Interesting sushi buffet. Very crowded, be prepared to wait to be seated. Once seated, if you select the buffet option, you then order from a list of offerings, standard sushi/sashimi fare. Trick is to account for the time between orders and keeping track of what you ordered so that you don't order too much, since they do charge a ka carte prices for items left over to discourage food waste. You have a 2 hrs time limit, but that's plenty of time. If you bring your appetite, you're in for a treat. If you didn't, then order from the menu. I'm an eater, so I highly recommend it.

Service: very attentive and friendly host. They were on top of it, taking away empty dishes, checking in if we needed anything, etc. Parking: there’s metered parking Ambiance: looks a little old, but everything was very clean. Food: super worth the value, so if you’re looking for good bang for your buck, I would recommend this place. I saw a previous review where the girl said the food wasn’t fresh but for us, the sashimi (salmon, roe, mackerel, yellowtail) were allll super fresh. We were actually surprised by how good it was for all you can eat! There’s also a good amount of rolls and hot appetizer items. A lot of it is probably stuff you can get at the grocery store but for all you can eat, I’m not complaining! The steak appetizer was also juicy and tender. Lastly, a lot of places typically try to stuff a lot of rice in the sushi rolls and nigiri, but this place didn’t do that, which was great. Net net, great place for its value. We’ll be back!

I saw many people on social media recommending Nijiya Buffet in Medford. The name sounds Japanese, so I thought it was an authentic Japanese place. But when I walked in, I realized it’s actually run by Chinese owners (nothing against that!). The vibe, as you can see in photos 2–4, feels just like one of those low-cost family chain restaurants back in Asia. The food was… quite something (photos 6–9). The pork cutlet and takoyaki tasted obviously pre-made, the miso soup had that instant-powder flavor, and the yaki udon was bland with water pooling at the bottom. The sushi didn’t taste fresh at all, and the ice cream was the exact same flavor as the cheapest bulk one from Costco. From the very first bite, I could really feel how much effort the restaurant put into “cost control.” The service was unique too. Servers were constantly rushing around — plates dropped a few times, and pickled ginger kept falling on the floor. I was honestly worried someone might slip. Maybe that’s part of their “authentic dining atmosphere” experience (just my personal opinion). The biggest surprise, though, was the menu trick (photo 5). Every sushi roll has a cute little “6pts” or “8pts” label, but hidden among those tiny lines is one nearly invisible note: “Leftover will be charged regular menu price.” 💅💅💅 I have to admit — the design is clever. The key information isn’t placed in a noticeable spot, yet it’s artfully buried in the text. Such “attention to detail” truly shows how thoughtful the restaurant is. Shouldn’t that kind of important info be highlighted instead? Individually, the regular menu prices don’t seem high, but add them up and it’s definitely not a small amount. I honestly admire this level of creativity — maybe they can teach me how to play word games like this? (personal opinion only, not targeting anyone) The tip options were equally well thought out — the system only offers four choices, starting from 16% and going up to almost 50%. I respect tipping culture and understand service is hard work, but it’s clear this restaurant really knows how to make “choice” work in their favor. After the meal, I had a stomachache, and my friend said she didn’t feel well either. Maybe it’s just coincidence… or part of the experience (again, just personal opinion). This post isn’t meant to attack or discourage anyone. It’s simply a genuine dining experience. Just a reminder: before you try new places, take a closer look at the fine print — sometimes a restaurant’s good intentions are hidden very, very deep. 🥹💕

Nijiya in Medford Square is the go-to Asian restaurant that exceeds all expectations. From the mouth-watering food and reasonable prices to the inviting atmosphere and impeccable customer service, Nijiya has it all. I am truly impressed and love everything about this restaurant. If you’re hungry, they have lunch and dinner all you can eat menu, made fresh to order. For anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Nijiya.

Google
The way i had 20 pieces of salmon sashimi lolol such a good price; honestly pretty good! Apps and dessert part of AYCE too so that was nice.

Google
The sushi is sooooo good and a good price! I like to go during lunch (AYCE) because the price feels like more bang for your buck. The staff is attentive which helps our orders go in fast. My fav AYCE place!

