I recently visited the Nido & Mariana Qubein Children’s Museum, and I have to say – it’s hands down one of the best indoor playgrounds I’ve ever seen! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a bright, spacious, and thoughtfully designed environment that sparks creativity and invites exploration. What really stood out to me was the variety of play areas – each one built around a different theme or concept. Whether your child is into science, building, pretend play, or just climbing and sliding, there’s something here for everyone. I only managed to capture a few pictures, but trust me – there is so much more than what I documented. Every corner of the museum offers a new activity or interactive exhibit, many of which are both fun and educational. It’s the kind of place where kids can easily spend hours, and parents can feel good knowing they’re engaged in meaningful play. Overall, the Nido & Mariana Qubein Children’s Museum isn’t just a rainy-day backup plan – it’s a must-visit destination for families. Whether you’re a local or just passing through High Point, NC, make sure to put this on your list. You won’t be disappointed!

Definitely our new favorite kid's museum! I wanted to do something fun but just for a day for my kids (6 and 4 yrs old) during spring break and that's when I found this place. We live in Johnston county and it would be a 1 hour 50 min drive to the museum. So I decided to take the train from Cary, it's only 1hr 39 min but also much more relaxing and fun! The kids loved riding on the train. Once in High Point it's only a few blocks to the museum. Google said it would be an 18 min walk but I don't think it took us that long. The museum was amazing! There are so many things to do! Everything was incredibly clean. I would say this is the best maintained kids museum we have been too (we have been to quite a few). The set-up reminds me of a mall with little stores of activities/ pretend play. We went on a Wednesday around noon and it was not too crowded. The way they have all of the sections set up it never felt crowded or like any area was too busy for us to play in. My daughter absolutely loved the carousel. Both kids had a blast in the water section. We will definitely make this trip often. If you don't live close by, I encourage you to check the Amtrak schedule, it was inexpensive and made it such an easy trip. Also, you can easily pass by the largest chest of drawers for a photo op on the way to the museum if walking.

This place is such a wonderful addition to High Point! There's all kinds of things to experience and they also give EBT discount with your card and ID (I do believe there is a limit on how many people it covers, but I can't tell you for sure! Check their site for info). There's a play area for younger children that is kind of gated off, a huge outdoor area with a playground, large sand area, and a two level carousel. There's a STEM area upstairs, arcade room, water play room downstairs, and a huge climbing exhibit, and just so much more. I can't name it all 😂. But it's always a great experience and staff is always kind and helpful. The only thing I wish was different is that you can't bring your own food inside bc they prefer you buy food and beverages at their cafe, you have to eat it in a picnic area outside in the parking lot. The cafe is kind of pricey and it's much more convenient to be able to bring your own food. Especially if you have picky littles!

We had a great time visiting here. It's probably better for younger kids. The 2 oldest were 13 and 14 years old. My 11 year old grandson was slightly bored. They had fun, and I did, too. I learned quite a bit also. It's 14.00 a person. If you get snap well food stamps you pay 5.00 a person up to 4 people. They have different activities for the kids to do and different areas you can visit. From an ambulance to a fire truck to guess the mysterious code words. A vets office, a store where you buy fake food and ring it up at a register. A TV studio so you can do the news, a beauty parlor. They can learn about the planets and the moon and know what it's like to be in a spaceship. They had a couple of jungle gyms for the kids to play on. Outside, there's a playground , a big chess game with giant chess pieces, and they even have a double-decker merry go around the kids can ride. Was it worth the money, I would say yes. It got the kids out of the house and running and having a good time. I highly recommend this place. They even have an area where you can buy food and drinks or snacks. Plan on spending several hours here. Also, plan on some crowds, and there were several school busses full of kids. Its was nice getting out of the heat and in the ac. The employees were very nice and helpful, especially when we lost track of the oldest kid.I would definitely go back again if I had younger kids with me.

Easily the best kids museum I've ever been to! I've lived all over the United States and overseas in Korea and this one is superior. The complex is very large, with easy and accessible parking and security. Inside there are two levels and a cafe, with endless options for kids and plenty of seating for the adults. Further, they have scheduled activities such as stem crafts and story time spread throughout the day. In the back yard, they have a beautiful playground and the best Carousel we have ever seen! The kids had an absolute blast and you can spend the whole day here easily! Go check it out 10/10!!!

Great place to beat the summer heat. Activities for all children from crawlers to 9 ish (i would say). Just the two large water table exhibits alone can keep children occupied for hours. Plus a Carousel , 2 story net climb, pretend village and many other exhibits makes this a good place to go. Check-in with digital tickets took some time as the line was decently long. Maybe there should be one line for pre purchased digital tickets and a second line for people buying tickets that day.

What an ABSOLUTELY wonderful place—Nido & Mariana Qubein Children’s Museum truly stands out! This is by far one of the most phenomenal children’s museums we’ve ever visited. From the incredible outdoor double-decker carousel and imaginative playground to the serene garden, sandpit, and interactive water activities—there was something magical around every corner. The “potato chip climber” was a huge hit, and even the adults had an absolute blast exploring and playing alongside the kids. Such a gem—we can’t wait to come back!

We went in June 2025 and my kids got to do gem mining, made slime, used a chomp saw, met firefighters, and that was all before even going through the museum itself. Best value for kids adventures in the area. Not to mention unlimited carousel rides. Highlight of my kids’ summer so far!
