The Core Team Behind Louisiana Purchase Is Opening Another Restaurant in North Park | Eater San Diego

"I learned that Niima Outpost is a mixed-use development from Hub & Spoke Communities on El Cajon Boulevard; built from climate-friendly construction material, it includes 55 apartments across five stories and a 2,000-square-foot courtyard adjacent to the restaurant space, and its ground-floor 2,800-square-foot space will be anchored by the new Austin Nola restaurant." - Candice Woo

I have had the pleasure of living at Niima since it’s opening. There were some delays with move-ins due to it being a new build that made for the first couple of months being slightly rocky, however, things are beginning to smooth out. Shoutout to the property manager Tianna Green (5 STARS)! The building itself is beautiful, from the lobby to the individual apartments. Lot’s of great natural lighting even in the hallways. The building was made with sustainable materials so the natural elements give the property a great energy. I am looking forward to the rooftop opening as well as the restaurant, I think both with be great and in alignment with the quality of the rest of the property. I truly feel that everything coming together is largely accredited to the property manager, Tianna. She has been absolutely amazing and such a pleasure to work with. I have never lived in a new build before so I wasn’t keen to the trials and tribulations that come with that but she has really made this whole process much smoother and truly done her best to accommodate the tenants. Very transparent, kind, and action-forward. So grateful for Tianna and all that she does for me! She really does go above and beyond. I am eager to see Niima continue to come together and reach it’s full glory in the coming months!

I’ve had the opportunity to live in Niima for more than a month and I was pleased to be impressed. From the moment you enter, it is clear that each detail has been carefully designed to offer comfort, functionality and style. The architectural design combines modernity and elegance, with clean lines and high quality finishes that reflect a sophisticated environment. The apartments are spacious and well lit. Clearly, not only is it a question of living, but of experiencing a complete lifestyle. Finally, the location is unbeatable. It is located in a good area with access to restaurants, parks, shopping centers and public transport, making it a perfect option for both families and young professionals. In short, this departmental building is an example of how architecture and design can be combined to create a place that is not only functional but also aspirational. It is certainly an excellent choice for those who seek quality and comfort.

Worst customer service experience I have ever received. Called to get information on their availability, said the manager wasn't in. I then asked what their parking is like as we have one vehicle. Said she didn't have that info. I asked when the manager will be in and the lady on the phone said. "maybe tomorrow.. idk". WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS. I hope you don't treat all people looking for a home here like this. I can't imagine how the customer service is once you actually move in. This place is a joke.

I’ll start with the good and end with the ugly. The absolute prize here is Tianna, 12/10. Highly recommend her just as a person. She is such a doll that she reminds me what true kindness and professionalism is and I’m here for it. Don’t expect any of that from me in this review. I am a terror. They are so lucky to have Tianna because she will succeed anywhere she goes. AND the apartments are CUTE. They freakin’ nailed the aesthetics (minus the carpet in the loft/bed area and key locks - why, when you can just have fob access for everything? One fob to rule them all), the natural light, the color scheme the 🤌spiral staircase 🤌Shout out whoever created the blueprints for the apartments. Stunning. There’s no in between here, we go straight into the ugly. They likely won’t show you the garage during a tour because if they offer you parking, you’ll be sharing it with about 5 oversized lifted trucks (love me some trucks but only one in the garage parks like a normal human being and legally) who absolutely struggle to park within the lines. And when they are in spots, they’re illegally parking in handicap with no placard. They also use your parking space has storage for their unused construction material. Yes, you PAY PARKING for them to use your spot as STORAGE. If you don’t get a spot it is because construction workers are using the spots to keep their vehicles or it’s for carpet/materials. Don’t be shy, ask them about it. Ask them when the 6.6 liter GMC will be back to park for weeks in the electric car charge/spot. That person has a freaking beautiful truck, but I bet their smooth brain is even prettier. Not a single line on the bad boy. The white truck that hasn’t been washed in 8 years actually did attempt to correct his parking after about 5 days of me living here and threatening to call the police/tow company. May the force be with you when requesting help with electrical outages. I moved in 12/06 on 12/07 I learned one wall’s outlets are out completely. Submitted my request (give them a few days grace as they don’t work weekends). The first line electrician was able to determine something was wrong but told me the issue was bigger and it needed to be escalated and someone who contact me. I have been out of town and this hasn’t impacted me. But I am back, and It is now 12/20, that have not contacted me so I submitted another ticket today. This should show you they do not care if the building is working order or how miserable they make your living situation. I should point out that lifted trucks and SUVs are also the only cars that can get into the garage without taking any damage. They cemented a permanent bump in the garage entrance so any sport stance car (stock) scrapes out when entering/leaving the garage. The walls are paper thin. I can hear the person across the hall from me watching tv in my loft/bedroom area. ACROSS THE HALL. There is also a person who has an alarm that goes off around 1:45am. Basically, I’m saying you have to invest in an incredible white noise machine or sound proof headphones. I care about this less than I care about the parking because I can independently find a solution and resolve this without involving other parties. But I’ll chirp about it as you can see. Give it a year or two before you consider moving here. I’ll update this review if anything changes. And to save you time, it won’t. I fully anticipate that instead of resolution, I will instead receive retaliation for this.
