I have tried this place in the past, and it seemed to be decent--I don't remember too much one way or another. However, tonight, I had an order of spaghetti and meatballs delivered via a third-party app, and I have to say it was probably the worst pasta dish I have ever attempted to eat in my life. I have had food from mediocre chain Italian places that tasted like a Michelin star experience by comparison.
First off, I thought they made their pasta in-house, but this tasted like Kroger brand spaghetti. On top of that, I absolutely hated the flavor of the sauce. Instead of their house-made marinara as described, I somehow got a mediocre Arrabbiata sauce--and I was NOT in the mood for spice. The worst part of this dish, however, was the dry and disgusting meatballs that had zero flavor and tasted like they were made out of very low-grade meat. The food was so gross that I started to feel sick to my stomach and couldn't eat it.
Thank goodness a piece of bread was included (the only redeeming aspect here), because otherwise, I would have waited an hour for delivery food that was supposed to take 10-15 minutes and still been ridiculously hungry. At least I got a couple of bites of plain bread out of the ordeal.
My guess is that this company started out doing things the right way and, like many businesses after opening a second location, decided to cut the quality of their ingredients and recipes to save on costs. So, I guess we can blame capitalism. Honestly, though? Skip this spot. If you can't find something authentic, you would have better luck at the Olive Garden (I cringe while typing this).
