My husband and I stopped by Nikki Teriyaki for the first time after spending hours walking around Pike Market place. We were staying at the hotel next door and looking for something quick and close. Asian cuisine sounded good, and this spot seemed convenient. It was around 7 PM when we arrived, and the place wasn’t busy at all. The restaurant has clearly weathered some years. Nothing fancy, but relatively clean. The woman at the counter greeted us after helping another customer. Her demeanor was dry and expressionless, not exactly a warm welcome, but we greeted her with a smile anyway. We ordered chicken teriyaki with rice and gyoza and just chicken teriyaki with white rice but no gyoza. The food was ready in under 10 minutes, and we took it back to our hotel to eat. The portion sizes were generous. I had enough leftover for the next day. There was extra sauce in our platters, which we didn’t mind. Overall, the food was fine, not outstanding, but decent for a quick, no-frills meal near the hotel.

Google
One of my go-to spots for teriyaki—super solid every time. The chicken is always cooked just right, sauce is bomb, and the portions are big. It’s a small family-run place and they’re always super nice. Feels low-key but in the best way. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re craving something comforting and tasty.

Google
Done right, fast, affordable, and simple. What more do you need from a teriyaki joint in America?

We check in at Hampton Inn. We're very happy about 5 restaurants from different cuisine that was walking distance. First time to eat here despite some reviews with 1 star. We decided to try. We like it. Specifically, the salad that comes with it. It's ok. Good customer service, she was very helpful. I know the ambiance was a bit sad, but it tastes good.

Google
Busy place during lunch. But they crank out orders very quickly, usually well within minutes. The dining room is cramped. Most of the time you need to excuse yourself to squeeze by other guests. Tables and chairs are old with cracked and peeling covers. Not particularly clean; not neat for sure. Service attitude is not terrible, but not great either. Spicy chicken is one of the favorites on the menu. Portion size is pretty generous. I will never order the veggie fried rice ever again. It’s pretty much all rice with a sparse of frozen peas and carrots. Very disappointed.

Google
Their sparerib is mid.. but man combo fried rice?! It has their chicken from the terayaki, the beef in theres is pretty much their spare ribs, the pork is good as well, variety of veggies some u dont usually see in fried rice but it works great! So much favor and varieties of meat and veggies. And i go in and order and its ready like in 5 mins! This is dish is quality fast food! Im usually ok with any fried rice I get from asian restaurants but I keep coming back to this one, feels like good value too! Enjoy!

Google
Just nasty nasty food here at Nikko does anybody bother to read reviews. I normally do but this time saw so many people at lunch time thought hmmm cannot be that bad... TRUST ME was that BAD! Fried Rice was cold, the Chicken and Beef Combo the meat just did not taste right not sure may been old old sat out to long but man, it was not worth it. Waste of money, go next door to the BBQ I have had them couple times for your money its well worth it You been warned

Google
Disappointed. The yakisoba tastes different flavor than pretty much all other yakisoba ive had--very salty. More importantly the menu says the chicken yakisoba has "vegetables" but this ALL cabbage (and a single broccoli floret, with a few carrot shavings). Now, i like cabbage but this should have far more carrot and/or broccoli, some mushroom and/or onion, perhaps... especially if you describe it as having "vegetableS". The chicken teriyaki is fine but the chicken has no flavor without the teriyaki sauce. The establishment is clean and the staff is nice. Food came quickly and quality is good. Originally 2-stars but they get another for correcting my order by adding some veggies when i requested. And the broccoli and carrots they gave me were EXCELLENT. Also, not a fan of styrofoam containers when dining in. Still, not sure i would recommend.

Yelp
Not sure what the bad hype is on their Kalbi teriyaki beef? I just had them yesterday and they were tasty, meaty, soft, generous amount. The salad dressing is what I enjoyed, very tasty. Moving here from the Aloha State, (1.5 years) the big 5-0, I miss my island Oahu, I was on a mission. Been to Nikko Teriyaki twice and both times not disappointed. It brought my palate back home, I will definitely be eating there a lot, customer service lady always nice, you must say "Arigato", she will smile. It's a little strip mall next to other eating places. Convenient for my husband and I as it's a great place to stop for lunch after playing tennis at the Boeing Tennis Center, you get very hungry after playing. Lol My next order today will be the Yakisoba noodles....stay tuned! Aloha ;) Maybe customers who are not familiar with the type of teriyaki food will not enjoy it. Try the others and Yelp.

