Niramaya Villas & Spa

Two adults and one teen had a very relaxing week here at niramaya. The staff are very friendly and nothing was a bother. We loved finishing the day out from visiting with a swim in the our own private pool. Even after dinner when it was still very warm it was a welcome treat. Lot of bird life and frogs who call this place home.|My husband had a massage at the spa and was very relaxed after. Thankyou for hosting us and can't wait to come back.

What an incredible place to relax in, if you truly value quiet, beauty and peace this is the place to visit. Gorgeous villas, gardens and staff make this a really wonderful place to be. You are greeted by very friendly reception crew, the grounds are beautifully kept, the restaurant is welcoming, food delicious and staff cheery and helpful. The villas are amazing, private well equipped and truly special. Just a small drive out of the main buzz, but close enough to everything you need to see and do in Port Douglas, this place is one of our most enjoyable and must come back places to stay!

Niramaya is an incredible spot to rest and recharge. It felt like being in your very own resort. Every view is stunning and very well maintained. The room itself is great although a bit disjointed being seperate from the lounge to the bedroom. The gazillion baby frogs (assuming cane toads) were everywhere and you needed to watch every step you took to avoid squashing them. They were also in the pool. Our entire villa was very clean. There were heaps of kitchen equipment although scattered around the kitchen making it a bit hard to find what you need at first. Restaurant was fantastic! Room service was prompt. Looking forward to returning again one day and thank you for such a nice relaxing stay. Almost forgot, the outside showers were covered in spider webs sadly and I could not use them.

Absolutely fantastic ambience. It's like being in Bali for the day without all the grotesque statues, taxes and queues to cross the line past immigration. The restaurant is sensational. High quality Delicious food at a reasonable price. The staff are friendly and the service is first class.

Don't go past this amazing resort. What you see online is what you get and more. From the amazing layout of the apartment with your own private pool... to the lush gardens..cool restaurant and bar with main pool area to the amazing staff..(special mention to Josh and Juliette) this is the only place to stay in Port Douglas ! Our stay at Niramaya Villas far exceeding our expectation. The staff were friendly, polite and professional and were very helpful. The villa was beautifully decorated and appointed, much larger than we anticipated and had everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable, relaxing and peaceful. The plunge pool was incredible - the perfect temperature and also very private. We loved the birdlife, the surrounding grounds and the sunsets. We didn't want to leave. We highly recommend Niramaya and will definitely be returning.

Craig, Julieta and Pauline were so amazing and hospitable throughout our trip, the spa itself is amazing, but they made the stay much more exciting, comfy, and welcoming. Beautiful food, beautiful pools and amazing service throughout. I advise for anyone interested in a stay in Port Douglas to stay here.

Our stay at Niramaya Villas was amazing. Our family of four adults all went ‘WOW!’ when we arrived. Our villa was perfect for our family getaway to celebrate a special occasion - beautiful spaces to gather as a family, or to spread out and relax in your own private area. We loved our plunge pool! The staff were helpful and friendly, the tropical gardens were stunning, and the villa extremely well equipped. We enjoyed the tennis court, gym, resort pool and Santi restaurant (dining and hamper delivery). The special treats on arrival were a delightful surprise. We can’t wait to return!

Niramaya's spa is the best way to relax after however long you've traveled to get to Port Douglas. My boyfriend and I booked the romance package and it was two hours of blissful treatments, followed by the most amazing bath looking out into the rainforest. We had access to the restaurant, pool and spa facilities, making this the perfect overcast/ rainy day activity. I couldn't recommend this spa highly enough.

The Niramaya Villas in Port Douglas were sensational...truly a 5-Star experience! We stayed as a family of five (2 adults and 3 children) in Villa 26 and enjoyed four incredible nights at the Villa. We were sad to leave and look forward to returning to this tropical paradise! It is tranquil, lush surroundings, beautiful accommodations, and you have your own tropical secluded villa complete with spacious rooms, big kitchen and den, private small pool, laundry and three bedrooms. And the pool and restaurant/bar are excellent...great service, wonderful people, excellent food. Breakfast is sensational! It is centrally located and a 5-8 minute shuttle/Uber ride to town. Wifi (a bit weak) is provided. We will certainly return...perfect fora relaxed, luxurious resort with a full kitchen and living area. Niramaya is impressive! Great for couples and families. Great spot to enjoy Port Douglas and do day trips for Rainforest, Diving, Beach, etc. Worth a visit...great five star experience!

Spent a half day at Niramaya and had a massage as well as lunch. I had a massage which included a $25 voucher for the restaurant as well as access to the facilities for my partner. The relaxation massage was a treat and the spa room was beautiful - it would be a wonderful spot for a couples day as the room includes two massage tables and outdoor tub. I could hear the birds during my treatment. The other spa facilities leave something to be desired. The hot and cold plunge pools in each change room are neither hot nor cold. The small sauna and shower areas were very nice. The pool is beautiful, though a bit noisy with children and families enjoying their day. Lunch was alright, though I wouldn't seek it out without already being on site for a stay or spa treatment.
