Beautiful little Italian restaurant tucked in Naples. The service was fantastic, cocktails carefully crafted, and food was exquisite! Had a wonderful lunch, was a perfect way to end the year!

The downstairs bar dining area was moderately busy, but not too busy. Except my buddy and I were seated upstairs where a couple was dining. It was too quiet, small, dark, and felt like we were sitting in the attic. We had appetizers and a drink, then left to eat dinner nearby.

Such a great spot to visit on Naples Island. The food here is tasty & fantastic! Prices are low for the quality of food you are served here. Love the staff. The steaks & Bolognese pasta dishes are my favorite. You have to try the lamb lollipops & pork chop. The bar is lively and the drinks are delicious. Great selection of tequilas. My favorite is Azunia Black Añejo! See you here!

Out of this world. Food was excellent, staff very friendly and attentive. George, the owner, cares about his customers. Makes sure everything is five star experience.

Nice outdoor setup. The food was worth the price. The Surf N Turf was amazing. The filet mignon was seared enough to trap the juices and it paired well with the cabernet demi glace. The mashed potatoes felt silky with a right hint of garlic and veggies were delicious. The lobster tail with butter was excellent. Finished it with a crème brûlée and a cappuccino 😋👌

The only con to this place is parking! Street parking is available just make sure to read the signs. There's 4-5 parking spaces in a garage but can easily be missed. We enjoyed a lovely dinner here on a Monday evening. Cameron was our server and he was great. Started off with calamari and crispy spinach. I've never had crispy spinach before and I thought it was the best thing ever. Also had their gnocchi which according to Cameron, Nico's has served for over 20 years. It's filling and so flavorful with mushrooms topped with truffle oil. They serve different soups daily so for that evening, we tried the poblano soup. This soup, needs its own paragraph. The poblano soup at Nico's is so good, it's probably one of the best soups I've had. Shredded chicken, corn, cheese, and diced poblanos makes for a thick, hearty, and perfect soup. Not too spicy at all. It's filling and will leave you wanting for more. The chef takes his time roasting the poblanos and you can tell that this soup is a labor of love. For our entrees, we tried their lobster linguine and surf and turf that came with mashed potatoes, Chinese broccoli, lobster tail, and filet mignon. Everything was delicious, especially the mashed potatoes. The restaurant is not that big, there's a back area which can accommodate a larger party otherwise there's tables of 2-6 that line one side of the place. In the middle is their bar area which the locals love hanging out around. The service here is excellent. We will be back again.

Went back here to where my kid and I like to hang out for lunch during in elementary school time and COVID period. We love this place a lot since it's convenient from the neighborhood and great foods. It's very cozy and romantic place before COVID and glad to see them went back to it. They do have open doors/windows on the bar side with high tables/chairs overlook the small parking lot. Dinning room is on the other side and with dark ambiance decors/walls and lite up at light, it is very romantic. Service is good, but sometime can be forgetful. Great foods, packed of great quality of meat and favor. Cocktails are will skillful make. Still a great place for great drinks and foods with friends or family. As for parking, street parkings...you might have to park a block away and walk over but it's a good way to build up an appetizer.

Nico's is a great place. George is a great guy and definitely interacts when you walk by him. If you are on a date or need to have a somewhat private conversation, then head upstairs. If you are like most of us who want the fun, lively atmosphere, great food, great service, etc., stay in the ground floor! We did get stuck upstairs a couple of months ago and I think the server was overstretched or just plain forgot about us. Although it was disappointing that time, I chalked it up to agreeing to go upstairs. My mistake!

Talk about great service. I got the best old fashions from Sebastian. All the staff here is amazing. Also, Mekenzie's bad ass.! it's so nice to just sit down and have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere. I definitely will be back.

Great place, almost a hidden gem in Belmont shore. We lunch stopping in for lunch. Lemon chicken, burger and gnocchi is amazing. Sitting at the bar is a plus great service and inside can be a little cold

Excellent restaurant. My wife and I both had a special macadamia nut halibut that included asparagus, spinach, and risotto. It was excellent but the nuts were slightly over toasted. Bread pudding dessert was excellent. Lots of tables for two and fairly close together. It was very vibrant atmosphere. That said, it is noisy in downstairs area. There is an upstairs we did not see. There is a huge wine and drink selection. Service was excellent. Thank you Taylor S. Parking is street parking. We were at 2nd and PCH mall area and left our car and walked over the bridge. Good experience.

