Excellent service and food quality. Prices are a little high but to be expected in a hotel and on the Plaza. The quality was excellent and service was attentive and prompt. Ambiance needs some improvement. It is a little drab.

For KC Restaurant Week, 901 has a must try menu! Course 1, crab cake is the clear winner. Loved the crunchy outside and the tasty sauce. Lots of crab! Course 2, Surf n Turf was my choice. Melt in the mouth steak, blackened shrimp had perfect spice! The seafood pasta dish looked fabulous with plenty of meat. The salmon dish had a fabulous sauce. Course 3, creme brulee has a layer of vanilla bean on the bottom, which makes it! The chocolate cake was very popular at other tables, and seemed to be the favorite option. We had an attentive server that made our experience complete! I highly recommend trying this menu!

Beautiful place! Wonderful atmosphere. Our server Kelsey C. was super sweet and attentive. I always go with her recommendations. She is super down to earth. We came on our birthdays and she made sure we felt extra special and taken care of. Our birthday desserts were super cute and festive. Just like her! She added the most adorable touches to my mocha latte with caramel drizzle. We love coming here. It’s our new favorite place! 5 star food, service and atmosphere. What more could you ask for?

The chicken tacos at Nine Zero One Tooftop Bar & Lounge were so good! The tacos were made with a crispy flour tortilla, which was very unique in my opinion. For those who are staying at The Fountaine hotel, this rooftop restaurant is a great stop for a meal. I will say that it’s quite difficult to get to justify the meal if you’re not already on the city block. But there are some great views from this seventh floor restaurant. The menu has a wide range of food, all of which looked delicious. Several gluten free options as well. Good service made for an all around enjoyable experience.

we got the Margareta Flat ($16) bread as the appetizer Cheese was kinda chew and came off in chunks and was kinda bland. Flatbread was good and flavorful. Mom got The chicken Alfredo, stated it was a little salty. Maybe a little spicy Dad got some type of shrimp bowl, says it's good I got the steak, cooked well, good potatoes and asparagus Vibe: It did get kinda loud but it's a bar. Good modern music. our server, Kayla, was friendly, prebussed, was attentive overall the time our food was brought out was a little slow but it was pretty good experience

2025 Update: came to 901 for the restaurant week lunch menu! The steak wrap & squash bisque was tantalizing!!! The parm fries were a bit too dry. I don’t use ketchup but had to this time. The Red Kingdom drink was tasty! Just the right amount of sweet. The view is the rooftops of the apartments. Being that it’s on the far side of the Plaza you won’t actually see much of the Plaza, if at all. Our waitress was excellent. The fireplace sets off the environment. You can sit in a cozy booth on the other side of the glass. The igloos were up & out! It is a $150 reserv to book the igloo for up to 8 people. The drinks & food are al a carte. The reservation is refunded. Check these out until March 2025!! Would come back for the igloos & drinks on the way to a night out!! ****************************************** Well isn’t this snazzy?! They igloos on top of the water. Now YOU can walk on water, for one night, for $50, & show friends! They have to pay too 😉 I stopped by to check out the igloos but they weren’t out yet. That was disappointing as I had been waiting since last year to see them. They have log 🪵 cabins now also. One ‘glamping’ exp includes board games, interactive et, & outdoor fireplace. They all offer tasty bites, delicious cocktails, & photo ops! Prices vary to reserve the ‘glamping exp’! Weekday & weekend prices range from $175-$325 (diff cabins hold certain amt of guests - visit their site for more info). Depending on how many people go, you can split that price up & still pay your light bill! These experiences are for 120 mins. On to the igloos! There are options for the weekday or weekend with prices being $150 (2-8 guests) or $175 (2-9 guests). These experiences are decorated in three themes. You can choose small bites from one menu exclusively for the igloos AND cabins. A few treasures in these igloos are festive decor, shot skis 🎿 (only in one), handcrafted cocktails, & photo ops! When you reserve any of these you can choose one complimentary non-alcoholic beverage. Tea or hot cocoa. Everything else you pay for & is not included in the rental fee. The looks of everything at the bar was so cool! If you want to hang out in the bar area, happy hour is from 430p-6p. Plenty of seating whether in the igloos, (that are available through March) around the lower level across from the bar, & plush seating up top by the fireplace! I have been to the restaurant upstairs & it was good food. We were surprised by the petite menu, but what we had satisfied our appetite. Unfortunately the bar was also closed so didn’t get a chance to try any libations or food. So can’t comment on the service or food quality. I have stayed here before & will put all that!…in another review. This is a cool hip spot if you are on the plaza & want to check it out. Chill & have a drink with small bites or check out an igloo!! For more detailed information, go to the Fontaine Hotel Kansas City, MO. The photos of the igloos & log cabins are from their website. Happy Glamping!

