Ambience A +++++ Staff is really nice. I took my wife out for her Birthday which is on the 31st. Staff is always so accommodating. We had a reservation and not only was able to get in earlier, but also accommodated by changing seats to a booth by the window. The food is excellent, waiter was very informative and attentive. Plates were cleared from table promptly as you finished dinner. It is a little pricey for most, but I think we'll worth the price - and if you don't want dinner, I recommend you order the delicious crab sandwich to go. After dinner there is a bar/lounge with seating at bar and tables in lounge area. There is usually a live band and you can literally watch the waves in the ocean while listening to music. And did I mention they check your coat! Absolutely lovely place you HAVE to visit if ever in Bay Area.

We ate here for dinner and the view was spectacular. The food is equally good but quite pricey. The crab sandwich is excellent and good for sharing. The clam chowder’s good with a generous amount of clams in it. The fettuccine alfredo was average but also good for sharing. There’s a formal dining area, a bar area, and a dancing floor (with live band I assume because of the setup) area with chairs and tables. We were seated here because of the beach view.

We had a really good lunch today at Nick's. They gave us a really nice window table with views of the ocean. Our server Christina was very good. Started with a Bloody Mary that was really tasty. We had a Crab Louie with a side of biscuits, which they don't always have available. Also had the grilled Crab Sandwich with tomatoes and a side of fries. Both the Crab Louie and Crab Sandwich were absolutely delicious! They gave my wife a complementary dessert for her birthday!

After a cold morning of fishing I was ready for something that warms the body from the inside out...and a big bowl of steaming hot soup was the ticket! But...Not just any soup, it had to be Clam Chowder, and not just any Clam Chowder ..It had to be Clam Chowder from The world famous Nick's Rockaway! Man-O-Man was I ready for it! Outside of a little hole in the wall way up north in Noyo Harbor, Nick's Rockaway has the best Clam Chowder in the state! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ Oh...Don't forget to snag a quart of that Clam Chowder for the next day, you'll be sorry if you don't.

We had lunch at this great restaurant and enjoyed the spectacular view of Pacific Ocean while dining sea foods. The meal size was generous, was cooked deliciously and served with respect. They have plenty of parking on their property and they are also supporter of veterans.

Our server was very kind to me. I already had an impossible burger and didn’t want another one, and ended up ordering potato skins with no sour cream, bacon etc., the green salad with basil vinaigrette, and a cup of minestrone soup. I was satisfied with the service, everyone was friendly and helpful. We came to the seafood because we had guests/family visiting, the big windows have ocean views! Thank you very much!

Let me just say from the moment you walk in the entire room is just an awesome vibe.It's almost like traveling back in time. Then, you look at these beautiful windows with the ocean right in front of you, and there is just an ambiance that I cannot be able to describe. As soon as you take all that in, you are immediately greeted by the friendliest staff, you could hope for and even though you may have to wait for a table.They don't let you be uncomfortable yhey serve you, drinks and appetizers in the meantime. There's never a moment that you are just sitting uncomfortably starving.They just really have their business down. Next, you get seated and the waiters and waitresses are so attentive.The busers are right on the spot.... And the food is absolutely mouthwatering!!! I love a restaurant that leaves a lasting impression.This was my first visit here, and it most definitely will not be my last!!! ❤️❤️❤️ as a side note, I had a hamburger on their sourdough it is phenomenal!!

I visited here on Saturday 30th Aug…I flew from Grand Cayman - Miami - SFO and landed that morning…I was in the area to see my favourite band play at the Shoreline Amphitheatre later that day…I chose the restaurant because I wanted a place overlooking the Pacific Ocean and had good reviews as I had a few hours to kill before the gig…checked on google maps…and I’m so happy I chose this place! Really friendly staff, think my server’s name was Jessica, and the other girl who got my cocktail was lovely too! Waited around 45 mins for the table (which was absolutely fine, they were very busy), I went for a walk along the ocean whilst waiting…I had quite a lot to eat because not eating for the rest of the day due to the gig, flying etc! I had the ‘some like it hot’ cocktail, mocha, three cups of coffee (jet lag), the crab with sourdough and lamb shops with the shrimp and mash…loved it all!!! Had a great table by the window. Took a postcard and napkin as souvenirs. Chilled and charged my phone after my meal, they were so busy but they never made me feel rushed etc. Will definitely be back when we’re next in the area! Beautiful location!

