The Best Ramen in Portland and Beyond

"This strip mall ramen-ya in downtown Hillsboro is the sort of hidden gem that ramen fiends love to talk about. Dimly lit by chochins with J-pop videos blasting on the TV, Ninja Ramen offers the usual suspects: tonkotsu, miso, and vegetarian broths. The standout bowl here might well be the tantanmen, with its silky broth, crispy bits of seasoned ground pork, and nutty nuances. All bowls here can also arrive as combos with sides of donburi, karaage, or gyoza." - Zoe Baillargeon

Google
I went to Ninja Ramen with my boyfriend and it is such a lovely place to eat at!!! I loved the food and everything about the place it was nice and cozy inside. I highly reccomend trying it out. 5 stars for everything food, service, and atmosphere. There was pretty high beat anime music and other bands playing on a tv and the food is divine and melts in your mouth kind of good. I want to go here so much more. Also their boba tea is so good! 😄💖🥰

Google
This was an amazing Ramen experience. I would recommend if you're in the area, maybe working and want some food worth your money. Get the Garlic Ramen.

Google
Love this place. It’s a little “hole in the wall” looking but their food is sooooooo good. The tan tan ramen is my favorite! I get it every time. Perfect amount of peanut-y and spicy. Today I also tried the pork pot stickers which were amazing! Definitely homemade and not frozen or deep fried.

Google
Great meal! We love that it offers both Ramen and Bento. The older woman who runs the store is very passionate and a pleasure to visit with! I personally order the Sukiyaki ramen every time. The price is just right for the portions and we usually can bring some home after filling up! We were also given a stamp card that allows us to earn free ramen. Authentic and welcoming, we have been back many times and will continue to visit.

My husband, my son and I decided to go to Ninja Ramen after a workout at tree to tree activity. We normally order Uber Eats from this place but decided to dine in today. We went there alittle late after lunch around 2pm. The lady was super nice to welcome us and help us order. Kind and helpful. The food was very delicious like always. My son’s favorite chicken Karage was so good and Ramen was delicious too. Staff was super nice and welcoming. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant.

Google
I ordered 3 ramens over the phone & to-go at 6pm. It's a busy time to order by the women at the counter was so nice. She was waiting tables & making pick up orders all at the same time. Excellent service! The food is made with love & the flavors really come through. I let my 18 month old eat this food as well & he ate every last bite & slurpped all the broth up. We will return again! Just have some patience if you order during a busy time.

Google
Great food but, to-go option only? 16.85 for the deluxe ramen already feels expensive and now I have to pay a .50 cent to go fee and a tip for no table service. Kinda weird might try some new places in town after this.

Google
It's pretty rare and absolutely amazing to have homemade battered Takoyaki filled with scrumptious octopus here in our little town of Hillsboro. As a matter of fact, our server said as much as they can, they prepare in-house, and it tastes that way! We've enjoyed bento, noodles, salads, and teriyaki- all yummy. All in all, a "let's go here again" type place for casual eats. Minus a star for the overwhelming smell of bathroom deodorizer that tainted the dining area, sticky table tops and menu's, and dirty dining room seats which has not changed any time we've gone here.

Yelp
This restaurant was so considerate I'm in a wheelchair and they accommodated the restaurant next-door to let me eat my food there since the wheelchair couldn't fit through the door and she even walked everything over didn't even charge me for pick up so I didn't get charge for the container such a sweet lady and the food is absolutely amazing best Karaage chicken I've ever had in my life in the broth is to die for definitely check this place out

Yelp
The garlic ramen at this restaurant was delicious. I requested additional garlic oil, and they kindly provided it at no extra cost. However, I noticed a slight price increase of a few dollars on all menu items. While the ramen quality is undoubtedly excellent, I believe it may be possible to find similar quality ramen at a more affordable price elsewhere. The service provided was rather limited. I had hoped for a more streamlined process, where customers could place their orders and then find a seat to dine. The broth was quite thick, which may not appeal to everyone's preferences, although I personally enjoy a thicker broth. Overall, the experience was mostly positive, except for the relatively small portion size of the ramen.