The Fontaine hotel is one of my favorite spots to stay at when I'm in the city, and I have been waiting to experience the igloos for about a year. Booked one for my birthday this year. On arrival, Hostesses was a little rude. We arrived 30 minutes early, so we sat in the dining area with a buzzer. Host made it clear it was self-service if we wanted anything. Once inside the igloo, our server explains how the evening will go, and she left and returned quickly because our igloo was dirty. There was food on the floor chairs with crumbs yuck. She apologized and came back to get things cleaned up. Our experience wasn't bad. However, it was a bit of a letdown. I expected better customer service from the host and cleanliness from the restaurant bar. The drinks were good. And I enjoyed the atmosphere once inside the igloo.

This experience is totally worth the cost, don’t get me wrong. The view is amazing and definitely a cool experience. We enjoyed a tent on a surprisingly warm night in December. That being said, it’s not cheap, the service isn’t great, and the food was pretty cold by the time we went into our tent to eat. We had a standard three hour booking. We started arriving at 3:30 and our reservation lasted until 6:30. The food had already been sitting in the tent before we got there, and while the presentation was nice, the cold food was not. The service was adequate, but slow for the cost of reserving one of these spaces. Overall a great experience, but the service and food did not match the cost of the experience.

Yelp
We love love love Nine Zero One! I've now been several different times and each time the service was lovely with the nicest staff and a really beautiful space both inside and out. If I didn't know better, I'd never consider it a hotel restaurant/bar. It's really it's own thing with a sweet little view of Brush Creek and several different options for where you can dine or drink. We've done the igloos and despite some technical difficulties in there, we had a blast and it was worth it. I've had several of their dishes with some of the standouts being the salmon and the CRAB RANGOON NACHOS!!! The drinks are good albeit a little too sweet on some of the cocktails, but they all get the job done. Will return!

Yelp
Loved this place. It's inside the fountain hotel we were staying at. And I love the ambience and the drinks were great too.

Yelp
I snagged a reservation for Nine Zero One just in time for KC Restaurant Week, and I'm so glad I did. They offered a $55 three-course meal, and while cocktails weren't included, I didn't mind. To start, I went with Gingy's Spiked Hot Chocolate. This place is NOT shy with their liquor pours--it was strong, but the vodka worked so well with the gingerbread and hot chocolate flavors. My partner got the Apple Spice and Everything Nice, and it was delicious--like a perfect spiced apple cider! For the first course, I had the crab cake. It was good but nothing mind-blowing. The saffron aioli was a little sweet for my taste; I think a more neutral aioli would've worked better, but overall, no major complaints. My partner had the fried Brussels sprouts, which tasted exactly like you'd expect--crispy and flavorful. For my main course, I went with the salmon. The butternut squash risotto? Absolutely amazing--easily the highlight of the dish. The salmon was cooked fine, but the pesto cream sauce didn't necessarily taste like pesto. Honestly, I think it would've been better paired with steak. Speaking of steak, my partner ordered the Surf & Turf, which was solid. He asked for medium, but it came out closer to medium-well--not a big deal for us, but worth mentioning. Dessert was crème brûlée and flourless chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was a little too rich for me, but the crème brûlée hit the spot. Overall, the cocktails and the butternut squash risotto were the real standouts for me. I'd definitely come back just for those two things! Great experience overall, and I'd recommend checking it out especially if you're staying at The Fontaine.