14 of us came here for dinner and dancing on a Friday night. We had a reservation for 5:00pm. I wasn't so hungry so ordered a Cesar salad while my husband had raviolis entree in red sauce. The salad was a bit overdressed but the raviolis were hearty and excellent. We ended up dancing to live music at Nicks after. The singer had a great voice. A young waiter was busy filling all the patrons water glasses in the bar area. It was a packed Friday night. The tiled floors in the bar area were extremely sticky. It was difficult to dance on. My recommendation is that Nicks put in a nice wooden floor suitable for dancing.

came for a few beers - sat in the bar area. love the people here - great service. neighbors got crab cakes and loved them and the other side got muscles which smelled and looked delicious. our beers were cold and service with a smile!

Opened almost a century ago! Good service, good food, nice rustic atmosphere. We enjoyed their fish & chips, fried calamari, crab salad and ample desserts: New York Style cheese cake and "Mud Pie" (Wait till you see these pictures) Great food selections and a full bar. Huge plus is plenty of parking!

My husband and I love hiking at Rockaway beach, we have passed by Nicks so many times and this last time we finally came in! Everything we had was short of amazing! We had drinks at the bar. Yum. They had live music playing, the band was pretty good, the people super nice. Very nice older crowd. The food was AMAZING. Definitely coming here as often as we are in this area!! Check them out!!

Old school spot with an AMAZING waterfront view. Got the famous crab sandwich with onion rings and a side of clam chowder -- and I was very happy with my choice. The crab sandwich was huge, so I only ate half and saved the rest for lunch the next day. We also go the garlic bread, which was so buttery that when I took my first bite the butter oozed out and dripped down my chin! Generally, the food is greasier than I typically eat, but it's fine every once in a while (especially for the view!).

A great restaurant in a great location. I liked everything, the food was delicious. Special thanks for the service Angel provided us with excellent service, he was very kind, he is a true professional. We will definitely come back here. I honestly don't understand who can give less than five stars to this place.

Nick's Seafood Restaurant definitely delicious. A little pricey? Maybe. A little dated on the decor? Absolutely. Memorable? You betcha! Fabulous friends wanted me to experience Nick's and their delicious dungeness crab sandwiches to which they are famous for. Thankful Mike C coordinated a gathering here! We started out with breaded and fried calamari, the most delicious onion rings I have ever had, and their noteworthy clam chowder. When it came time for me to order my main, I got temporarily blinded by the whole dungeness crab entree. At about the same price as the sandwich, I couldn't resist. So glad I didn't. Even tho I could only finish half of it (remember we had appetizers!), thoroughly enjoyed the marinated dungeness crab... so much so that I snuck back about a month later to do a repeat of that whole and marinated dungeness ! Lovely Restaurant to enjoy seafood and an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean! Attached onto rooms for rent, and l a rge parking lot, one could really enjoy the filling seafood and a nap after while rubbing a contented belly!