We love coming to Nijiya Sushi! They have a good assortment of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options to choose from. The service is always quick and the food tastes great!

Google
I’ve been to this restaurant many times, and this will be the last time in my life going there. I’ll also tell my friends not to go again since it’s really disappointing. I don’t even want to talk about the paper-like thin sweet egg, and the fact that I got diarrhea many times after eating here. In the picture are the rice balls from the nigiri. While I was still eating, a person came to me and asked why I left some rice, and said they would charge me if I wasted it. I said they don’t have the squid sashimi option, and also, I didn’t leave every single rice ball. She said it’s because squid is expensive, so they HAVE TO serve the squid with rice. This sounds really funny and ridiculous. The portion of the rice ball is really big. So you are telling your customers that you want to save money by feeding us with extra cheap rice and then blame us for “wasting” it? At last, I left 4.5 rice balls in total, which fairly equals a small bowl of rice. So here I have a suggestion for you guys: if you really want to save money and food, and you can’t afford the loss of a bowl of rice per person, how about adding the price of that bowl of rice to the regular price and giving your customers the option to have light rice or sashimi? That sounds like a real food-saving plan, instead of filling people with rice and blaming them for wasting food when you never gave an option.

Yelp
Easily the best sushi buffet in the metro Boston area I've come across. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Ambience was pleasant. Price was fair, about $31 for dinner/weekend buffet---there are limits on overall time and maximum number of pieces so you can't be a TOTAL effing shameless glutton, but unless you aspire to gobble 1/10th of your body weight in food at a time, you will not have any trouble feeling stuffed afterwards. We were mainly interested in the sashimi and nigiri, and they were of very decent quality---no, you won't get a la carte sushi restaurant quality, but I'd say at least equal to fresh-made Whole Foods sushi quality, and decent quality sticky/chewy quasi-sushi-rice not the cheap mushy white rice that the Chinese mega buffets use in their barely-edible "sushi" bars. Appetizers were their weak spot: miso soup had damn near zero miso in it that we could taste, calamari was frozen not fresh and over-breaded like the "tempura" shrimp; seaweed salad was very good, though. For dessert, the ice cream (vanilla, green tea, and red bean were the 3 flavors available) was generously portioned but somewhat bland in actual flavor, like their miso soup. All in all, not a bad deal---I had what would have cost me at least $60 in a normal a la carte sushi place, for half that amount and without any real regrets or complaints.

Yelp
5/5 option for AYCE sushi! I absolutely love sushi, and Nijiya absolutely delivers for an AYCE option. It's not as high quality as a nicer a la carte place, but it's really great for unlimited. One of the pros that puts this above some of the other places is that they include yellowtail in their sashimi options for dinner - this is the first AYCE where I've seen that. They also include spider rolls in their dinner menu, which is soft shell crab and also an item I don't see at a lot of other AYCE places. The fish is fresh enough to be delicious, and the orders come out pretty quickly. One thing I wasn't a huge fan of was that the nigiri and sashimi seem to be limited to 25 pieces per order according to the menu. I'm not sure how strictly that is enforced, but we kept our orders small because of that and ended up hitting our time limit before we were fully stuffed (which could be a good or a bad thing!) The actual food was delicious - the salmon tasted fresh and fatty, the tuna didn't have a metallic taste like some places, and the squid was the perfect texture for raw squid. I also LOVE yellowtail so was very happy to see it as an option, and the green tea and red bean ice creams were a perfect way to end the meal! This was incredibly busy though, so we waited for a bit and there was still a large line of people waiting when we left around 8pm. Get there early or see if you can get a reservation! We didn't try the hot food much, but it looked decent when other people ordered it.

Yelp
I wanted to find a good AYCE sushi spot around boston. First experience was good, but the second time I went here, I paid more attention to everything. I made the mistake of looking in the top part of the soy sauce "jugs" before my meal. (White caps, looks like it should be used for maple syrup in a waffle place)... we took soy sauce from three other tables before we found one with virtually no mold in it. The shrimp shumai was basically all dough, barely a shrimp to be found. I've noticed a lot of their rolls are like this- generally speaking loaded up on the "cheaper" ingredients and less of anything that might cost more. I suppose you could get your money's worth of AYCE by having sashimi, but I don't know that I'd want to get raw fish here anymore knowing the state of their moldy soy sauce jugs.