Yelp
Tucked in the center of a super-diverse Asian eatery strip mall is this subtle ramen shop. Fairly small dining space (seating for 30 max.) decorated with Japanese imagery and playing K & J- pop on a tv screen, nothing fancy but comfortable. Seems equal number of customers dine in as takeout. Pricing and value was pretty average for a ramen shop with noodle bowls ranging from $14 to $18. Portion size was also average with a noodle bowl filling us up but not to excess. We had the black garlic oil tonkatsu ramen (very tasty with a hearty broth), and the chicken ramen (basic tonkatsu broth plus 3-4 pieces of kaarage batter chicken). The noodles were firm and slightly thicker than most ramen houses. A B-grade, which means 4 stars......downgraded due to each bowl being a bit skimpy on the "toppings." The toppings were cha shu pork ( 2 very skinny pieces), a soft-cooked egg, and a few bean sprouts & green onions. If you wanted additional items, basically add $1 to $3 for each item. Other ramen shops typically include more toppings for about the same price. If in the Hillsboro area, this may be the best ramen option, and we'll definitely give it another try.

Yelp
Decent ramen spot in Hillsboro. They have ramen as well as bentos. I've tried both and will come again when I'm in the mood for a quick bite. They have lots of parking up front and the staff is cool

Yelp
Overall this was a really great place. It was obvious that they used fresh ingredients made to order. The vegetarian gyoza was the best I have ever had. It was incredibly fresh with pieces of edamame inside, which I had never seen before, but added something delicious and unique. My only gripe was I got the vegetarian ramen, which was served with a salad on top. If it was only spinach that would have been fine, but I get grossed out, if my lettuce gets hot broth on it. Once I put that aside, the rest of the ramen was delicious. I liked the miso broth, but my husband found it to be a bit salty.

Yelp
Ambience is of an old Japanese ramen shop like you'd find in Japan so 5 stars right there! They had Japanese music playing in the background. I got the spicy ramen and we shared the potato appetizer which was amazing!

Yelp
Living in LA we have a ton of great ramen options. When we came to Oregon, my niece suggested we meet here for their ramen. Unfortunately I think I've been too spoiled living so close to Little Tokyo...Ninja Ramen wasn't what I expected and not in a good way either. I am pretty open to when it comes to visiting new places but Ninja Ramen didn't make the cut. As you can see, we ordered a number of different items including their ramen and karaage. The broth was lack luster and have had better for sure. I compare it to a churched up version of Top Ramen. The pork was chewy and had no flavor at all. The noodles were way too thick for ramen and didn't give an option how you would like them to be cooked. The toppings were ice cold and brought down the temperature of the broth which didn't help. The karaage was decent but not as good as I expected since they have a banner in the front looking like it was of their specialties. Bento box pork belly was cold and chewy just like in the ramen. Overall it wasn't a good experience. Ambiance: 7/10 Service:7/10 Food:4/10 Bathrooms: 7/10 Cleanliness: 9/10 Value: 5/10 Will I Return? Sadly, I will not...

Yelp
Went here around noon on a weekday with a few buddies of mine. I ordered the tan tan men and takoyaki. The tan tan men was just okay. It wasn't anything that tasted out of the park but it wasn't too bad either. I do respect that they do not use any MSG in their broth. No complaints on the texture of the noodles and the broth was okay. I could probably pass on the takoyaki next time. I do like that the takoyaki had a crispy exterior. No complaints about the service. The server did a great job handling our group of 6. Price, quantity, quality: 7/10 Portion for price is alright. It's not ridiculously expensive for a decently portioned bowl of ramen. I could say the same for the takoyaki I ordered as well. Is the quality there? I'll let you people be the judge of that one. Again I will give credit where it is due on the fact that they do not use MSG.

Yelp
Solid ramen, good combo options, and kids meals! I had the chicken karaage ramen because I'm not huge on pork. The broth was flavorful, and the chicken was moist. Very filling as well.

