"The restaurant was one of two regional businesses that investigators found weren’t complying with wage laws. The other was Nino Salvaggio Fruit and Vegetable Markets, which operates three metro Detroit stores. That company has agreed to pay its 212 employees $135,657 in overtime an interest in order to resolve a federal lawsuit." - Brenna Houck

Love it here! And Logan in the bakery was a saint! The pastry ladies weren’t in for what I needed but he jumped in to help and did an AMAZING job! Highly recommend!

This is one of the weirdest grocery stores I have been to. It is way too nice. They have a great selection of meat such as steak. They have a bunch of sweets, produce, any milk you could ask for. They even have TVs and a sitting area to watch the game. The inside is very eloquent with various lights and different decorations.

Alex

Google
Fantastic spot for fresh, high quality groceries and specialty items. The produce is always fresh, and they have a great selection of meats, cheeses, and prepared foods. The store can get busy, but the staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are a bit on the higher side.

Brenda Betancourt

Google
Excellent gourmet prepared food, wide variety of products, really clean and beautifully organized.

Google
Freshest produce, seafood and bakery. The produce here is top notch, it stays good way longer than any other market. The seafood staff does a great job and gave me some ideas on how to prepare the fish I bought!

Garry Kepes

Google
The store is well lighted and clean. If you can't find what you're looking for with the signs, the staff appeared to go out of their way to help you find it. With the location and good quality rankinking very good, it helps justify the high prices.

My wife and I was planning to go to Plum's Market in West Bloomfield but on our way I decided to stop at this place called Nino Salvaggio International Market. I am very glad that we did! Upon going there we rows and rows of fresh produce and vegetables. And what immediately struck us was the great selection of things that they had in prices. In the past we have gone to different places and found the same items were ridiculously overpriced! Not at Ninos. This place has everything. We were able to find all of the different fruits and vegetables my wife was looking for and paid about $60 for our haul. I could tell the atmosphere was very upbeat and professional. Upbeat and professional. I went in the corner where the cafe is to use the restroom and as I was taken care of my business, a restroom attendant came in and started wiping down the windows singing Rick James. I believe his name was Ryan. Had a small conversation with him after I got done and was washing my hands. I could tell he enjoys his job. Him singing Rick James as I had told him reminded me of when my wife and I got married and we were singing and dancing to his classic song "Cold Blooded." When I told him this he started singing that as well. I could tell that this gentleman loved his job and was in a great mood. My overall experience there as well as my wife's was top notch! We will definitely shop here more often. One other thing I would like to know is we don't live in Bloomfield but we'll gladly bypass several places we used to go to just to come to Nino's. Thank you for the great service.

Google
Nino’s is an amazing store. The variety and quality are exceptional. They have a huge selection of seafood to choose from. We live in Toledo, OH but make the drive on a regular basis because it is that good. Happy to learn they are opening a store on the Schoolcraft College campus. That will be considerably closer to home for us. If you have never been to a Nino’s, you must check it out. Oh, almost forgot to mention their incredible in store bakery. All kinds of bread and sweets. Awesome.

Yelp
While not QUITE as massive as the Troy location, this Nino Salvaggio still pains me when I walk around because I wish (oh how I wish!) that we had one closer to us in Ann Arbor (I know Livonia is coming, which is slightly better, but still!) I would buy all my meals here. ALL of them, from the prepared food section. Pastas, meatloafs, bbq, veggie sides, even a Polish dinner of kielbasa and pierogi! Plus soups, and more--all heat and serve. The amount of money I would save on delivery alone! And the bakery section? Humminah humminah. Real good stuff in there. The produce section is incredible. So much variety and such quality. And the best part? The prices are not nearly what you would expect for such a great grocer. I long for the day we have one in town but until then I guess I'll have to stock up every time I'm in the area!

Yelp
Favorite grocery store until yesterday! The female employee in the cheese department, maybe in her 50s? Dark hair. Was so beyond mean! I was in shock. I said excuse me then proceeded to ask about a specific cheese. She looked at me w a straight face and said "I didn't hear you say hi to me" w a straight face and total silence after. Just looking at me waiting to say hi?? Wtf. I played nice and said OH HI! Asked her the same question again.. lol. If you're that rude you shouldn't work in customer service. Lady was insane.