Yelp
Great service, clean facilities and price is reasonable, esp. with the good quality of their food. Parking is difficult, though, hence minus 1 star. I'd still recommend this place, but be prepared to walk a fair amount of distance to find a parking.

Yelp
How can I review Nijiya? A regular there or for order in. Is this the best highest omakase quality sushi? NO. Is this great? Always yes. Dunno which one not to order and the AYCE option has never gone wrong. The seafood is always fresh and the servers, although might feel rushed sometimes but they are always patient and smiling and if you frequent enough, you'll get to know the tips. ;) It's a simple place for a casual eat and no frills however ull feel welcomed. The sake is always great and dnt forget to check the Jingle Bells plaque it u r visiting.

Yelp
High quality service. Fast, efficient, and no fuss. One of the best values for sashimi I've ever seen. This is a spot I would recommend to any friend visiting Boston because I think it's genuinely worth it and has a fantastic user experience. Bonus points if you know Chinese as you get to hear gossip. If I had to note a downside, there's only one restroom for gentlemen and one for ladies, so a queue can quickly form. Won't get into the details of many items because it's worth experimenting and trying new things, but will say that their dragon roll is unique. They use yam inside the roll but still topped with unagi and avocado. They also offer vanilla, red bean, and green tea ice cream! Dessert included makes the value skyrocket while boosting the mood.

Yelp
Best all you can eat sushi in MA. Salmon sashimi was surprisingly good. Special rolls tasty as well. Nigiri on point. I'm shocked at the quality given the price. It's a must try.

Fer C.

Yelp
The servers were not that nice except for one of the of them, she was incredibly lovely!! We tried tipping her (and only her) by cash and once one of her coworkers saw that, they took her tip that SHE earned! No one else really earned it, like it's one thing to work and one thing to actually do your best to try and feel the customers welcomed. It was our first time there and will probably won't come back. The food overall was really enjoyable. I work in the service industry as well as a cashier/server and I try my best to not simply take the order but to also make the customer feel seen and actually enjoy the food and atmosphere. Really disappointed that just because one server did a good job she has to share it with mediocre service by the other people.

Yelp
AYCE sushi seems to come and go but Nijiya has been a staple now in Medford Square for a decade and doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. The past few weekends that we have gone, every table has been full and if you're not there by like 6:30 there will be a wait. There is lots of booth space and tables that go together, we have had groups of 12 eat here with no problems in the past. The bar looks full when you walk in but I don't really do mixed drinks so I'm not sure what they offer but it looks like whatever you'd want whipped up. The restaurant itself has a good 20-25 tables overall. Some people would be taken aback by not just jumping right to the raw fish options but I do love their appetizer selection, especially at dinner. The steak is one of my favorites, even if it's not the best I've ever had being a bit tough, the flavor profile does make up for it. Calamari, dumplings, edamame.....all great and of course unlimited. Now on to the really good stuff. Get actual sushi and as much of it as you can handle. I know there is a limit on the menu but I can't remember what it is. I feel its still a very high amount, maybe 20 pieces? I've never come close to hitting it because I also want to dive into a few special rolls. A big goop-heavy on some of them with the mayo, but all have been at least decent quality for AYCE offerings. I've never felt badly or anything after, most are in the 6 to 7/10 range in terms of overall taste. You can't go wrong with any of them if you enjoy the ingredients used, even if you may have to ask what is in each. Service is very helpful, although it does feel rushed at times and the staff doesn't always seem happy to be helping out. They quickly fill drinks, clean off empty plates which can pile up quickly, and are attentive if there is an issue. No complaints, really. Finally, I do need to admit to something here on Yelp I haven't told many people or done since I was like 8 years old eating something of my mom's I didn't like. They have a rule of possibly charging you extra if you don't finish something. While they never have for us, there were a handful of times I spit a bit out into a napkin so we wouldn't be. Sorry, not sorry.