Yelp
Tamago Garlic Ramen is my favorite with an extra soft boiled egg. Service has been perfect and the overall ambience of the place is fine. Feels like a little ramen shop in Tokyo (not that I've been to Tokyo). Anyways yeah get up off your butt and go slurp some noodles.

Yelp
My son and I came for the first time and had a really good dinner. The service is friendly and fairly quick (there was only one waitress doing everything). We opted for the tonkatsu ramen and spicy Miso, both in the combo with spicy chicken karaage and gyoza. The spicy chicken was worth the $7 with good flavor and portion, the gyoza were smaller and not sure I would pay $6 for the order. The spicy Miso had a good amount of spice that made my nose run, my only complaint is that the chashu piece was so small and thin you could almost see through it so I would have wanted more meat. The tonkatsu had two slices of chashu and an egg, my son loved the broth and noodles but could have used more meat for the price also. We ended up paying about $38 for two bowls or ramen and the two sides. Overall the food was very good, just would expect more meat in the ramen.

Yelp
This is a nice small family owned business. The owners are very sweet and treat their customers well. When I was here, I saw a lot of returning customers which means that they like this place a lot - made me very excited to try their food. The place is small on the inside but they have booths on the side for larger parties. They also have this side bar seating for those who want to enjoy the food here by themselves. I got a variety of their popular dishes to try. The deluxe ninja ramen tasted a lot like your tonkotsu based ramens but it has a nice rich base. The tantan ramen was something I had not experienced before. The broth was spicy and creamy but the toppings went well with it. The ramen noodles is the same for all their ramen dishes. Tip: Eat your ramen first since they can get soggy if you wait. The curry rice tasted good but has that boxed curry taste to it. The karaage and takoyaki were decent too. I would recommend getting their ramen if you go here. Summary: would definitely come back to try the rest of the ramen menu.

Yelp
Got our regular order of noodles and chicken and rice but the rice was So Gummy this morning So Sad!! New cooks? This is Second time Bad meals. My daughter started this place years ago and I just started to like now maybe just noodles and I usually don't like Pork. Broth So good and spicy.

Yelp
As I moved to Hillsboro last year, this was the first place we decided go try, and I'm surprised I forgot to leave a review! So here it is! This ramen place is within a mini community just off the busy street of Cornell. It is tucked away in the middle of that area and the parking can be difficult. It's a tight squeeze. Overall I've been back, and here is what we've tried: Apps: 1. Edamame: plain, basic, and delish! Can't really go wrong 2. Chicken Karrage: CRISPY! I asked for a side of lemon with it 3. Takoyaki: HOT HOT HOT! Be careful, but these bad boys were delish and I ordered it twice :) 4. Calamari: again a plain and basic app, but delish. It is a bit smalll for that price point though! 5. Gyoza: crispy! and good. the sauce was a bit plain so I ended up using soy sauce. Entrees: 1. Donburi Bowl: this is a hearty meal and they offer two different portion sizes. I call one a snack size and the other a meal-ish (could be slightly bigger for the chashu pork and chicken) but the curry one is filling! -chashu pork: absolutely melt in your mouth HEAVEN! Yes please- get this if you want a rice bowl -chicken karrage: this was good, plain- and I prefer this as an app rather than an entree -curry: this one is FILLING! I suggest the small size so you can try other options if you want it as a taster Ramens: so we've literally tried every single ramen and I won't write about each one: so here are the favs and why: 1. Deluxe Ninja: good for those who can't make up their mind. A great go-to item for your first time. 2. Spicy Miso: the miso flavor is great, a bit on the saltier side, but ask for extra spice to put in because it's not truly "spicy" for me. 3. Tamago: their eggs are consistently perfect! I get the garlic addition and Im never disappointed. Overall Ninja is a solid choice and it's closer than some of the other great Ramen Choices in Oregon!

Yelp
This place is so good! We tried the Tonkatsu ramen with pork belly, Miso Ramen with Chicken Karage, and gyoza. The service was great as well!