Yelp
We had an amazing time in our igloo at Nine Zero One! Our two hours captured both an amazing sunset from the rooftop as well as the festive lights as the sky went dark. Once inside, we were greeted with hot chocolate and cookies, a warm heater, and a sound system that we could play our own music to. We did have some issues with the music and power and lost about 30 minutes of our time while they fixed it but in the end, all was well. The igloos are soundproof and cozy for up to eight people. There is a bar menu which we ordered additional drinks and snacks from during our time. The drinks were festive and the snacks were yummy. All in all, the experience was so much fun and a highlight for our family!

Yelp
Visited this place during restaurant week! The views are great, the service was wonderful, the food was enjoyable as well as my apple cider drink! We didn't do the igloos but they were available! We will definitely return.

Yelp
Got the chance to check Nine Zero One with a grouo of my friends. We had a great time, sipping on some cocktails and trying out some of the appetizers there were to offer. This spot is located on the top of the Fontaine hotel service was super quick and friendly. I would recommend making a reservation prior to arrival. They do have an outside bar and spice you can reserve I tried out the espresso, martini and a sangria, both were great. I would recommend parking in the parking garage and getting it validated inside. The pool area is great for summer and in the winter I highly recommend checking out the igloo bar. This space provides great views of the plaza area and there is a beautiful bar space and fireplace inside. I highly recommend this place for a girls day or date. There is a huge selection of snacks, appetizers, larger plates, cocktails, beer, and wine for guests to choose from and enjoy.

Yelp
Nine Zero One Was A Conflicting Experience For Me. The Hotel And Bar Were Luxurious And Upscale. The Servers And Hostess Were So Kind! The Drinks Were AMAZING! I Had The Snickerdoodle Martini And It Was Delicious. We Also Ordered A Steak Flat Bread Which Was Pretty Good. The Rest Of The Food However Was Disappointing. I Went With A Small Group Of Two Other Ladies. One Of My Friends Ordered The Steak Done Medium That Was Unfortunately Undercooked And Unable To Be Cut And The Other Had Underdone Chicken. I Ordered A Honey Badger Sandwich That Was Supposed To Have Hot Honey Sauce However, It Tasted More Like Barbecue Sauce. I Wanted To Love Nine Zero One As The Service And Drinks Were Amazing! However, I Would Unfortunately Not Return For The Food Especially Since The Pricing Is Upscale For A Not So Upscale Experience.

Yelp
This bar is very comfy, the furniture was made for socializing and looking over the plaza. The drinks were strong and tasty, i loved my grilled cheese, the staff made sure to take care of you during your visit. I did not get the chance to dine outside it was too hot, but there was a pool and cabanas you could reserve.

Yelp
Don't forget your watch!! Igloos are timed so just be ready to experience and embrace the adventure! My family really enjoyed the experience and were quite surprised at how quickly we could acclimate to the experience of being on the snowy rooftop It's not about the food, it's about the experience! So, we planned our visit after a nice dinner at Savoy. The rooftop Igloo was basically "the icing" on the Christmastime evening filled with bubbles and treats

Yelp
Would be a Zero star if I could 0/10 absolutely horrible food... then got $200 receipt. Really not happy! If you like good food, please go elsewhere!

Yelp
Average food. Nothing remarkable. Sub-par service for lunch. Went for restaurant week and won't be returning.

Carla D.

Yelp
Sadly, this is absolutely not worth your money nor your time. The igloo was freezing cold and every time the server unzipped the door what little heat that was inside escaped. The igloo plastic fogged up so you couldn't even see outside. And there was no view to speak of anyway. The entrance to the bar smelled like sewer gas. Many of the signature drinks were out of the described liquors and garnishes. They were out of several beers offered on the menu. Service was very slow. The food was marginal. Just No.

Yelp
This was such a fun experience. Drinks and food were amazing. We had Nicole as our server and she was SO wonderful. We had a great time!

Yelp
This is such a fun and welcoming environment! They do an amazing job decorating for the holidays! Best to go with a full party (6-8 people whichever is allowed) to help with the cost. The servers were all so kind, and they even had a grinch who added to the holiday spirits. Cocktail choices were tasty and the apps (I had the steak flatbread) were delicious!