Yelp
Wow where to start. Thanks for coming in sick counter lady. Ordered beef n broccoli and it was more like beef jerky n broccoli. Oh and let me pay the most I've ever paid for it also at $20 for food and a watered down fountain drink. Thanks but yeah will never go there again.

Yelp
Continuing my tour to find a new teriyaki go to spot in Kent. Couldn't order my usual lunch special (white meat teriyaki and an egg roll) because they only offer one lunch special per day which rotates. Why? I don't know. Like other reviews have mentioned, no sauce on the tables for some odd reason. Also, they treat teriyaki sauce and salad dressing like there is a limited supply that is running out soon. Chicken was cooked well. Can we talk about the egg rolls? Who cuts an egg roll lengthwise?! Service was fast but one of the ladies was staring at me every time I looked up. Very odd. The interior needs an upgrade, starting with the chairs which are all worn. Table was not sticky but not clean, either.

Yelp
I'm a fan of this teriyaki. Very fast casual spot for lunch or quick serve. For that I recommend.
google avatar

Rogelio A.

Yelp
Service was low as if they didn't want to work at their own establishment. Ordered chicken teriyaki and the chicken was cut poorly. Going to BBQ Pete's from now on

Yelp
The food and service was amazing. I highly recommend Nikko's Teriyaki for anyone who is looking for good teriyaki.

Michael W.

Yelp
I ordered teriyaki chicken and katsu combo , I wasn't very impressed with it the katsu lacked flavor . It tasted like bad fried chicken and the teriyaki chicken was more like grilled chicken with out sauce and the rice was mushy, but the service was friendly and fast . The restaurant itself was generic there wasn't much to look at .

Yelp
I'll start by saying I don't understand the 3/5 star rating for this place - their teriyaki is great and the portions are standard! Our old go-to teriyaki place is under new ownership so we decided to try our Nikko's. We love the other restaurants in this strip mall so had hopes they would deliver, and they did! The chicken teriyaki is nice and charred, and they give you plenty of sauce. The salad is typical for a teriyaki joint and the dressing was great. You really can't ask for more! We were pretty content with our meal. Looking forward to coming back here as a new regular.

James L.

Yelp
They have by far my favorite spicy chicken teriyaki I've tried. Definitely try it out while you're here!!
google avatar

Amy W.

Yelp
Not a fan of the regular chicken teriyaki but their house fried rice and house yakisoba are very very good!
google avatar

Yelp
Great lunch service for one or catering for your whole team. Never had something I didn't like from here and I think I've tried them all

Yelp
We decided to order dinner tonight from Nikko Teriyaki, and have Door Dash deliver. (A bit of a treat for us , since everywhere has gotten so expensive anymore!) My husband and son ordered the spicy chicken, which was very tasty , quality chicken meat and is always a pretty large amount of food! Definitely a first choice! My other son ordered chicken Katsu, which was also pretty good, and I ordered the Honey sesame chicken. We all got our dinners, ready to sit down and have dinner together. I could not believe it when I opened mine! Really surprised and disappointed to say the least! I don't know how they could have gotten it SO wrong?!! It's almost comical it's so bad! Our bill was over $100, which isn't terrible I suppose for 4 people anymore, but still a lot to not get what was ordered. I don't think we'll be ordering from them anymore. We've enjoyed many meals from this restaurant, so it's too bad. I plan on contacting them tomorrow and hoping they will make it right.
google avatar

Yelp
Always delicious, always consistent! I generally get the Bento #1 and I'm always satisfied with it. I like that the to-go orders have all the sauces separate, as I don't even tend to use them. The chicken is always tasty with a nice grill, and I love the way the gyoza come out. Flavorful with a little crisp to the skin. Even the egg rolls are what they're supposed to be, rather than a peppery disaster like some places. Honestly I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about. I've been eating here for 4 or 5 years now, and I'm always happy with my food!