Yelp
Ninja Ramen is a small, unassuming restaurant located in a strip mall in Hillsboro. It's easy to miss, but don't let that fool you. The ramen here is some of the best in the city. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the noodles are perfectly cooked. The toppings are generous, and the gyoza are homemade and delicious. The service is friendly and attentive, and the prices are very reasonable. Ninja Ramen is a great place to go for a quick and satisfying meal.

Yelp
The food was bomb the service was amazing the owner was really nice and showed kindness. Really recommend the tonkotsu ramen and the spicy miso ramen (sorry if I spelled anything wrong)

Yelp
On Thursday night, which is my Friday and my teen's Sunday, I decided to treat us to some expensive take out. I had seen other reviews of Ninja and sure enough we could get it delivered to our house. It took a while to come ( our delivery driver waited at the restaurant for a while) but when it arrived we were pretty satisfied. We ordered: 1) peach milk tea with boba ( teen liked this) 2) edamame ( also liked) 3) tonkatsu ramen with pork katsu, egg, and corn. It was nicely packaged with the broth separate and directions for heating it. The egg was not jammy any more ( you could see where it had been in the middle, it just sat too long), the meat was deemed chewy by teen, and there were not quite enough noodles to satisfy my hungry kid. Kid declared this a four. Kid eats a lot of ramen. 4) Chashu Don for me. The pork was tender and fatty, the rice was perfect. I had to remove the green onions and sesame seeds because I can't eat those right now. I hadnt seen them in the online pics. Nevertheless, it was delicious. Needed a little more sauce so I dumped my gyoza dipping sauce on the rice. Sorry chefs. 5) gyoza - really good. Dipping sauce okay. 6) an expensive can of Sprite for me. Shrug. It is what it is. I wish there was a green tea available w/o boba or fruit but no biggie. This was a delicious meal. For all the kid's " there aren't enough noodles" it became two meals in the end because the teen couldn't finish it. I like how it was packaged. I love that there is no added MSG. I am hoping we can go in person one of these days and have it fresh and piping hot with a perfect egg. Good stuff overall.

Yelp
Well fist time trying the food here and it was pretty good. My ramen spot is Ramen Ryoma that place is a 10/10. We took our food to go but the girl behind the counter with the glasses was so rude and over charged me $.50 and I told her about it and she said that her boss makes her charge for the container. Honestly I think that BS I think she didn't want to reverse the charge. Then when she gave us our food she just placed it on the table and walked away. Even my wife said I see what you mean. Anyway the food was ok, but it you want Ramen...Ramen Ryoma is the spot and the service is great!!!!

Yelp
NO MSG ラーメン directly from Japan! Hitsumoto Taka and his wife Chiga own this business and proudly display certificates about Ramen making, earned while they lived in Japan. This restaurant opened up just less than a year ago, as the pandemic started, yet that didn't stop them from keeping the business open! This restaurant reminded me of an awesome place when we visited Japan . It is COZY and even though it's a shame that we can only get delicious Ramen TO GO now, you can order through the Yelp/GrubHub app or even better: Directly on their website https://ninjaramen.square.site/ ‍. - Get FREE RAMEN! When you pick-up your order, make sure to get your punch card. We ordered the delicious Tonkotsu Ramen ($10.95) and added an egg ($1.50 each, highly recommend you look at the options!) and it was delicious, the pork meat MELTS in your mouth and the NOODLES are thick and tasty. The Chicken Karaage ($7.95 for 5 pieces) was crispy yet meaty and very well seasoned. As for the Vege Spring Rolls (2 for $4.95) and the Gyoza (5 for $6.95) I understand they were tasty, I didn't get to try them. ‍ This was my first time trying the Tonkatsu Ramen ($19.90 with a boiled egg in it) and I'm not a fan of it because I believe that the tempura pork should be out of the broth, but that's my personal take and my intention was precisely to try new things. Your mileage might vary. Next time I'm getting Tonkotsu or try the "Deluxe Ninja Ramen". また近いうちにお会いしましょう