Yelp
Good sushi all you can eat! I felt like the order portions were small enough that we could try a lot of different things. I ate too much though...
google avatar

Yelp
Good AYCE sushi restaurants are hard to come by in the Greater Boston Area and this is one of them! Came here on a Monday night and it was surprisingly packed when we got there at 7pm but only had to wait for 10 minutes. We were then quickly seated and handed our paper slips to fill out our order. What I like about this spot are all their options offered for dinner, specifically all the specialty maki rolls! (Which is what makes this place stand out). They're also all yummy and decent quality with a wide variety! While the quality of the sashimi is just okay, I would come here specifically for the specialty rolls and wide variety.

Tulsi M.

Yelp
A very long wait on Friday night, but it was well worth it. The sushi was amazing and there is a decent drink selection as well. It was extremely packed and loud but that's to be expected at such a popular restaurant. I can't wait to go again!
google avatar

Gloria L.

Yelp
We went for AYCE sushi and it was absolutely delicious. We came in for lunch, but did the dinner option to get the special rolls, sashimi, and ice cream. They were attentive and the food came out really quickly - not many people were there
google avatar

Alice Z.

Yelp
Best ayce sushi in the Boston area!! The fish is fresh and the service is pretty good, so they come out with your order really quick. Plenty of seating but there is a bit of a wait time if you go during rush hours.
google avatar

Andy N.

Yelp
Hands down, the BEST AYCE sushi restaurant I've ever been to. Not only are the prices unbeatable, but they don't sacrifice quality for quantity. The pieces of sashimi and nigiri are huge, fresh, and delicious. Every time I go, I'm shocked at the quality of the fish. It truly is incredible. The menu is vast, and every item is amazing. I don't know how they do it. The service is quick and the ambiance is perfect for a casual, chill AYCE experience. I can't recommend this place enough. Lastly, don't forget to try the matcha AND red bean ice cream
google avatar

Halle H.

Yelp
Best and cheapest sushi spot around! Has the absolute best sushi I've ever had, the avocado maki is my personal favorite. The drinks are very cheap and strong. Place is packed on the weekends making very fun, vibrant and lively. Would 100% recommend
google avatar

Rav H.

Yelp
Love this place! Came here after a friend recommended it. All you can eat sushi for $35 on week nights. The fish was fresh and the service was incredibly fast. The place is moderately sized and very clean. There is plenty of street parking available. I highly recommend anything salmon or eel. Honestly, the next time I go, I'm planning to just order a big plate of salmon sashimi. Overall, a gem of a restaurant.
google avatar

Chae C.

Yelp
Ambiance isn't great but expected from an AYCE place. Service was awful with rude servers. She lifted all our plates to make sure that we were finishing our food. We gave her no reason to think otherwise as we ordered very little from the start. Food was very bad and fishy. The only thing that was somewhat edible were the salmon. But everything else like the tuna, white fish, octopus, squid, shrimp, eel, they were all extremely fishy and smelled almost rotten. Especially the squid and octopus, I had to spit my pieces out. Unfortunately a hard pass for me. I thought Yamato was a lot better.
google avatar

Alice D.

Yelp
I've been here two separate times over the past few months and had a pretty solid experience both times. It's a pretty standard AYCE experience - you order by tallying items from a paper menu and the food comes out pretty quickly after submitting your selections. Water was refilled at a decent rate, albeit we had to ask a few times for it during both visits. The place felt decently clean and it was pretty busy both times so I would say it's pretty popular. The fish was very solid on terms of quality and the quantity of each order was standard - no skimping or stuffing rice either which is a common issue for most all you can eat spots. Overall, solid buffet choice for Medford and I definitely wouldn't hesitate to come back in the future. Service could've been better, but you're not going for amazing wait staff or a super friendly, amazing experience - just good and plentiful sushi.
google avatar

Deborah C.