Yelp
One of the best looking, cleanest grocery store. Everything stack so pretty and organized. I never seen vegetables stack vertically at a grocery store before. It does cost a little bit more than Meijer but a lot of stuff you can find good value. For example, if you do the math, their premade meal like pizza and lasagna is cheaper than eating out. Especially if you buy the bigger portion. Meat and seafood looks so good, they sell a lot of specialty brand, also everyone is so nice and helpful.

Yelp
TOTALLY AWSOME !!! We relocated to the area from Palm Springs, CA and I just found my favorite grocery shopping store. Everyone was super friendly and smiling, the shelves were fully stocked, the place was clean. Awesome bakery, fresh meat counter, veggies, deli and I could just go on and on but see for yourself. I thought the prices were reasonable too.

Yelp
Again, another establishment that I can't believe I haven't written a review for! Nino Salvaggio is a tried and true establishment within metro Detroit that I have been shopping at since I can remember! My family normally shopped at the one on Rochester Road, but I'd have to say this location, on Telegraph, is my personal favorite out of all the Nino Salvaggio's in the area! I like how massive and open this one is, it feels like they carry even more goods than other places, whether that's just a trick of how open concept this market is compared to other ones, I'm not sure, but this one is my favorite. Nino's is the perfect place to go for less traditional, more artisanal, but still affordable produce, veggies, meat, cheese, bread, and pantry items. I find that I prefer Nino's produce over any other supermarket, because they are always extra fresh and always look great. This is a wonderful place to pick up a bunch of accoutrements as well, for example - they have a seemingly endless selection of items stuffed in olives that you can get, bulk nuts, candies, etc., and so many more unique things that I'm hard pressed to find at any other supermarket. I find that if you're trying to go for more local brands or just in general less of the "big" brand names, you'll find a great selection here! There are limited Nino Salvaggio's in the area, so I try to go any time that I can when I find myself on Telegraph because it's always worth a stop!

Yelp
10 out of 10 This was the first time we ordered from Nino Salvaggio's catering for an event we hosted. The entire experience was incredible! This business excels at what they do. Everything was checked when kitchen turned over to host, then checked again with us prior to leaving. The presentation was great and everyone complimented us on the food. There is no doubt you have future customers with us, but also many that were at our event.

Shamar H.

Yelp
I was first gobsmacked by the sheer layout. Beautifully displayed fresh produce as I entered. While it can get a little tight in some places if you and another person have a cart, the bounty of fresh beautiful fruit, herbs and veggies is impressive, anytime I can find fresh lemongrass, you got me in your bosom! The meat and cheese section was also amazing, while a little underwhelming the bakery got me with the lemon burst. Beer and Liquor, this store has it all! I WILL be back!

Tod H.

Yelp
Hands down the best grocery shopping experience in metro Detroit. Been shopping here for over 20 years. Current story is Bloomfield Township, but I love them all! Each store is unique, but all of them offer the very best quality products and one hell of a fine team. Their level of service is second to none, wine selection at the larger stores is fantastic and I really dig the look and feel of each store. Some say they are more expensive, which might be true on some products, but overall, I find their pricing to be extremely fair, especially given the quality .

Eugene S.

Yelp
Great food and excellent customer service. Great joy to shop at this establishment. I truly recommend this great shopping experience.

Gabi M.

Yelp
Whenever I am in my home town / visiting my parents' house, I absolutely love going grocery shopping and filling my mom's fridge and pantry with food... This Nino's Bloomfield location is one of my favorite places to shop... they have an incredible selection of high quality produce, meat, seafood, baked goods, prepared foods, snacks, frozen foods, flowers, and so much more. Sure, their prices are high, but it's worth splurging every once in a awhile! Enjoy :)

John S.