Came a few times for lunch and dinner and small get togethers and we are always pleased. Food is good and drinks are tasty. We love coming back here especially to see the ocean waves out the window

It's been awhile since we've eaten here. We were party of ten with a reservation for dinner Friday night. Once everyone arrived we were seated in the dining room. We had two servers - Mike & Jim. They were very friendly and very attentive. A couple in our group frequents the restaurant and suggested the garlic bread for the table. So we had two orders. Hubby & I had cocktails earlier at the bar so we skipped drinks at the dinner table. For dinner: * hubby got the prime rib dinner plate - a very generous slice; medium rare. I had a couple bites. I thought it was needed to be aged more. And seasoned more. * I got the combo seafood platter. Very generous offering. Calamari, two types of fish, breaded shrimp, and fries. I took most of it home. There was no separate checks. It took awhile to calculate how much each couple owed. After dinner we shifted over to the lounge where there was a live band. Lots of dancing on a very roomy dance floor. We parked on the street even though they've got a big parking lot. And we caught a gorgeous sunset.

What a cool place! Very old school in a good way. The staff's super friendly and laid back. We came in to order crab sandwiches to go (steps away, you can sit and maybe see whales). The crab sandwich is experience. I was a little shocked by the price (2-sandwiches and 2-ice teas were about $90). However, when you combine the whole experience, I felt it was worth it. The sandwiches come with a side. This was the best crab sandwich I've had. To me, normally, crab sandwiches are a little too rich (and excessively oily). Not the case here. The crab was super fresh, lightly dressed and plenty of it. The addition of tomato was perfect. I think the cheese and/or avocado would have distracted - make it too rich. The sourdough bread's fantastic. If you're looking for a fun, tasty time, come to Nick's.

So after a very turbulent year in 2024...today I decided to take a drive out to the coast via Pacifica. My timing was off due to getting a late start in the afternoon and traffic was so-so...so I took a mini detour off the coast highway and I ended up in the parking lot of Nick's Seafood Restaurant. Initially I wasn't expecting to get an early start on dinner but what the heck I said to myself...so I parked my car and walked into the restaurant and was greeted kindly and politely, was seated in a half circle comfortable booth which faced the view of the Pacific Ocean! I was greeted by Tiffany my server for the evening and I had a great time with her professional service. I started off with ordering an Arnold Palmer (I am driving solo) then proceeded to order their Steamed Mussels in a garlic & wine broth and added their very buttery Garlic bread. I held onto the menu just incase I needed to order another dish. The presentation was very impressive...the Steamed Mussels are served in large steel bowl with a lid appears along with a large bowl for the mussel shells, a bowl with a wedge of lemon to sip the garlic & wine broth and then a basket of garlic bread. It was delicious to say the least!!! Tiffany asked if I wanted to order another entree so I chose their crab-cakes but before she cleared my table I asked Tiffany that I wanted to take home the remaining broth and added another Garlic Bread order to take home. Yes, it's that good! When the Crab-Cakes arrived they were very fresh about the size of two Silver Dollars accompanied on a bed of fresh greens, a lemon wedge and some delicious tartar sauce. The crab-cakes were fresh, moist and delicious especially when eaten with the fresh greens with a squeeze of lemon and a bit of tartar sauce... I had enough room for dessert so I ordered their lemon meringue tart and a cappuccino. Both were a delicious way to end my evening while I was writing my review of Nick's Seafood. So, if you want to get outta the City and don't want to deal with the "Out-of-Towner's" at Fishermen's Warf...head down the coast for a treat!!!!

This was close to the beach and the view is fantastic! We would have preferred a booth but we were given a small table and with our orders and drinks, and a baby that tries to reach out everything he can reach, it was a chaotic moment. It's a good place for a romantic meal, or a couple but depending on which table you are seated, it can end up being an exhausting experience lol. Food- yeah, food was great, tasty...serving was quite good. Our halibut and clam soup was definitely wonderful! Even the freshly brewed coffee seemed perfect! The servers were friendly and took our orders fast! Will definitely recommend this place! It's also $$$ of $$$$$.

Is Nick's seafood Dog Friendly? I see no signage? If it's there could you please share!