Yelp
Came for a friend's birthday with a reservation for twelve on a Friday night. You're given slips of paper to tally what you want. We ordered in groups of four to split the food easier. The sushi came out in a timely manner and tasted fresh. The amount of rice was just right as well. We also got ice cream at the end, which was a good refresher after stuffing ourselves with fish. We ended up being asked to leave after we hung around after paying, as another large group was waiting, which is totally understandable. There's street parking in the area, and we were lucky enough to snag a spot right in front og the restaurant. Overall, a good place for a special occasion, or if you just want to eat a lot of sushi.
google avatar

Yelp
I visited Nijiya Sushi about two weeks ago. I like all-you-can-eat sushi places where you order from a menu as opposed to sushi sitting out on plates, and you pick from it. So this place, in principle, was up my alley. The staff and management I interacted with were friendly, and service was generally quick. The sushi tasted fresh, and we generally enjoyed the food. The interior decor is plain, and the pictures already on Yelp show a pretty accurate view of what you get. From a food perspective, there was nothing we didn't like. We tried simple sushi pieces, sashimi, handrolls, and some specialty rolls. Their hot appetizers were enjoyable as well. I don't have much to say about the place; it delivered on its AYCE experience, and we will certainly return.
google avatar

Hallie L.

Yelp
Came with a friend and it was around 40 a person for the dinner pricing and every dollar is well spent! You can get full dishes (noodles, steak, seared salmon, etc.) on top of appetizers (takoyaki, calamari, etc.) on top of the normal sushi and sashimi, and there is dessert included as well. The fish is all good and the staff are attentive with bringing out the food. They did, at the beginning, bring us our orders with some of the sashimi missing, but quickly brought out more when we requested. I wanted to try out some of the options outside of sushi, the takoyaki is mediocre and the steak bad. But the sushi (the main point of going :p) is yummy. Be aware though -- you will have to finish your sushi before they bring you the bill to pay as they charge for leftover sushi!
google avatar

Marina O.

Yelp
The food was great. The portions were big. My husband and I ordered from "all you can eat menu" and it was enough for two of us. We were able to finish everything. We also got crab salad and it was nice. My favorite was "Snow Mountain Maki." The atmosphere is good, not noisy. The servers are nice. For dessert, I had green tea ice cream and it was delicious. You have to be super hungry to go there because that way you can try many different maki.
google avatar

Will W.

Yelp
This is my typical go-to spot when it comes to AYCE sushi in the Boston area - especially with how their servers and staff are all friendly, and they've got a pretty good fish-to-rice ratio compared to some of the other spots I've been to. Plus, they've got more of an old-school restaurant interior - which can be nice if you enjoy somewhat of a nostalgic vibe. As it's located right in a corner of Medford center, there's plenty of metered parking - so finding a spot usually isn't bad. Definitely coming back for more!

Michael F.

Yelp
Lunch all you can eat is great. Very good sushi and not expensive Plenty of on street parking
google avatar

Matthew B.

Yelp
I went out to celebrate a birthday with a bunch of friends. I tend to shy away from sushi because of a shellfish allergy. They had a great selection of cooked foods for me and it was on the all you can eat menu. My orders were cooked up fast and delicious. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff was very knowledgeable and kind. Will definitely eat here again!
google avatar

Joseph L.

Yelp
Went for all you can eat dinner and loved it - definitely my favorite place for AYCE Japanese food in the Boston area! The service was very efficient, and all the food was awesome! We ordered a lot of sashimi and rolls (my favorites were the Crazy and Dragon rolls) as well as some side dishes including edamame, seaweed salad, and salmon salad. Would recommend this place for those looking for a very filling and yummy dinner - definitely coming back!
google avatar

H S.

Yelp
I have eaten at AYCE sushi places that were good quality but this is not one of them. Sushi was subpar and mostly rice. Udon was flavorless with just tiny overcooked scraps of beef and vegetables. Tempura was pathetic. Crabstick instead of crab. Gyoza were deep fried instead of seared on the bottom. They're just going through the motions of making Japanese food. Like going to White Castle for a burger. In this price range, better off at places like Hanami, Ittoku, Ebi, Daikanyama etc.
google avatar

L P.