Yelp
Nine Zero One Igloo Bar is a pop up experience located on The Fontaine's 7th story rooftop from late Nov to early March. You must have a reservation for the private igloos. Igloo reservations are $132 (after fees) for 6 people ($22/person) for 90 minutes. There are 4 igloos total with 3 time slots available: 4:30pm (sunset), 6:45pm, and 8:30pm. Our reservation was at 8:30pm - which meant that, because of the city's current 10pm curfew, our last call was one hour in (at 9:30pm) and we had to be out by 9:57pm. We managed to fit in three rounds with the last drink arriving 5 minutes before we were asked to leave. For drinks, the guys liked The Banana Stand and the ladies enjoyed the Pas De Deux Cranberry cocktail. Overall, we had a great (safe) night. Staff followed all COVID precautions. We loved all of the photo ops, our clean, cozy igloo and the ability to control your own heat and music volume. If you don't have a reservation (or don't want to pay for it) but want to get a peak at this exclusive winter wonderland, you can still get a free seat in the "Ice Tundra" bar/lounge area. COVID Precautions: - 30% space capacity. - Two household limit per Igloo/table. - Igloos are professionally fogged and wiped down to sanitize between each rental. - Private elevator to the 7th floor. - Names collected for contract tracing. - Extra masks and cleaning supplies on hand.

Yelp
$140 charge for 90 minutes and the charge doesn't go towards drinks. I was fine with the charge, we had 8 people. I wish there were more comfy seating- there was a couch and several single seats around the igloo. One ticket for the whole bill, again, not uncommon. We had the artisanal plate- which wasn't too impressive, the steak flatbread was fine. The fries were good with their house aioli. They were perfectly crispy! The food menu is honestly pretty small- which they say it's because the table space is limited. Our server was alright, everything felt extremely rushed! On one hand I get it, there's reservations after however being rushed to order after waiting for service isn't my favorite experience. The bar was backed up and had a long wait for our first round. We ordered our second round before we even got our first round. Overall we just felt extremely rushed and I don't think I'd do it again.

Yelp
I'd been looking forward to this for weeks, as we had friends in from out of town. We had a FABULOUS experience at Nine Zero One Igloo Bar! I apparently messed up our reservation online - it was supposed to be in an igloo, but it was made in the dining room. The hostess was able to accommodate us in The Grinch-themed igloo within 10 minutes, though, and it was awesome! She warned service might be slow because servers were short-staffed and there were several large parties, but our server Travis was incredible and the drinks and food came quickly. Igloo was cozy - not cold - and the themed cocktails were very well-crafted. Flatbread were tasty and hit the spot. Overall, it is a very unique and positive experience - we will do it again!

Yelp
Got the 14 oz steak for $44. Really disappointing. Can get the same thing at Applebees for probably about $18. Was chewy and sad.

Yelp
Really cute rooftop bar at the Fontaine hotel. Have been here a couple of times and really enjoyed the manager Gwana, and our server Kelsey! They have great mushroom flatbread and the seasonal menu was delicious.

Yelp
Nine One Zero equals 9 experience expected 1 experience received 0 experience recommended Our party of three arrived Dec 9, 2022 5:10P for our 5:15P rsvp made Nov 7. One of our party had traveled from Atlanta to take in the opulence of the Christmas Plaza experience. We were not greeted by the hostess. We greeted her. We were led into the back portion of the restaurant. There were very few guests in the area. We were led be seated at absolutely worst table in that area. Prior to being seated at that specific table; we spotted several tables closer to the windows. We asked for better seating. We were told the seating was previously reserved. We were promptly greeted by our server asking for our drink orders never provided her name. Our waitress never once mentioned the Happy Hour drink specials. We had ordered one brand specific beer on the drink menu.(they were out of two different ones) We ordered 1 mocktail and 1 specialty drink. The waitress made a comment that the specialty drink was really pretty. It was called Christmas Ornament. The presentation was flatter than notebook paper the taste was gratifyingly perfect. The mocktail was refreshing. As another waiter passed by we inquired if there was a Happy Hour menu/specials he said they didn't have anymore printed but there were $2 off specialty drinks and 50% off classic cocktails. Nothing was ever mentioned by our server. We ordered appetizers and decided we would order entrees. Our server attempted to take our menus prior to our ordering the entree. We advised we would like to order an entree to be brought out once we were done with our starters. She looked stunned!? Well there was approx 20-25 minutes between the time we were done with spinach dip and shrimp toast. Appetizers were beautiful and delicious! Entrees were extremely disappointing and flat. Cauliflower steak hard to cut. Flavorless. Hamburger ok Blackened chicken sandwich uneventful. After check and tip we found out our pathetic waitress was Anand (Diana spelled backward)[ Not one in our party opted to revisit this establishment except to take pictures- the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing to all the senses. I definitely do NOT recommend for dining!

