The food and meat quality was very good, I like how the meat portions weren’t too much so I was able to try a lot of different items on their menu. The atmosphere was very nice and our waitress Winnie gave us amazing suggestions! Very good service.

The dining experience this time was great. The meats were all very fresh, and the grill was automatically replaced by the staff from time to time. The service was excellent — all the staff were very friendly, and the junior manager also came by occasionally to ask for my feedback. He even gave me tips on how to grill the food properly. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience.

Great new Japanese BBQ spot in Flushing! The place is clean and spacious, with a cozy atmosphere for groups. Lots of fresh meat options and side dishes — everything tasted great. Staff were very friendly and quick with service, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a nice spot for BBQ with friends or family!

This is our second visit here. Our second visit here, our server Angel was amazing! She was very attentive, changing the grill so its not burning, helped us cook even though its yakiniku style. The beer draft had a problem, but after it was fixed, still ask if we still wanted. Made sure the drinks were never empty. As someone who works in the industry as well, was very impressed with her. Made the whole dining for me and the family very enjoyable. Great food and great service!

This place is still in its soft opening phase, but I already highly recommend it especially for meat lovers! Every cut of meat we tried was top quality. The atmosphere was great, and surprisingly, there was no smoky smell at all, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The service was also excellent. Our server today was Vin, and he had such amazing energy it really added to the whole experience for us.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the most distinctive Japanese BBQ spots in Flushing. The atmosphere shows a deep understanding of traditional Japanese design — elegant, calm, and refined. From the warm welcome at the entrance to the attentive service throughout the meal, the experience stands out compared to many similar restaurants. The beef quality is exceptional. You can tell just by the marbling — rich, high-grade cuts that are handled with care. I don’t eat other types of meat, so I can’t comment on those, but the beef alone is worth the visit. One unique highlight was the beef served in a jar — creative and delicious. Another pleasant surprise was the dessert at the end, which added a thoughtful touch to the whole experience. What amazed me most: no lingering BBQ smell on clothes afterward. Just a delicate, savory aroma that made the meal feel even more refined. Highly recommend for beef lovers — I’ll definitely be coming back.

Nikushou Sakai offers a rare pause admist the bustling city. They intentionally slow down the grilling time so everyone can appreciate the crafted selection of aged meat, the moment, and the time with your family and friends. While the grill is slow, the service and the food are fast. You can select up to 20 dishes on the iPad, before sending it to the kitchen. The foods are carefully selected and prepared for you. Not only that, but with small, bite-size portions, this place is ideal for those who wants to try a bit of everything. This seems perfect for my friends and I. We ordered practically one of everything, then repeat the dishes we loved for a second (and third round). You do have to cook your own meat, although a server may stop by to help out. They do frequently come around to chamge the grill cover and check in on the table. They also come around with a last call, twenty minutes before your time is up, so you do not need a designated time keeper at your table. While grilling and chatting, feel free to look around and try to spot the labubu scattered around. Although, I doubt you can take them.

Great beef and pork, a nice atmosphere, and awesome waitresses. You only get 90 minutes to eat all you can. If you want to get your fill, you gotta order a bunch of plates at once.