Yelp
Awesome Peeps. Always ready, hot, clean, easy, and everything tastes great to me. Hot or Cold Yum Yum
google avatar

Adrees H.

Yelp
Solid teriyaki place not best but good enough, there chickens some times comes very chewey but egg rolls and and salads are good with awesome and friendly customer service
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
Always friendly, you can call ahead, and love the Teryaki as not a lot of sauce. I have been going when I need a teriyaki fix for some time, but I was pretty impressed they took the COVID precautions seriously. Their door has a sign.. take away only, and their chairs and tables pushed away, and a plexi glass to protect them. When I called ahead, they didn't know I was a regular and ensured I knew where they were located. They always have it ready by the time I arrive. So friendly !

Yelp
Authentic and fast teriyaki. All the usual dishes well-prepared and well-priced. This neighborhood place is where I turn to for a quick lunch bowl or a filling dinner. Portions are very generous. Mostly carry out but a few tables available. Excellent gyoza, chicken teriyaki and more.

Mykala G.

Yelp
Service was good but food was not, lacked flavor, and there was no sauces or spices out at all, but portion size was decent. The place could maybe use a little revamp, the chairs are worn out and the tables are kept even by something under the leg.
google avatar

Shaniece P.

Yelp
We always order the spicy teriyaki and it's always hot and fresh! A little pricey though imo. Nevertheless It's still one of my favorite teriyaki spots in the area.
google avatar

Martha L.

Yelp
I really liked their teriyaki. I ordered it from door dash and the food was warm and the combo meals come with a drink. I would order from here again!
google avatar

Brandon F.

Yelp
Ordered here before and the food was good. This time I ordered on Yelp and my food came delivered soggy and luke warm. Won't give me a refund nor will they replace the order. I don't want my money back just want a better plate like the other times. Grub hub issued a refund now thanks Grub hub. Stay away from this place horrible.
google avatar

Coby P.

Yelp
I took my son here today for lunch. I had The Spicy Teriyaki Chicken all rice and my son had the Chicken Teriyaki all rice. Large portions that taste great. A little pricey but worth it.
google avatar

Chris J.

Yelp
I can't put my finger on the sauce. It's like they add a cinnamon or nutmeg to it? It just doesn't mix well with my tastebuds. I tried to like it, but my brain kept worrying me since I couldn't identify the spice. I wasn't even able to finish it. The chicken was good, but that sauce just didn't jive well on it. Maybe a mix of ginger, cinnamon, or nutmeg? The goyza was good, and so was the salad. This is why I gave it 3 stars, mainly due to the fact I couldn't seem to grasp my tastebuds to like it. If you like that kind of spice, then you should enjoy it though! I prefer my cinnamon and nutmeg in a frosty glass on top of egg nog!

Oscar L.

Yelp
They were cheap on the Sauce .... i usually eat my teriyaki with a lot of teriyaki sauce and hot sauce paid a dollar for one extra hot sauce
google avatar

Yelp
me and my boyfriend tried this place out this weekend. & i'm not a teriyaki fan but he convinced me to go. we ordered ahead and picked up. when we got home everything looked great. we both only ate abt half. by the end of the day i was vomiting. i couldn't hold water down. then the next day my boyfriend got really sick and he threw up everything he ate that day and then the chicken and rice teriyaki! we both still feel icky but the nausea has past. definitely would not recommend. i got the chicken teriyaki and fried rice and he got the same thing w steamed rice
google avatar

Kristina M.

Yelp
I just went here for lunch today because Saimin Says was closed. I wanted to try something other than teriyaki, so I foolishly ordered vegetable ramen. I'm 99% sure they served me packaged ramen. It was only about $6, the noodles were the same, it tasted the same, so I put two and two together... And yeah. Look at the picture provided. When I was dining I was never served water. This place is weird and I will not be returning.
google avatar

Rummy G.

Yelp
Just okay teriyaki, nothing special. Ordered the chicken breast teriyaki, super dry and not sauced, a bit dissolved!
google avatar

Natasha H.

