Night Hawk

Night Hawk is a proper bar with creative drinks that caters to the more adventurous in terms of cocktail palatte. The place is exudes a classic American diner vibe with Art Deco thrown into the mix which is very much in-line and well thought out with the artwork that inspires the place; Nighthawks by Edward Hopper. If you know your classic cocktails, you can order them as well even though its not listed on the menu so just give them a go as well, don't be shy. I loved the Rusty Nail I got. Overall a wonderful experience, but do prepare for a bit of a wait as reservations are not possible and best to call 15 mins ahead to check if the place has place for you and your date :) Cheers!

An awesome speakeasy with creative drinks. I had the gamma ray which was so balanced, and the sweet sabbath was the perfect dessert drink. Kick artist fix is strong and therefore an acquired taste, but the lingering sweet maple aftertaste made up for it. It’s a very small space and full when we arrived, but luckily they were able to sit us at the 5 oar cafe seats just outside.

Nice interior and service. When I was cold they gave me a blanket. When I forgot my phone in the toilet the staff gave it back to me after not even 5 minutes. The drink recommendation was great — I got a Q.O.O. (Great grape and citrusy taste) and Peach Fuzz (Nice as well). Thank you.

Second time here and this place is still a vibe. It’s an intimate and super stylish space, giving off sexy art deco vibes. Team here is super chill and friendly, and the cocktails are all very unique and very well crafted. This is a great place to enjoy a cocktail and just relax a bit, it’s also a perfect date spot.

I dropped in early on a Friday evening, shortly after they opened. Wanted to taste some creative cocktails and I wasn’t disappointed. Started with the “black hole sun”, which was a bourbon and sloe gin concoction, topped with a small scoop of ice cream that sat perfectly on the tip of a long, rectangular piece of ice, preventing it from melting into the drink below. Very interesting contrast of slightly tart fruitiness and creaminess. Next, I had the “sleepy saunter”, which had lychee smoked coconut gin and grappa, with cherry icing on the glass. Finally, I had the “sinewy refreshment” and this was my favourite. Cognac, rum, ube and if I’m not wrong, the milky component was clarified, so it had a malty, slightly milky aroma and taste but in a clear liquid. I found it quite nostalgic and addictive, reminding me of horlicks sweets. Plus, it’s served with a lollipop of the milk solids from the clarification process. Service was great, with all the bartenders being very friendly. Atmosphere was nice. Small space speakeasy but with a bit more noise. Overall, the cocktails are probably not going to get you drunk but they are a bit of an adventure in flavours.

Dark, metropolitan interior. Charming staff. The place exudes warmth and familiarity- everyone seems to know each other. Cocktails are executed fluidly and served fast and fresh. Loved their taller classic cocktails- Black Hole Sun was fruit-forward and fun with the popping candy on vanilla ice cream. Gamma Ray Sun was a midori sour on steroids with bitter gourd infusion! Their namesake cocktail Nighhawks suits the warming and fun vibe (being a coffee/chocolate-forward creation). Food is competent, but cocktails dominate! :) $60/70 a pax for 2 cocktails + nibbles. Come early 6/7pm for seats. Otherwise…join the queue!

Pretty classy bar ! However, the interior might be a bit too small with limited seats ! A little squeezy but I feel like that really adds to a more cozy vibe and almost a little homely hehe. Great place to come with a date cause the ambience really adds to the experience ! Shouldn’t have trusted myself to choose my own drink cause it didn’t really fit my taste profile 🥲🥲 my friend really enjoyed her drink though ! Kinda love how the exterior is a little unsuspecting which also gives it a little mysterious vibe ! Wouldn’t mind coming back again but I’ll ask for recommendations next time 😭🙏

Service and attitude were disappointing, which made the overall experience unpleasant. The idea of using sesame oil to elevate a Negroni is creative and adds a nice touch, but the execution fell short. The drink was overwhelmingly bitter, leaving only a lingering harshness with no balance, while the mushroom aroma was completely overshadowed. The concept itself is promising, but the bartender’s execution was poor, and the result feels overrated.

Received multiple recommendations to this speakeasy and we are so glad we were able to squeeze this spot into our itinerary! The drinks here are very unique and with complex flavors. Great service and vibes whether you're coming here solo or with a group.