This is a regular spot for my husband and I when we are restaurant/bar hopping down Second Street on a Saturday afternoon. It's a great local spot with a cozy atmosphere, great drinks and good (albeit not mind blowing, but good) food. We usually sit at the bar as we look forward to being waited on by Celeste, an amazing bartender who is a pleasure to chat with as well. She makes fantastic espresso martinis (with freshly made espresso!) and is very accommodating to any cocktail or mocktail you can think of. While their bar area is small, the restaurant itself has a few different seating areas that are perfect for groups large or small, or just an intimate one-on-one date night. On this visit, they happened to have a seasonal holiday cocktail menu, which I love because it offers festive, creative options you wouldn't normally get with their regular beverage program. As always, they have a great wine list, by the glass and by the bottle. I love that the bar is just busy enough to have some energy but never too crowded during this time of day, and that they are open for lunch so I have a cozy place to take work clients that has a variety of food items. Parking can be a little challenging, there is a small lot and street parking but it can fill up fast. I have always had good experiences here and I just think it's a very cute, special place.

This is a fairly upscale restaurant with a very nice bar areas to hang out at. Seems to be flooded with locals and it has a very nice vibe to it. The food is pretty ok and the wine is overpriced. I assume as they only have nicer wines to choose from. I will definitely come back here to either eat something or to just enjoy a glass of wine. This place has great service and we will definitely come back. I only wish that they would have more cheaper wine options so you could enjoy a few glasses and not go broke....

Love Nico's! Amazing date or treat your self location! The muscles are fantastic! I highly recommend checking it out. Trust your bartenders they make fantastic cocktails.

Went to dine at the bar on Friday. Bartenders were too busy with their friends and themselves to greet new customers and clear the bar tops from previous customers. I had to ask for everything including to have the bar top cleaned in front of me. Bartender got the food order partially wrong, never came back to check if everything was good after food was served. Food is always good but the lack of good service tainted the experience. Been going here for years. Service is not what it used to be. I hope that this review sheds some light on what could easily be corrected

Restaurants ambiance is sexy and dark perfect for an intimate date night! My boyfriend and I tried this place out accidentally because we had missed our other restaurant reservation. And I'm so GLAD we stumbled upon Nico's. We ordered some delicious cocktails and food( steak tar tar and ceaser salad with chicken)! Staff members are very accommodating with us. Let us dine even though they were a couple minutes till close. I have been thinking about the steak tar tar ever since I've left, almost went back the very next day. See you soon NICO'S!

Having heard about this place for so long, I was anxious to treat my friend to dinner. The restaurant is attractive, but tables are small and placed closely together; both of us knew it was going to be too noisy. Staff is pleasant and prompt. Our wine choices were lovely. We decided to just share calamari and go elsewhere for a more peaceful dinner. The best thing about the calamari was that it was served on a bed of fried spinach leaves. However, the calamari was flavourless and "off", possibly not fresh. I know many people just love it here, I've always heard great reviews. But it just wasn't for me.

If you are looking to go out for a special dinner don't go here. On special days such as Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve and you make a reservation (well in advance and they make you confirm) **I made reservations at New Year's Eve and Christmas Eve (today) and now they seem to think it's okay to seat you at a high top table in bar w STOOLS. I must say that something I never expected! This will be my last time coming here. I suggest - if you're going to come here find out ahead of time what kind of seating arrangements you're going to get -as I never would've come here if it was a high top. So we left and went to second and PCh restaurant " A at PCH". The hostess sat us quickly to a nice both even though they were busy. Food was phenomenal and service was superb. Much better option!!

Always a great experience with my daughters. No matter what we have it is incredible. My favorite is the Gem Salad, Fillet, and a Crème Brûlée finale. My daughters love the pasta and chicken dishes. Cheers

What a great night! Took a first date and had a first class experience. The food is great! Try the seafood risotto. My date had the sea bass best she ever had. Fun to finish the night at the bar with some homemade pecan pie. It has great energy and seems like there is a good mix of locals and newcomers. I will be back maybe for an anniversary!

I'm always having the best time at Nico's restaurant where the atmosphere is cozy, elevated and not one bit stuffy. The staff is always on point and super friendly when it comes to recommendations. The food is simply outstanding and scales from classic American to Italian favorites. Each dish is always tasty and beautifully presented. Definitely an establishment where you can tell the owner has his passion and energy present with the employees and patrons. Cheers Nico's!

I went in during happy hour with a group of friends. For table dining you need to make reservations. For happy hour you can sit at a high top table or the bar. The high tops are designed to seat two. Since there were four of us we pulled the tables close to sit together. The restaurant is small and the bar area limited in space. This is a date night place, especially for happy hour. Soft lighting and intimate seating. Parking is available on the residential side streets. Food was really good (especially the french fries). They also have a few signature cocktails that I recommend as well.

