlicky and nice a buttery. Not that oily spongy type you usually come across. It's a must get as well. I also have tried the lobster roll, I'm not going to say it's the best because it isn't that bad at all but I rather stick to what they specialize in. If you want a good lobster roll just head down the street to joes stone crab. Overall I love this pizza joint! It's definitely #fitfatkid approved

Yelp
Been here a couple times and I feel like the pizza taste gets better and better!! Nicks is a must if you're in the area!

Yelp
Nicks Pizza is a little slice (pun intended) of NY right here in South Beach! The food and service were phenomenal and Falvio was amazing! It's like a NY slice shop, so there is seating and it's a decent sized space, but it's not huge. The food came out fast and bursting with flavor. Definitely would hit this place up again ASAP!
google avatar

Celi H.

Yelp
My review is looooooong overdue!!! I visited Nicks Pizza South Beach a little over a month ago and was extremely satisfied! Well I have NEVER in my life experienced a slice of pizza BIGGER than life! Nicks Pizza South Beach is where it's at!! love that the ambiance provides picture opportunities! What I had: 2 Foot Slice Pepperoni Pizza (Seriously!) I had mine with hot honey drizzled over it and it was pretty good! New England Lobster Roll - this was so delicious and flavorful Buffalo Wings - these were good! Garlic Knots - these were probably one of the best I've ever had Frose (Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic options available) - this was such a refreshing drink to have at the end of it all Shoutout to Roylando, Mario and Tony for taking such good care of me!!

Nicolas T.

Yelp
i'd have to give this place a 6.8/10. The pizza was delicious and the garlic knots were amazing, but the mozzarella sticks lacked flavor. They play good music, you can buy beer and it was fairly empty for a saturday afternoon, but the hassle of finding parking and paying $20-$30 for parking when you can't find street parking makes it not worth coming back unless you're in the area already
google avatar

Marilyn O.

Yelp
Flavio was amazing. Worked quickly and was super friendly. Everything on the menu was fantastic! Don't forget to get their 2 foot pizza slice!!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice service pizza was good and so delicious wow I recommend to everyone have to try this pizza

Yelp
As a pizza lover Nicks Pizza was on my list for a while and it was worth the wait. When I stopped in it was a little busy but service was fast, I got some wings, garlic knots & of course the biggest pizza slice I've ever seen. Everything was absolutely delicious, service was incredible and their staff was very knowledgeable about their menu. I enjoyed my meal in a nice chill atmosphere with amazing music. Add them to your things to do when you're in Miami

Yelp
This is by far the best vegan pizza I've ever had. The cheese melts amazing and the pepperoni was delicious. I had to ask them to confirm again that it was vegan bc it was so delicious! Ambience is real cute and nice for a pizza joint as well! Will be returning everytime I'm in south beach!!! 10/10 highly recommend