Yelp
I've been coming to Nijiya for around 6 years now. And I continue to bring people there whenever I can. I've personally introduced at least 6 different family/friend groups to Nijiya and talked about it with far more. The place can get packed, so be aware if you go during usual high-traffic times, such as weekends, nights, and holidays. The restaurant doesn't have its own designated parking lot, so you may have to park and walk a bit, especially if you don't want to pay for parking, but you can usually find a spot without much hassle. Everything is made-to-order, so if it's busier, you may have to wait a little bit. However, the wait is beyond worth it. If you pay in cash, then you get a $2 price discount per person. I don't have a favorite roll, but I do love the Back Draft, Niji Ya, Red Sox, Torched Salmon, Spicy Salmon Hand Roll, and the sashimi. Btw, it is worth paying the dinner price at lunch time to get the special rolls.
google avatar

Adina S.

Yelp
I came back to Nijiya Sushi after about a year, and it was just as solid as I remembered. If you're looking for All You Can Eat sushi, you really can't go wrong here. We went for a late lunch and it wasn't too busy, so the service was pretty fast. I like how they come around with more cards for you to fill out for your next rounds of food, before you're even done with the current one. Continuous supply of sushi! The kitchen items are standard, but I didn't want to fill up too much. Let's be honest, the sushi itself is solid, but not top tier. I didn't have any issues with the quality of the fish. You're here for the value, not to enjoy the best sushi in Boston. The decor is a bit dated and it's not exactly a vibey spot, but it's a great place to chow down. If you appreciate it for what it is, this is a great spot... I'll be back!
google avatar

Naomi L.

Yelp
This place has one of the better all you can eat sushi in the area. The service is attentive and there is ample seating. There are a lot of rolls and options, which end up tasting all pretty similar. Also remember to pace yourself because they charge for uneaten food.
google avatar

Tessa L.

Yelp
Not bad for ayce sushi. In terms of ranking of other ayce sushi places, I'd say this is not as good as Maki Maki, but about the same as Yamato I/Yamato II. $28 for lunch that doesn't include special rolls or sashimi. Service wasn't the greatest. They didn't give us the right amount of nigiri we ordered and there were long delays in our plates coming out. Food was not super freshly made either - some of the tempura was soggy in the rolls. However, I will say that the white tuna sushi was good. Would recommend. Interior of the place seems a little old and it was a bit humid inside. We had arrived right when the restaurant opened so I wonder if they hadn't had the air on long enough for the place to cool down a bit. Plenty of street parking around that area, but no parking lot.
google avatar

Dana S.

Yelp
I have to say that when we got here at 6:30 on a Saturday, there were only a few tables that had people in them. We have never been here before, and just seeing that at a busy time of the night scared us a little. But we stayed. The gentleman who waited on us was very sweet and very attentive. In fact, all the staff help you when you're there. Kind of like a giant effort. And I liked that. They give you the menu. If you don't want all you can eat. If you want to use the all-you-can-eat, they give you paper to fill out what you want. Don't be greedy! Filling out the form looks a lot less than what it does. When the food arrives on your plates lol. The sushi was fresh and flavorful. I like that they had hand rolls. Most all you can eat sushi places do not. And they're shumai? Probably the best we've ever had. It was crispy on the outside. Not sure how that happens, but it tasted amazing. And to be honest? I don't even like semi, but I usually try it every place just to see if someday I might like it. Today I liked it. By the time we left? There was a line out the door. They take very large groups as well. If you need to. With reservations.

Rachel R.

Yelp
Recently went back with my bf for dinner and, sad to say, it's not like I remember. Since I last went, they've removed a couple of items off their menu, most notably the white tuna. The place is still packed as usual so I guess that's a good sign.
google avatar

Miranda G.

Yelp
Came here for their AYCE sushi lunch. There's limited items unless you want to pay the dinner price. All the items came out in reasonable portions, but it can be hard to try lots of different items unless you come with multiple people. The service was good and quick and the price for weekend AYCE lunch is great.

Yelp

Yelp
Nice all you can eat sushi for its price. I love the white tuna especially, and the sashimi pieces are nicely thickly cut which can reflect its texture. However, just don't have high expectations for the hot dishes. The tempura has thick layer of dough and the takoyaki looks like those frozen ones sold in the supermarket.