We have been here because of the view, but the food is also pretty good We've been here on a Sunday evening. We had to wait 40 minutes for a table for four. Next time, I will make a reservation. Usually when you wait this long, you would be disappointed nevertheless, but this restaurant is good The staff are very nice, and they tried to accommodate the baby by bringing painting paper and crayons, and the baby was happy. The crap sandwich was special, Hence the name: Nick's crab sandwich. They don't have a price for it in the menu, for us it costed $38. I am glad I ordered that. The combo platter and fish and chips was a bit boring if you ask me, nevertheless cooked beautifully. Overall, I definitely go there again, and will order a lot of crab sandwiches

A classic joint but quite obviously well past its prime. Quite a dark dining room despite having a wall of windows overlooking the Pacific (just beyond the big parking lot). Friendly enough service, from making a reservation on the phone to our greeting at the host station to our waitress. But table service was hit or miss. My friend was served a filthy water glass, which we noted. It was taken away without apology and then we had to ask twice for the replacement water. There was also a soda that was missing from our order almost until we were done eating. Their famous crab sandwich was decidedly mediocre. Whole lotta bread going on there. Overall just totally average, especially for the premium prices. But hey, the fried pickles were tasty!

The ambiance - I feel like with Nick's, you have to start by talking about the ambiance. We were seated in the lounge area, which has a whole other decor from the main dining room. The lounge has the old school/mid-century lounge vibe, with a view of the ocean. They didn't turn any lights on in the lounge, except for some red ambient lighting on the ceiling and a neon sign (again, Vegas). I think you may have to be in the mood for that. I was, so I personally loved it. I felt like I should have been laundering money with an office upstairs. And also eating lunch while making thinly veiled threats at my goons then wiping my mouth menacingly with a napkin. The service - We had great service. Staff were friendly and checked in with perfect frequency. They also boxed leftovers which is rare post pandemic. I don't usually mind doing it myself but I also forgot how nice it was just to have someone do it instead of handing me some boxes. The food - Crab sandwich. They don't hold back on crab but I think they used too much bread. I'd have preferred half the amount of bread they give you. It's an easy problem to solve. I went for the add-ons of avocado and cheese (cheddar; you can also pick Swiss, Monterey, Monterey Jack, or American). It came out to about $50. It's not the cheapest but it didn't surprise me and I could see half of the sandwich going for $25 elsewhere. Seasonal salad. Pretty good, I liked the ratio of all the ingredients. Not sure what else to say about salads, I don't normally eat them but I found this one pretty palatable. Fish and chips. Alaskan cod. The batter was super crispy on top but did get a little soggy from sitting on the plate with some oil under it. If I come back and I'm picking the fish up and resting it on something so it doesn't sit in oil or steam up against the plate. This dish hit the spot though. Clam chowder. This tasted fine, I think most Bay Area clam chowders are generally the same level. It's never bad but it's hard to standout. Total damage was ~$120. Would not go terribly out of our way but will definitely revisit for a no frills coastal lunch.

MUST GET THE GARLIC BREAD! Went on Sunday evening and there was no wait! Our service Jim was amazing! He was very attentive and personalible! The crab Louie with ranch had so many different toppings and had A LOT OF CRAB! Market price made the salad $55 but so worth it! Try to sit by a widow to watch the ocean while you eat

The view is extraordinary, dishes are specially fresh and taste. It offers in-hour cocktail as well, the pricing is affordable on this front. However, seafood-wise is not cheap but in-par with its quality. The entire experience is wonderful: 1) by ocean view; 2) good vibe of in-house decoration; 3) nice food; 4) good customer service. The restaurant is hot, be sure to book in advance.

This guy lace has it going on. Saturday night had some live music so that always amps up the FUN vibes. We had a long wait but we did not make any reservations. The staff did an amazing job updating us on when we were next. Having a large group we were totally understanding. The food was delicious. Prawns, Scallops, fresh sourdough garlic bread. This is a must if you are in Pacifica. You can see the beach and waves if you are seated in a few booths. When we return to Pacifica we will definitely be returning here.

Excellent crab sandwiches and great service. The view of the crashing waves sets the mood and the full bar helps relaxation arrive even faster. Be sure to make reservations. The place gets busy.