Yelp
Reservations are recommended, however we walked up with a party of three and were seated fairly quickly. Unfortunately, nobody came to greet us or take our order. After about twenty minutes we got up and left. The hostesses were apologetic when I let them know what happened, which was nice, but it was too little too late. This looks like a fun place. I will never know. Please visit at your own risk.

Yelp
These negative reviews have no business being here. We showed up at 8:30 for our reservation on Friday night, and were immediately seated in our igloo. After sitting down, our waitress, Helen, greeted us within 5 minutes. Although the bar was backed up, we were pleased to see our drinks and food show up quickly. The igloo was very clean and pleasantly warm! It was very homey and even had blankets if you wanted some extra warmth. The fee to reserve an igloo is rather expensive but once split among a group of 6, it was not outrageous for a fun night out! Highly recommend checking out this place before the igloos go away!

Yelp
We came for their Father's Day special menu they promoted on social media and had a party of six with reservations. So let me say the two good things first. We loved the size of the table (my wife's comment) and the view. Now to our experience. I can only assume all their staff called in sick or didn't show up because after promoting something on social I would have expected them to be prepared but they were not! When we arrived we were promptly sat but waited 20 minutes to get the special occasion menus. Then an hour after ordering we went looking for some staff to see where our appetizer, soup and salad was. A manager who looked as if she just rolled out of bed came to apologize for the wait and explained the delay was due to the fact all the steaks needed to be prepared differently and shared she was going to the kitchen to help plate our appetizer and salad but before leaving the table shared the soup we ordered an hour ago was out. It was apparent they hadn't done anything for the first hour we were there or maybe the chef just didn't show up? I failed to mention there was only one other party in the entire restaurant. Ten minutes later our appetizer, salad and soup were delivered, soup was not what they said it was, salad had the wrong dressing, the Brie appetizer was accurate. Three minutes later all our meals were delivered, all the steaks were overcooked (all were ordered medium and medium-rare but came out super well done). The chicken and salmon were both over cooked and dry. The seafood risotto was pretty good with the exception of the salmon on it. The lump crab meat on the steak was surprisingly good given how colossally bad everything else was. We took all the steaks home in hopes the dog would eat them. Most expensive meal the dog has ever had! A super disappointing experience from start to finish.