Yelp
I was really hoping to like the ramen here. After recently moving, I have been desperately trying to find the best ramen in the area and have not had great luck. Decided to try Ninja Ramen after seeing it come up on DoorDash multiple times. Unfortunately, it was some of the worst ramen I've ever had. Ramen is something I eat religiously (at least once a week). I got the Deluxe Ninja Ramen. The broth had almost no flavor and had the consistency of water. The worst part, there was tons of burnt sediment in the broth cup (as seen in the images below). It caused the broth to have an acrid taste, similar to old coffee in the pot. Not good. It's very rare I can't finish a meal and sadly this was one of those times. I am hoping this may have been an accident or a bad night as we did order around 7:00pm, but not likely to try again to find out. **Following up on the owner's reply. I completely agree everyone has different taste. I have never had Mayu with quite that ashy consistency and quite that acrid of a taste. I've really liked Mayu in very rich broth, but sadly the broth is not rich and does not have that same mouth feel you would expect from great ramen. When the bitter Mayu is applied to this thinner broth it overpowers the flavors completely and does not pair nicely like it does in other richer ramens. But it could be some one else's taste.

Ariana P. F.

Yelp
I've tried it many times and I never disappointed! The kaarage bowls are my favorite thing. The chicken is always so juicy and tender.

Yelp
Fun interior and a little piece of Japan in Hillsboro near the airport and other fun places. Authentic menu of soups, fried foods, sides, and beverages including bubble tea. Tasty and as close to Japan you can get on that side of Hillsboro. Prices not bad.
google avatar

Xiaoxi M.

Yelp
It was not as good/authentic as I expected. The ramen was salty. The fried chicken was okay. If you are looking the ramen you had in Japan, this will not be the place to go.

Yelp
Serviceable ramen I guess , I have been wanting to try this place , I have looked at all the reviews and pics and was finally in the mood for some spicy ramen ... well I got the spicy miso with extra egg and even added extra spicy to the order .. As you can see if you look at pics they added something that may look like spice to the Oder I swear this whole thing is less spicy than a random drive Thur chicken nuggy So I want Ed something spicy and now I just wasted $40 and am kinda pissed I'm giving 3 stars because it is edible but not ordering from here again I know the owner jumps in the comments so I am here to tell him Make a spicy thing spicy man ... you could literally give this spicy miso with extra spicy to a baby and they would think it is milk It makes me sad wasting this money and having to write this review Edit changed it to 2 stars .. the more I eat it the more mad I get ...

Yelp
My coworker and I stumbled across this place while searching for Japanese cuisine in Hillsboro. We are big fans of ramen in general and most interested in the savory noodles and broth. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food, excellent service, and wide selection. I highly recommend Ninja Ramen to anyone passing by the area who is looking for good ramen at an average price.

Ken N.

Yelp
I saw this Ramen shop while in town and decided to give it a try because of the rave reviews. I had the Deluxe ramen. I like the amount of noodles and the Char Siu was so tender. Very nice. The meat had an excellent texture and fell apart in the soup. The soup base is a little different. It has good flavor but maybe just a bit too much salt for me. I would like to try other soups but alas, I'm not local to this area. I enjoyed Ninja Ramen, it is definitely worth a try.

Yelp
As a Japanese-American, I've been in constant search of affordable yet balanced flavored ramen in Portland/Beaverton/Hillsboro area. I stumbled upon Ninja Ramen, not too far away from my home. The decorations does remind me of those smaller local ramen shops in Japan. I've ordered a Tonkotsu Ramen. I was actually quite surprised the broth was on the lighter side of the spectrum! The noodles were cooked perfectly and the size of those noodles complemented with the broth. It was definitely delicious and would recommend it for the price. I've also ordered gyoza. It was pretty decent, just a standard gyoza that I can find at other restaurants. Perhaps if you can make it crispy on the bottom like how it's done in Japan, as well as improve on the sauce, I think it would improve to おいしい! If you want to support local Japanese ramen, I would definitely recommend it! I know I would come back because it was a positive experience!

