Nine Cakes

Nine Cakes made the most beautiful wedding cake for us. We were initially unsure of the cake design we wanted, as we liked many designs so in the end we just told them our vision and asked them to make it a surprise for us. We didn’t see the cake until our wedding reception and wow, it was beautiful, and they really did deliver! On top of the cake looking good, it tasted so delicious that our guests gave so many compliments and kept asking what flavor we got (Hazelnut). Communication was fantastic; Betsy and Jess were very responsive. We highly recommend Nine Cakes for wedding cake needs!

They made the perfect cake for our wedding. The flavors were so creative and amazingly tasty. They made the color and sugar flower to match with our wedding invitation and floral decor for the day of our wedding. It was the best cake we've tried and we highly recommend anyone to choose Nine Cakes. They were communicative throughout the process, and everyone was extremely friendly to work with.

Blindly ordering a wedding cake from out of state can be a nerve racking experience. But the staff at Nine Cakes were so accommodating and so helpful that it was actually a good experience. The cake was just stunning and from all reports totally delicious. Our daughter and new husband just loved it and it just made them so happy to have such a special cake. And for the parents who couldn't be there - it made us feel so much better. Also important - it was delivered as promised and right on time. And a special shout out to Betsy who brought some light to these otherwise dark time.

Working with Nine Cakes on our wedding was easy, fun, and of course, delicious. They were lovely to coordinate and communicate with and the process was straightforward. The tasting was really cute and helpful, the process of picking our design was fast, and the cake at the wedding turned out beautiful and very very good. Highly recommended.

I may have procrastinated a bit in finding a wedding cake, but it was truly for the best because I found Nine Cakes! They accommodated a very abbreviated timeline (circa 6 plus weeks, not months) and made us the most beautiful and delicious cake. I have never been to wedding where I remembered the wedding cake, mostly towers of gaudy fondant and flowers and chalky cake with overly sweet buttercream. Our strawberry lemonade and chocolate strawberry cake was not only elegant and beautiful but so amazingly delicious that I am still having guests say they are craving it. In full disclosure, I may have eaten some of the leftovers for breakfast the day after the wedding. Nine cakes will be my go to for all cake needs from now on!

Betsy made three cakes for our wedding a few years back. We could not have been more pleased. At the tasting we gave her description of what we hope for based really off no reference points (photos, her cakes, etc..). She managed to produce exactly what we asked for. Being amateur bakers ourselves we can be picky but were blown away by the quality of the cake. Nearly every person raved about the wonderful taste. This was not just great wedding cake ... It was great cake period. It is one of few experiences I have have truly nothing negative to say about. We were thrilled from start to finish. Can not recommend Betsy and Nine cakes enough.