Yelp
Be prepared to be disappointed. Don't expect any sort of contact from this establishment when you reach out either. I've messaged them 3 times on their website AND sent a follow up email asking for someone to contact me and I haven't heard a word from them. Which is like giving me the middle finger, in my opinion. I work in customer service and I know what it's like to receive a bad survey or poor review without any knowledge beforehand, so I wanted to give them the opportunity to discuss this matter before leaving reviews on all platforms but they've left me with no other option at this point. I booked reservations for a group of 4 on Friday 12/3 at 845pm for my birthday celebration. We arrived 10 minutes early and were advised by the hostess that they were running behind. No problem. We were taken to our reserved igloo close to 9pm. However the server did not come back to take our drink order until 9:25pm. After ordering, it took quite a bit of time to receive our drinks. When our server brought our drinks we specifically asked about the 90 minute reservation as we were unsure when the 90 minutes started since we were sat late and it took so long to get our drinks. She seemed unsure of how this worked and indicated there wasn't a set end time. Then our server only checked on us one additional time at which we requested to order a second drink. Again, this took quite a long time to receive these drinks and then they forgot one of the drinks. At 10:30pm, a different woman came to our igloo and said "I have to kick you out", even though we had just received our second round of drinks. When our server initially took our drink order, she stated that they were short staffed that night. While I understand that this is not our server's fault, this is completely unacceptable. I consider myself a reasonable and understanding person and I fully understand the challenges businesses, including my own, are facing right now. However, you should not offer reservations if you cannot staff for it appropriately. On top of that, we are paying a hefty price for a service. If you cannot deliver the service, then you should not be charging for this. When I say "hefty fee", I paid $150 for a reservation only fee for four adults. This money does not go towards your tab, which I was aware of when booking. The woman that told us she was kicking us out was extremely rude and we were taken aback by her lack of professionalism. I want to make clear that I fully understood when booking that there was a 90 minute reservation time, however, there were far more appropriate ways she could've handled the situation. For example, she could've come to our igloo 10 minutes prior and advised that we were approaching the 90 minute reservation. She could've asked us if there was anything else we needed as our reservation was ending. We are educated and considerate individuals and would've understood that it was time to leave. Again, this is why we specifically asked for details regarding the time earlier but we were not given a direct answer. I've since shared this experience with other friends, family, and co-workers and those that have been here all had a similar experience. If this is on your KC Christmas bucket list, either lower your expectations or take your money to one of the other 10 pop up bars.

Yelp
The igloos were flimsy plastic and it was very noisy. And the worst part you had to pay in advance non-refundable.

Yelp
We recently checked out the igloos at nine zero one and had a really great time! We got the tent since we had around 15 people and it was perfectly set up-there was a lot of decor, heaters, hot chocolate, a Bluetooth speaker, and games. There was plenty of room and the service was pretty good as they came to the tent. Prices were a little expensive, but about what you'd expect at a place like this (~$15/cocktail). We had a lot of fun and would do it again, but it's definitely a place to go at least once to experience it! The drinks were also delicious!

Yelp
My girlfriends and I were very disappointed in the experience - we arrived right on time since the site tells you they'll give your res away if you're 10 mins late. Then had to wait 35 minutes past our res time to be seated at our igloo (they said just had to 'clean it up'). Watched about 5 parties get seated in their igloos ahead of us. Ok, fine; we weren't privy to the seating approach. But when we got in, it smelled a little like... vomit? I wish I was kidding. Super cute interior though, with cozy blankets and fireplace. Wouldn't be that comfortable for more than 4 people. But yeah, we weren't sure if the delay was bc they literally seated us in an igloo someone had thrown up in. Very unfortunate. Food was underwhelming, we got burrata (good), crispy shrimp (pretty good) and lobster rolls (not good - odd flavor). S'mores for dessert were very dry. Service was fine, they seem a little scrambled with we assumed was from the industry-wide staffing challenges, so I don't want to ding them for that. But they did overcharge us by 5 (!) pumpkin martinis (our bill said we had 9 total - lol) on our final bill, we asked to have it corrected, then still overcharged us by 1 again. Also, their 'well' cocktails will not be 'well' - my tequila with lime was still $15, more than some of their speciality cocktails. Not one to leave reviews often. But a very disappointing experience given we each paid $50 a person *just* to be in there. Would not recommend; maybe check out the other igloo offering in town instead.

Melissa S.

Yelp
On Oct 1st I purchased a $300 experience reservation at Nine Zero One rooftop for December 13th that was non-refundable, I was called 3 days ago that my $300 was being refunded and the 7th floor was not available after 4 pm. Not hardly the way to do business. I hated canceling my 10 guests but also feel terrible for all of the other reservations canceled. Imagine if you were entertaining clients or had out of town guests. I guess money talks, but be careful booking there. You could get canceled.

Bob H.

Yelp
Tonight we had the best experience, dining in one of the rooftop "igloos"...the server named MJ was so great---affable and attentive. She took our photos, showed us around, brought us some delicious food. And we look forward to our next visit! Thanks so much.