Yelp
I shop here all the time and I'm generally pleased with the quality and service throughout the store. However, you guys really dropped the ball on the pre-made chicken kebobs. It was obvious that you used the cheapest chicken in the kabobs and they were basically tasteless, rubbery, and inedible. I know you are in business to make money, but don't give your clientele $3.99 per pound chicken in a kabob that you charge $7.99 for. Charge me 2 bucks more and put some good Bell & Evans on the skewer. I had to toss the lot and was embarrassed in front of my guests. Glad I made a really good rice pilaf so my guests didn't go hungry.

Carla V.

Yelp
Always the freshest produce. Helpful and friendly employees. Clean and well organized.

V M.

Yelp
I'm in town for business. Stopped in to stock up on basic healthy snacks. The perfect place for it. They had prepared meals. I picked out the cabbage rolls. It is so good! Service was fast. Place was nice & clean. I left my umbrella & I called to find out customer service had it. Great experience. Great place.

Yelp
I have drove pass this place for years and that was a big mistake on my part. I finally stopped and was rewarded in finding delicious food and a huge flower section. I came to see if they had any good sushi. The lady who makes it was still there on a Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pm. I asked her to make their crunchy shaggy dog roll without the spicy mayo. It has shrimp tempura and shrimp & crab with eel sauce. EBS would have been impressed with it. Best grocery store sushi I have ever had and even better than some Asian Fusion places. While it was being made, I checked out a few other parts of the store. The desserts area looks so good that you can gain weight by just breathing. I got an individual pineapple upside down cake, multiple chocolate brownie bar, and carmel apple parfait. All are worthy of their calories. I also looked at the take home meals. There I found the best Sloppy Joe's I have ever had for a great price of $3.99 for a pint. The individual honey ham and cheese quiche was also great. I found carnations priced 6.99 a dozen. Long stem ones. Those are hard to find. I didn't really get to see the rest of the store but I think Westborn Market will not be seeing me as much. Customer service was top notch. Learned what I had missed for years.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to visit when I am in the Detroit area. This store is not in the city of Detroit, just to be clear. Now that's out, yes it's a purveyor grocery marketplace that reminds me of a larger Dean & Deluca ( RIP). Everything is boutiqued so well and appeasing to your senses. I always make sure to get something new that I haven't seen or tasted. I just so appreciate this place. Thank you Nino Scorsese! I know that's not the correct spelling but that's what I have been calling it for years. LMFAO

Barbara P.

Yelp
I generally go to this location bc it's close to where I live. I really like the store; very pleasant employees, good selection of just about everything, especially the produce department. They have a cafe for delicious hot soups, great pizzas, sandwiches, and more. You can take out hot or cold soups, sauces, dips. Good bakery. Suggest you freeze whatever you don't use by day one or two. Prices are not off the wall, but tend to be high, especially with the fruit, in my opinion. They have a lot of meals and prepared food to go. Grocery shopping is almost fun there.

Yelp
I normally shop at Nino Salvaggio's Troy location because it is closer to my home. But I heard this new location in Bloomfield Township was opening so I planned to eventually check it out. Today I was returning home from an appointment in West Bloomfield and, since there are multiple routes I could use, I picked one that went by this Nino's. When pulled in I found that parking can be a bit challenging as Nino's is in the middle of a number of other stores in a strip mall that all use a large shared parking lot. Nino's Troy has its own private parking lot. Once inside, I found an interesting visual in that I could see from one end of the store to the other; it has a very open layout! Of course with any store that has multiple locations, such as Costco, Meijer, etc., we get used to the one we visit regularly. There is a confusion factor when visiting another store with a different layout that can end up costing extra time. Today I was just browsing and exploring so time was not critical. I come through this area frequently enough so I will definitely be able to stop in and pick up groceries and other things along the way. But I am not going to be abandoning the Troy location!

Gary B.

Yelp
A trendy upper class grocery in a trendy strip mall on Telegraph. Quality produce, wine, and meat, all priced to the upper class. Attractively presented. A section of prepared food, a little pricey but looks great, with a few tables set up cafe style to enjoy in the store if you want. The beer selection tended towards upper crust, but was not very broad. Clean, open, bright, and shiny. You will spend a lot of money for the food and drink, but will leave with quality stuff.

Amy B.