Yelp
Ambiance - basic no frills you get what you pay for. Service - pretty fast and again no frills, the way I like it Food - for all you can eat, there's a good variety. Some rolls are gonna have filler, but I thought the rolls offered were pretty fair, a good amount of avocado, fish, flakes, etc. 4/5 would recommend if you're nearby.

Yelp
Great all you can eat sushi! All the classics executed really well. The nigiri is especially great, so I always try to make my meal more nigiri centric. The salmon and white tuna nigiri especially just melt in your mouth. Service is nice, not super fast but that's understandable since they have so much to make. Ambiance is nice--it's clearly a very popular spot so you'll see lots of different kinds of groups enjoying the vibe. By far one of my favorite restaurants in the area!

Yelp
Great service, always promptly seated, and really fresh sushi. They have a great assortment of all you can eat at an affordable price as well as a full menu if you wanted something else. Wonderful place to take friends, family or a date.

Yelp
Greatest quality for value! Better than Yamato I think, there's less rice per roll and fish feels fresher / the space feels less chaotic and cleaner. Rolls were bountifully filled, except for the eel rolls, which is my favorite. Last time I cake I remember loving the Nijiya maki as there was crab on top but I think it changed to escolar.

Yelp
We usually order sushi from here to go since we live not far away. We never had any concerns. But we went to the actual restaurant with kids this week. They had a special with the ability to order unlimited sushi for the set price. Since we were with kids who don't eat sushi we could not use the special. So we ordered from regular menu. The standard sushi were great. The specialty rolls were not for what I've expected. The size was small and the taste was mediocre.

Yelp
2nd time being here and it will be my last. The rice had so much vinegar in it you could barely taste the fish and the tuna was very chewy. In addition, they say they charge $2 dollars extra on the weekends, but I got there at 1:30 and they charged the dinner price +$2.

Yelp
Love this place. Cindy served our table both days I was there. She was very nice and as attentive as she could be considering how busy they can get. This is one of my goto places for sushi when I'm in the area. I love ordering sashimi and the sushi rice is solid.

Yelp
Sushi super tasty quick service, friendly staff. But the important part the all you can eat menu is large and it's all very very good, will be back

Yelp
Came around 6 on a Saturday, had to wait for around 15 minutes for a table. The sashimi was really small, and I didn't think it was that fresh. The rolls were good, and they came out super quickly. The kitchen food, like the tempura and soup noodles, were not very good or flavorful. The miso soup had no taste. I think it was $31.99 per person, which is a bit expensive. I don't think I would come back. I've had much better all you can eat sushi elsewhere.

Yelp
Decent amount of varieties for AYCE. They have good amount of selections for rolls (cooked and raw), sashimi and appetizers. We had one person in our group that doesn't eat raw and she still had plenty to choose from. The sashimi were all very fresh (we got salmon, tuna, white tuna, surf clam). One of my favorites are ikura sushi, these were good and they didn't make it too big so you're able to eat them in one bite. Spicy salmon handrolls are also one of my favorites but this was a bit disappointing here. Besides the rice, everything else didn't taste that fresh. Servers were very friendly, and tried to be as attentive as they can as they looked like they were short staff. There are plenty of metered street parking in front and nearby.

Yelp
My new favorite AYCE sushi near Boston! I frequently crave sushi and this is one of the go-tos. - Great price point for what you get - $32 for a weekend dinner. - Includes AYCE sashimi!! the valueeee - Great fish to rice ratio in rolls, and fish is fresh - their salmon shioyaki appetizer is delicious *Tip - bring cash for a discount

Yelp
This is my favorite AYCE sushi in the Boston area! Is the fish super duper right out of the ocean fresh? No... but to me, that's to be expected for any AYCE spot. You don't go for quality, you go for quantity! So if you're ok with that mindset, then I definitely recommend coming here. There's a great variety of rolls, sushi, sashimi and appetizers (mm unlimited seaweed salad? yes, please!). And the rolls don't come overstuffed with rice, which is critical. It can get pretty busy on weekends, but once you're seated the service is pretty fast.