Yelp
Let me preface this by saying that I was SO excited to have something "Covid-safe" to do for my boyfriends' birthday weekend. The igloo we got was not styled the same as the igloo in the marketing on FB or Instagram. There was no couch in the igloo, only slightly uncomfortable wicker type chairs. After we arrived and looked at the menu (which is not available to view anywhere online) our waitress asked "so what do you want?". We ordered drinks. Had to flag her down to place a food order. Food was cold...and atrocious. I feel like I wasted $120 for my boyfriend and our friends to have a worse time than we would have at home.

Yelp
what a fun experience in the winter! they transform the summer pool to a winter wonderland with igloos, glamping tents, and a cabin. we reserved an igloo that fits up to 8 people. normally you have 1.5 hours in there but since we were the last group, we stayed over 2 hours! in each igloo there is a bluetooth speaker for your own music, blankets, a mini tree, lots of chairs, fireplace, and a table. enough space for all 8 of you. our waitress MJ was great. she recommended drinks and snacks to eat and came back every 10-20 minutes to check up on us. we ordered the hot chocolate for everyone and that came with marshmallows. it was a bit thin for my taste as i like richer flavors. they probably used water instead of milk. their holiday drink menu was so good. i had an old fashion inspired drink, a warm rum cider, and a pumpkin espresso martini. they need to keep these on the normal menu! for foods we got the fries and chorizo meatballs. the fries were great with a pesto dip. the meatballs ehh. they had cheese in the middle which didnt add to it. the igloo was warm in the frigid outside temperatures within getting too steamy or suffocating. it had zippered air vents if it did get too hot which we never had to use.

Yelp
We had dinner and drinks at nine zero one on Christmas Day, it was an interesting experience. The igloo was cozy and I would definitely reserve one again. The food was adequate, we ordered a flatbread, duck confit mozzarella sticks, French onion soup and lobster rolls...all of them were solidly average. We also ordered a champagne package that included a bottle of Moët and some Christopher Elbow chocolates, they subbed the chocolates for macaroons. Overall it cost us about $500 for the evening, was it worth that, no....BUT, our server, Bison, was a gem and she was great...just the right amount of attention and service without overdoing it... She gets 5 stars, the rest of the experience gets 3 stars.

Yelp
Cute concept but the service was so bad! Our group was really upset we paid almost $200 to reserve the igloo and have such bad service. We had to leave to find a waitress every time we needed something. We brought our friend here for her bachelorette drinks & was so disappointed. There was one lady working that was however helpful, she might have been the manager? We felt awful for her!

Yelp
We had such a wonderful time at the Derby Party hosted by Nine Zero One. There was something available for everyone. The food was amazing and the staff were are all friendly and courteous.

Yelp
Terrible service. Rude manager. Not worth the money. Once we finally got food it was cold and unappetizing and the drinks were just weird. There were 8 of us and we all ordered a different drink and only one person was happy with their beverage. It took so long to get the first round of drinks so my husband said go ahead and bring us another round but this was before we tasted our drinks. After we all sipped our drinks and were disgusted my husband ran to the waitress and asked to cancel the drink order. This was not even a minute after he requested another round. The waitress was nice about it but the manager came over and gave us a hard time about canceling the drinks saying we are messing with her alcohol costs and blah blah blah. The horrible service and rude manager ruined the ambiance. It's basically a photo opportunity but for $200 to rent the igloo it's not worth it. I would never come here again and I wish I had the money back for the babysitter I paid last night. Awful way to spend my 30th birthday. I made a yelp account just to let everyone know how garbage this place is. I wish I could leave a negative -5 stars.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Good food, a bit over priced. Poor service, the staff does there best but they need to hire more servers.

Yelp
Great experience, I've had multiple dates with the wife here. The food and cocktails are very good.

Yelp
We only came here for drinks, so I can't speak to their food. Everyone enjoyed their drinks but this place is pretty pricey and not all that special. I had a dirty martini and it was made well. The service was great and overall, we had a good experience.