Came here on a Sunday evening for dinner. Happened to also be Easter. We did not have a reservation so we had to wait about 40 minutes to be seated (could have taken table top bar seating but did not want it). The restaurant walls and windows are surrounded by booths that are more casual than the inner floor space that is filled with tables and white table cloths. Place is quite loud with chatter so romantic it is not even though the table settings are on the nicer side dorned with extra forks, cloth napkins and reusable candle lights. We ordered seafood platter, whole crab sandwich, fish tacos and burger. All were served hot and with generous portions. There was real Crab served in buttery, toasted weidemeyer sourdough bread that was so yummy. Fish tacos were very tasty but the generous portion of sour cream sauce made the tortillas quite soggy so it could not really be eaten with our hands. Had it eat it salad style. The seafood platter had perfectly fried fish, shrimp and calamari with fries. Everything was delicious. Servers were attentive, cordial and timely. We never had to ask for anything; they provided good service. Do recommend and we will be back.

They told us a 30 min wait. 1 hour and 30 min later we are still waiting. Would not come back just based on wait... We just left...

Always a crowd pleaser! Make reservations and be prepared to wait a little bit. It's OK, it's such a great environment. Team members, food, drinks, music, and of course the sunsets. The calming sound of the beach you might even be able to see whales during this time of year. We celebrated my daughters birthday. We had all ages and everyone was happy with their food and service.

I love eating crabs and always in search of the best tasting crab dishes. So when I heard Nick's had a "Famous Crab sandwich". I just had to try it out. I ordered the Nick's Famous Grilled Crab Sandwich with avocado. The sandwich was delicious, and there was plenty of tasty crab meat blended with just the right amount of mayonnaise. The sourdough bread was toasted to perfection. The homemade fries are also cooked to perfection, not too crispy and not soggy or greasy. The New England clam chowder was tasty, but I wish it had more clams and fewer potatoes. The location is perfect, off hway 1 in Rockaway Beach. There is plenty of parking and a killer view of the Pacific Ocean. Every table in the restaurant had an ocean view. The service was prompt and courteous. If you're looking to spend a day on the coast and want to enjoy some great seafood, come on down to Nick's!

We ventured to Nick's Seashore Restaurant for The Hub's birthday. It's a classic joint with a lounge next door that provides live music and dancing on Friday and Saturday nights. As for the food, we sampled a variety of dishes, and was pleasantly surprised how large the portions were. Nick's famous grilled crab sandwich (5/5) - This was the star of the show! The sweet crab meat is delicately mixed with mayo and served in between 2 thick slices of perfectly grilled sourdough. We opted to add avocado for extra decadence. I'm drooling just thinking about the sandwich...I would go back just for this sandwich alone!!! Combination seafood platter (3/5) - The Hub's chose this dish, but way too much fried food for my liking. There's nothing wrong with the dish per se, but honestly, the vegetables were my favorite thing on the plate. The green beans and carrots were seasoned perfectly and still had a crunch. Lobster ravioli (4/5) - The brandied cream sauce was delicious, but it was very rich. Definitely recommend sharing this dish! Fettuccine alfredo - I didn't try this dish, but my kid finished the entire bowl! She doesn't like marinara sauce, which was the only pasta offering listed on the children's menu. I was happy that our server was happy to substitute a kids portion of alfredo. Lamp chops - I didn't try this dish either, but my kid was very happy with their meal. They ordered the appetizer portion and it came with four meaty lamb chops for only $24.95! What a bargain! Mudd Pie (5/5) - The server comped us this dessert since it was The Hub's actual birthday. What a treat it was! Coffee ice cream cake served atop a cookie crust and drizzled with hot fudge. Perfect way to end the meal! I highly recommend Nick's! The food is good and the service is great! Even though it was dark out, you could see the waves rolling in from the restaurant. It'd be nice to check this place out during the day since they also serve breakfast and lunch.