Yelp
I placed my take-out order near closing time using the Eat24 app, so I was worried they wouldn't fulfill it, but when I walked in at 7:50, my food was hot and ready for me at the counter! We ordered chicken teriyaki, pork teriyaki and gyoza, and all of it was Delicious! They have a very unique teriyaki sauce that has cinnamon or nutmeg or something in it, and I am HOOKED! The teriyaki comes with a salad, and their dressing is also Top Notch. This place is just around the corner from my house, and it's now our go-to teriyaki spot. Can't wait to make my way through the rest of the menu!

Josh C.

Yelp
Best Teriyaki I have had so far and I've tried about 10 places in the last year in Seattle and surrounding areas. This is my go to now when I want teriyaki!
google avatar

Kelly G.

Yelp
SPICY CHICKEN TERIYAKI IS TO DIE FOR! I found out about this place 3 weeks ago when my co-worker was buying food for the office. Everyone raved about the Spicy Chicken so I gave it a try and ordered it. My goodness - I fell in love. Within 3 weeks, I have eaten the Spicy Chicken at Nikko's 5 times already. I have spicy chicken teriyaki at other places before, but all of their sauces are made completely different. Yesterday, I tried CHICKEN YAKISOBA and asked the waitress to make it SPICY - it was also amazing! I will be trying the Spicy Beef next for sure.
google avatar

Caleb H.

Yelp
Think of this place like a Panda Express with bigger portions, but lower quality ingredients. It's okay if you're looking for a quick lunch around the area. If you're looking for great tasting, high quality Japanese food, go elsewhere.

Yelp
Nikko Teriyaki is located in the middle of all the restaurants on that strip by the Boeing in Kent. Their menu is pretty extensive ranging from just teriyaki, to their teriyaki combos, bento boxes, yaki soba, salads, fried rice, and Chinese dishes. The interior like most teriyaki places are not so up to date. That's alright- it's all about the food! My first experience, I got their beef teriyaki, which also comes with salad and rice. The beef teriyaki was quite tasty, but I think they over did it with the teriyaki sauce that was poured on top. I understand that some people like a very very generous amount of teriyaki sauce, but I didn't want too much. Eventually it gets too sweet to eat. If anything, I'd suggest to have the extra teriyaki sauce on the side. The second visit, I ordered their chicken teriyaki with gyoza. The gyoza was good. Fried nicely with sauce to compliment it. The chicken was just alright. I tasted no flavor on the chicken. It was just smothered with teriyaki sauce.

K W.

Yelp
We love Nikko Teriyaki! The food is always excellent and everything is so flavorful! The Chicken Katsu is always a good choice! Their yakisoba and stir fry's are also very good! Highly recommend this restaurant
google avatar

Mark C.

Yelp
Great experience. Walked in and was told no rush, take your time to order from the cashier. I made my selection and had the chicken yakisoba. The food came out in a reasonable time and tasted great.

Amy D.

Yelp
Spicy chicken teriyaki was really good. Their chicken was tender and moist unlike some other teriyaki places. I will definitely be back.
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
This is literally the best chicken teriyaki I have ever had. The gyoza is fabulous too! Oh and don't even get me started on the spicy chicken teriyaki. The chicken is juicy and fresh! Turn around time is quick and they are very helpful recommending things.

Lee B.

Yelp
I went to this restaurant last week and ordered chicken yakisoba. The waitress brought me a plate of chicken teriyaki instead. I told her I did not order it, but she firmly insisted "You ordered teriyaki." I did not, I told her. (I don't even care for teriyaki, but I do love yakisoba). She insisted. I went to the counter to plead my case, but both women stared fixedly at me and stated "No, you ordered teriyaki." It was awful. I told them "I'm so disappointed! I asked for yakisoba!" the waitress just turned her back on me and left. I'd had a difficult week and didn't want to fight about it, so I ate it. It was not good, and it was NOT WHAT I ORDERED. In retrospect I should have asked for my money back... But I just wanted a quiet table with the item I'd ordered. I felt humiliated, disregarded..I will never, ever return to this place. NEVER. It was a truly horrible experience.
google avatar

Anya S.