Yelp
I cannot tell you just how excited I am that Nino's finally opened this location. It was a much needed add to the grocery scene on this side of town, since they closed their 14 mile and Middlebelt location many years ago. There's enough Krogers, Meijers and others that they all sort of blend together after a while. Nino's made grocery shopping fun again, which is why I've watched them not only build this place in a very old Kroger location, but bring some life back to this strip mall. Walking in, the place is laid out really nice, with beautiful produce, nuts, candy, coffee, meat and the famous deli that is really cool. The fish department is fabulous, and sells lox, smoked white fish, and all sorts of stuff. More importantly, they have a Kosher section here. and I don't mean just a shelf in the corner of the ethnic section either! It's not always easy to find good kosher stuff that is close in this part of town, and it's very important to me. Also, the staff here is fabulous, friendly and goes out of their way to help. I was greeted by a nice gal in the bakery who was able to help me reach something on the top shelf of the coffee department. I was also greeted when I was cruising through the bakery section as well. Overall, Nino's has a great selection of produce, name brand stuff, custom items, and really knowledgeable staff. Thank you for opening at this location so we can all get real groceries for once!

Dawn V.

Yelp
The long awaited opening is here and it was worth it! This is a beautiful store and has everything you can imagine. My initial fears of the costs were unfounded. We purchased from the ready-made food section, (made in house), and had dinner for 2 for $10: quiche, roasted brussel sprouts and green bean almondine. All delicious. They have a lovely in house cafe as well. (a huge, thick slice of fresh tasting marguerita pizza for $1.69!! Add a drink, can or fountain for $1.29) I liked the pizza more than any you can order or carry out in this area. Bread bar, sushi bar, deli, wine sampling, bakery... it goes on and on. And they were ready for the crowds: 12? registers open, front and back parking/doors and everything continuously filled and cleaned.

Mercedes V.

Yelp
Didn't know that the store will close early at 8pm today. The guy at the sliding door entrance told us that we have 10 minutes to go around, pick stuff and check out. No rush ;-) Anyways, the store is, of course, brand new and so are the display items. The usual when entering a grocery, is you get to see the produce section on the right, wine section next to it. The aisles are wide enough to fit two carts side by side. What distracts me are the barrels or display boxes placed in the middle or end of the aisles-which made the aisles look cluttered. I do like flat tv screens and light fixtures at their cafe & coffee bar. The flowers for sale looked colorful and unique. In front of the vinos, are the pieces of bread. To its' right are the whole cakes and slices of sweet desserts. Next to their patisseries are the deli & cheese, meat, poultry, and seafood department. Lots of selection in hot and cold prepared foods. Can't name them all but basically, they have wrapped sandwiches, bowls of salad, then the hot food. Kindly look at the pictures I've posted to get an idea. Nino also has a rewards or loyalty card. The cashier did mention anything about it until we asked. He told us to go online to register or come back next time and get a card from their customer service desk. Choose either paper bag or plastic to carry your groceries. I find their reusable bag to be cute. Not sure if they have coupons or apps, but the price is comparable to Plum Market. Tough competition for Trader Joes, which is a few steps away. Private parking, no validation needed. Heavy traffic coming from Maple & Telegraph road. Drive safe and happy shopping at Nino's!

Karim J.

Yelp
This grocer is in line with other specialty markets like Westborn, Holiday and Busch's. The difference with this one is the obvious Italian theme. I really felt like I was in a Little Italy. As you can tell by the pictures there is a variety of produce, dairy, meats, and name brand goods. I was quite impressed with the deli aisle, which is quite overwhelming to say the least. It's a large place so you wanna take your time here. Like other markets this place is quite pricey, so make sure you know what you want otherwise you will find yourself overdoing it at the checkout line.

Stephanie A.

Yelp
This store is awesome!! They have everything you need and more. It gives you the feeling of walking into a small shops in Italy. The staff is friendly, polite and informative. Also practicing mask wearing and social distancing. I am very impressed and I am in love. Sorry Whole Foods I found another love !!!!

Richard E.

