My first time there. Called in the order for takeout. The lady who answered was very cheerful and friendly. I picked up the food and she was just as great in person to me. And then the food was really good! I'm not sure if they mixed up the soup size because I'd ordered a large and it wasn't really much. Was just two small bowls when split. But like I say, the food was great. I recommend them!

I almost didn't want to leave this review because I don't want it to get too popular. I mainly come for their lunch menu which is usually a few dollars cheaper than their dinner menu. But at dinner, the ambience changes a bit and it makes for a cozy and delicious dinner spot. Service is always top notch and the food is great. I'm a sucker for the yellow curry.

One of the best Thai restaurants in the entire Bay Area. The ingredients are fresh and the food has incredible authentic flavor. We love the Jicama salad and the salmon curry. Service is very genuine and attentive. We will be back!

I’m Malaysian and this is some pretty decent Thai food. By default, they have scaled back the chillies for local consumption buy I’m pretty they can make it to your taste. They also make some great Thai desserts which I don’t think is sold in the restaurant but can be ordered.

Came for dinner with a friend on a Sunday night. We arrived on the early side - around 6 - and had the whole place to ourselves. The restaurant is on the smaller side and by 7 or 8 had completely filled up. The waitress was very friendly and attentive throughout the evening. We had the red curry, jicama salad, and shrimp garlic noodle. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The shrimp garlic noodle was probably our favorite. The noodles were cooked perfectly and there was just enough garlic to provide an oomph, but not to overpower. Glad to have found a tasty, affordable Thai place in the neighborhood.

The food was alright, nothing to write home about (or overeat for). The service was adequate but a little perfunctory. I thought it was odd we were never offered a drink menu and I actually had to ask for one halfway through the meal—and half the wines were crossed off by having white paper taped mostly over those lines. A quiet and pleasant enough place to catch up with a friend, but probably not somewhere I'll dine again real soon.

This is a must-eat restaurant if you're in the Piedmont / Oakland area. Very intimate setting and AMAZING food. The edamame is unlike anything you've had before, and the curries are superb (try the yellow curry!). Their take on Pad Thai is very unique. My partner and I come here every three weeks and we live in SF!

Everything is delicious, but we particularly love the corn fritters, curries, salads and pad thai! The chef and his family are gracious hosts with wonderful hospitality. Try it -- you'll love it!