Yelp
Worst teriyaki place ever, expensive and food is horrible. Yakisoba tasted like it had ketchup and broccoli beef was dry
google avatar

G. Lynn S.

Yelp
I finally found a teriyaki place to eat in Kent. I had the bento box #1 which a bit of everything. The chicken teriyaki was good. The sauce wasn't overly sweet or salty. The gyozas were perfectly cooked. The salad was average as most teryiaki joints go. The Shrimp tempura was mediocre at best. I was surprised when I order their kimichi and they said they didn't have any. You shouldn't have a poster on your wall saying "Now Serving Kimchi". I would defiantly come back to try the rest of the menu out.
google avatar

Lisa G.

Yelp
While it was fast service, I see why it's fast. Instead of calling it prawn, call it cocktail shrimp. These things are tiny, rubbery and not at all a prawn. Just say baby shrimp so the expectation is set. Oh and smile be a little more friendly.
google avatar

Emily J.

Yelp
Yummy...just yummy. I got the H4 bento box. The miso soup was good, I love miso. I loved the fresh green onions and tofu. Hubby got the T100 plate. Chicken katsu. It was really good. My salmon was amazing. We were not dissaponted. Service was friendly and quick. But I have to say the sauce on the table in the squeeze bottle was amazing. Ginger, honey teryaki. We have to return on a Wednesday night for Katsu Curry. But we loved everything about our meals. Prices were excellent. After I try the curry I will update review.
google avatar

Hunter O.

Yelp
good food fair price.. nice people have eatten here a few times now and i will go back soon
google avatar

Clayton J.

Yelp
Wow! These reviews are either fake, or fans of this place have the taste buds of a homeless person. I came here solely on the reviews and regretted it. There was nothing special about this place at all and it was expensive for Teriyaki. Listen, you're not going to get sick and you won't spit it out, but literally any other place would please your pallet more.
google avatar

Gena M.

Yelp
The salad was pretty good, not quite as amazing as most teriyaki places. The sauce was thick which is unique but made it hard to pour over the food. I have had some amazing tofu teriyaki in the past and have found it pretty hard to find at the majority of teriyaki joints. SO obviously when I saw they had tofu I HAD to try it! Sadly I was very disappointed. They cut the tofu into pieces and deep fried it! Not just pan fried or lightly fried but super crunchy dark brown deep fried icky-ness. Coupled with the balls of rice and suuuuuper thick sauce, I did not enjoy this meal and felt pretty gross from all the deep fried oily-ness for the rest of the day. I was pretty bummed because of the good reviews and a number of other things on the menu that looked good. However, after that experience, I will not be wasting my money there again.
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
They have the best Beef Teriyaki that I have ever had! The owners are nice and it's very clean for a little hole in the wall.
google avatar

Gavin C.

Yelp
I come here often since this place is conveniently right by work. This place is always busy and the food is consistently delicious. I've had several things off the menu, so order what you like and you'll be pleased. The only negative I can say, is when you order to go, they charge like .35 cents for extra sauce. To me that punishing the people taking food to go. Other than that. This place is legit.

Steven P.

Yelp
Over priced food , that isn't even good . Don't go here if your looking for some good teriyaki. Smell bad when you walk in . I wound mind paying 15 for teriyaki of it was good . Food was nasty . Worst teriyaki stop in Kent
google avatar

Crystal S.

Yelp
My husband went here a few weeks ago and got lunch while he was out working. He was starving and we LOVE terriyaki. We have both always said it's hard to screw up, so we will order from it from just about any teriyaki place. But I guess I need to start reading FB reviews on places and Yelp reviews. Because this place should not be serving food. He ordered the chicken and beef teriyaki. He said it was awful. It tasted foul and was the WORST teriyaki he had EVER had. I don't know how you mess up grilled meat in teriyaki sauce. But these guys did! Maybe they were having an off day I don't know. But he said he only ate like 3 or 4 bites and literally threw it away. He ended up going hungry until he got home late! Cause he drives truck! So by the time he made it home for dinner he was starving. If it's that bad tasting, off day or not I doubt either of us will he back. So beware you've been warned and good luck. I would honestly give these guys no stars or a half star if I could but Yelp won't let me give them less than one and I even feel that's more than they deserve!