Yelp
NEVER AGAIN. I will never step foot in this place again. Here are some recent experiences that led to this. 1. A close friend who was having a cookout dinner for important business associates asked me where to buy the best quality meat. I sent him to Salvaggio's. He reported that the meat was a disaster...at least 25% gristle. He was mortified. I was mortified. 2. A while back I ordered one pound of a piece of 25 dollar per pound fish. When the clearly inexperienced fishmonger gave me the package it was over forty dollars. I looked and saw that he gave me 1 and 3/4 pounds of fish. When I said I only wanted one pound he rolled his eyes at me and shook his head as if I was being unreasonable. 3. Today I meant to treat myself to a prime strip steak which is usually the only steak cut I buy. There was no one else at the counter. When I asked the guy if they had any he said they did not. I then asked him what he would recommend instead. I asked if the Delmonico was good. He rolled his eyes at me and blurted out, "What kind of question is that?!" I said I was just asking for advice. He said, "That's only the second best cut in the world...blah, blah, blah" while looking at me like a complete idiot. That was when I left for the last time.

Yelp
Grabbed some sushi to take home and it was great! Very fresh, flavorful, and many different selections of rolls! The produce is great, the bakery is always fresh and the customer service is top notch. Not only do I grocery shop here, I use them for catering food. They always have a beautiful display.

Angela T.

Yelp
This was my first time at this location. I have been to the Troy and Clinton Twp. locations. I love the variety of products here, although it is slightly overpriced. Most of the items are very fresh. I went in for fruit. I purchased dragonfruit, red and baby green grapes, pineapple, tango apples, honey crisp apples, bananas, strawberries, and a few other products. I initially went in just for honey crisp apples. I noticed that they also had tango apples, which I had not tried before. They are very good and sweet, very similar to honey crisp. Most of the dragonfruit was not fresh, therefore I purchased the only fresh one. There also weren't many organic bananas available. They were unripe and I wanted ones that were ripe, but still greenish. Therefore, I had to settle for non organic bananas. Both grapes were really good! I really like the baby grapes because they truly are seedless. One of the other items that I purchased was French sparkling pink lemonade. It caught my eye when I was shopping for berries. It was really good! Overall, I would definitely return. This location is right next to my gym and most of the items are very fresh, especially the berries. I think everywhere that I shop at is overpriced, so that doesn't really influence my decision much lol.

Jeanette A.

Yelp
My first time there and i throughly enjoyed myself! Reminds me of Central Market in Dallas,Tx not as many exotic fruits as I hoped for though but they have a really nice Wine section and so man bread and cheese selections! I was there for about an hour just looking at all the delicious things they had. They have a lot of fresh premise salads and other foods that all you need to do is heat once home that you can make a whole meal from. They have a nice self fresh fish and meat counter and deli meat. They also have lots of different olives and pickles in-deli containers it's a bit expensive but everything looks fresh! They do require mask and they are wearing them as well! Service was quick and people are friendly I'm definitely going back there.

Ann M.

Yelp
They don't keep their hours posted correctly. I called and verified on line and it was stated they close at 8pm. The management decided to close at 6pm. Thank goodness for Trader Joe's!

Nancy S.

Yelp
yesterday I was overwhelmed by too many yummy tantalizing foods ! the grouchy cashier did not even spoil my 1st experience! Then the Flower Fairy finished my experience with a beautiful bouquet. Chicken Marsala & Manicotti DELISH

D J.

Yelp
FRESH PRODUCE, reasonable prices, CLEAN, neat atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, I love it won't go anywhere else.

Ricci S.

Yelp
As an Interior Designer its all about presentation to me and Nino Salvaggio tops my list of well merchandised supermarkets! From the fruits to the produce section and the meats! Top quality and also nicely placed! Gourmet foods galore! Lighting...the best! I love shopping here and also the floral and plant selection that welcomes you is another thing to celebrate! I so love this place!

Donavon O.

Yelp
Leaving one star for the meat department. Tonight I bought some spinach feta chicken sausages and while I was preparing them, I found multiple chunks of ham in them, disgusting. I've worked in a similar meat market setting for some time and this was undeniably ham in the chicken sausage. Had to throw them out since we can't eat pork. It is as if they were trying to hide the ham that they couldn't sell in the sausage. Lord knows what other mystery meats they're putting in their in-house made products. It is not right nor ethical to package this and sell it as a chicken product.