Nick's is a great place for a special occasion, dinner date, or just when you want a quality dinner. It has a one-of-a-kind view of the oceanside that you can't really get anywhere else. It does give off "old-school" vibes with their menu and decor. Service was attentive, friendly and personable. Fried Calamari - 5/5 - Plentiful, fresh, not too greasy. Great with lemon all over and the marina. Potato Skins - 5/5 - They give 4 halves of a potato with a boat of cheddar cheese, chives, and bacon along with a side of sour cream and ranch. Never seen potato skins this big, with my party cutting each piece into 2-3 slices to share. Enjoyed the cheesiness. Pepper Steak - 4/5 - Get this if you like pepper. This is literally steak covered in a layer of ground pepper. The meat was cooked just how I requested and served hot. I didn't care for the brandy sauce, as the pepper packed enough flavor. Broiled Teriyaki Skirt Steak - 4/5 - Super tender and had a pleasant teriyaki taste. Looks skinny but the plate was filling. Ordered with fried prawns (2 for $5 more). The grilled pineapple was a nice touch. Big Juicy Burger - 3/5 - Flavorful and filling. The name fits, although it felt too greasy for my liking. The bacon was on the chewy side and grilled onions added to the "slipperiness" of the burger. Opted for the sourdough bun and it was toasted a tad bit too much, scratching the top of my mouth. I'd definitely get a burger here again, but probably a simple one with a regular bun. Mudd Pie - 5/5 - AMAZING! This was the epitome of what mud pie should be. Doused with a fudge drizzle and had a nice cookie crust with substance and crunch.

I would say i was surprised at how good the food was. We came in a group of 12 (including three kids and two toddlers) and they were very accommodating. Gave the little ones crayons and an activity to write and color on. Kept them busy while waiting for food and while the parents ate. The service was great. Props to the servers/waitress that served us for being diligent. Kept coming back to ask if everything was good and if we needed anything else. Always always absolutely love this kind of service. We sat closest to the water and the sun was just about setting and it was breathtaking. So I looked up the most popular food items and it's their crab sandwich and it will not disappoint! I did not get to take photos of the food, unfortunately, but it was delicious! The clam chowder was pretty good too. I would also suggest ordering the blueberry cobbler. Yummy.

I have been wanting to come here and have dinner for a long time. I finally got here! The staff was great, I didn't have a reservation and came a little early, and they were kind enough to seat me anyway at the time I wanted. The bonus was I even got a window table! We ordered clam chowder, garlic bread, grilled crab sandwich and fries! I also ordered crab cakes which had more filler than I care for but they were okay. The clam chowder, garlic bread and grilled crab sandwich were absolutely amazing! I definitely will come back and try other things on the menu and I love being able to look out into the ocean!

Stayed at the nearby Fairfield Inn and wanted a light lunch. Literally walked a half block to Nick's. Put our name down with the very friendly host. We were seated about 5 mins later. We had a mixed green salad with plump bay shrimp, grilled fish tacos, and a cup of chowder. Saw lots of folks getting the " Famous Crab Sandwich" which btw looked awesome, as did the cheesy garlic bread. Salad was good, shrimp were fresh, chowder was tasty, but the fish tacos were a little soggy. The fish and filling was good, but the double corn tortillas were soggy and the tacos fell apart. Probably should grill the tortillas harder since the tacos were loaded with wet ingredients like pico de gallo... The view was great, service was great, food was decent.

