Nicolas Auvray Gallery

I met Nicolas at an art fair last year and just recently had the chance to stop by his Chelsea location. The staff was welcoming and well-informed, and Nicolas made the effort to give me a personal tour. I will be visiting again to see the next show! Great after-work spot as well - they are open until at least 8pm.

Wonderful Chelsea gallery with an enthusiastic French owner! I purchased a piece from their current show, and it was packed and in my home within a week. The owner even came to deliver my painting personally to ensure it was hung properly! I would definitely buy from here again (if I had any extra walls), and I encourage anyone to visit Nicolas Auvray for a good chat and beautiful work.

The works on display are wonderful; the gallery owner explains the technique in great detail. It was refreshing to find an exhibition of fragments from Mexico in New York. It's like coming home. I highly recommend visiting the gallery

Alfredo Romero’s current exhibition at the Nicolas Auvray Gallery is a must see! Alfredo “skins” vintage commercial street art advertisements off the walls of old storefronts and restores the artwork while maintaining the historical significance of the art.