Yelp
restaurant was a joke not only was I insulted by "the" he asked me if everything was good and I told him it wasn't and what was wrong it tasted like water. He came out and then stuck a spoon in my ramen and tried it and and told me i was wrong because he was the professional. Excuse me .... His waitress then comes and makes a statement how i used half a bottle if soy sauce (also not true) on my chicken I showed them how much i used as you could still see it. I lost my cool at that point after being insulted by the "professional " and his waitress i asked for my check and to leave i paid my bill and tried to leave but he kept trying to talk to me. I go get in my car and he followed me out and bribed me not to put this on yelp. He even came up to my car and knocked on the window. This restaurant also smells like it recently had a fire in it Please also note the chef and owner "professional " ate from my bowl still at my table during covid showing 0 care or precaution for covid 19

Yelp
Service was okay, but the food was amazing!!! Perfect for a rainy day! The Spicy Miso is definitely my favorite and we will keep coming back!!

Yelp
I had the namesake 'Ninja Ramen', which is supposed to be Tonkatsu style ramen. Egg was nearly hard boiled. Noodles were for Chinese chow mein, not ramen. Little to no gelatin in the broth. If you think about it as an experimental, wet version chow mien, it actually isn't too bad. It just isn't ramen. Also the karaage were just breaded orange chicken bites without the sauce.

Ken M.

Yelp
Food is mediocre at best. Service was horrible. Girl at the counter was on the phone the whole time and seemed annoyed she was even there. Didn't ask if I needed anything extra like sauce or chopsticks, just handed me my food while she's still on the phone and then looked away immediately. Never going back. Wasted my money. Place looked kinda dirty also.

Yelp
We were out this way for an event and decided to stop in for some food first and I'm so glad we did. We tried their ramen don combos. Karrage don - I tried it with their house made spicy sauce, and it definitely has a punch to it but nothing too crazy. Deluxe ninja - tonkatsu broth with deliciously tender chashu pork. The noodles were abundant and very flavorful. Tamago garlic - the first ramen I've tried with actual solid garlic flavor. It wasn't aggressive but just enough to let you know the garlic was there. The egg was nearly perfect - 30 seconds less and it would've been perfection. They were apparently short handed today but the man at the front - I didn't catch his name - buster butt to get everyone everything right away and was apologetic if he even remotely delayed. He was amazing and represents amazingly. Their prices are very reasonable and the service is quick and kind. Highly recommend if you are in the area

Yelp
I'm excited for a ramen place to be all the way out here in Hillsboro! I went into Ninja Ramen for a weekday lunch. We sat in a booth and an employee came over to take our orders. Like a proper ramen joint, the menu is short and simple - the focus is on quality bowls of ramen, with a few rice bowl options (curry, karaage don, etc. and appetizers (karaage, croquette, etc). The ramen broths are all pork based, with the exception of the vegetarian ramen. I got the miso ramen with a small curry don while my dining partners got the garlic chili oil ramen and the vegetarian ramen. The food came out quickly and we all enjoyed our dishes. The broth was good and the noodles, thick and al dente, were perfect. My only two complaints are that the wooden spoon really wasn't very effective compared to your regular ramen soup spoon - it was driving me nuts; and the miso broth was a bit on the salty side. The curry tasted like the standard box type, with slices of pork added - while I do enjoy a standard curry, the meat was a bit tough - I think I'd skip the curry next time and stick to just the ramen. Overall, a solid ramen joint. I'll be back to try their other offerings.

Yelp
Cute little ramen shop in Hillsboro with an almost diner-like feel. The servers were all very friendly and welcoming. I got the Miso Ramen ($11.95) with a soft boiled egg add-on ($1.50). Broth was what I expected, and the noodles were chewy and slightly undercooked which gave a nice texture. Portions were also a good size!