Rebecca B.

Yelp
It is beautiful. The aisles were labeled well and they have super specialty things. Fresh bread, good looking meat, bakery items. It would be great for something fancy and specific. For everyday, it is overpriced. 1 lb of ground chicken was $7.08. Strawberries were $5. Milk for $3.89. Everything was a solid $1-2 more than it should be. A fruit bowl for $17. Surprisingly, no real vegan options, which tj next door has an abundance of... I might not be the target audience. It is about 1.5 miles from my house, but I was SOOOOO hoping this would be an every day store like the Kroger before and it is not. It looks like they are picking at the former grocery store at 15 and orchard lake...hopefully it is an everyday store.

Alisa C.

Yelp
A beautiful, brand new Ninos filled with all sorts of fresh and packaged foods. The layout is just ok and it felt a little tight getting around the store, but the choices were endless. They have food tasting stations on the weekends which is always fun. The lobster mac and cheese was delish as was the Mindy's Yummy sauces. The fruit and veggie options looked particularly fresh and inviting.

Shirl C.

Yelp
Love how many options there are for everything you need or want! They have a huge selection of cheese, pasta, meats, wines, and most importantly, sweets! They are located where Andiamos and Trader Joe's is and have an entrance at the back and front of the store. If you are hungry, you can always grab a bite to eat or coffee before starting your grocery shopping. A bit on the expensive side, but with the options and selection size, it's definitely worth it!

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Like others have mentioned, this store is AWESOME!! Their produce section has really unique items you can't find at a lot of other places. Their salads look fantastic. The bakery has a mouthwatering selection of rolls, bagels, loaves of bread and more desserts than you can imagine. I highly recommend the cinnamon raisin biscuits! Their fish and meat selection is beautiful. During my last visit I picked up a few of the prepared chicken cordon bleus. FANTASTIC and very reasonable. They have a very impressive beer and wine selection. They have plenty of "regular" items (pasta, rice, soups, etc) that you may need for your everyday needs. Their flower and gift section is absolutely gorgeous. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the quality is fantastic. I wish there was one closer to my house! :)

Jody K.

Yelp
I, like others, was waiting impatiently for this Nino Salvaggio location to open. I went there today, and, since it was a Sunday shortly after opening, it was PACKED. The first thing I noticed is that there is horrible traffic flow; it is not arranged well and as soon as one person stops to look at something, everyone else has to stop. The aisles are narrow and there is no rhyme or reason that I can see to how they are set up. There is an eating area at the front, which immediately impairs traffic flow as you walk into the store, as the ordering area is to the left, and you cannot walk into the store (that I could see) without going through that area. The deli area is at the back of the store. It shocked me that there is no display case with prices listed, although there are a few electronic signs with specials on them. In front of the service counter, there is a case with full packages (or whatever you call them) of meat in them, but there are no prices on them. When it was my turn, I asked the young clerk for the price of roast beef, and when he asked me what kind, I didn't know what the options were. It also took him a long time to find the information. Additionally, the deli counter is way too high for short people like me, especially with the wide case in front of it. I almost had to ask the clerk to toss my meat to me! The quality of the food -- and the prices -- is very high, as is to be expected from this chain. But, I think that when I am in need of the specialty-type items that they carry, I will go to the smaller and better laid-out Johnny Pomodoro's -- which, ironically, is in the former Nino Salvaggio space.

Tanya T.

Yelp
Beautiful new location that we are so excited about! It so nice to have this type of market on our side of town. The store is so beautifully done. Everything looks so new, with tons of options and huge selections of everything. Other than fresh produce there is a popcorn, soup, floral, sushi, deli, breads, cheese and sweet counters. As far as wine, there is an entire room dedicated to their selections of wine. There is even a cafe inside the store to grab a bite to eat before or after you shop. We are so happy to have this store in the neighborhood!

Ann V.