Yelp
Super cute on the inside. They have a DJ which adds to the awesome vibe. If you can, request Shay! She's super quick and sweet. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
We arrived a few minutes early and the hostess had us wait a for our reservation time. When it was time she took us outside to the igloo and everything was good! Service was good, drinks came quickly, igloos were cozy and warm and overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend!

Yelp
Beautiful place. They had a dj out on Sunday and that was a treat! Wonderful cocktails and small plates. Friendly staff and our waitress "Shay" was great. Highly recommend for a nice laid back place.

Yelp
Overpriced, under whelming. Went in March 2021 and had a great experience. This season during January 2022, they clearly chose profits over experience. They covered up the stunning glass covered pool with wooden planks to hold up the igloos and you could no longer see the roof tops beautiful view. Service was terrible, drinks were meh. We were going to continue this as an annual friend group tradition but after this year, we all unanimously decided this was not an experience worth repeating.

Yelp
Do not waste your time! Just get off the elevator to take a snap in the entry and LEAVE! Trust me not worth trying. Despite having a sub par experience the first time (2nd day open) I gave them a pass because it was new so I returned 2 weeks later only for the experience to get worse. I've had 6 food items from their menu all of which are overpriced & disgusting. They don't carry any name brand liquors like jack Daniel's or Crown so don't expect to order a normal drink. Even the pizza is horrendous and it's hard to mess up a pizza (taste like hot garbage from the disposal). The staff is rude and slow. The first time there the table was so wobbly you couldn't set a drink down so we asked if they could fix it or prop it up and were told one word "no". Our reservations both time were screwed up and our table was given away both setting us in a corner and neglected. The service is terrible we literally waited 30 minutes for a spoon and it was NOT busy. The server the second time was rude and when told she was being unprofessional she laughed and made it worse. Actually arguing with guests and when we told the bar manager he condoned her behavior and then the lady manager basically told us they don't care. I'm not big on knocking a business but considering the consistent terrible experience food and service you should save the trip and a guaranteed bad time.

Yelp
This is a fun and funky place. I'm giving it three stars because of my first visit, otherwise it would have 1. My first visit, my fiancée and I got the whiskey hot chocolates for 2. They were amazing! Creamy, chocolatey, boozy homemade goodness with a marshmallow toasted fireside after the waiter poured us each a cupful. So when my bestie came to town from California, I made sure to reserve a spot. It was so disappointing. We ordered the hot chocolate again. It was awful. First of all, the cups arrived with a marshmallow jammed on a stick and stuck in the glass. I asked about the marshmallow because the server didn't say anhinga about it and she blew me off saying they ran out of fuel. Maybe she could have mentioned it when we ordered. Then the "hot" chocolate was lukewarm at best. I had to wait almost 10 minutes for her to come back so I could ask her to warm it up. And the hot chocolate was so watery it was like a Swiss miss packet was used for the whole pot. I was so disappointed. Don't waste your time.

Yelp
I would not recommend this experience to anyone ever. The igloo was pretty cold whenever we got inside, and it took so long for someone to take our order we had to figure out the heater ourselves. The heater could not pump out enough heat to make it comfortable in the igloo. I would recommend two heaters per igloo instead of one. Paying so much money for this experience I at least expected to not be cold. Our server took a long time to come to our igloo and a long time to get our drinks and appetizer. I ordered the hot buttered rum and asked the server if it was hot, they said yes. Great I thought, this will help warm me up. The drink came and it didn't taste good, but what was worse is it was basically room temperature. Another person in our party ordered the Grinch drink and did not like it, and my husband's bad Santa drink came without whipped cream. The charcuterie board was not worth the price and it was so cold in the igloo I could not wait to leave. The view is not that great I'm not exactly sure what we paid for. I really wish KC hotel still had their igloo experience this year. We attended the igloos on top of KC hotel last year twice and felt spoiled to death compared to this place, they had 2 heaters per igloo, the drinks and food came out quickly and everything tasted good, the staff were also super knowledgeable, one even gave us a tour of El Gold before it was complete. They need to tear these igloos down, it just does not seem or feel like they have the resources to make this work right now.
