Where was ‘The Amateur’ filmed? The surprising filming locations behind the new spy thriller

During Heller’s Paris surveillance, the action unfolds in and around this elegant cake shop in the 5th arrondissement, a spot frequented by one of his targets and known for NYC‑inspired cake recipes like its pumpkin pie, blending refined Parisian charm with a distinctly American baking influence. - Phil de Semlyen

Watched the amateur movie coincidentally on my flight to Paris. Figured it was a sign to stop in. Great coffee and pastries, the hostess was very sweet and helpful too. Definitely recommend

We stumbled upon this place by complete accident and it was a very lucky accident indeed. We were mesmerised by the lovely atmosphere inside and the display of amazing pastries. We also tried savoury lunch dishes and they were also very tasty. Would definitely come back here once I'm back in Paris.

We dropped into this small shop for some afternoon coffee and pastries - and were quite happy to find both in a quaint charming restaurant with a casual atmosphere, good food and great service. We ordered at the desk and he brought the coffee and our pastry to our table. I went with a pumpkin tarte, which was remarkably similar to the US pumpkin pie, only better. The coffee was excellent.

We came while trying to find a place for a drink on a Saturday night. The proprietor was so incredibly friendly and hospitable. We had a bottle of sparkling wine and tried some of the savory madelines, we also took home a slice of carrot cake and the raspberry cream tart. All the pastries were fantastic! We’d definitely return.

Dreamy and delicious desserts made by a Japanese chef! The cherry tart is super good. The cafe is spacious and nicely decorated with wooden furniture. The terrace is wide and good for people watching. There’re books for sale too. The cashier and server is friendly and professional.

This was my favorite place while staying at the latin quarter. The food was unique and delicious and the service provided by Bea was impeccable. We are planning to come back!

Sebastien was super professional and helped us design our dream wedding cake. We came for a tasting session in the summer and designed the cake with Sebastien which was 4 tiers with different flavours. The cake was just to our liking and we got so many compliments from our guests. It was all very smooth and arrived on time as Ninon also were very helpful and organised delivery to our venue an hour outside Paris. I would recommend using Ninon