It was another great night at this local favorite! I love the vibe here! It's a busy spot for dinner! The bar area was filled with people having a good time drinking, dancing, and laughing! The hosts are so welcoming! They sat us at the best seat in the house, we got to watch the sunset while drinking some beers! The food was in abundance and amazing as usual! My husband had the Broiled Teriyaki Skirt Steak grilled pineapple, baked potato, vegetables du jour, and Fried Prawns! This is his favorite and it's big portions, you can definitely have leftovers with this entree. I switched it up and tried the Red Wine Braised Short Ribs with braised carrots, a loaded baked potato, and fresh shaved horseradish. I added Fried Prawns too. The Short Ribs were delicious, could have been cooked a little longer to have that melt in your mouth effect! But was still really good and flavorful! Their tarter sauce is super good for the Fried Prawns! My dad had the Fish tacos, they were really big tacos full of fish! Served with beans and rice. Everything we ate was so delicious! Dinner did not disappoint! Come on a Friday or Saturday when the vibe is lively and the band is playing! Don't forget to bring your dancing shoes and comfy pants to indulge in all of the tasty food!

We were invited to join friends for a Thursday evening holiday get-together. We had early dinner and then enjoyed the band for dancing. We split fish & chips meal. The portion of fish & chips were two good size fish pieces. Fish was just okay and I forgot to ask for crispy fries so fries were not to my liking, but my fault since I forgot to ask for crispy fries! Service was good for a group of 20 of us. We then enjoyed an evening of dancing with live music and the the band took requests so that we could line dance and ballroom dance. Most of the 20 of us were on the dance floor with other guests so floor was a little crowded but still fun!

Came in for dinner in December at night. This place has a cozy small town feel, which was nice to feel transported coming from the city. I liked that it's not all modern which is nice and nostalgic. Really enjoyed the band that went on at night - the volume was perfect so we could still talk comfortably. The food was delicious, it was exactly what you'd expect and comfort food at it's finest. We had the fried prawns appetizer, fish tacos, and a cheeseburger. All was delicious. The burger was perfectly cooked, and I liked that they were generous with guac and sour cream on the tacos. The only thing that was just ok was the fries, I think the restaurant should try another recipe to make them tastier. My recommendation is to sit at the bar at night because you still get a full menu (unlike bar table which only does appetizers and drinks), and the ambiance and lighting was much more pleasant. The main dining room the lights were on far too bright to enjoy so although we had originally planned on a table we decided to just stay at the bar.

I was a bit surprised that the food here was marginal. We ordered the fried shrimp dinners, the shrimp was just OK. The baked potato was moderately warm, and the vegetables were served ice cold. Just shocked that he would spend that much money and the food would be marginal at best

Fair warning, this review is based on takeout experience only... We were craving some lobster rolls to take to the beach for a picnic. Surprisingly did not find that many good options for seafood in Pacifica, but found this place had some crab sandwiches. Called right around noon and ordered 2 of them and added avocado, and they apparently came with fries for free. The lady on the phone almost sounded like she had an attitude - probably in a rush, fine whatever. Food was at least ready for pickup right away by the time we pulled up 5-10 minutes later. Went up to the cashier to pay... $92 for two crab sandwiches with fries. That's crazy LOL Although it was listed as "market price" on their menu, it would've been nice to maybe let us know how much the total cost would be when we called in to order. Would've just picked somewhere else to order a quick lunch to go. Regardless, there was at least no wait for our order during a seemingly busy lunch hour on a weekend. The hosts were friendly upon arrival. The crab sandwiches were actually decent, aside from the bread being a bit too burnt on some edges. The fries were like those fat steak ones with no seasoning that no one ever really finishes. Definitely not a meal worth $45 :/

Nothing can be better than watching the sunset while enjoying dinner with your family. I've come here a few times now and the food is always consistently good. Parking is easy on the less busier days, but definitely the food is worth it. If.you like sweets, I'd highly recommend the mudd pie. It's a BIG piece. Plus the service was great. He could see i needed a drink or two with dinner since my toddler was being loud lol. Will absolutely be visiting again in the future.

