I recently stayed at Nikki Beach Hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected, especially considering the quality of the villa.
First, when we arrived, our villa wasn't ready until 5 PM. Especially that we insisted upon booking on a certain location. We were promised a late check-out in light of this delay, which felt like a small consolation. However, the real issues arose in the villa itself. Upon entering, we discovered that it was infested with ants. It was unsettling to find these pests crawling around, especially in such a purportedly luxurious setting. To make matters worse, I was startled to see lizards scampering around the living room. It was clear that pest control had not been a priority, and I found it unacceptable given the high cost of staying in a villa.
I tried to bring these concerns to the attention of the staff, hoping for some understanding or at least a gesture of goodwill. However, I was met with indifference. It was disheartening to feel like my disappointment was brushed aside. Customer service seemed to be lacking, and it felt like there was little effort on their part to make things right, especially as we approached check-out.
I believe that when you're paying a premium to stay in such a place, you should expect a certain level of attention and care. It's frustrating to leave feeling disappointed rather than rejuvenated.
In conclusion, I can’t recommend Nikki Beach Hotel based on my experience. The lack of cleanliness, pest issues, and poor customer service were unacceptable. I hope they address these problems, as it could be a wonderful place if they did.
