Niko's Gyros Beacon Hill

The food was alright but pricey for what you get. The salad was fresh. I was hoping there would be more meat given the $6.50 upcharge. The staff is really nice and chill. Ordering and picking up online was quick and easy. There were no utensils in the bag even though they were requested.

Let’s take Medi food for what it’s worth… its taste, its healthiness and its affordability.. Niko’s found the golden 3 as far as I’m concerned. My family and I were the only one ones dining in at 2pm so I believe, naturally, we were given 5 star treatment. Customer service is top notch as the receptionist took care of us pronto. Our food orders (we were 3 adults at that time) came out instantly and we enjoyed the ambiance and music this place had to offer. Parking was a bit challenging as it was only street parking.. Greatly recommend this place!

Got a combo meal that doesn't include a drink (I was told this after purchasing the meal) for a grand total of $22 Included was a gyro, fries, and a salad. The food was decent but not comparable to some other spots in seattle. The price is also higher than its competitors. I can only recommend Nikos to people that have the money and are dying for a gyro, other than that I'd say you'll find more value and taste in many other establishments

Pretty disappointed with this place. Gyros had 3 preformed pieces of meat as mentioned in other reviews, and no lettuce. Greek fries as pictured had barely any topping, basically just regular fries. Not bad tasting but there are way better gyro places in Seattle.

Had the roast lamb gyro because I haven't seen it at any other place before. I was the only customer at 5pm on a Wednesday. The order came out quickly. Food and portion were good. As I was leaving, I noticed that there was a specials menu for the day. Didn't see it on my way in, otherwise I would have tried one of the specials. I will have to go back.

I ordered the chicken gyro plate as takeout. It came with fries and a side salad. Star was lost because the sandwich was too wet and chicken was not marinated in advance. The fries were crispy and they were sprinkled with cheese, a very nice surprise. The veggies were all fresh and the dressing delicious. Definitely place to procure a quick lunch.

I had been meaning to visit Niko’s Gyros for quite some time and finally did so during the Seattle Restaurant Week. I called in an order for two gyros, Greek fries, and a cup of the avgolemono soup to go. The young lady working the counter was very friendly and a joy to talk to and was very helpful in describing the different Restaurant Week options for lunch. Everything I had was delicious. The avgolemono soup had a nice puree of chicken and lemon and the grains of rice were a nice texture in the soup. The flavor was bright and savory. Overall, the gyros were my favorite part of the meal. I ordered a chicken and a lamb leg gyro. They said they had three options for the lamb – a beef/lamb mix, lamb leg – chunks of lamb, and slices of lamb. The chicken was cut up in large cubes and full of flavor along with the tomatoes, red onions, and sauce. The lamb chunks were just a delicious with a nice char on them as well. I really enjoyed the food at Niko’s Gyros and will need to return soon!

First I want to share I love the food, little restaurant environment and staff - well until tonight. I live close by and have 2 to 3 meals at Nikos wkly. Food soooo good. Staff just amazing. And for me it is just 2 blocks away and a nice place to eat good food. Let me share about tonight, it was poor service from the women at the cashier from the start to the finish. First I ordered my meal and attempted to pay cash however, they had already closed the till, this is just after 7:30pm likely a little later than that. So I shared no problem and attempted to pay with credit card then informed I would need to pay in cash due to the order already being placed. No problem. Order was placed as a sit in and I sat down. My salad arrived at light speed by a very nice man, with a big happy smile. Then he brought me the rest of my meal. I had informed the new girl I want to salad and fry's to go but it was over looked but I was okay with that. At 7:50 or so, likely earlier than that the seemingly more experience cashier informed me they needed to start preparing to close needing to put the chairs up on the tables around me. I indicated I understood however becoming a little irritated with the service I was receiving by this cashier. Letting it roll of my shoulder I continued with my meal. At maybe 7:55 the same staff member informed me they close at 8pm, with my mouth full of food I nodded again indicating I understood. At 7:59 and that is accurate because I was looking at my phone the same time the cashier informed me they were closing and gave me a look that made me feel like I was trespassing-seriously, I felt uncomfortable and was feeling sorry she had little compassion and patients that goes with the line of work she is working. I had only a few bites of my meal left at that very moment. I finished up like a private in basic training, promptly put my dishes and recycling in their place and made my way to the door. As I was leaving I expressed gratitude to the cashier that had seemly ruined my dinner, by sharing with her "thank you for ruining the last of my meal". I will continue to visit Nikos, I love that place however, if she is there I will do an about face and take my business next door or down the street. Kristi Gibson