Yelp
The selection was good. The staff on the other hand left much to be desired, especially at the deli. 3 there, not waiting on anyone, and it took them several minutes to finally wait n me. Did not slice my salami as I asked. Had they showed me a slice, they would have known. Cashier that waited on me, acted like I'd interrupted her day. The bagger however was very kind and helpful. I've read other negative reviews, but didn't want to believe them. The ninos on Rochester road, is definitely more to my liking.

Jason H.

Yelp
Yes, it's pricier. Who cares? You are definitely getting quality here. If I ever need a quasi-specialty ingredient I can usually find it here. The prepared foods are delicious, especially the spicy snack mix and the sushi. Would never make a full grocery run here of course, but it's absolutely perfect for the niche it fills.

Donna L.

Yelp
I just started coming to this store on my way home from an appointment, I do not live close to this store but am super excited whenever I can come by. They have the widest variety of pre made meals, meat and fish counter, lunch meat and dessert and bakery areas I've seen in a long time. The produce department also has a wide variety and things always look so fresh! I've been to other markets similar to this but this place puts them to shame. I can be in there for over an hour and still not make it through half the store! Wish I was closer I would shop there regularly. Very impressive and reasonably priced for the quality.

Yelp
They have a nice variety and lots of produce. However, they have double charged me on items before, and on occasion their bottled goods are expired. These things happened few and far in between so not a big deal. Overall a nice grocery store, a little overpriced but the produce is worth it generally.

Yelp
I absolutely love this store. The store is immaculate, always well stocked and the staff is amazing!!! I'm so happy there is now a Nino's near my house...now I don't ya e to drive all the way to the border of Troy & Rochester. During this pandemic my family visits Nono's at least once per week and every time we go we are greeted by an employee offering us a clean basket! I feel very safe shopping at this store, there are visible safety precautions being taken.

Yelp
Phenomenal experience my first time there the staff was very friendly and helpful approaches me to help me look for new fruits to try. The next month I brought my grandma and she enjoyed it to especially their corn sale. Store is clean and bright and inviting!

Yelp
Best fresh produce I have run across. Amazing sweet corn this summer. Such variety, hard to find and unusual items. From Their fresh baked bread and bakery to the deli, to go items, it is all so yummy. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get. If you have never been to this store, you should stop by and check them out. It is like eye candy for food shopping.

Yelp
Very expensive, the selection is amazing and appears clean. Please make the prices a little more reasonable.

Yelp
Beautiful store and I am really happy they opened this location. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the selection is great, although I agree with other reviewers that the layout is bad. I got burgers and needed buns recently and I walked about a quarter mile to trying to find everything. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me the way they've organized it. Also, I wish they had the variety of produce the Troy location does, but I understand the Asian population is more dense there. I'd love it if they added more of these items. I can buy all other kinds of produce anywhere--there's are nice grocery stores all over the place--but I can't find lime leaves anyplace. I'd come to Nino's far more often if they offered ingredients I couldn't find anywhere else. As it is, I only stop in if I'm already going to Trader Joe's. I have to mention one other thing that was extremely disappointing: The prepared fried chicken. I purchased the box of 7 or 8 pieces the other day and I threw it al out after my family tried it. The cuts were bizarre, for one thing. I could not tell what they even were when I opened the box. I had to cut them open. One was part of a breast with most of a back attached, another was a partial thigh. The breading was extremely thick and grainy and flavored awfully. It was completely disgusting. The worst fried chicken I have ever had, easily. I was really surprised at how terrible it was.

Yelp
Having been a Nino's shopper for a couple decades, I was excited when the Bloomfield store opened. Customer service and Online ordering deliveries are good BUT I am disappointed that the groceries I order are often about to expire. Food here is expensive. It would be nice if the shoppers were more thorough in choosing selected items for people ordering online. Something to consider if you spend this kind of money...

Yelp
This is the newest, shiniest Nino's, and it lives up to its name. The produce is impeccable and ample. The customer service in the aisles and at the register is top notch. By virtue of the location, there is also a great selection of Kosher type foods - think 3 varieties of gefilte fish, about types of pickles...There is also huge wine selection, and the deli/butcher/bakery area is immense. The only negative is the notorious Bloomfield drivers in the parking lot. But at least there are places to return your carts in this lot - the Troy store has gotten rid of all theirs.