Nico's will forever have my heart! Everything here is done to perfection. Their cocktails were splendid, our bartenders were so much fun, the food was out of this world (flatbread plus their gnocchi OMG)!! I love how it has an upscale but not stuffy ambiance. It felt like my rich aunties home who makes me extra dirty martinis. Shout out to the wait staff who were seriously putting in work. It was only a thursday and they were POPPIN!! Also love that they're open late. Thank you Nicos for existing !!!

Wanted to try a few restaurants near the area and Nico was one of them. When you come early there's no waiting. We were seated right away. I have to point out the ambiance it is a little rustic and needs a major remodel Service was okay, We started with a couple of appetizers Roasted Garlic, and Calamari, I ordered a Beet Salad, starters were all good. I ordered the Chilian Sea Bass which with Risotto was good. I will add that others' orders were a little salty someone in the Kitchen has a heavy salt hand. Overall our meal was good. Parking is difficult street parking. Thanks

This is one of our favorite places to dine. We sit at the bar which is more social and the bartenders are always friendly. I can honestly say that the pork chop is the best I have ever had and my wife's is the salmon. There's not a huge selection of wines by the glass but if you're looking for a bottle, there's a great selection. Parking can be tricky but it's a nice walk from whatever you manage to find it.

Well - Hubby tried here again w a reservation. For $$$$ and advanced reservation got sat at high top w stool in THE BAR!! So loud. No way to talk - no regular menu again. They just don't seem to f'ing care - ever. Dont come here for holidays!!!

Long time staple in Naples and a great option for an intimate evening out without having to drive to LA! We had lamb chops and steak - delicious!

Everything is frozen , its obvious ! Long wait time , no customers inside . What does that say about this place ? It sucks ! Asking to use the bathroom , they treat you like a scum . Not going back

The best restaurant in Long Beach, if not all of So Cal. I had the Filet Mignon, and it was amazing. Melted like butter. The mushroom gnocchi appetizer was maybe the best mushroom dish I have ever had. The ambiance and service is also top notch. I highly recommend going here.

In one word, this place is Sublime. The staff is so knowledgeable. I asked Jayden what wine would pair well with my seafood cobb, which was the superb special tonight. He made the perfect recommendation and my palette was delighted by the spectrum of flavor. A new regular has been born. I was told that there was a nightly special here so I will be coming more regularly to find out what it is. Everything was so delicious. I cannot emphasize that enough. If you are in the area and looking for an "ABSOLUTE" this is the place.

This place is the best hidden secret in Long Beach it's been around for 25+ years and the food and service is extraordinary. The bar is a whole vibe too! Love this place!!

Staff is incredibly kind and personable. The location offers quality ingredients that you tell are made with love and attention to consistency. Highly recommended the steak tartare. Intimate and classy location with a great bar area and lots of seating.

Found this gem and have become regulars. Food is great. Love the atmosphere. Upscale but still casual. Our favorite time is Sunday mornings. Celeste tends bar. She is amazing! Beautiful! Sweet! And makes a mean drink. You won't get better service anywhere. If you are looking for a great place for a date or you just want to come in for a nice glass of wine and something sweet this is the place.

I love this place. The decor is dim, classy and romantic. The service is fast and friendly. We had the steam clams, burrata and beat salad, and all of it was finger licking good! The calamari was ok, it lacked flavor. Salmon and sea bass were cooked and seasoned very well. Parking is difficult and located on a busy street.

We have been coming here every once a while for years. Unfortunately they dramatically increased the prices and the food got worse. They're charging for random stuff like water (8 dollars), 3 dollars to split a salad which was offered to us to do, we did not request it. Sea bass was over cooked. It is sad because the food used to be so good before and the price was appropriate. Unfortunately this is probably our last time here. Place was pretty empty for a Saturday and i always remember it being packed so likely they have disappointed others as well.

We stumbled upon Nico's because we were looking for something open past 10pm and boy were we happy! Nico's has such a a comforting vibe and reminded us of Christmas in Boston or somewhere cozy on the east coast. The service was excellent and the restaurant was decorated perfectly for the holidays. The prices on the menu are definitely on the higher side but the portions were quite generous so we'll need to remember to share next time. We started with a bottle of the Nero D'Avolo which we really enjoyed. Then the waitress brought out fresh, warm bread with a variety of different olive oils which were fantastic. My girlfriends ordered the pasta special and a bowl of their daily soup and I ordered the King Salmon. The salmon was a generous portion and cooked perfectly on top of a bed of crispy potatoes and a honey mustard glaze. I didn't love the sweetness of the glaze but the salmon and potatoes were perfectly cooked. I also loved the veggies that were served with the dish (asparagus, green beans, brussel sprouts)... so yummy! I'll be back and can't wait to try more! The waitress said the gnocchi was one of her favorite dishes so that's definitely on my list for my next visit :)

The Nico's staff is 10/10! Service is always 5 stars. Food quality is subpar for the price point. Extremely expensive for oily, bland entrees. Nice, intimate interior with a wrap around bar. Large selection of wines and full cocktail selection. Overpriced for what you get.