Yelp
First time visiting this place and enjoyed the cozy feel (once you get past the mural with a boy's dongle hanging out, albeit strategically covered). The place is small and seats about 30 people. Not great for a large party, unless you split up. The staff was quite friendly, so service was good throughout the meal. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen, while my brother ordered the deluxe ninja ramen with the garlic oil on the side. The tonkatsu broth was nicely flavorful and wonderfully not over-salted, like most places. Extra brownie points for not using MSG, so the flavor was cleaner without the salty preservative umami that's common at other ramen joints. Definitely enjoyed the chashu, which had a good meat-to-fat ratio. The noodles were pretty standard and had a good amount of chewy tooth feel. Overall, I'd go back to try other broth flavors and see how their gyozas stack up.

Yelp
Another solid ramen establishment with this being one of the first way out in Hillsboro. The owners advertise no MSG and as someone very sensitive to MSG, I can attest I slurped up their tasty broth and didn't feel my nervous system get attacked like places that do use a lot of MSG. Great tasting deluxe and tamago garlic with me personally liking the tamago garlic more as it gave the best bang for the buck. A family member got the miso and we liked the deep rich miso flavors. Looking forward to try the tonkotsu. We came in the evening and if I had a wish, perhaps brighter lighting as it felt dark, but food wise it hits the mark and it shows with a constant stream of customers even on a Sunday night.

Yelp
Food was terrible. We eat romen regularly. But this place was not good .out of 5 of us, no one was happy with their food and we all left hungry. Had to stop at McD for more food

Yelp
First time here. Was surprised to walk in and be directly in the seating area, no real entry way as it doesn't have a lot of extra space. There was J-pop playing with corresponding videos on a tv over the service counter. I ordered the ninja deluxe which came with an egg and other add ons. (You order at the counter at lunch, there is table service at dinner.) While it wasn't the very best Ramen Ive ever had, it was really good. A rich pork bone broth, noodles, corn, sprouts, seaweed, and pork. Definitely worth going to if you are in the mood for Ramen. There are so many good Pho places around, it's actually nice to have a Ramen alternative!

Yelp
Covid Review ~ with 50,000 Intel employees working from home, the lunch crowd was non-existent. Service by owner was kind and welcoming. Recommended: Vegetarian Hiyashi Chuka $13.95 ~ nice citrus cold broth for the summer. Tantan Ramen $11.95 Handmade Gyoza 3pcs $2.95 ~ chewy texture. Common affair ~ Seaweed Salad & Takoyaki. For a business that opened just for a little while, it has a street food ambience and bathroom could use a reno. I would dine here again

Yelp
Ninja ramen is my fucking go to! The owner is from Japan cooked in la for a little while and is now up here in Oregon, I only go here for the spicy miso ramen with pork belly and let me tell you I drive 50 mins when my lady and I eat here once a week! I will only fuck with this guys ramen! I'm also from la where I've had all sorts of good ramen and this dudes spicy miso is some of the most authentic Japanese ramen I've had! Hint the guys from japan! Not from little Tokyo in la

Yelp
The food here is amazing, I lived abroad in Yokosuka Japan for many years, and this is authentic Tokyo comfort food. The Chicken Karage took me back to the days walking around Tokyo downing chu hi's and eating Karage Bowls. Airline tickets are expensive so if you get the Karage Chicken let it fly your taste buds to Tokyo. Gochisosamadeshita! Domo Arigato Gozaimas. Not sure what they're serving in San Jose.

Yelp
Found this great restaurant in Hillsboro. The service was fast and friendly for takeout. Delicious food! Tried 5 different things and loved them all. Highly recommend Chicken Karaage! Get more than you think you need...you'll want more once you taste it!

Yelp
Best Ramen I have found on the west side in the last like 5 or so years? It's my default Ramen spot at this point.

Yelp
Spicy Karaage Don and Tan Tan Ramen is the absolute best in Washington County!!! So much favor and top quality ingredients every time. I have only done take out. Hope to get to dine in one day. Everyone that works here are great and friendly. They have their order site too. I love how easy and fast it is to turn in an order. They expect future orders which helps with my work. I can order right before I leave work. By the time I drive to their shop they are open and have my order ready to go.