For some reason, I chose to come to a nice restaurant like this on Mother's Day, so my reservation wasn't till late. I noticed that they do have live music and dancing on the weekends. There is a hotel right next to it and a little beach that you can walk, the whole thing while you wait for your food or your table. I ordered the famous crab sandwich, I heard a lot about this thing. The crab was fresh and the sandwich was very big. But I don't think I would order that again. My girlfriend got the sautéed shrimp with mashed potatoes and veggies, and it was delicious. I did have the sample. Looking around the restaurant like I do every place I go, I think the next time I'll get the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo or the prime rib they looked amazing. The staff was very nice and I was very satisfied with our service. I did not take any pictures and I'm mad at myself for that. I will definitely return

I really enjoyed this bar. Good crowd, live music, beautiful view out front and excellent lamb chops. The only thing it is missing is ocean view seating.

Really nice spot to stop by and have lunch! Parking lot is pretty good but it is shared with the inn next door. Nice view of the beach/ocean as well. Food was really delicious. I really liked the clam chowder and wished I got a bowl instead. It's a shame they don't have bread bowls though. Crab cakes didn't impress me so I would pass. Fish and chips were really good. Nice and crispy. Seafood pasta was good and really really creamy. The amount of seafood added in is nice. Service was great and the server was nice to give us another beer. There's a bar area for drinks. Highly recommend if you are in the area

Friday night and Nick's is jumping. Celebrations and live music. Drinks are strong and the crab sandwich fabulous. Order a half sandwich and it is more than enough. Plus then you have some room for dessert. Our waiter Jim has worked at Nick's forever. He is the best, funny and on top of everything. I swear he had everyone laughing.

What a gem!! This restaurant is nearly 100 years old and is incredibly fun. There are old time photos up, a classic jukebox box and a stage where they perform live music. The ocean views from both inside the dining area and the parking lot are out of this world. How can you beat the stellar views of ocean waves while enjoying delicious food and cocktails? We had great service and truly enjoyed our time at Nicks Seashore Restaurant after hiking around in Pacifica.

I went here even though I live nearby. I wanted to check it out as the ocean view is lovely and I had never been before. I ordered the fish and chips and they were excellent. The fish seemed very fresh and flaky, yet firm. The pieces of fish were huge and it's making me hungry again just writing it here. Service was nice. There was an hour wait so we went and put our names on the list, and when we came back in 45 minutes, they recognized me and sat us earlier than expected. Food came out quickly and water was refreshed often. The waitress was very nice. A person in my group ordered the hot turkey sandwich, which I helped them finish, and it was also very tasty. While the place is a bit pricey and the wait is long, sometimes it's fun pretending to be a tourist (this is why it's 4 star instead of 5). I'd go back here someday, ideally with people from out of town on a nice sunny day. Theres also a dispensary and a beautiful view right around the corner, which is how we spent the hour wait. Made the food even better. I also hear they have live music here sometimes, so I'll need to come back to check that out.

Had a quick bye after hiking part of Devil's Slide Trail. It is a true BLAST from the past. Open for 97 years and owned by the original family! Very cool. It was a quiet weekday and we were given the option of sitting in the dining room or lounge. We chose the lounge that had more ocean facing tables. The little chairs and the black leather booth gave off Man Men vibes- in a good way. Booths were fresh leather- no cracks or tears. They are keeping this place looking very nice! I got the fish tacos. HUGE serving size (two medium/large tacos) plus some rice. Hubby got the BLT and added Turkey. All very good. Wonderful scenery. Friendly staff!

I wish I had a magic wand. I love coming here. I always feel like I am with my extended family. The food here is awesome. Most of all the servers are phenomenal. My magic wand would be to give each server the service they give me and my family every time. I wish I could have all the personnel over where we could serve them. A meal of their choice. Anyway one of my highlights tonight was the pork chop. You have to have at least tried this in your life time. Best place to eat with family and friends. 10+

Amazing ocean views. Food was ok. I ordered a burger and it was overcooked and it seems unseasoned. I suggest not getting the deluxe as it doesn't seem worth it for the high price.

Excellent food. Beautiful location, fresh seafood right on the beach. Love the owners and staff too!