I am giving Nico's 2 stars because the food was good, not great, and the portions were on the small side. The overall experience was not particularly good and I will not be returning. We went to celebrate a family birthday, all adults, so cocktails were definitely in order. Unfortunately, they were a disappointment. They did not have the basic ingredients for some of the drinks on their menu and when my mother settled on an old fashioned the server, who was also the bartender, told us it was her specialty and she was in for a treat. It was not very good at all, tasted like straight alcohol, in fact none of the other drinks were particularly good. A second round was not ordered :( When it came time to order the meal, again, some items were not available. Including what the birthday boy was going to order. We had the Roasted Garlic appetizer which was very good, actually the best item of the day. I had the Jumbo Sea Scallops w/ risotto which was good but the 3 scallops weren't very jumbo. The Flat Iron Steak was also 'undersized' but tasty and the Bistro Burger was an average restaurant burger. Everything was good but not great and a little overpriced for what you get. Dessert time... Did they offer the customary birthday scoop of ice cream? No. So, we were looking at the dessert menu and asked the server if they had affogato (vanilla ice cream w/ espresso poured over) she said yes that it was wonderful here and one of her personal favorites. Then in the next breath said "oh, no we don't have any espresso. We haven't seen the coffee guy in a while". We settled on a creme brulee and bread pudding for the table and called it a day. The service was meh, the server/bartender was too friendly to some people at the table and ignored others. When complemented on her tattoos she pulled up her skirt to show the one on her upper thigh and she explained that one was the result of peer pressure. Just too much over share. All in all, a disappointing experience.

Bartender was nice, she made a great drink for my girlfriend and I, I know this wasn't her call but she reluctantly asked if I would turn my backwards hat forward because it's a requirement sitting at the bar. That was just so weird to me, it didn't matter what was on my hat, just the direction it was facing. It's fuckin 2023 people what are we doing here lol PS If you are old, rich, and white, you are gonna fuckin love this place.

The food was way overpriced no fresh herbs was not offered pepper or cheese When they brought the cheese it was shredded like u by in the store I got the house special $65 . Really It was red sauce with noodles and beef . Beef stoughoff with red sauce for $65 . Other dishes lobster ravioli not impressed . U want high class great food go to L'Opra 1/2 the cost with excellent food

Don't listen to Sharon S below. She is a psycho who sat next to my family last night at dinner, screamed in the face of the whole staff after they told her 15 times they were fixing her bill and apologizing for the mistake. She threw water in the face of one of my family members and the owner, broke a glass from slamming so hard on the table, and screamed at all the bystanders trying to tell her to chill out. Her and her equally crazy husband only left because we threatened to call the police. Best part, she didn't have to pay her bill!!! Someone wanted a free dinner!! Happy birthday Sharon, I hope it's one you remember forever. Nico's is an amazing restaurant with great food, great drinks, awesome attentive staff and the nicest owner you could meet. It's our favorite place to go as a family, don't let Karen Sharon scare you away, if you look at her other reviews she's made, it's clear what kind of person she is.

Food was amazing, super fast service, fun ambience. Definitely will be back for more. It was my our first time around the area and we really enjoyed this little gem of a restaurant., We didn't have a reservation. It was just a walk-in and they absolutely took care of us. Absolutely incredible experience and quality customer service. Will be back for sure

This is spot for 25 yrs has been a staple in the Naples area of Long Beach! Great drinks, amazing food & always a great social crowd! Music always sets the mood for a great night. The bartender "Mac" makes the most eye catching & tasty drinks. Nico's meatballs is a great choice for bar food. Steak tartar is on point .... and the Tequila shots are top shelf!

Don't ever go there!! I went on my 76th birthday and they double charged me at $481 for $ 207 bill!!!!

By far the best spot in Long Beach. Staff, ambiance, food and cocktails. If you're looking for a good date spot, this is the place to go. They also have the best selection of spirits, wine and Champagne.

Service was good not great. Ambiance was nice. Overpriced. I looked up menus before and they had increased the prices a lot since the last posted menus I viewed.

I had the most amazing experience here on Valentine's Day. The ambiance is perfect, lighting is romantic and the food was to die for!!! I had Chilean sea bass with risotto and asparagus and it didn't disappoint. The cinnamon roll bread pudding and cocktails were delicious too! I will be coming back for seconds.
